DW CS5 allow visual design (drap and drop?)
Does DW have a feature to allow one to visually design by dragging objects onto the form? For example, there are visual elements of buttons and lists, table that I just click and drag onto the form? if so, what is the process/steps to get that turned on or to see those features? Thanks.

What I would like to do since I am not so skilled with HTML/CSS is to use Fireworks to layout webpages visually by dropping those components onto form. I would do better by visually designing a look and feel. Once I have done that in Fireworks, does that export into HTML/CSS so that it can be worked with in Dreamweaver for fine tuning?
To further expand what I am wanting to do is that years ago I had used Adobe GoLive that allowed me to just drag and drop html components (buttons, text boxes, lists, images, etc) right onto form. How can I do that in Dreamweaver? Maybe Fireworks isn't the right program to use. I guess I am asking to what happened to that type of features of drag&drop that was in the Adobe GoLive product?

I don't know what it is called (let me know the term if you know) but I would like to learn how to design a web page that allows the visitor to move things around to custom design something -- ie. drag and drop images in the website. My wife designs jewelry and I have seen some sites that allow visitors to drag and drop beads onto a bracelet to design their own bracelet.
Any help is appreciated.I have no idea what you're talking about. Please ask real technical questions instead of generalized and visualized questions.
Seen the technical level of your questions as far, I highly recommend to stop immediately with that visual editor and start writing code yourself. Don't brainlessly drag'n'drop as long as you don't understand at all what happens behind the scenes. You would only get yourself in deeper trouble after all. -
[Solved] Dophin 4.8 doesn't drap and drop to remote locations
I think I've found a really really minor bug in Dolphin: When I try to drap and drop a file from one tab/window of Dolphin locally, it always works and presents the expected dialogue to decide whether I want to move, copy etc. But when the source is local and the target remote (namely, a samba computer) it doesn't. The reverse (remote to local) works. Has anyone noticed it before? Can anyone reproduce it?

I bought a 5th Gen Touch. I use iTunes 12 on my two computers. I first connected the Touch to my desktop and it allows me to drag and drop mp3 files from my old Classic, which is backed up to a directory. Unfortunately, that computer has gone down before I got a chance to fill the Touch. I have the files on another computer but when I connect the Touch to it, it doesn't allow me to drag and drop the files. I have iCloud set on both systems and I have manual management check marked. I'm not understanding why it allows drag and drop on one PC and not the other when they are both set the same way. My question? What do I need to do to be able to drag and drop in iTunes 12? I didn't do anything special on the computer that allows it so I am at a loss.

Certain Numbers templets allow you to drag and drop contacts to populate cell data, how can I create that functionality in my own tables?
If you haven't come across the workarounds thread you may find helpful tips there on this and other ways to work with Numbers 3.
ronniefromcalifornia discovered how to bring contacts into Numbers 3. As described in this post:

Select all the cards you want
Copy
In Numbers, in a table, select cell A1
Paste
Boom. Works great. Even brought in the pictures. Cool."
So instead of drag and drop, just select in Contacts, copy, and paste into Numbers

It appears that iTunes 11 does not allow for the "dragging" and "dropping" of music from a library onto a manually managed device.. is that true? I am trying to drag a playlist onto my iPhone. I've done it many times before on previous versions of iTunes but now that the menu is up in the heading, I can't drag the playlist onto the icon for my iPhone.

No.
Sync you are not syncing, the ONLY way to get items onto a manually managed device is to drag and drop.
However, I feel a much simpler way is to create a playlist and add/remove songs from this playlist and autosync this playlist (or multiple playlists). I use about 6 or 7 playlists

NTFS is your problem.
iPhoto needs to have the Library sitting on disk formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Users with the Library sitting on disks otherwise formatted regularly report issues including, but not limited to, importing, exporting, saving edits and sharing the photos.

I have the latest version of iTunes from the Apple site and my tracks have been downloaded from the net into MP4's in one file.Now,if I try and 'DND' into any of the music folders nothing happens....EXCEPT when I hover he cursor over 'iTunes DJ'....when released the tracks can now be found in 'Recently Added' folder,and can be played.

Doesn't matter. There's no standard way for D&D on Linux, no single API.
Every application has its own mechanism which may or may not be compatible with any other.
Gnome and KDE groups are doing some work to provide a common standard but as you know the Linux zealots are completely opposed to anyone telling them what to do (such as creating standards) and won't in general follow them. -
ITunes 11.1 and iOS 7.0.3 won't allow me to drag-and-drop videos onto my iPad?
I finally updated my iPad 2 (16 GB; Wi-Fi) with the new iOS 7 update (7.0.3), and now it won't let me drag-and-drop items from my iTunes library anymore. It starts to, it seems. iTunes says "Preparing to sync" and then that just disappears, and nothing else happens.
Just the other night, I drag-and-dropped some songs onto my iPad (since my iPhone wasn't allowing me to, so I added them to my iPad instead; I'm getting a new iPod touch soon anyways, so this is only temporary), and it worked just fine. This was before I updated my iOS 7 (iTunes was already at 11.1).

Checked my storage space; I have plenty for these six videos I want to add on here...
I have had this iPad set on "manually manage" since I bought it. It has never known any different. I've manually synced movies from my old MacBook (backlight dead, and it's not worth the money I'd have to pay to replace it, since this is the second-to-last MacBook Apple made, so it isn't worth much anymore; and this MacBook still has Mac OSX 10.5, so iTunes 11 won't even work with it, so I haven't synced anything from it in MONTHS...), and to my last PC laptop (charging port is broken, so it won't charge even though it works fine when the battery is full; unfortunately, I haven't gotten around to ordering the new part yet). I've only added three songs from this "new PC" that I'm borrowing. To my knowledge, it doesn't matter how many different libraries you "sync" to a "manually managed" device, right? Besides, I just synced music from this third library last week!!
What I just don't understand is why it let me the other day, and now it won't.
And before I updated tonight, my PC didn't even recognize my iPad. So I pretty much HAD to install that iOS 7 update that had been in my Settings since it came out.
What is going on? I'm kind of sick of this...the only option it seems is to just completely sync to this one computer, but I'll lose pretty much everything except the few songs I put on here, and my videos. I have pictures and apps and notes/documents that I DO NOT want to lose.

Firefox does not allow me to drag and drop files on FTP site anymore. It used to work before.
Hi. I have a Linux FTP server at a client's office. They used to use IE and I moved them to firefox. They could at one stage, drag and drop (upload) files and documents using only firefox and not a third party software. Somehow this stop working. Is there any setting in firefox that can be changed in order to allow drag and drop without using a third party software? This client is very fussy and does not want to use third party software, as the drag and drop worked before. This is their argument.
1- of course i know i have to accept the change, i just don't recall specifically whether or not iPhoto itself was one of the recent updates i accepted. lol
2-this is not true - a few years back, it was a 2 step process. Then it changed with one of the upgrades, and i have been able (as long as i selected 4x3 *book* as opposed to 4x3 *dvd*) to drag between orientations for the past few years - at LEAST 2 years, maybe as many as 4 (I lose track). I remember thinking at the time what a wonderful upgrade that was because it did away with all that needless clicking. Now all of a sudden this month, it has been switched off - am I the only one who has noticed this?
I have been creating an annual 'family photo album' book via iPhoto for several years now, and i use the 4x3 book sizing specifically for that reason, so I've got lots of experience using this setting. I *know* it used to work the other way. -
My PC has all of my iTunes and it recognizes my iPhone 4 device but I cannot drag and drop the songs. How do I copy the songs to my new iPhone without having to re-purchase everything? Unfortunately, It appears I no longer have iTunes Music Library.xml on my PC.
My husband and I are using the same iTunes account on all mac & pc computers, but the libraries are different on each machine. We always manually manage our music (no auto sync). iTunes is up to date on the PCs. My husband uses our joint iTunes account on his pc, but once again, has a different collection in his library from those on the other machines. He can't load any music from his PC to his iphone 4. I can load music from my mac library to my iphone 4s, but cannot load from my pc library to my iphone 4s. How can I switch my main library that it syncs with from the mac to the pc?
