DW CS5 won't recognize my sites (?)

Just got my new iMac, transferred over all my data, reloaded my Adode Design Ste CS5, went to load a clients website files which I created on my old iMac and my new install won't load my files in the 'local view'. When I go to 'manage sites', all my websites (many) are there but how do I get DW to load the files from the drop down list. I just seem to go in circles, DW takes me to a menu to manage sites, I select manage, takes me to another window, select 'done' and I'm back to the 'local view' without my web files...dunno!
Any suggestions?

Is the local site info pointing to the correct file folder on your hard drive?
Did you try closing DW and restarting?

CS5 won't recognize tablet

I have a Wacom Bamboo tablet, which I once used with Photoshop Elements 5 in Windows XP. It worked perfectly with it. Now I have CS5 and Windows 7, and my tablet doesn't work in it (in CS5, it works fine in Windows 7). In fact, the only tablet option that wasn't greyed out was opacity, and even with that selected, nothing happened. My tablet pen has an eraser which doesn't work within CS5--it simply functions has another pen. Am I forgetting to do something with the settings, or is it something else? I'd appreciate any assistance.

Just start with verifying the Apple Mobile Device Support is up and working, Just follow the steps here:

After Stopping it and Restarting and it is still not reconizing your device Then start uninstalling
Start with: Itunes, Quicktime, Bonjour, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device.
I had an issue uninstalling Apple Software Update, and was unable to get it off my computer.
But after all that download and reinstall itunes.
After doing all that i was able to get mine to show up in itunes

Cs5 Bridge won't recognize Nikon raw file (NRW) from Coolpix P340.

I want to upload my RAW (NRW) files from my Nikon Coolpix P340 but Bridge CS5 doesn't recognize these as readable. Is there an update available from either adobe or Nikon that anyone is aware of? Thanks.

I know have a mobile me account and so my apple id is switched from my email address. i am trying to update my apps but it won't let me as it won't recognize my new 'ID'. how can i fix this on my iphone?

I have mobile me account now and so my apple id is switched from my email address to my mobile me address. Since I have made this change I can't update my apps. Everytime I try to sign in it won't recognize the switch. I have updated all the proper information on my iphone, however, when updating apps it still shows my apple id as my email address and not the mobile me account address. I am not sure what else to do??? I have even sync'd my iphone and tried to do it through my pc, however, it says that it can't update (nothing to update). I have ten updates sitting on my iphone apps...What to do...what to do? Very confused.

Where are you trying to log in? You should be able to change your ID at http://appleid.apple.com - can you log in there?
Before you change your ID you should log out of the iTunes Store and on any devices which are logged into iCloud. Then once you've changed it you can log back in with the new ID. (Your iCloud synced data will disappear from the device when you do this but will reappear when you sign back in - give it time).
If you are unable to sign into http://appleid.apple.com you will need to contact Support. Go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com . ITunes won't recognize iPod - Extreme frustration!

So iTunes won't recognize my new IPod Video. It works fine with my kids' shuffle, mini and 4th gen but when I connect my new iPod I just get a window with: "iTunes cannot read the contents of the ipod "IPOD". Use the IPOD Software Updater Application to restore the IPOD to factory settings"
I've been trying since Christmas to get this thing working. I've tried the five R's, I've tried every combination of everything suggested on the Apple site, (including posts here) I've tried stuff from other apple users sites. No joy. I just got off the phone with the help rep from Apple. He talked me through the MSCONFIG stuff, no joy still. He told me to go to depot.info.apple.com/ipod and fill out the forms and they'd send me a package to put my iPod in to send them so they could fix it. It's personalized so it'll take an extra 3 weeks to fix. Needless to say, I'm very frustrated and extremely disapointed.

My computer will charge my iPhone, but won't recognize or sync it?

My iPhone 4S was working perfectly fine, but now my laptop suddenly won't recognize it! This all started after I bought a new charger for my laptop. My other one quit working, so I bought a replacement, and now I'm having this problem. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it, but I figured I would mention it.
Anyways, when I plug it in, it will charge, but it won't show up in My Computer or in iTunes. I know it's not the cable or the phone itself, because other computers will recognize it. I have tried pretty much everything. I've uninstalled iTunes and then reinstalled the latest version, I've gone through all of the troubleshooting things on the Apple support site. I've tried different cables and different USB ports also. One thing I've noticed is that when I go to my Device Manager, it doesn't even look like my iPhone is plugged in. It won't show up anywhere. I have no idea what to do next. Any ideas?

What happens when you have your computer well charged, but unplug your computer and let it run on battery power?

ITunes won't recognize my iPhone

I have an original iPhone which has not yet been activated. It's been sitting around for some time, never used. Before I activate it, I wanted to bring the software current. I connected to iTunes and checked for updates. There was some kind of software or firmware recommended (was it 2.2.1...or something like that?) and I went through the install procedure. Everything completed, but now iTunes won't recognize my phone. I get a "can't connect, unknown error, OxE8000001" message.
I did have a web browser open and clicked on a few sites while iTunes was running the upgrade. I don't know if that interrupted it and damaged the upgrade or if the problem is something entirely different.
Can anyone get my iTunes and my iPhone talking again?
Please use clear instructions in responding. I don't know any iPhone terms or procedures. I'm brand new to the thing.

Hi John,
The 0xE8000001 message is most likely related to a USB connection issues. This article: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1286 provides general tips that may resolve the issue.
The iPhone does require USB2, as shown here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1323 and on the box.
Try the tips in the first article I linked. If they don't work you will have to activate/update/restore the iPhone from another computer. You may still be able to sync data to the iPhone from that computer.

does the iO 26 require a driver? check the Alesis web site to make sure you have the latest, if it does.
if not, the first suspect would be the cable, try another FW cable.
less likely is one of the FW ports, if you have another FW device you might see if it works on the Mac, for the interface you might need to visit a music store to test it

To use Image Capture you need an ICA driver for your scanner. Checking the Fujitsu web site for drivers for the iX500 I only see a ScanSnap manager for OS X. No mention of an ICA driver. So you may need to contact your local Fujitsu support.

Itunes 8.2.1 won't recognize my 3.0 iPhone

Version 8.2.1 is buggy. I am not the only user who is finding that this version of iTunes no longer recognizes my 3.0 iPhone. Occasionally it won't recognize my iPod Classic until I restart my iMac (circa 2007). My iPhone software is up to date (version 8.0.4 released on 06/30/2009).
I have:
Deleted iTunes 8.2.1
Shut off iTunes helper.

I have deleted AppleMobileDevice.kext and
I have deleted AppleMobileDeviceSupport.pkg
I have emptied the trash
Then restarted the iMac
Then reinstalled iTunes 8.2.1

Apple, where can I get a copy of iTunes 8.2.0. Everything worked with that one.

Thank you, Matt. Actually I did turn up that site in my initial search. Thing is the old itune versions are for Windows and Vista. I'm on an iMac. Have not found an old version for OSX.
Anyhow, I did solve my problem. I had connected to the iMac through a USB hub. When I connected the iPhone and iPod classic directly to the iMac itself, itunes recognized the devices. Oddly, it did not detect them on the more modern USB cable that came with the iPhone 3.0, but with an older, larger cable that came with the iPod classic. Go figure.
The recent software update for the iPhone, supposedly to fix an issue with texting, has returned both iPhone and iPod to their former state and I am able again to connect through a hub (after a couple of iMac restarts -- what else in new!)
