DW isn't letting me upload files

I've been making my own website for years and this is the
first time i've ever had this problem.
The 'connect' button that is sopposed to enable you to upload
files individually is not, well, THERE.
ok, well it's there, but it doesn't work. it might as well
not be there.
i know it IS connected because my files that are already
uploaded are visible. i can edit them and such, but then i can not
re-upload them. WHY is this happening? it's driving me crazy. i've
been trying to figure it out for about 3 hours now and i've
accomplished nothing. i need help, i'm sure it's probably the most
stupid obvious answer but i can not figure it out. please help me!

Just so we're clear on terms here:
When you create a new remote site definition, in the Remote Info section (Site > New Site > Remote Info), you have five fields to complete
1. Access: FTP
2. FTP Host:
3. Host directory:
4. Login:
5. Password:
Assuming that
Access
FTP Host
Login, and
Password
are correctly completed, what have you entered into the Host directory field?
The Host directory field tells Dreamweaver to tell the server which directory on the server (there are many) contains the website files.
Should be whatever your webhost gave you
e.g. (leave it blank) or html or public_html or web or something else.

Whether it is gmail, Facebook, or more specifically this site (http://www.carnivalentertainment.com/index.htm), Firefox won't let me upload any type of file. Of course, if the Web site offers a standard uploader then I have a better chance of having a successful upload, but if it is not offered, then I am basically out of luck.

Documents in the Cloud isn't downloading and uploading files

Hello!
I'm with a very annoying bug on my iCloud, actually, in Documents in the Cloud.
The problem is so strange that's very hard to explain that in words. But let's give it a try: iCloud isn't uploading my files to the cloud at all. I already did everything like: enable/disable iCloud, delete my iWork apps and install it all again, delete all my iWork apps data from iCloud... but really NOTHING solves this. I even recorded a little video, it's more simple to show you what's happening here:

Do anyone know what's happening and how to solve this? I called the brazilian AppleCare and the guys doesn't know what's happening too :/

I tried viewing the video on my computer, it turns out it's a flash video and I was unable to watch it on my iPod.
The problem with your documents are that they have become corrupt, you should delete them and start again. Of interest I note that you are not allowing the documents to fully upload before trying to open them on another device, once you have deleted all the documents from iCloud, I suggest leaving them until uploaded before trying to open them again.

Bonjour isn't letting me transfer files

I'm currently at work, and I'm just trying to send my coworker a file through iChat, with a Bonjour account, and it keeps failing. I am somehow still able to do screen sharing with her AND she is able to send files to my boss, who is in another room. UPnP is enabled, no one has any firewalls up. I just can't seem to figure this out. It seems that they are the only two computers who can send each other files. If someone could please help, that would be so great!

Hi,
If in iChat > Preferences > Alerts you have the AppleScript set on File Transfers to Auto Accept then reset them on each computer.
Have you tried sending them in different ways ?
Dropping on a Buddy with No Chat open.
Dropping in a Chat (Text Field) and sending with no accompanying text.
Same with text.
From the Buddies Menu with Text Chat open
Right Click a Buddy (same menu)
Dragging File over a Video Chat.
Try adding a Public DNS server such as Google's 8.8.8.8 in to the System Preferences > Network > Advanced Button > DNS tab
Repeat for other computers.

How to classify uploaded files

Hello everyone,
We have a client's request. Our client needs to classify the uploaded files in the transaction (bid invitation, contrat, bid).
In the Documents tab of each transaction, we can see a column named category (you can see the attached file file_categories.doc). Is there any option to create different categories and assign those categories when the user uploads a file??

I want to allow people who visit my website to be able to upload files to my site.
I know how to make the form with the “browse” button in DW but what exactly do I do after that?
Can anyone instruct me which script I need to have, where to put them, on my server and what else to do for the upload process to succeed?

Uploading files containing swedish letter åäö gets ecoding corrupted in firefox for mac. Same features works fine in all other browsers. Is this a bug in firefox for mac?

When uploading a file containing swedish letter å, ä or ö the file name is gets corupted in the filename. There are som encoding issues just for the mac version, since the file name is uploaded correctly in all other browsers on mac and all browsers in windows.

What form does this corruption take? According to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=695995 the difference is decomposed vs precomposed Unicode forms, but that should not actually affect any Unicode-complian software. If there's a site that shows a problem here, can you point me to it?

Premiere Elements 11 won't let me upload large youTube file?

I have a macbook pro, running OS X (version 10.8.5) w/ 8G. of memory and a 1TB HD. The video I'm trying to upload from elements is 1hr and 7 min and yes, I know the default is 15 min, but I noticed some vid's on youtube almost 2hrs or more. So I went to youtube and discovered you have to authorize your account in order to upload larger files. Did that successfully but elements 11 still will not let me upload my video? I keep getting the error message that I have exceeded the max upload limit for youtube. Is that a default message that can't be change? At the present, I'm saving my video to a file on my mac and will try to upload it to youtube directly w/out using premiere. My question, is there a way to bypass this default setting or will I only be able to upload a 15 min video? I tried all settings to upload it from premeire, from the youtube flash video (lowest setting) to the 1080p HD setting. Stil, it keeps telling me it's too big.

Just in case mention...this is not Adobe. Rather user to user forum. The Premiere Elements' built in YouTube feature limit has never gone over 15 minutes. So, I see no rationale in you moving to any other version to gain an extended time advantage for the Premiere Elements feature. When you go to set up the YouTube feature in Premiere Elements, you see the limits posted and the setup fails if you use an extended time account previously setup at YouTube.
The situation has been such for years. And, it is my understanding that, even at YouTube web site, the limit is 15 minutes unless you have an extended time account there.
If you want to address this matter to Adobe, you could file one of those Adobe Feature Request Bug Report Forum.

Why Won't ICloud let me upload ANY files to Iwork section?

Ok so like many others, When I try to upload a file to Icloud (A pages File) I ALWAYS get an error "There was a problem uploading a doument. Please try again." No matter how many times I try, I get this error. What also ***** is it won't give me the cog in the upper right hand corner with the options to upload. My only choice is to drag and drop, which gives me the error. I created this account on an IOS5 Device (My friends, because I don't have one, I have a mac but can't enable the ICloud specifically on this mac). I do not plan to use ICloud to transfer between IOS devices and computer, only between computer and computer and store all my misc. pages files there. However, I should still be able to upload my IWord 09' documents, presentations, ect. When I go to the Iwork page, it encourages me to buy the programs, even though I already have them. Please can anyone tell me how to get it to upload my pages and keynote files?

I have it on my mac, but the one that doesn't let me setup icloud on it. So basically I need to enable the icloud on a computer or device that has pages, then it will let me upload pages anywhere? (thats kind of bull but I guess if it works). The only problem is my mac that is 10.7.5 is a laptop I'm provided with and for some reason the administrators decided to block the use of Icloud on it (The system prefrences not the website). It wont let me upload onto ipod also when i play a music file....

It will not let me upload songs onto my Ipod. It worked a lil bit ago. But now i cannot. I looked into forums and found NO help. The closest i seen was to reinstall Itunes. So i did. But alas now i still cannot upload. Also, on certain songs (when it did work) I found that when i wud played them it wud work yet when i went to fast forward to where i was [bcus this was a Audio Book] It went to the designated TIME but it played as if it was at the beginning of the book. Im getting frustrated now that i cannot upload anything onto my Ipod. Also that i couldn't fast forward properly. And some songs don't even go into Itunes no more. Please help. Thank you.

It is on auto sync. When i plug it in it says done loading after 2 seconds. but nothing is on it. When i go to add songs to my library NOTHING happens. And i recently RE-downloaded the newest itunes program. No error messages come up. It doesnt freeze or anything like the others on here ive seen have had happen.

Adobe Send - Problem with uploading files. When is this going to get fixed?

When is the Adobe Send problem with uploading files going to get fixed. Similar to others - I have tried and tried to make Adobe Send work and get an error. I have tried to upload the file and it looks like it uploads and then - it is nowhere to be found.
I then go to Adobe Send Now and it works fine.

The problem is the same as described in other similar threads.
I have a 57 MB PowerPoint file I am trying to send using Adobe Send. I go through the normal steps to identify the file and select recipients and then send the file. After the file completes the upload - an error saying there was a problem comes up and the file is not uploaded.
I have tried to upload the file to the site with similar results - error and the file doesn't go.
I can go to the old SendNow site and it works flawlessly.
If I need to get screenshots - let me know. There are several other threads describing this same problem. It isn't something new or not heard of before.

KM Repository cannot view or upload files

Hi everyone,
I'm having a strange problem in KM. One of the repositories is mapping the folders and files on the server correctly but when I try to upload a file or view one that is stored, I get an error. When I try to upload a file, I get an access denied error in the portal. When I try to open a file (eg. an Excel spreadsheet), I get a "500 Internal Server error". I'm using an administrative user so I know it isn't a permissions issue. Also, I know that the file server is operating and online. There is another repository that is mapped to the same server that is working just fine.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be going on? Why is it that I can see the files and folder structure but I can't view or upload files? Thanks in advance.

In general if we look "500 Internal Server error" the status code relate to An internal error occurred on the server. This may be because of an application error or configuration problem.
Please check on that side, if you mis any setting or permissions

Upload file to global directory in Dev, Q&A and Prod!

I have an upload application in BSP, that uploads files to for example /usr/sap/BWD/files
this works in Development, but of course this directory is not available in Production, so BSP won't work there.
Isn't it possible to use one global directory?
Right now somebody created for us a directory, that's the same on all 3 systems (Dev, Q, and Production)
this dir is
on Development: DIR_TRANS     /usr/sap/transBW
on Quality: DIR_TRANS     /usr/sap/transBW
on Production: DIR_TRANS     /usr/sap/trans
notice the small difference in path in Production... Is there a way to use the DIR_TRANS instead of the real path?
my application writes data like this:

and then use FM
call function 'FILE_GET_NAME'
