DW wants to update page when clicking outide DW

Here is the scenario...
I am using DW/CS6
I have created a template which has a menu on the page. It links to two other pages in the site - services and Home......
Now, whenever I am working on dreamweaver it keeps asking me to update all files based on this template.
Whenever I click on the desktop outside DW (to browse the internet) it comes up again.
Even if I want to shut the PC down - it asks me to update based on the template.
Have cleared DW cache file - restarted DW - Restarted PC - and am going bald and red in the facce very quickly.
Aiming for the beer in the fridge soon - i'm so frustrated!
PLEASE - I asked this once before ages ago but cannot remember how it got resolved.

When I click on Update it says Done - then as soon as you click OK the update box appears again.
If you click on don't update then you get the box again.
I've got rid of it for now by saving all the pages elsewhere - deleting all the pages and then re-creating each page from the template and then cut and pasting all the information back into each page.
HOWEVER I get this a lot when I work with templates and it's very frustrating.
I would like to understand WHY it happens and if it's something I am doing to create the scenario.
It's by inderstanding it that I can prevent it.

Problem in displaying update page when multiple results table regions.....

Hi,
In Search page, I have 4 Search result table regions.(1.PropertyResultsTable,2.HouseDetailResultsTable,3.WaterDetailsResultsTable,4.ElectricityResultsTable)
In PropertyResultsTable Search result table region when I click the update Icon its showing the Last table region's(i.e ElectricityResultsTable) update page.
Same thing happening for 2.HouseDetailResultsTable,3.WaterDetailsResultsTable also.
If my search page contain only one result table region I can able to update the record successfully.
How to get the correct update page if there is more than one results table and each table has the update icon to update the respective record.
Please suggest.

Mailto link to send the content of the page when clicked.

I want to set up a mailto link that sends the contents of the page to a predefined address when clicked. I want this to work from a webpage viewed on an iPad as well as a desktop computer. If this is possible, how do I do it?

You cannot, but you may be able to send the link to an address, just not the webpage content itself.

Do not get full page when click on bookmarked entry

when click on bookmarked item - only get part of a page not full page? Why? how do I get the full page from clicking on a bookmark?

if it has to be a double click then this can be done with a clientListener that calls a JavaScript function and that you set to the doubleClickEvent type e.g.

Firefox wants to update and when I tell it yes it has a box that says "software update" that comes up and just says at the top Downloading Firefox but below that it continues to say CONNECTING to update server

This has been going on for weeks now. I've left it alone for a long time and when I come back the box still says "connecting to update server" - no evidence it actually updates - and Firefox keeps saying it wants to update - have used firefox for years and never had this problem before and the internet is working just fine.

If you have problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.<br />
You may need to remove the Firefox program folder to do a clean install of the new version.
Do a clean (re-)install:
* Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* Firefox 4.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Do not remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

Redirecting to the Home Page when clicking on close button of the Item in a list

I have a SPD Workflow configured in a site to show a link to the current item view form from the autogenerated mail, so that when a user clicks on the link , it gets redirected to the list item as a Viewform.aspx. on closing t hat the user will be redirected
to the list and shown the allitems.aspc view of the list. But the user now wants to redirect to the Home page of the site. I have created and deployed the SPD WF using Designer 2010 and deployed to the production. But Now I am fearing that to achieve
this requirement do I need to change the entire approach of SPD Workflow? If anyone has pointers please share with me.

No, I said to set the Source parameter of the URL to the home page. You have to do this in order for the browser to know where to send the user upon closing or updating the item. This is how all redirects work in SharePoint. If you go browse
around and click on an item, you will see a Source parameter in the address bar. The URL that comes after "&Source=" is the URL your browser will be sent to after you click "close." This is how SharePoint remembers the context of where you
were. If you don't provide a Source parameter, then it defaults to the list where the item lives. That's what you're currently doing, so you need to add a Source parameter to the URL you provide in the workflow email.
http://sitename/list/DispForm.aspx?ID=[Current item: ID]&Source=http://sitename

Safari loads old page when clicking "Refresh" or "Reload"

Hello Everyone,
I am using the latest version of Safari (4.0.3).
When I am viewing a webpage that contains data that is updated frequently (for example, this page in Apple Forums) and I click on "Reload" current page to view the page newly updated, Safari loads the old page...not a new one.
Anyone having the same problem? Or, perhaps, I have a setting that may need to be changed?

It sounds like your cache isn't being purged, or there's something preventing it from being purged, so try this:
1. Go to Home/Library/Cookies and delete the Cookies.plist file.
2. Go to Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari and delete the contents of that folder.
3. Go to Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Web Page Previews and delete the contents of that folder.
4. If you don't want to use the Top Sites feature, open Terminal and paste in this command:
defaults write com.apple.Safari DebugSnapshotsUpdatePolicy -int 2
5. Go to Home/Library/Caches/Metadata/Safari and delete the contents of that folder.
6. Go to Home/Library/Caches/Safari and delete the contents of that folder.
7. Go to Home/Library/Safari and delete these files (if you have them):
Downloads.plist
History.plist
Form Values
LastSession.plist
WebpageIcons.db
Then Repair Disk Permission, restart Safari and see if the problem continues.

How can I go to other page when click button??

When I click button, the process of this button is be executed, then current page will go to other page.
1.I setup this button's Optional URL Redirect to other page, but process is not be executed.
2.I create a process and a branch(point: on-summit:after process...), not setup button's Optional URL. at this time, the process is be run, but not go to other page.

Do you need the process to do something or do you just want to forward to the next page. In this case you just need the branch. In the configuration you can choose the button that forwards to the next page.
Configuration in the branche:
Target type: Page in Application
Page: The Page you want to redirect to.
On clicked Button: The Button you created on the page which redirects to the next page

when i am in an internet page and want to open a link, sometimes it will open a new window and other times it will take the page that the link is on, and change that page into the new page that I linked on.
If I want to keep that page that contains the link, how do I get a new window to open when I click on the link and keep my orginal page open as well?

Press the Shift, Option, and Command keys while clicking on the link. The exact combination of keys needed varies depending on the settings in the Tabs section of Safari's preferences; you can check this screen to find out the current state without changing any settings.

Flash/Flash Player will not open link to web page when clicked

Hi there, I am testing a FLASH animation ad that has links to a website. When I click on the links, it opens firefox but it doesn't go to the link! I have added the links and the file names in the Adobe Flash Settings Manager, restarted several times, restarted in Safe Mode and it still does not work! I cannot find any information on this. My coworker also tried it and it does not work for him on IE on Windows. HOWEVER, If I have SAFARI open it works fine, and If I drag and drop the .swf file into either browser and then click on the links it goes to the web page. If it helps I am on a MAC using Snow Leopard and I am using Flash CS3.

Go to global security settings.
Click browse for folder, go to your drive root (or the folder where your swf/fla is and select it. You should see that folder get added to the security exception list. Re-test tell me what happens.

Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)

Cannot bring up a page when clicked on within a connected website. what do I do?!

-I go to a trusted site(-library homepage) through my local libraries wifi connection
-Click on a prompt(-my account) within this site

Firefox opens a dialog box when I use the browser, "Checking add-ons for compatibility..." then open the Firefox start page along with my homepage. I do not want the Firefox page when I open the browser. how do I stop this?

Since Firefox updated it checks add-ons every time I open Firefox. The Firefox homepage then opens along with my home page, two tabs. I want the checking to stop. This has not happened before--only with this update.
