Dynamic actions: more than 999 rows?

hello,
is there a solution when there are more than 999 lines to insert for an infotype in dynamic actions?
the sequential number has only a length of 3, but i have more than 999 lines to insert!
thanks in advance.

For this kind of table, Numbers would be a better choice.
In Pages we may build tables with 65 * 999 cells.
In Numbers we may build tables with 256 * 65535 cells.

  • Copy and Paste Large (more than 999 rows) Spreadsheet

I have a large spreadsheet that has a number of hidden columns.  It is about 1,135 rows long.  I have no trouble copying and pasting the spreadsheet into Pages (both are IWork '09) as long as I only try to copy and past 999 or fewer rows.  But when I try to copy and paste more than 999 rows, I only get the cell contents pasted into Pages.  The cell borders and formatting all get removed.  I have tried different groupings of 999 and always get the same results whether I am trying it will range 1-999 or 100-1099.  999 cells can be copied and pasted, but 1,000 or more get stripped of any formatting during the paste.  Any suggestions?  I've tried rebooting, running disk utility and renaming the Numbers document.  I've tried copying and pasting the contents of the numbers document into a new numbers document, but get the same results.  I've exported the Numbes document as an Excel document and reopened it using Numbers but still get the same results.  Anybody got any suggestions?  I'm running OS X 10.6.8 and everything is current.

    Hello
To be complete on the subject, I tested the number of columns allowed by Pages in a table.
The document format, portrait or landscape, doesn't matter. Pages accept only 65 columns.
This limit may have a simple explanation :
in Binary format, 64 is represented by 1000000
and of course as we start from 0, 7 digits allow to define 65 values.
For the 999 rows limit I have no idea. The binary representation of 998 is : 1111100110
I would be surprised  that Apple use the decimal system to count the rows and if it does, the logical limit wasn't 999 but 1000 which is the count of integers from 0 thru 999.
At this time the larger table which I use regularly is a Numbers one with 5296 rows in which I store the references to Apple Technotes. It receive about 20 new rows every week.
I splitted the original 6942 rows one in two tables : the one with 'living' technotes and a 1646 rows one storing the now obsolete technotes.
15 days ago, it was an AW6 database but I decided that it was time to to switch it in today's application.

  • Report with more than 500 rows

I have a report with more than 500 rows and i donot know the total number of records returned from sql query before hand. Is there any way to dynamically set the MAX ROW COUNT in the report - layout and pagination.
    Thanks a lot
    Sudha

    Hi All,
The main problem for the scenario is that....Say you first create a SQL query based report with setting the row per page 15 .Now after the region is displayed if u go through the report attributes of the page and change the no. of row per page and apply changes the same will not going to reflect in the report display page.
For ur case just select the no. of page u want to show while creating SQL Query based report region say 1000 and after creating the region go to the report attributes -> Layout and Pagination -> Max Row Count : 9000 (say).
I have solved the problem after creating 700 rows and the all rows displayed in the page fine........If u have further issue plz revert back to me.
Thats solve ur problem i think.....
    Thanks n Regards,

  • Trouble with the SQL smt to :list tables having more than 1000 rows

Please I trying to list only tables having more than 1000 rows, but the sql stmt below doesn't work, can someone gives me a tips
    select table_name from user_tables where table_name in ( select table_name from user_tables where rownum > 1000 ) : The result is no rows!
But I know that I have at lest 50 tables having more than 1000 rows
Thanks a lot for the help

If your tables are reasonably analyzed, then you can simply query:
    SELECT table_name,
           num_rows
      FROM user_tables
WHERE num_rows >= 1000This will give you quite a reasonable estimate.
Otherwise you have to go for dynamic sql or use the data dictionary to help you generate suitable scripts ....

    Hi,
The cursor has a different parameter? Maybe the query is not exactly the same. Could you check this?
    This is your query (formatted):

  • MIRO with more than 999 goods receipts

    Hello,
I have the following flow for logistic costs:
    - I create a purchase order by month for my warehouse handler containing 1 line item with a quantity of 1600.
    - Everytime I ship goods in my sales flow I create a shipment cost document that generates a goods receipt in that purchase order
    - By the end of month I receive my invoice that is approximately for 1600 shipments, which means 1600 goods receipt.
When I post the invoice I have the issue of more than 999 lines for the accounting document. This is basically a problem with the GR/IR account.
The purchase account is activated in my company code, so everytime I make a goods receipt I debit my cost and credit this GR/IR account, this account is then cleared during the invoice process (debit GR/IR and credit supplier).
This account must be managed on line item basis and with open items management, this is why the invoice will try to create 1600 lines in the accounting document.
Is there a way to summarize booking on this account in the invoice that would also manage to clear all the goods receipts ?
    Regards,
    Benoit

    Hi,
I think that in your case SAP Note 77161 - Summarization of FI postings w.ref.to purchase orders is relevant, because as the note says:
"In the STANDARD, fields Order number (EBELN) and Purchase order item
(EBELP) CANNOT be used to summarize. In both the goods receipt with
reference to the purchase order (MB01) and the invoice verification, they
are assigned to an account in the FI document and thus PREVENT the
    summarization of the FI document."
The note suggests you how to avoid it and that kind of problems you will have.

  • Can't insert more than 8000 rows to excel via JOB

    Hello,
I have SSIS package where I have two tasks.
File System task copies file (with header names) to destination folder.
Data flow task export data from table to copied Excel file. Select are simple "select * from table" without any filters.
There are about 100 000 rows in the table.
When I run this task through Visual studio everything works fine. Data to Excel file is exported.
When I run this package in JOB (Job Activity Monitor) the file is created but 0 rows is exported.
One interesting thing, that when I use select "select top 7000 * from table" 7000 rows is inserted but when I try to export more than 8000 rows then 0 rows is exported. The JOB generates 0 errors. In fact he tries to export. Because all the time
Excel's file "Date modified" is changing.
It seems like data is exported but the final "commit" isn't done. Anybody knows where could be a problem?

Out of curiosity I have had a go at reading 70K lines of data from a table in a sql server and exporting them to an excel 2007 file:
    SSIS 2012 project deployment
2 project connections: sql database connection for source
and an Excel 2007 connection for destination:
    Provider=Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0;Data Source=F:\Data\Outbox\ExcelOut.xlsx;Extended Properties="Excel 12.0 XML;HDR=YES";
I have an empty excel 2007 file as template with header rows in the first sheet.
I test the project in VS 2012, ran without problems.
I set DelayValidation to true on package level, data flow level.
In data flow, excel distination, ValidataExternal metadata to False.
I deploy the project with the package to an Integration Services catalog on a SQL 2012 server (not my development machine)
I copy an empty excel 2007 file (with the headers in the first row) in the correct file location.
I execute the package from SSMS in the Integration services catalogs, with 32 bit checked.
    The package runs without errors.
I can open the excel file and see 70K records.
Last thought: I have no NULL values in my data. Do you have null values after the first 7000 records? Or is one of the excel columns expecting numerical data where it suddenly finds alfanumeric after 7000 rows?
Another suggestion: if you run the package with SSMS from the catalog, you can set the verbose reporting mode on, does that tell you anything more?

Currently, the above codes issue is that although many rows of data have been inputted in all the tables, with regards to the select criteria above (in italics), it only produces one row of data when i expect more than one to appear.
If the query only outputs one row but you're expecting it to produce more than one row, then you need to dissect the statement to find out where the output is being unduly restricted
I was told maybe an outerloop or an inner loop would do the trick, but really stuck on how and where to put it.
Hope this makes sense guys and I would really appreciate your time.
    Thanks

if i run this particular code
    ( SELECT
    AccountDetails.CUSTOMERNUMBER, AccountDetails.ACCOUNTNUMBER, CUSTOMERDETAILS.CDTITLE, CUSTOMERDETAILS.CDFIRSTNAME, CUSTOMERDETAILS.CDLASTNAME, AccountDetails.ACCOUNTTYPE,
    AccountDetails.ORIGINALCONTRACTENDDATE, AccountDetails.CONTRACTTERM, AccountDetails.CONTRACTENDDATE, AccountDetails.BRANCHAREA, AccountDetails.PRODUCTTYPE,
    AccountDetails.HOUSEBANKACCOUNT, AccountDetails.CARMODEL, AccountDetails.CARLICENCE, AccountDetails.ARREARSBALANCE, AccountDetails.CODEBTOR, AccountDetails.GUARANTORNUMBER
    FROM AccountDetails
    JOIN CUSTOMERDETAILS ON AccountDetails.CUSTOMERNUMBER = CUSTOMERDETAILS.CUSTOMERS1
    WHERE EXISTS
    ( SELECT *
    FROM Dcaaccountallocation
    JOIN DebtEpisodes ON DebtEpisodes.ACCOUNTID = Dcaaccountallocation.ACCOUNTID
    WHERE Dcaaccountallocation.dcaid = 41
    AND Dcaaccountallocation.status = 2
    AND DebtEpisodes.DCASentDate IS NULL
    AND Dcaaccountallocation.ACCOUNTID = AccountDetails.ACCOUNTNUMBER
    AND DebtEpisodes.DCAORLAWYER = 'DCA'
This returns 1 row of data
However if i run a small part of the above code...
    SELECT *
    FROM Dcaaccountallocation
    JOIN DebtEpisodes ON DebtEpisodes.ACCOUNTID = Dcaaccountallocation.ACCOUNTID
    WHERE Dcaaccountallocation.dcaid = 41
    AND Dcaaccountallocation.status = 2
It returns a lot of rows with a status of 2
Now i presume what I am going to do is to ensure that all the fields provide satisfactory requirements, with regards to the above code. Although I have many records in all the stated tables already.
    :(

  • Export a BO  report to excel having more than 65500 rows

    Post Author: noble

Please let me know what are the different options available to export BO report having more than 65500 rows to excel 2003.

    Post Author: amr_foci
    CA Forum: .NET
i think excel will not be able to handle all that records , you can devide your report into some tabs based on a specific condition for every tab, so when you export it to excel you will get many tabs as was exist in the the Business Objects report
    good luck

  • Hacking application id equals() to allow more than one row per "primary key"

I have a read only entity whose primary key is not the real primary key
on the underlying table. The result is that I get more than one row per
"primary key". This is what I want. However KODO will not allow me do
it, because I am storing the collection in a HashSet() and the equals()
method on the application id object ensures that this set contains no
duplicates (as defined by the application id). At least thats how it
    seems to behave.
So, I have hacked the equals() method to do this:
    public boolean equals (Object ob)
    if (this == ob)
    return true;
// Doing this because we expect more than one row from
    // REF_CODES for the same domain/shortCode combination.
// This is ok to do (I guess?) as long as we are only
// doing selects using this class.
    return false;
Will this hack have any side effects? Is there another option? Like
using a list collection? Is so, which collections are supported?
    Thanks,
    Mike.

The "primary key" I am using it already a compound key of two columns.
The real key on the underlying table is a three column key. But the
problem is that the table represents two different application level
entities. I could deal with it when I was hand-writing SQL (I could do
a distinct for example) but now I am relying on foreign key
relationships since I moved to JDO. Not sure what to do. Best solution
is to rework the table, but there is a lot of legacy code (that other
teams use and maintain) relying on this table. I guess I'll use the
    weekend for inspiration ;-)

This sounds like a dangerous operation. Even if this works now, I
cannot promise future compatibility... and in fact may result in bad
data (for example in caching both at the PM and PMF level) Is there no
other field that you can reference as part of the primary key? Primary
Keys can be multi columned (e.g. last_name, soc_sec_number)

Can any one give me clue ,how to find out which sub query returns more than one row in the following query .This is why smaller, simpler queries are easier to work with than huge ones - when something like this goes wrong smaller queries are much eaiser to debug. Unfortunately using smaller, easier-to-work with queries is not always an option
Ganesh is right - you will have to dissect the big query bit by bit until you find the offending subquery. If there is another way I would like to find out about it too.
The easiest way to do this is probably to use block comments to isolate parts of the query bit by bit until you find the offending part. If you carefully examine the subqueries you might be able to figure out which one is returning multiple rows without commenting everything
    Good luck!
