In work break schedule what is reference time for dynamic break? Give an example pls.what is dynamic break?

say for example, shift starts at 07:00 am, after 3 hrs of working employees can get a break

    I have a problem with time for dynamic break in HR.
    I have a planned working time 00-24 and planned working hours 6 and break 1 hour.
    The problem is I don't know the start of the normal working time and I can not give the break correctly.
    There is a solution for this problem?

    there should be a condition, when a break can be availed.... after 1 or two hrs ... somethng lik thz..
    say, if emp starts at 9... thne he can take break at 12
    if emp starts at 10... he can take at 13 hrs.
    for this.. Use 'N' in ref time.
    System will then considred Normal Working time of an employee apart from Planned Working Time.
    Though planned is 00 hrs, employeess normal wrkin time is now 06 hrs, then berak will be defined at 9 hrs... (if 3 hrs is given in AFTER field)

  • Dynamic breaks and Overtime

    Hi experts,
    Employees use CATS to record their working hours. Within the week, everything works just fine.
    On weekends they use a daily work schedule with "No planned working hours" crossed (same work break schedule as within the week). Due to this (my assumption), the dynamic breaks don´t work (they are not taken into account). In T550P, entries are as follows:
    01     Schedule     01               0,50     0,00     6,00     N     
    01     Schedule     02               0,25     0,00     9,51     N          
    How can I make this work or what am I doing wrong?

    Hi,
    When we use Variant DWS and Flexi DWS we do not use Break Schedule.
    Breaks can specify any number of breaks within the employee's planned working time, and a maximum of four overtime breaks (outwith the planned working time). Only in the planned working time.

  • How to create dynamic break groups?

    Hi,
    The report I'm trying to create contains several hierachies which translate into break groups. The number of hierachies and break groups displayed will depend on user parameter. The report could look like this:
    ---Report 1
    Store Total :AAAAAA
    Division Total :BBBB
    Department CCCCC
    ---Report 2
    Store Total :AAAAAA
    Division Total : BBBB
    Department Total :CCCCC
    Class DDDDD
    ---Report 3
    Store Total :AAAAAA

    Class Total DDDDD
    Subclass EEEEE
    I read that lexical reference can only be used if the number of columns returned and the datatypes are the same but the number of columns returned by my report varies (depending on user's choice). I tried using Filter on the breakgroups but found that this will affect the Total figures. Any kind of help will be appreciated, thank you.

    Is the Class in Report2 the same as Class Total in Report3? In this case just create report with maximum possible number of groups, and then conditionally suppress frames of those groups not needed for current report. Labels for totals can also be adjusted dynamically.

  • Dynamic page breaks

    Hi there,
    I am producing a report based on a data set that can change on each run.
    I have created a fixed Page Break at the start of each section. However, within each section sub headings are becoming separated from the data within them. E.g. The heading will be on page 2 and then all the data will be on page 3.
    What I need to do is be able to create dynamic breaks when this situation arises so that the Sub Heading appears on page 3 with the data. Is this possible and if so how?

    Hi,
    I have some questions regarding on break in Time management
    I had already defined 2 shift one is S1 which is the morning shift and another is S2 which is the second shift. For my first shift is work from 9am-4pm while my seconf shift is work from 2pm-9pm. Both break I uses dynamic break.
    S1 : 12.00-14.00 unpaid of one hour
    S2:  17.00-19.00 unpaid of one hour
    Each shift consist of 4 people working in it. How do I configure such that 2 person in shift one goes to their break at 12.00-13.00  instead of all 4 going to break at the same time?

    I dont think so that it is possible using break configuration.
    You can probably use 2 fixed breaks and assign them to your daily work schedule hence creating two daily work schedules but with different break times and then use them.

  • Iw72 service order + Link b/w operations and PRTs

    Hello Friends,
    So here is my problem. In transctin iw72 ( service order ) there is a tab called "operations". In tab operatinos I can attatch Resourse / tool ( table AFFH ( PRT assignment data for the work order )  and structure AFFHD (Structure of the PRTs in orders). So I can do this all manually, and after pressing save, the PRTs is attatched to the operation. ( pls note I want to attatch a documet as PRTs to the operations)
    Now I want to do this via any FM or BAPI, but unfortunatelly I was not able to find any such bapi, ( I mean, I have find bapi to create the operation, and I also find the bapi to create the document, and now I have to find the bapi which store the PRTs ( in my case document ) to that operation ( or order ).
    In table AFFH, I have reference to the order, but not to the operation, so actually using this table I can attatch the PRTs to one order, but my req is to attatch to the operation.
    So I debug the standard code, to find out how they are doing, but could not find much, any tip how I can make it more simple to find out, what is going on in starndard code.

  • Mail sent thru background job doesnt have all pages in attachment

    Hi Experts,
    We developed a program where the output is triggered by calling a smart form. We schedule a background job and we updated the mail address in Spool list recipent. After succesfull execution of job we checked the spool it is around 30 pages but the attachement in the mail has only 3 pages. we are not sure where the exact problem is. Can any one help us in this regard so that we can able to check and fix this issue. Thanks.

    To check whether mail is generated you can create dynamic break-point with SAAB transaction.
    Using this transaction you create a memory area for your jobs where you can load any data value of your report..
    Probably something goes wrong with COMMIT of Mail Function module system.

  • Mail not being sent for background job spool

    Hello All,
    I have created a back ground job by adding a mail id in the spool receipient list. The job has finished successfully and spool is created but the mail has not been sent I have checked SOST transaction and no mail has been sent to this mail id.
    This is only happening for some jobs other jobs are able to successfully send the spool as mails to the mail id's mentioned in spool receipient list.
    I would like to know why this is happening only for some jobs and how can I check the whether mail has been generated or not.

    Using this transaction you create a memory area for your jobs where you can load any data value of your report..

  • Problem in using of some code in QA11 Tocde

    hi all,
         I want to debeg one function module at the time of using QA11 Tcode. I am using Function Module that is FIELD_EXIT_QPLOS
    ( This is Field Exit). I am putting dynamic break point and i am trying to run QA11 T code but it is not going to bebugging mode.

    System Debugging
    If you set this option, the Debugger is also activated for system programs (programs with status S in their program attributes). When you save breakpoints, the System Debugging setting is also saved.
    Update Debugging
    Update function modules do not run in the same user session as the program that is currently running in the ABAP Debugger. These function modules are therefore not included in debugging. Only if you select the Update Debugging option can you display and debug them after the COMMIT WORK.
    Normal Debugging
    Normal debugging is the one we do it by the normal dynamic break points or by /H or by using stattic break points.

    Hi Gurus,
    I am trying to understand Time management concepts, pls help me on the following -
    1) what is factory calendar, and special rules in factory calendar, and how is it different from holiday calendar.Is factory calendar applicable only to factories or to normal organisations under any circumstances?
    2)  I am trying to understand reference time in defining dynamic breaks in break schedules and i came across planned working time and normal working time. What is the difference between planned working time and normal working time?

    *You do that using a special rule for the calendar. SCAL is the transaction code. Click the Maintain button then select the Factory calendar radio button and press the change (pencil) button.*
    *Select your calendar then press the change (pencil) button again. Click on the Special rules button then the Create button (paper). Enter the From and To date(s) [same date if only one day] then if it WILL be a work day check the Workday field and you will need to enter Text.*
    *If, for example, the day is a normal workday and you want to shut down for that date (or date range), this time leave the Workday check box empty.*
    *Click the paper button when you're done entering the data then the save button (or the F-11 key). You're done.*
    *This is configuration data therefore configuration for SCAL and SCA6_U must be allowed in your profile.*
    also can u help me with the DWS class concept, i know DWS class 0 is for off days but what abt others 1-9, are they customer specific, and where are the DWS classes defined, i mean table name.

    2.the break-point is not valid in scripts.
    3.utilities --->activate debugger or rstxdebug.

    To add more on above reply,
    Positive time or Negative Time. with or without time evaluation. How many PSA whether all have same type of work schedules, quotas and time management aspects.
    Holiday Calendar: Query on Holiday characteristics like, floating holiday, distance to Easter, Movable holiday, Etc.
    Holiday class:
    Day type: whether particular holiday is paid, unpaid.
    Breaks: Variable breaks, fixed breaks, dynamic breaks or overtime breaks.
    Daily work schedule: start and end time, core timing.
    Period work schedule: rotating shift - how many weeks, daily work schedule for 2nd week. , normal shift
    Quota: How many Quotas, Base entitlements, how it has to get deducted?
    when it has to get accrued. is there any condition for getting accrued.
    How they want to generate the Quota manually or through report.
    Please let us know incase you require any further clarification.
