DW8 Encountered Problem Needs to Close

When using a particular template I downloaded, (which works
fine otherwise), I get the following error when I close any of the
open pages I am working on:
Dreamweaver 8 has encountered a problem and needs to close.
We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you were in the middle of
something, the information you were working on might be lost. For

if it is isolated to just pages based of that one design,
then a guess is
there is funky code in it. url address to an example page?

Itunes has encountered a problem & needs to close - HELP!

Hi lovely people. Please help me. My iTunes just won't work. It won't open & when I click it the following appears:

Please help because I have had my new Lostprophets CD for a week & I NEED to listen to it! I have 3 accounts on my pc & all are having the same issue. Also, Quicktime displays the same error. Please help, I'll be eternally grateful x

When you get back to the PC, if the QuickTime problem is a BEX and the QuickTime control panel error message is:
An exception occured while trying to run "C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL "C:\WINDOWS\system32\QuickTime.cpl",QuckTime"
... (the key here is that the message shows that the QuickTime.cpl is down in the \system32\ folder), then try proceeding as per my instructions to zach in the following post:

Sadly, it has been two weeks ago since I have been able to access my dictionary icon after receiving this message from Adobe. Hence, When? How? will my access be restored? When I try to search music store, my itunes close w/ a box that says "encountered a problem and must close"... I can get around the site normally, and all else seems well... The error message sends "quicktime.qt" file...
Any Ideas????

I keep getting a screen that says firefox exe has encountered and needs to close. If I restore the session I get the same message. These are sites I frequent regularly. How do I fix the problem and more to the point, what is the problem?

This problem started when I reinstalled my operating system and reloaded my programs. Until this point I was having no problems.

Looking to find the problem, I tried using safe mode to find a solution and found that in safe mode I did not encounter any error messages. I have no idea what is happening but I now can get to sites with no problem. Does any one know why?

"Apple Mobile Backup" has encountered a problem & needs to close!?

I receive this message anytime I try to sync my iPhone. It will sync my music, but won't sync anything else. I have repaired, uninstalled & reinstalled iTunes 7.3 but still cannot sync the unit. What do I need to do to fix this!?

I would recommend doing a full restore.
Open iTunes, on the Summary tab select "restore" and it will automatically backup any settings that you have on your iPhone and it will save your contacts.
Note: when you restore your iPhone, you will have to resync the videos, music, movies, etc. after the restore has taken place.
The whole process takes about 10-20 minutes and is fairly simple...

Apple Software Update has encountered a problem & needs to close.

That's the error message I get everytime I try to install the 7.5 version of Itunes on my computer. For more information it shows, problem is with softwareupdate.exe, appversion 2.0.0.2.1 modname unknown and modversion 0.0.0.0 offset is 003e9587. I have tried to bypass it, but my Itunes list won't go onto my Ipod until I have this newest version installed. My ex set up my Itunes for me so I don't know if there is a problem there. I also tried to figure out how to Eject before Disconnecting and don't know how to do that either. Is the button for that on the Ipod itself or supposed to be on my Itunes screen? Really confused and would love some help... thanks!

I may have figured out the problem as the version of Itunes that keeps trying to download isn't compatible with my version of windows. What is the newest version that does download for Windows XP? Is there a way to bypass having to download the newest version of Itunes? Anyone know about how to disconnect/eject the plug from the Ipod?

I've been using itunes for a while but when my sister got a new ipod she wanted the upgraded program so i downloaded the new program on top. It worked until we rebooted the computer and since then it would come up with an error. Afterwards, I uninstalled the program and reinstalled itunes 7.0, but when we went to open the program it said it couldn't read the itunes library, so i then deleted those files and now instead it says "itunes encountered a problem and needed to close" whenever i try to open it. Can someone please tell me what to do?

it won't let me in at all even a smidge.
its done this ever since ive tried to load it on this new computer.
ive uninstalled and reinstalled millions of times yet it still has the same message and no improvment, its very dissapointing since i haven't been able to redo my ipod in almost a year. so if anybody can help and get this problem patched up itd be much appreciated.

Today i installed Microsoft Office 2016 preview for my Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite. Word, Excel and Powerpoint applications are working without any problem.
