Dx0 Filmpack 4 plugin broken in CC
I found the FAQ, not terribly well earmarked and reinstalled my Nik software plugins from scratch. I find it hard to believe that it was not possible to migrate this very common plugin set, as with Topaz and save hundreds of thousands of users (many of whom who won't be very technical) from having to scratch around and find solutions.... Dx0 Filmpack 4 however is broken and does not install from a fresh attempt into CC. Again, can it have been very hard to liaise and make sure this stuff works?
I filled in a Dx0 query on this early yesterday. No response so far, unlike Google/Nik who were back to people within the same day. Not impressed.

As with the Facebook plugin, and discussion here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4854227 the flickr plugin (and anything that writes to the temporary area) are broken on Windows 7, at least since the latest Windows update. The plugin crashes because it can't write temporary files to the drive. I am running Lightroom 4.2 and Flickr Plugin 4.2.0.850741. Instead I installed Jeffry Friedl's Flickr plugin as a workaround, which does not have this issue (http://regex.info/blog/lightroom-goodies/facebook).
Adobe, please look at this!Also, I used Microsoft's Process Monitor to track which files were written when I published a 1-photo collection to Flickr:
These are exactly the directories and files you'd expect, which suggests something very curious on your configuration. A screenshot of the error message might produce more clues. -
Select multiple channels in the mixer. Add a waves plugin and it only loads one channel. Niiice...
Waves 5 here, just some of the older plugins (eg Renaissance Comps, Doubler etc). They are all working as before, so maybe it's a V6 thing, or something specific in those newer Waves plugs.

Quicktime Plugin broken and no option to re-install
Please help
I'm normally able to fix things that break but this time I am lost.
Having upgraded to SL and Quicktime X my Quicktime Plugin (7.6.3) has become corrupt and won't load any videos from the apple website.
I have tried re-installing SL, deleting the plugin, repairing permissions. Apple suggest re-installing quicktime but as soon as you try it just tells you that you can't re-install it as you have a newer version QT X.
The plugin works in firefox so its just a safari issue. (I also can't download a new safari as I have to new a version.)
Anyone else had this problem and solved it?Sorry no help here, but just want to state that I have a similar problem. Having upgraded to Snow Leopard, and Quicktime X and Quicktime 7 (Pro) installed the Quicktime plugin doesn't work in Safari. Firefox works o.k.
I do have Flip4Mac WMV installed - not sure whether that's relevant. -
With Notrox installed the weblogic Server plugin stops working. The tree of servers will not build.
It would be helpful if you can explain the problem in detail. In addition, provide the following information.
- What OS are you working on?
- The WebLogic server version
- Help > About NitroX > Click on Eclipse icon - Version & build id
- Help > About NitroX > Click on NitroX icon - Version & build id
- Are you able to create the server configuration at Window > Preferences > NitroX > Server Configuration
- What JDK did you select for the server configuration?
- Is your application associated with the above server configuration - Run > Run ... (Debug...) > Web Application?
- When you Run/Debug, do you see the server start-up message in the Console View? -
HttpMail Plugin broken by 10.5.6

I just installed mac os X 10.5.6 and now my http mail plugin doesn't work. As the program is still avaible from apple.com it's something to be solved quickly.

Rhythmbox 0.13.2 Last.fm plugin broken
After a recent reboot I found that Rhythmbox opens and plays fine, but will not allow the Last.fm plugin to start.
If I open it via terminal, I get the following errors:

NetBeans plugin broken in 3.1.0RC2
Hi,
I downloaded 3.1.0RC2 and installed it in my NetBeans/SunONE Studio IDE
and am having a problem.
It starts up OK, but when I go into Tools->Options and try to view the
JDO->Kodo Settings, I get an exception (included below).
I had a problem similar to this once before that you helped me work
through, so I tried the same thing you suggested then but it had no effect.
1. Disable the Kodo module.
2. Exit IDE.
3. Remove kodo-jdo.jar from the studio5_se/modules directory (was 3.0.3).
4. Restart the IDE. Check in Tools->Options...no more JDO.
5. Exit the IDE.
6. Copy the 3.1.0RC2 kodo-jdo.jar into the studio5_se/modules directory.
7. Restart the IDE.
Any ideas?

Yep, that was it. Actually, I noticed that there are actually five new
JARs in 3.1.0 that weren't in 3.0.3:

mx4j-admb.jar

mx4j-tools.jar
sqlline.jar
I also see that jakarta-commons-logging-1.0.3.jar & log4j-1.2.6.jar which
were in 3.0.3 are not in 3.1.0.
Are these differences explained in the release notes (I admit, I didn't
even look at them blush).

DxO Filmpack v3 and PS CS5 : crash

Anyone successfully launched the DxO Filmpack v3 plugin from CS5? I can't get it to work. Either I get error messages or Photoshop crashes as soon as the plugin is loaded. I reported this to the DxO support but I'd like to know whether it's my system or a general problem.

PatrickIt depends largely on the OS you're using. If you're on XP or Vista the PS plugin version struggles with pictures over 14-18Mpix, you may have to use the standalone instead. On Windows 7 it seems to be working fine.

BPM DC: Build Plugin IS NOT DEFINED, broken DC, dependencies
Hi,
I'am trying to create BPM component in NWDS 7.2 SP04 and there are some problems.
I've created SC like described in SAP Note 1463541. It said that I need to define required SCs for BPM dc: COMP_BUILDT, BPEM-BUILDT, BPEM-CONTENT, CU-BASE-JAVA, CU-BASE-WD, DATA-MAPPING, ECM-CORE, ENGFACADE, ESCONF_BUILDT, FP-INFRA, FRAMEWORK, MOIN_BUILDT, SAP_BUILDT, SERVICE-COMP, THL-CORE, WD-RUNTIME.
Next I've created track, imported required archives, imported this track in NWDS, and finaly I've created DC of type "Process Composer".
After that I see next problems with my DC:
1. DC cannot be built without another two required DC (ESMP_BUILDT, BPEM-MM).
Is it an error in sap note or something esle?
2. In CBS I can see that some of used DC are bbroken (total DC 430; broken DC 20).
Is it normal or not?
3. I can build my DC in NWDS but when I try to activate it in NWDI I got an error in activation request:
''company.ru/bpm1'' variant ''default'' cannot be built. ACTIVATION will fail.
Build Plugin IS NOT DEFINED for this component or the defined Build Plugin is INVALID.
I think that this is because of broken status of "tc/bpem/bi/bp/buildtool" DC, which is declared as build plugin for my DC.

You are absolutely right. The problem is due to the broken DC in CBS.
Please perform the following steps to resolve the issue.
1) Goto the Landscape Configurator link.
2) Chose your track inside the table on the left side.
3) goto the Domain Data option, Click on the "Change" button, and then click on "Update CMS" button (This may take some time)
4) once the CMS Update is finished, open the "Track Data" link that is beside "Domain Data"
5) Now click on the "Change" button, from the software component (SCs) table remove the WebDynpro SC, and add it back once again.
6) Save the Track Data.
7) Now goto Transport Studio, make sure your track is selected in the table
8) In the Check-In Tab select all the components displayed in the "Check-In" button.
9) Once the Check-In operation is completed all those component will now be queued up in the Development Tab,
10) In the Development Tab select all the components & click on "Import"
11) Once the Import operation is completed all those component will now be queued up in the Consolidation Tab,
12) In the Consolidation Tab select all the components & click on "Import"
13) Now come back to your NWDS and remove the configuration that you have imported previously and then again load the same configuration once again from the SLD.
This should resolve your problem...
If the issue still persists even after performing the above steps, then I am afraid to say that the .SCA files present in ...CMS/Inbox folder might have got corrupted.
Please ask your basis team to copy all the standard .SCA files from the path /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/EPS/buildarchives/ to the CMS transport directory (<specified in the domain tab>\CMS\inbox) in order to make these dependencies available for your tracks.
Then again perform the above mentioned 13 steps.

hey ya'll i was wondering if i could get some help... i dont know how many of you are fammiliar with myspace but if you are you will know about the music player on peoples profile. so basically whenever i go to the page instead of the player automatically playing the music it just comes up with a broken plugin icon... i've already tried to uninstall and reinstall the quicktime 7.0.4 but nothing seems to work.
Windows XPThis is just a test I am making. I don't want to just open some file in Quicktime. I want to put an mp4 file in my website and have people see it.
The final result will be that users will go to some page and the player will be embedded in code, but for now I am just accessing the file using the url. If I can't see it using the url in the browser much less I will be able to see it embedded in code.
So basically the file is already there in my site but when I go to the url nothing happens. I'll worry about the code later. If I can't see the movie myself or if don't know how to fix this then I won't be able to solve similar issues for my users.

Broken pipe error in plugin log
Hello All,
Any help will be much appreciated.
Currently we have a webserver and weblogic servers(two) in the same box. The webserver
is IPlanet and it communicates with weblogic(7.0 SP2) using the weblogic plug-in.
Normally the webserver connects to the first weblogic server and subsequent request
were sent to the same weblogic servers. While doing so, the plugin hits a broken
pipe error and it failover to the second weblogic server. We do not know the cause
of this problem as there is no broken pipe errors in the weblogic server logs.
I changed the weblogic & plugin configurations and did various tests using the
following configuratons, but no luck.
Weblogic plugin configurations:
1. HungServerRecoverSecs to 5000,
2. WLSocketTimeoutSecs to 5000
3. KeepAliveSecs="120" ( by default KeepAliveEnabled is true)
4. ConnectTimeoutSecs="120" along with ConnectRetrySecs=2 ( i.e. 60 connections
before it throws HTTP 503- Service Unavailable exception).
Weblogic server configurations:
1. Post Timeout Secs: 120(max)
2. T3 Message Timeout: 480(max)
3. HTTP Message Timeout: 480(max).

Q: I am using a JDBC Receiver Adapter in conjunction with the Lotus Domino Driver for JDBC perform an INSERT or UPDATE operation on a database. When sending a message to the receiver, the Adapter Monitoring shows the following error message:
"java.sql.SQLException: [Lotus][Domino Driver for JDBC]Invalid cursor state"
Is there a fix for this issue?
A: To work around this JDBC driver problem, activate the Advanced Mode for the respective JDBC Receiver channel and configure the setting "Number of Retries of Database Transaction on SQL Error" to a value > 0. Additionally, make sure that the setting "Database Auto-Commit Enabled" is also active as the Lotus Domino Driver for JDBC does not support transactions.
Apply note 846079 before configuring this scenario.
Q: The TCP/IP connection to my database host is running over an unreliable network connection, i.e. the connection is sometimes interrupted. Consequently, I sporadically receive an SQLException regarding a closed connection in the system trace or audit log or the connection as well as the JDBC Adapter channel are hanging.
How can I work around this connectivity issue?
A: Enable the "Advanced Mode" for the respective JDBC Adapter channel and select the option "Disconnect from Database After Processing each Message".
Note that this might put additional load on your DBMS due to the creation of a new database connection for each message.
I dont have access to a database right now, so i am not able to check this.
Also check the JDBC driver compatability as mentioned in the above note.

Theme broken after update - Need Eclipse ThemeEditor Plugin for NW7.1
Hello,
we're actually upgrading our system from NW700-15 to NetWeaver 701-03(EHP4). We don't use a sap-portal, so we have to create our custom themes / stylesheets with the ThemeEditor Plugin for eclipse.
I think our current stylesheets were created with the theme editor plugin for NW04SStack13Themes or NW04SStack14Themes. I'm not sure at the moment. But this version works with our old release.
Now, after upgrading to NW7.1 SP3 our WebDynpro Applications (ABAP) are completely broken, by using our own stylesheets.
Remembering that for each stack, a sperate ThemeEditorPlugin is required, i searched for the right plugin to recreate our stylesheets.
But I can't find a download for the Eclipse ThemeEditor Plugin for NetWeaver 7.1 (SP3) ?!?!? (Only NW2004s SP 7-14, which are not the one i need)
