[DWMX]Banner flash

Hola a todos
El otro día un estudio de diseño nos paso un banner
en flash para poner en
una web. Yo (lo sientooo!) nunca he trabajado con flash y era
la primera vez
que insertaba un banner creado en flash en una web.
¿Cómo se puede hacer que
la imagen sea un enlace? Al seleccionarla no me daba esa
opción. Tuvimos que
poner un texto debajo: "Más información" y ese
texto fue el que hizo de
enlace.

Muchas gracias. La verdad es que el estudio que hizo el
flash, tampoco
controla de flash, lo crearon con freehand y la opción
exportar para flash y
me parece que en esa opción no se puede especificar el
enlace.

How do I make my banner flash from one photograph to another?

Good day.
I am using Dreamweaver CS5.
My banner of 968px X 280px is a JPG image (photograph) with a logo.
I would like to learn how to make the banner photograph flash from one photograph to another.
Can anyone help me with how to do this or guide me to where I can find a tutorial on this?
Can this be done in Dreamweaver with code, or do I have to do this in another application first?
I have Flash, Fireworks and Photoshop.

It's not jquery that determines the dimensions of your container for your images, you do. The dimensions can be any size. jquery is just a script which alternates the images within the container:

Question about flash and menus

Hello, I am trying to create a scrollable banner flash, exactly like http://sdsocialpresents.com/ does it. I have all of the adobe products. Is this kind of thing hard to create? How do I go about creating something similar to it?

If you have no experience using Flash it can be difficult to get over the first humps of the learning curve. You'll probably need to familiarize yourself with the tools provided in the software before you can try to tackle designing anything.
What you linked to as an example appears to be a variation of a cover-flow design. You can find one here... http://www.flashxml.net/cover-flow.html and you might be able to find a tutorial if you search Google using search terms like "AS3 cover-flow tutorial"

SWF won't display in IE

I embedded a swf in my html page through Dreaweaver. I was
prompted that the AC_RunActiveContent.js would be added for
displaying in IE. It is there and linked to in the code. The swf
plays fine in FF and in only one IE ver 6 browser I tried it on at
another site. I've tried it on IE 6 and 7 here at home, to no
avail. The swf banner flashes for a split second then disappears to
nothing but a blank spot. Because it worked in one IE browser I
suspected browser settings.The settings appear ok in my IE browser.
I can't compare the working IE browser with the non-working ones
very easily as they are separated by miles. Is there something in
the code that needs to be changed? Any ideas would be
appreciated.

Problem: Malware/Spyware Ad on webpages

Problem with malware and/or spyware.
Just a few days ago i have notice that when i visit youtube and google, a "Ad banner" (Flash) open on the top of the window. I use chrome and safari and in both of them i get the same problem. So i want to know if someone can help me to solucionate this. Does exist a program to detect malware and spyware on a mac ?
I will apreciate if someone helps me. I bought my macbook on December, and i can believe that two months later i have a malware!

Theorectically any Mac could be cracked/hacked. If you use common sense the odds against it happening are long.
You can protect yourself by using your firewall and/or a hard wired router, downloading only from "trusted" sites, installing all security updates and being careful about what you give administrative power to.
Don't use Limewire or any other P2P service to download your software, get it from reputable sources. In addition, always keep at least your users backed up, preferably a clone of your entire system on a separate disk. And put your sensitive passwords, bank accounts, credit card numbers in a "secure note" in a new keychain or in an encrypted folder.
You can also use these online security tests to see how secure your Mac is.
And depending on how paranoid you are you might want to try Little Snitch.

Having some problems getting my movie clip to tween..

Hey guys im animating this banner right now I'm going to have the van come from the far road and come up the closer hill..
I took the van made a movie-clip of it clicked into the movie clip added the rest of the layers to the van like the wheels. Then I made the wheels a movie clip went into those and animated them to rotate but when i go back to the main van movie clip to tween it to move left to right it just doesn't work? I can't explain why..

The new motion model will keyframe for you. You create one tweened instance, and then make changes along the tween span. For example, move your playhead to frame 24 in that Fla and drag the van. The motion is automatically inserted.
You will be able to delete that second tween span (the one on frame 25), and drag your existing tween span so it's longer (mouse over the end of the span until you see the double-ended arrow, and drag to the right).

Bonjour,
J'ai réalisé un PDF contenant différents liens qui pointent vers d'autres PDF, TIFF ou dossiers....
Lorsque je clic sur un lien, le document s'ouvre systématiquement avec mon navigateur web par défaut.
J'aimerais pouvoir ouvrir les différents documents avec les logiciels adéquats
     PDF avec Adobe Reader ou Acrobat
     Tif avec visionneuse Windows
     Dossiers avec l'explorateur Windows

Cela fonctionne parfaitement avec le logiciel Foxit reader, donc je pense que cela vient de la configuration d'adobe reader ou acrobat.
A mon avis c'est l'inverse, c'est Foxit qui met la zone…
Pourquoi ne pas créer simplement un "porte document" dans Acrobat ? C'est une fonction ancienne qui marche bien et qui a l'avantage d'être personnalisante (logo, background,…)
Un porte-document PDF requiert Adobe Reader (ou Acrobat) + Flash player.
Donc ça ne fonctionne sur aucun périphérique mobile ni dans les entreprises dont le S.I. a banni Flash player. Ca ne fonctionne pas sur Linux/Unix non plus.
D'autre part, les porte-documents PDF utilisent des technologies qui ne font pas partie de la norme ISO 32000*, alias PDF 1.7*, et qui donc ne peuvent pas être considérées comme pérennes.

He hecho un banner de esos que van en un layer. Dentro de
este layer he
puesto un banner flash, que carga un peque�o video con
sonido. Para cerrar
el layer uso un javascript simple. El boton para cerrar el
layer esta dentro
del flash...Con Explorer no hay ningun problema, el layer se
cierra,
PERO...con Firefox el layer se cierra pero el sonido del
video sigue
escuchandose... Yo ahora meti en el flash, dentro del boton
para cerrar el
layer, un StopAllSound despues del script, pero no creo que
sea la solucion
del todo correcta....Alguno sabe que otra cosa puedo hacer?

I found an answer to this on another page (I was having the same problem) This worked for me:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.

How do I add an html link/banner to a page in my flash website?

I purchased a flash website template and am in the process of editing my main.fla file. In order to get listed on an advertising website with a higher rating, I have to place a reciprocal link to them on my site. However, I cannot figure out how to place an html link/banner on my site for other businesses. If I paste the html code in a text box, all that shows up is the html code rather than the image and link it is meant to generate. Please help!

Flash only supports a small amount of html in text areas. If what you re trying to include is within what it supports, then you assign the text to the textfield using the htmlText property of the TextField...

How can I have xml/php feed text to a flash multipage banner?

Wondering if you could help me on this one...
I've made a few sites a few years ago with flash CS3/AS2 and using the TextArea as an output for xml content. that really sucked and looked terrible as it flashed white everytime it was loading (especially on slow connections). so I don't want to go that route again. no thank you sir!
ok, so I have a banner that has 3 text elements per page (with various graphics per page behind the text) ...all text needs to be live as it is fed by 3 different languages. (referably the image link too)
1. consistant big title across 8 pages
2. sub-title that changes per page
3. paragraph of text per sub-title
4. the background image
Each of the 8 "slides" lasts about 6 seconds each (this part im fine with and sorted in AS2...but not AS3). On the top left are 8 numbered buttons that a user can click on to view whichever "slide" they may have missed or whatever. (this part i'm ok with....just the external text and formating are the issue)
how would i go about setting this up via dynamic text with either XML or PHP in CS4/AS3? (using dynamic text fields, but so its nicely formated).
any extended info or some links to modern tutorials would be a great help.

How to creating a web banner in Flash CS3?

Hi all,
I'm very new to Flash CS3. Can anyone give me a step-by-step
instructions on how to make a banner for a web-site? Or a link were
i can find step-by-step instructions?
I have googled it but found no real help. I have tryed
"Youtube" hoping to even fine any one (most likely a child) with
directions on how to do this. Funny thing is that it seems most 8
year olds are better at Flash CS3 than I am & i'm 45.
Anyway, if you can help please make it simple or for the
simple minded. :)

I understand your pain...I just posted a similar request
earlier today for help but finally figured it out on my own. I've
done lots of searching online and used Adobe's Flash Classroom in a
Book and also took an online ed2go class and I still don't have a
good handle on Flash. Nothing seems to give clear step by step
directions on animating images for web banners. You just have to do
a lot of trial and error. These websites may help if you don't have

Space issue in Firefox related to Flash banner

I have a website with validated XHTML and CSS that displays an unwanted space only in Firefox under a Flash banner. The site has been tested in IE6/7/8, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, AOL, and Netscape. Firefox is the only problem. After posting this issue to Experts Exchange, it was determined that the code Dreamweaver generates to insert Flash causes the problem. An expert on that site originally thought there were two instances of the object and removed what handles IE. The site then displayed correctly in all other browsers, but would continuously try to load the Flash file in IE. Obviously, that is not the resolution. I have tried inserting various IECCs without finding the right combination. -- The live site is http://www.imfgsol.com. The test page that contains code suggested by Experts Exchange is http://www.imfgsol.com/default2.html -- I would great appreciate any help resolving this issue!! Thanks!

Thanks so much for your help! Adding the param, removing the IECCs, and correcting the tag closing resolved the issue. The http://www.imfgsol.com/default2.html page now loads in IE 6/7/8 and validates.

The display was fine in all browsers other than Firefox. In Firefox, an unwanted space was created due to the way it read the IE code. The space below the banner is illustrated here:
By removing the separate objects and IECCs and adding the param as suggested, there is no longer a space in Firefox and the display is correct in IE 6/7/8, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, AOL, and Netscape. The code that works correctly is:
