DW CS4 properties display tabs cut off

My Dreamweaver CS4 seems to work OK, but the bottom of the
screen where the properties are located has a stripe through it and
only 1/2 of the boxes are visible and some are not at all.
View
of problem
As you can see the properties boxes are cut in half and
useless. It only does this with the text areas, not images. I have
full access to all properties with images.
Works
with images
Is this an issue with DW or my computer?
I have an ASUS G1 with plenty of ram and hard drive space,
meets all the requirements and Vista Home Premium.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Hi,
Let me start by saying that in the original format, the Spry Menu Bar works extremely well in all browsers.
The problems start when budding web designers/developers change the original settings and ruin the delicately composed original.
Adobe's Spry team has actually made it quite easy to change colours, fonts and borders by allocating a section that is titled as follows:
DESIGN INFORMATION: describes color scheme, borders, fonts
There is no need to venture outside of this section to apply the required rules.
I had a look at your modified style sheet and found too many changes detrimental to the functioning of the menu.
My advice:
Reinstall the original stylesheet
Create a new style sheet called myMenuStyle.css or similar and load that after the original stylesheet
Place you style rules in myMenuStyle.css as follows
ul.MenuBarHorizontal a {
background-color: #693;
  color: #FFF;
checking the browsers after each step
The above will allow you to check and keep the changes under control.
I hope this helps.

EPM 2013 Report is displayed as cut off and shows less than half the width of the report in IE 10 and IE 9.  This issue occurs for some users only.I tried the same url in google chrome and is working fine.
    Can you please help.
    Please find the attached screenshot.

    Hi BJ1986,
According to your description, I think this issue is caused by the IE browser that runs the report. To trouble shoot this issue, I suggest that we can try to clear internet temporary files, cookies and others in IE browser. And also add this site
as a trusted site in IE browser to check this issue again.
If this issue is still existed, it can also be occurred due to the setting or third party add-ons of Internet Explorer (IE). In this scenario, you can try to run IE in compatibility mode to check the issue again. Or I suggest that you can refer to the
steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
    Click Tools -> Internet options.
Switch to the Security tab, click Local intranet, and then select Default level.
Switch to the Advanced tab, and click Restore advanced settings.
Temporarily disable third party add-ons. For detailed steps, please see the link below:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/internet-explorer/manage-add-ons#ie
    Hope this helps.

  • Tab Order under Control Properties - Display Tab not working

At present I'm trying to order a couple of Input-Fields and Checkboxes for the Tab-Key. Therefor I tried to use the "Tab Order" Property in the Control Properties - Display Tab - Section: Layout - Tab Order.
In the SAP Library this property is described that way:
When user tabs through the controls of the component in runtime, the number indicating what place this control has in the tab order. Note that -1 removes the control from the tab order entirely and 0 indicates that it is highlighted according to its appearance in the component
    Source: [Help.sap|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/42/c2ba7f545e3116e10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm]
The problem now is that VC is completely ignoring this property and just using the tab order in the way the (Input-) fields where created.
At present I don't see any opportunity to give my "Form view" any logical tab order.
Is there any workaround? Is it a bug? Is there something I'm doing wrong?
Thanks for your help in advance.

    Hi,
It seems that this tab order works only for few of the controls like pushbutton, radio button, checkbox, toggle button...
i too tried this in my model but it was not working for the input fields of other types.
regarding -1 -2 ... these values work normally as per their values here -1 -2 order functions just like 2 1.
    hope this helps you.
    Regards,
    Rk.

  • While using my imac the display just cuts off whats causing this

while using my imac the display just cuts off but the machine is still on and I have to push the power button a couple of times fir it to cut back on whats causing this?

    Hi keithfromcapitol heights,
It sounds as if your iMac is going to sleep unexpectedly. Is this during use or after it has been left alone for a while (which can be normal if it is set that way?) If during use, I would suggest that you reset your System Management Controller, using the steps in this article -

  • I connected my Macbook Pro 2012 to a 1080p monitor, and the display is cut off at the top?

    Hello,
I have just connected my Macbook Pro to a 1080p 23' LG monitor using a Displayport to VGI adapter. However, when I use the 1080p setting, it cuts off a little bit of the top bar. When I switch to lower resolutions, it works just fine. I would rather use it at 1080p, though. Is there a way to fix this?
    Thanks,
    HiTryx

You may need a display adaptor but can otherwise use a non-Apple monitor.

  • Tabs cutting off duplicate page title prefix

I'm not sure if this issue is new with Safari 4, as I didn't use Safari 3 much, but I have noticed that if there are two tabs open with similar titles - that is, the titles have the same prefix - Safari cuts off the duplicate prefix from both tabs. While this is useful some of the time, it is pretty annoying most of the time. Is there any way to turn this behavior off?

  • The right-click link menu in Firefox 29.0.1 on Mac OSX 10.9.3 does not fully display options (cuts off text)

When I right click on a link, the usual menu I used to get in older versions of firefox still shows up. However, it shows up in a box that's much, much smaller than the size of the box in previous versions. The text gets cut off and while I can scroll up and down, I can't scroll left to right to read the text of the option. Actually, I've noticed that this happens with most right click menus now.
For example, if I right-click on a link, I get:
    Open Li...
    Open Li...
    Open Li...
(down facing arrow to hover over to see the rest of the options)
All of the system and Firefox fontsize, menu size etc. are at their default. I haven't changed anything.

You can check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.
    See "Creating a profile":
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Profile_issues
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem

  • CS4: Publish Settings window cut off

When I bring up Publish Settings, the window the comes up is
cut off on my MacBook. I can't grab it and move it down into the
center of the screen since the top of it is out of reach. Probably
easier to just check out the screen grab:
    http://hansen-photo.com/cutoff.png
Any idea how I can fix this?
    Thanks

Okay, I think this is officially a bug. I temporarily
installed Mercury Mover so that I could reposition the Publish
Settings window. Problem solved. Except that that next time I
brought up the Publish Settings, it was back in the same old
position with the top cut off.
New question: How do I report a bug to Adobe?

  • Flash display is cut off -  how can I correct this?

Hi, everyone.  Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.   I haven't always had the problem, but now that I do -   I can't seem to get rid of it!  (And no, I don't remember what I did before this started)
When I attempt to load a flash game (such as webkinz), the window cannot be resized and the flash picture/video is displayed in a box - -  but the video is larger thant he box, which results in losing a lot of the image/video that should be viewable.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.  Thanks for your time!

when i right-click with my mouse, i see an option for "Zoom In".
there's also a checkmark next to "Show All".
maybe try to click on "Show All" or "Zoom Out".

  • HDMI display to LG 42" TV is partially cut off

When I connect my Lenovo G500 windows 8.1 laptop to my TV the display is cut off on the edges, I've tried changing my screen resolution and that didn't work, does anyone know of fixes for this problem?

Hi Chasea12, welcome to the forum.
If you have the Intel HD Graphics, you can scale the image for your external TV. Make sure the TV is connected, and launch the Intel HD app. Choose the TV under Select Display. Then under the Basic Display Setting > Scaling, click the Customise Aspect Ratio, and adjust on the left hand side.
You also have an option, under the advanced  tab, to change the aspect ratio from 4:3, to 16:9.
    After changing, apply, and exit.

  • Black bands cut off full projection with DVI adapter

I used my DVI adapter for the first time today to connect my MacBook Pro (17") to a projector. I selected video mirroring from my System Preferences and ran a PowerPoint (for Mac) presentation in slide show mode.
The projector displayed the presentation but black bands appeard on my laptop display, which cut off some of the left and right side of the projected PowerPoint presentation.
Anyone know how I get rid of the black bands and get the full image from my laptop display projected?
(FYI, I use PowerPoint instead of Keynote because it's easier for my clients. I know, I know, that's sad.)

How are you actually connected to the TV?  Does it have HDMI?  Most non-widescreen TVs would not.
I would suspect a converter is either not outputting properly, your TV not interpreting the signal properly or you have some form of Zoom setting enabled on the TV.
How does your TV handle widescreen from say cable or terrestrial TV sources ?
Unfortunately AppleTV is not designed to be used with non-widescreen TVs so there's no setting on AppleTV to tweak.

  • Why does Large text in a Form get cut off at the top when I save it as a PDF

Hi. I've created a form in Acrobat with 2 text fields. I set the size to 40pt and 30pts using Helvetica. When I fill out the form and save-as a PDF the text displays as cut off at the top.
Here's what I've tried so far:
Making the text fields MUCH larger than the font.
Changing fonts. I've tried Helvetica, Verdana, Arial
    Selecting Multi-line
Does anyone know how I can keep it from cutting off? The only solution I've been able to find thus far is reducing the font size significantly, which is not an option.
    THANKS!

I'm using Acrbat Pro version 10.1.4
The text looks perfect in Acrobat. I'm choosing File > Save As from Acrobat and then when I open it with Preview or Reader it cut's off the text.
    Thanks for your help.

  • MonthCalendar window cut off on RHS

The MonthCalendar .net control display is cut off on the RHS. I'm using LV9 on Window 7 32bit. I've tried resizing the control but it reverts to the default when the vi is run. I also tried changing the size from property node without success. This problem is repeatable on multiple systems. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Does anyone have a solution?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I am having the same problem with the .Net MonthCalendar control in LV 2010 (32-bit) and Windows 2007 (Professional 64-bit, don't ask why I didn't install the 64-bit LabVIEW). The Friday and Saturday columns are being cut-off when the control is dropped, and during run-time. The auto-size property is disabled by default. I do not see this problem on my LV 2010 installation on Windows XP
     dropping control
      after resizing
         auto-size disabled
running (no Friday and Saturday anymore)

  • Boxes cut off on the Properties Tab

    Greetings,
I don't know how to describe this, but I will do my best. The
problem has nothing to do with any files I am working, but the UI
of the program. At the bottom of the ptogram is the Properties Box
that shows Format, Class, text properties and below that ID, Link
    and Target.
The problem is the bottom row is cut off. I can only see the
topw 3/4 of ID, Link, and Target.
Anyone with this problem? It's hard to set a target when I
can't read what is in the box! How can I fix this?

I believe that this problem affects only Dreamweaver CS4.
    From what I
understand, previous versions of Dreamweaver displayed
    correctly with
the higher DPI. I suggest that you report this as a bug using
    the
    official form at
    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform.
    This is a
serious accessibility issue that Adobe should correct as soon
    as possible.
