DW3 check in/check out error

I am on OS X DW3. using check in check out function. when I
check files back in, DW sets the file's modified date to 1/1/04
12:34 on the local. now the local is not my Mac. the local is a win
server I access.
any idea how I cold get DW set the right date?

If you check for software updates using the App Store in OS X 10.8 and get "NSURLErrorDomain error -1100" the problem may be with your Software Update preferences. This is particularly likely if you were using a custom Apple Software Update server. To solve the problem, quit the App Store, move the following two files (if present) to the trash, restart, and only then rerun App Store updates:
/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist
/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist.lockfile

I was recently trying to upgrade to mountain lion through the app store. I have unreliable Internet from a cable company whom I will not name, but we all know who they are. My Internet dropped while downloading the upgrade. Once I went through the notorious unplug the modem/router and plugged it back in to gain Internet connectivity again, I could not resume. No matter what I did, the app store kept displaying "an error occurred." I am hoping that those with the same issue read this first to save them hours of skimming through the Internet to find a solution. Here are the steps to take:
1. Make sure you have reestablished Internet connection
2. Chances are you got frustrated when you tried to resume/unpause the download and clicked the "X" to the left. If so, select the "Store" drop-down menu from the App Store and select "View My Account." There should be an option to unhide your purchase. You know what to do.
3. There is also an option to reset all warnings for buying and downloading under "View My Account." Do this, click "Done," sign out of the App Store and quit the App Store.
4. Open the Preferences in safari and select Privacy. Select "Remove All Website Data." Just do it.
5. Launch the app store and sign in.
6. Now, if you "Check for Unfinished Downloads" everything works peachy.
I hope this helps. Not much I can do for your Internet connection though.

Then changed it to the US when I moved here, then tried to change it back to india when this issue arose, however, the error still occurs. How can I fix this??

I think a new account may be the easiest way if you don't have an existing subscription or cloud files for which to keep continuity.

Hi,
As far as my knowledge goes, in sales order, if you click on Availability check, the system will certainly does the check and gives the message "Availability Check is carried out", but after that the schedule line is confirmed and you can save the order and proceed further. The check is carried out as we have manually checked, even when the stock is available.

ESS Pay check "Show Overview" Service erroring out

Hi All,
ESS Pay check service is giving error, When executed it displayes pdf form, with buttons to go to next and previous pay stubs. But when I click on show overview, it is giving an error. The same webdynpro code works fine on Sandbox, but not in dev and quality portals. Is there any configuration required in ECC for this? Please suggest any other you might think of causing this issue,

RSA3 Checker---------Time out error.

Dear All,
We have enhanced "2LIS_12_VCITM" Datasource with 5 ZZ Fields and written a User Exit to populate them .But the problem is :
1). When the Number of Datarecord/call = 100
Display Extreme calls = 10
The extractor pulls data fine.
2).When the Number of Datarecord/call = 10000
Dispplay Extreme calls = 1000
RSA3 throws a Time out error after 600 seconds.
It would be great if some one could take time to throw light on this issue..

We are getting an error while updating to one target as The time characteristic consistency check has produced an error""
* Checked the respective PSA data field which is fine. Dates are in correct format.
* RSRV ran for the particular target. It had error but the jobs were successful till yesterday.
* Data from 01.05.2014 is having the problem ( Which I got from the record number in PSA )
NB: We are running on HANA database but the respective target is not yet HANA Optimised

Record Number 2995 is shown in the figures attached.
I have already carried out the deletion and automatic repair mentioned in RSCV061 even before posting this question but of no use ( I have shown that also in the figures attached at the posting time.
Reporting is fine. The problem is while loading the data to the cube. The loading is fine till date 30.04.2014 but from the date 01.05.2014. The record is error while updating.
The cube is partitioned from month 01.2008 to 12.2015.

When the installation throws this error, click on OK and allow it to proceed. It will fail for Database Engine, but the SQL Server service should have
been created. Check the Services console.
If the service is present, perform the following steps:-
1. Go to SQL Server Configuration manager, right click on the SQL Server service, and change the service account (if it is local system, give
it a windows level account, and vice-versa). It might throw a WMI error but you will see the account getting updated anyway. If not, then use the Services console. Change the account for SQL Agent as well.

2. Next, try to start the service. It should come online.
3. However, you will not be able to log in to the SQL Server
4. Now stop the service and start it from the command prompt using -m -c -T3608 parameters.
5. Now try logging in to the server using admin connection from sqlcmd (sqlcmd admin:<server name>\<instance name> ...)
6. Once logged in, use the sp_addsrvrolemember '<domain\username>','sysadmin'.
Also add the builtin/administrators to the sysadmin role
7. Now stop the service from the command prompt and start it from SQL Server configuration manager
You should be able to log in to the server now.

Remove and check cartridge on right error message on 7410 all in one

I recently changed the black ink cartridge in my 7410 all in one printer. After changing cartridge it gave me an error message of " Remove and check cartridge on right". I have tried removing and reinstalling , cleaning connection points with clean damp cloth (water) and still cannot get error message to go away.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Our findings have been HP Printers are very biased against refilled \ recycled cartridges. I own a total of (5)x HP 7310 and HP 7410 printers in my IT Consulting office. These are feature rich MFP’s with an abundant supply of ink available at generously economical prices. On the face of it, it sounds like a good reason to keep a bevy of last gen printers around. EXCEPT the printers work great with the $30-$50 brand new HP brand 96 cartridges from Office Depot or Staples. Unfortunately if you try and buy some recycled cartridges off ebay the Printers detect the recycled\refilled cartridges as a previously depleted HP cartridge that may not be genuine and the units suddenly turn on you. Miraculously the "Remove and check cartridge on right" only manifests itself with non-HP brand cartridges or cartridges that have been refilled. (We have even tried to re-fill out own refreshly depleted cartridges with like results.) Think of it as an HP service reminder conveying you forgot to pay HP their $30-$50 profit on your ink this go round. Remember you need HP Branded ink cartridges (HP = Homogeneously Proprietary). It’s like an intention flaw written into the firmware. Best guess (purely on conjecture) is there is a check in the firmware/drivers for if the cartridges has been previously installed, previously depleted, max install count, and expiration date validation. If it encounters a condition it doesn’t like you get this nondescript error.

The above post is filled with conjecture and speculation, but is not based on fact. The Officejet7410 is not programmed to reject refilled/reman cartridges. It will check cartridges electrically for various things and will reject cartridges that fail. Typical failures would include a cracked printhead (caused by rough treatment - dropping the cartridge even a few inches for example), or open electrical connections caused by debris on the cartridge contacts. Cleaning the cartridge contacts as shown in the document here may resolve the issue in case of poor electrical contacts.
A cartridge that has been previously used in a different printer will likely be marked as empty, but the printer will happily print with a cartridge detected as empty.
The reality is that the quality of refill and reman cartridges are very variable, but generally poor. The study here has a study conducted by a testing facility, here is another study.
My personal experience has been similar. I donated an HP all-in-one to my son's high school years ago. Sometime later I got a call from the teacher complaining that it was not printing properly. I went and took a look and found they had put in a renam color cartridge that was not printing one of the colors*. They tried another cartridge, which also had a problem and then finally the third cartridge worked. I asked why they used renam cartridges and he said they bought these because they were cheaper. I asked if they were 1/3 the cost....
*The color missing had nothing to do with the printer - blotting the bad cartridge on a damp tissue gave only two of the three colors that would normally be present.

OneNote file cannot be synced because Check-in Check-Out or Required Properties are enabled in the SharePoint library

As per my requirement, I have a Document Library that's set to YES for "Require documents to be checked out before they can be edited" and i have created a Document Set inside this Document Library.Document set is configured
to create a OneNote document content type within it. When i am creating a OneNote document I am getting below mentioned Error while trying to sync.
This section cannot be synced because Check-in Check-Out or Required Properties are enabled in the SharePoint library. Disable Check-In Check-Out and Required Properties or move this notebook to a different location. (Error code: 0xE000078E)
Is there any settings that i can do without modifying Document Library Settings.
I just try out the information given on below mentioned U, but No Luck.

Have you looked specifically at the Title field? That's a common offender. It might also be worth activating Content Type management on your library, so you can inspect each of the fields in the content type that's being saved too

Check-in and out freezes Dreamweaver CS3

I am using Dreamweaver CS3 on a PC with Windows Vista
Ultimate in a business environment. We have a seperate development
server (Local) and Internet server (Remote) that we use to check-in
and out and put files. This is done using our LAN. Previously we
used Dreamweaver 8 with the same setup without problem.
Initially DW CS3 worked properly with this same setup.
However, approximately 6 weeks ago the length of time to check in
and out, or put a file began to increase. Within the last several
days, it has been impossible for me to check in or out a file
without the process freezing DW. Another co-worker can still
check-in and out files from her PC using DW3, but it takes several
minutes to complete a check-in, out or put.
We know that memory is not a problem on either server and the
only thing that has changed on my PC with this setup is Adobe
Contribute being installed. I use Contribute to administer two
sub-sites for two employees who use it to update the sites.
I have uninstalled Contribute from my PC, removed my
Contribute profile from the server folders, uninstalled and
reinstalled DW3, the usual trouble-shooting things and DW3 still
freezes. BTW... I also have the same problems on another PC that
has XP Pro and DW3.
Any insight on what I am missing on this is greatly
appreciated.

Anyway, after some back-and-forthing with Murray and a
conversation with an Adobe tech, I got things running again. Maybe
the same strategy will work for you.... and hopefully it's a

Check date is out of the company due date range

Hi,
I want to enter Incoming Payment for a Cheque given by customer with Due date of next year. I have created a new posting posting period for 2012 and their status is unlocked. When I enter the due date in Payment means for next year the system is showing the following message
"Internal error (-4001) occurred [Message 131-183]
Check date is out of the company due date range"
Iam using SAP 8.81 PL 06. Allow future posting is also enabled. Transactions for current Financial year can be done when the due date is before 31/12/11. My Fiscal year is from 01/01/2011 to 31/12/2011. It is only when I enter due date of 2012 that Iam given the error message
What could be the issue?

1. Call transaction SMQ1 and check whether all queues in all clients (client = '', queue name 'MCEX') have been processed. To process the queues, start the collective run report for each application in the displayed clients. Unfortunately the check that the system carries out during the upgrade or when you import a Support Package does not display all affected applications. Therefore, Note 1083709 provides a check report that you can use to determine all affected applications and tables or queues.

How to hide check-in, check-out and publish buttons

i am new here and hope someone can help me:
users of a community can edit some content items. they can open these items with this link (from administrators guide for al interaction publisher 6.5 p. 10-28):

the link works, users can edit the items.
problem is, that i do not want to show the "publish button" to the users. the content item should be published automaticaly after the user clicks on "save". i also do not want users to see the check-in, check-out and preview buttons. they should just open a content item (+ simultaneously check-out), edit it and save it (+ simultaneously check-in and publish and close the content editor).
i thought this can be done by the "view" parameter, but nothing happens if i use it. any ideas?

This is a common problem. A creative way to solve the problem is to point yourself to the description field of each input on a data entry template. When you have the need to make any dynamic changes to the entry templates simply drop some javascript into the description field of an input and write the appropriate javascript code to either hide buttons, change behaviour etc. When the data entry template is displayed to a user the javascript in the description field will be executed by the browsing. Fortunately publisher does not check the description fields or encode them so you can get away with a lot.
The only problem with this approach is while you are altering the UI the underlying data model will still allow users to publish. So if an unauthorised user saw fit, they could publish content.
Have you considered creating a workflow so that users in specific groups cannot publish? that way only a controller down the line would be able to approve and publish.
