DW CS3 (Trial) & Vista Business 64bit

Problembeschreibung:
(Entpacken klappt einwandfrei) Nur den Pfad von
C:\...\Desktop\... auf C:\...\Eigene Dateien\... geändert
1) Fehlermeldungen beim Öffnen der HTML-Dateien =>
will....
gearbeitet)
Meine Frage(n):
Jedenfalls

Meine Bitte daher an Adobe - macht Eure SW (zB. CS3-Suite)
Linux-tauglich. Ihr könnt davon nur profitieren!

  • Problems installing FW CS3 on Vista Business

    Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has come up with this problem.
Actually I have it with both, Fireworks and Dreamweaver. I'm
currently running my machine with Windows Vista Business, and when
trying to install, it does nothing.
I double click the installation file, it extracts the
content, then I see a progress bar that says "preparing", and after
that window dissappears I breafly see a Setup progress bar which
immediatly dissappears and THATS IT! gone! I tried running it as
Administrator, that won't make a difference.
P.S This is the trial I'm trying to install by the way,
however I've seen in other forums that users are finding the same
    problem with the full program.
    Any suggestions please?
    Thanx.

CS3 installs/runs on Vista, and Win7 is pretty much the same codebase. You might try right-clicking the install program and then click Run as Administrator, but it's probably some other problem.

  • Photoshop cs3 trial - Vista - Won't extract

Hello, I'm having trouble getting the trial i downloaded to extract onto my system. It tells me i either haven't got enough room or administritive privileges to run the set-up. Both of which aren't true.
any help someone could offer me?
edit: this is the exact message i'm getting
"a problem occured while extracting some files. check available space on your computer and the write privileges on the destination folder"
I tried running that regsvr script, didn't help though.
    Thanks.
edit: okay, so I've now tried downloading it off of ie7 as opposed to firefox and I've got past the stage i got to previously. Strange.

are you trying to run setup from inside the archive? extract the whole thing first to a temporary folder then run setup from there.

  • Flash CS3 Activation in Vista Business 32bit

I'm posting this here since I just don't know what else I can
do... Flash customer service seems to be clueless.
We have a volume license for 10 installs of Flash CS3 Pro.
We've installed 2 of these already on XP machines without any
problems at all. Next, I tried to install it on my 32bit version of
Vista Business. I've ran into issues here, and I had to download
the file from adobe in order for it to install properly (it would
not install from the DVD). In any case, I've got Flash CS3
    installed on the Vista machine.
However, when I try to activate it using the serial number
provided, I get an error screen that says "Too Many Activations"
and it points me to where I can buy another key or enter a
different serial number. At first, we thought there was something
wrong with our license, but since then, two other people have
installed Flash CS3 on their XP machines using the same license,
and none of them have a problem. However, each time I try to
activate under Vista, I get the "Too Many Activations" error.
We've contacted the volume licensing department, and they
decided it was not a volume licensing error and gave us a phone
number of their tech support. We next called the tech support
department, and after many transfers, uninstalls, reinstalls, etc,
technical support decided it was not a technical issue and sent us
to the activation department. We then called the activation
department and they told us they do not deal with volume licenses,
and sent us back to the volume licensing department!
It seems pretty clear that Adobe has no clue how to fix this
issue, and no department is willing to even take a serious look at
it. On our final call to the volume licensing department, we spoke
for a while and they told us this issue will take a bit longer to
fix and that they will call us within two days. It has been 5 days
now, and it seems Adobe has decided to ignore us. This is extremely
    frustrating.
If anyone has ran into this issue when attempting to activate
under Vista, and has a workaround, could you please post something
about it here? Thank you very much.

Here is a little update for anyone who may be experiencing
    the same issue...
I was able to find the phone activation screen. In the screen
shot I posted above, you can click next while having the first
option selected. It will go to another screen that allows you to
select phone activation via "other activation options" link (or
    something similar).
    However...
I attempted to activate over the phone. The phone activation
failed, and I spoke to a person who determined that this is not an
activation issue. I was then transferred to the volume licensing
department (sound familiar? scroll up), and they said they do not
deal with activation, and transferred me back to the activation
department. The activation department again said it was not an
activation issue, and they attempted to transfer me back to the
licensing department... after I complained that they just keep
bouncing me back between the same departments, they again said that
they will escalate the issue, and will call me back (the EXACT same
response I received several days ago when I spoke to them). So,
again, I'm waiting for a phone call back from Adobe which will
    probably never come. Good luck!

  • DW CS3 won't work on Vista Business

Hi, I have Vista Business SP1 on an Acer 5720 laptop, all
bang up to date and DW CS3 installed. DW refuses to open - it gets
to "initializing files" on the splash and then hangs. Have
    reinstalled to no avail.

  • DW CS3 trial

I wanted to see if CS3 would run on my new notebook Core Duo
2 with Vista Home Premium? Min requirements say yes. I currently
have DW MX on it as well as Expression Web.(I liked the way EW
handled CSS but the crashes in the middle of a code session is
annoying) The CSS features on DW CS3 seem to me the ticket and I
wanted to try it out on the new computer. Downloaded the DW CS3
trial and ran setup several times but all I get is "there seems to
be a problem with your trial, try reloading" error msg when I try
to run it. After an hour of frustration I called Adobe and was told
by the "technical support person" that DW CS3 is only compatable
with XP and Vista business.??? Anyone know if this is true? I don't
think so and believe the problem may some kind of wierd
compatibility issue with MS EW??? Would like to know before I pony
    up for the upgrade.

  • Vista Business 64-bit Mac Pro 2.66 4-core

    Hi,
Before 10.5 release, I tried to install Vista Business 64-bit twice, Erasing and starting from scratch both times (on a dedicated internal hard drive).
Both times I had driver issues...I eventually Erased a 3rd time and went with 32-bit.
I learned today Apple is now supporting 64-bit at least on some later 2007 Mac Pro models.
    My 4-core 2.66 is April 2007.
    MY QUESTION:
    Does 64-bit work on a Mac Prow tower 2.66Ghz, 4-core (10gb ram)?
(I'm not brave enough to try it on my 8-core).
Will Windows Bootcamp SOFTWARE UPDATE give me all the required drivers -- no basic issues that would waste my time again trying to make 64bit work?
    +++++
Note: I have the Tiger 10.4 OEM disks and a retail Leopard 10.5.0 install disk to work with.
I also have both 64 and 32 bit disks for Vista Business.
Is there a trick to doing this?

I'm done for today, but there was only one trip-up, getting the 2008 64-bit Apple drivers.
I started with Vista RC1 two years ago, and no major deal breakers in the last year or so (late '07 seemed to clear up most driver and applications).
Format drive as MBR and NTFS (and skip using BootCamp Assistant).
    Install.
    Update.
    Install Apple drivers.
Don't install what you don't need (I learned to avoid Norton).
I've used Business, Home Premium and Ultimate, all 64-bit.
If you have a 2008, then use its OEM DVD for BootCamp 2.01 64-bit, you need those sort of for HAL and stuff. The 2008 officially supports 64-bit due to its EFI64 ROM is UEFI 2.01+.

  • Cannot install Photoshop CS4 on Windows Vista Business

Ok people, looking for some help with this.  I have a new PC (less than 2 months old).  I cannot get Photoshop CS4 installed at all.  I'm sure there have been a million threads like this before asking the same question.  Although I am a newb to Photoshop I am certainly not when it comes to computers, this is what I do for a living.  I can't even believe I am actually having to ask for help.... :\
Anyway, help appreciated.  I have Windows Vista Business SP1 (32-bit), and its running on a Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 @ 2.5GHz with 4 gig of RAM.  I have plenty of free space on my hard drives.
When the install completes, I get the same error message, installed with errors.  When I click to see the error info it says something about language packs (I can get the exact error if you want, just installed and uninstalled about 10 times but hey).
Things I have tried a few times have been to follow through all the other threads and the Adobe support pages - Uninstalling the product through Programs first, running Windows Install Cleanup, running the Adobe CS4 Clean Script - when I do these things in this order both of the cleanup utilities don't find any installs of Photoshop CS4, so it doesn't appear they are doing anything.  I have disabled everything on the PC, done a selective startup, turned off UAC, firewall, anti-virus - everything suggested.  Still, the same error persists.
I have even run my Registry Mechanic and cleaned up that, and of course checked registry permissions etc.  Please help!

You may want to install Vista SP2. It contains a lot of fixes and has the newer 4.5 installer.
Also if Vista is set for English then CS4 has to be set as US English upon install (I think someone already pointed that out).
Before install go services and set the windows installer to auto and start it. Also good idea to turn off windows defender.
Go to MSconfig and turnoff as many start up items that you don't need running (you will have to reboot).
Ensure nothing Adobe related is running in the back ground before install. (someone already mention this I think)
Anti-virus: I turned mine off during install.
I did not install AIR nor Device Central on my system as I would never use them.
    Tiernobyl wrote:
Ok, so I've tried all the things suggested above but still get the same errors....
    Adobe AIR
    Error:
    Error 2.
Adobe Photoshop CS4 English Language Pack
    Error:
    Error 2.
    LangPack (English) for DeviceCentral
    Error:
    Error 2.
Anyone else have any idea what might be causing my problem?  The other thing I was going to try was contacting Adobe support, but can I do this for the trial version?  When I tried to log a case it kept asking me to select my product, but I don't have one yet....
    Thanks.

  • MINI WAS on Windows vista business ?

    Dear All
    1. Does SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version works on windows vista business?
    2. Does SAP NetWeaver 7.0 ABAP Trial Version  supports Adobe forms, Web Dynpro, Composite Application Framework? I am interested only with ABAP engine.
    Thanks and Regards.

I can try and help with Number 2.
Adobe Forms and Composite Application Framework both require the Netweaver Java Web Applcation server.  You will be able to do ABAP web Dynpro just not Java Web Dynpro.
    Hope this helps.

  • Can't install Premiere Pro CS3 in vista x64!

    Hi
I'm trying to install Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 trial version on my system Vista Ultimate X64, every time I run setup.exe that extracted on my desktop it load for few seconds, loading and then it close with no reason.
There's no error code or any message after it close. and I'm also pretty sure that my system met recommended requirements. I'll upload dxdiag anyway.
I just were on my way to buy this product but I said ill try it as long as there a trial version, thanks to "trial versions" idea that adobe presents to us.
Anyway, what is my problem, what's wrong?

I have to agree with Aanarav but I haven't suffered the same USB audio problem. My Rode mic works fine.
I've loaded CS3 Production Premium on Vista x64 and suffered no ill effects at all. My projects are longform (documentary) and the greatest benefit so far is the drastically reduced rendering times (mind you that's a quad core with 8Gb of memory.) Apart from the Adobe suite I can run GPU based programs like ProDad's Vitascene and many others concurrently without affecting processing speed all that much. For the first time I can actually run Prem Pro and Avid liquid at the same time (not too well mind you) and that's a feat.
As to all the "questions" Vista may ask the solution is simple - turn them off.
There's a lot of rumours about "lack" of drivers but this is changing daily and I don't have one piece of hardware/software from XP that can't run on Vista x64 including my 14 year old HP Laserjet 6p printer. The only hardware I needed to replace was my Lide30 Canon scanner (2 years old).
Oh! the nVidia x64 bit video drivers are a treat.
Vista x64 - faster than a speeding bullet (if you have a half decent machine)

  • Dreamweaver CS3 trial question

First and only to make sure I don't come out looking totally
stupid, is the Dreamweaver CS3 compatible with Vista?
If so, why can I NOT use it? I click the I want to try for 30
days and it gives me an error.
I also tried the Photoshop CS3 trial a few months ago and it
did the same thing and nothing I did could bring it up so I
    uninstalled it.
    what the hell?
    Thanks
    George

I don't even have Vista and I'm getting the same problem. I
have Windows XP Home Edition and I recently rebooted my PC yet
before the reboot all Adobe products had always worked fine. Now I
just get an error message saying 'A problem was encountered while
trying to load the trial period for Adobe CS3' and then tries to
force me to enter a serial code which I don't have. Is there no fix
because I know that plenty of others are having the same
    problem.

  • Tecra S10-106 - 3G driver for Vista Ultimate 64bit

    Hello,
I am owner of a Toshiba Tecra S10-106. Due to the fact that Vista Ultimate 64bit is much faster as Vista business 32bit, I would like to use Vista ultimate 64bit as operating system, but I can't find the 3G driver for Vista 64bit. All drivers can be downloaded from USA in english and can be used in german, only the 3G driver is missing. Can somebody else send me a download link or tell me where I can find a suitable driver for Vista 66bit?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
To enable the card you will also need to install the 3G RF Power control utility which is here at http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-files2/0/3grf-en-20090217134719.zip.
That is only half the story as I think you also need to install the Value Added Package here http://support1.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-files2/0/vap-en-20090217134137.zip as this then enables the hotkeys to turn on and off the 3G wireless card.
    Hope that helps.

  • Cs3 trial

hi i am new and i am interisted in buying encore cs3 and premiere cs3 and photoshop cs3
    1. i have heard the other versions do not work on vista which is what i have so that is why i need cs3. if any of the ther versions of premiere and encore work on vista please let me know.
    2. i have asked a freind and he said you do not get the mpg encoding with the premiere trial (asuming that is the same for cs3 because he was talking about premiere pro 2) so that does not bother me since it is just a trial.
    3. but what about encore cs3? adobes site does not have a trial for it. when i click on trial it redirects me to the premiere cs3 trial. i know that when buying the full version of premiere cs3 you get encore cs3 and some other program. is the encore cs3 trial included in with the premiere trial?
4 if so what features are disabled in the encore cs3, premiere cs3 trial and disabled in the photoshop cs3 trial.
i want to try the programs out before i decide to buy them to see if i like them. if someone could help would be great.

    > Everything I've read says that Pro3 trial does not have MPEG due to the MainConcept module that Adobe has to pay for, for every install... and Adobe is not going to pay MainConcept for a trial
Same thing for Encore3... except since it is designed to work ONLY with licensed software, there is no trial at all
Don't believe a WORD of it myself.
    There were trials of 1.0, 1.5 & 2.0
Trials of PPro 1.0, 1.5 & 2.0 all had MPEG export disabled then too, yet fully working in Encore.
The *only* change is tha Encore CS3 is NOT a standalone product, so it is completely pointless giving a trial version.
There are NO new DVD features over CS2, so that hasn't changed.

  • Deployment/Installation Guides for IT Professionals Vista Business

Is there any information or guides for IT professionals on the following topics
    - Performing a clean Vista install or removing all trial / third party software from a new Lenovo computer
    - When first turning on a new Lenovo Vista Business Thinkcentre, Is it possible to login as the local administrator straight away. I seem to have to create a new local user, login, enable the administrator account, then delete the other account I just created

Its hard to say what you need, without knowing exactly what your goal is. Are you developing? Deploying? To what OS?
32 bit software needs 32 bit software. Visual Studio is 32 bit, so if you want to use ODT, you need 11g ODAC 32 bit, regardless of whether you're running it on 32 bit or 64 bit OS.
The end product that pops out Visual Studio though, is an exe that will run as 64 bit on a 64 bit OS (assuming you didnt change the "target" in VS from AnyCPU, which is the default), so you'll need 64 bit ODP and client for that. Or, you could change "target" in VS to x86 and the resulting app will run as 32 bit instead, even on a 64 bit OS.
Both 32 bit and 64 bit Oracle ODP / client can be installed on a 64 bit OS.
There currently is no 64 bit bundle of 11g ODAC you can download, but you can get the same functionality (ie, ODP with UDT support, ASP.NET providers, etc) by installing the 11106 x64 client, then patching it to 11107 with the rdbms patch.
There's really no reason not to run the existing app that was compiled with 10g using 11g anyway, and that will happen by default. However, if for whatever reason you want to use 10g instead, you'll need to delete the Policy.Oracle.DataAccess files from the GAC, as they redirect apps looking for older versions to the latest installed.
    Hope it helps,
    Greg
Edited by: gdarling on Feb 10, 2009 9:01 AM
Soooo, in summary, what I'd recommend you install is:
    1) 32 bit 11g odac, which will give you ODT for your developers to use in VS.
    2) 11106 x64 client into a seperate home followed by 11107 rdbms patch onto the 11106 x64 client, which will give you the ability to run odp apps outside VS.
    3) If you're deploying to machines that only have a 10g client, then you'll need a 10g ODP home as well to compile with, as older clients cant use newer apps like that. For more info see the [ODT FAQ|http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/dotnet/col/odt_faq.html#olderodpnet]
