DWCS3 READ ONLY MEMORY CRASHES OSX 10.5.x

Question

I am getting repeated crashes when adding graphics to pages
with this
error:

Then I usually have to run permissions repair every time or
else DW will
start crashing every time I open it.
Anyone have any idea what's going on?

That has worked on and off. I seem to be getting the same
repeatable bug

It happens when I choose EDIT from the properties panel for a
graphic which
opens fireworks. I edit the graphic and choose done. An error
pops up that
says making this change would violate the template something
or other and
then DW crashes. The change obviously does not violate the
template
because the graphic made smaller fits even better within the
editable area.
Anyway, from that point on it repeatedly crashes when opening
with the
memory exception. I turned off all but system fonts, repaired
permissions,
deleted the plist, but I'm still getting crashes every time I
open a file.
This is becoming annoying to the point of #(*$^ing.
I didn't have these problems in Tiger...
