DW CS3 Layout Starter Files

Question

Hello
In the layout starter files, why does the first line of text
in the 'Main Content', not line up with the first line of text in
the 'Left Side Bar'? Can someone please tell me why, & if there
is a way to fix this?
I'm using 2 column fixed, left side bar, header & footer,
previewing in IE7.

It's because of the padding on the sidebar div which is
pushing contents
therein down by 30px. THis is enforced by the use of IE
Conditional
comments in the head of the page -

.twoColFixLtHdr #mainContent { zoom: 1; }
