DWM is not installing properly

Question

I have followed and read the arch wiki top to bottom, but am still unable to boot into dwm from LXDM. Here is what I did:
First I downloaded the base-devel packages (using pacman)
Then I downloaded all the abs packages (also using pacman)
Then I ran:
pacman -S base-devel abs dmenu
Then abs:
abs community/dwm
cp -r /var/abs/community/dwm ~/dwm
Then I made the package:
makepkg -i
Then I made the custom start script and an alternative .desktop file, as said in the wiki
Here are my current files:

Then I made /usr/bin/dwm-personalized executable:
chmod +x /usr/bin/dwm-personalized
I did these steps literally 3 days ago and it installed dwm without error, but yesterday I decided I would change up the config a bit, but broke everything. So I decided to start fresh and delete everything, so I ran:
sudo pacman -Rs dwm
and then manually removed the two custom files as said in the wiki.
However, for the past day, I have been trying to literally do the same thing, but now I cannot get into dwm. I turn on my computer, get into LXDM, choose "dwm" or "dwm-personalized" on the drop down menu, then I type in my username and password, then it looks like it's booting into dwm for 1 second, but it doesn't and just boots me out. Would anyone know a fix for this? I am literally doing the same steps that I preformed 3 days ago, but they do not work anymore.

runical is probably right; were the problem in dwm itself, dwm almost certainly wouldn't have compiled and installed in the first place. With regard to the "dwm-personalized" script: All your copy the script does is launch the one and only dwm binary you have installed. It's no different from a symlink. The "personalized" aspect of the script on the wiki page is to set a couple environment variables that could just as easily be set in your Bash configuration, so in your case (and most cases, IMHO) that script is probably unnecessary.
I'm really not familiar with lxdm, but I would guess the problem lies there. If you want to start dwm from lxdm, just use the desktop file that comes with the dwm package from ABS and see if that works; otherwise, try just adding it to ~/.xinitrc again, this time making sure that every command in ~/.xinitrc is appended with '&'. Without the '&' aftear each command the X start-up process will hang, waiting for a command to finish before continuing.
