But the same configuration is working in XI 3.0 & SP 19. (The PI 7.0 configuration scenario exported/imported into XI3.0 as a TPZ file). So there is no chance for "trailing spaces".

Only i shaw those parameters which i used in my stored procedure, the parameter which i create dynamic using stored procedure
is not shown to me when i referesh the report for viewing the results.

Dynamic Parameters in Action
My question is that whether dynamic parameter is working with storedprocedure or not.
When i added one table and try to fetch records using dyanmic prameters. after that i am not be able to find the dynamic parameter option when i referesh my report.
One more thing when i try the static parameter for my report, the option i see when i referesh the screen.

I have tested the issue step by step by following you description, while the first issue works well in my local environment. Based on my research, this can be caused by the lookup expression or it indeed return Male value based on the logic. If you use the
expression below, it will indeed only return the Male record. So please try to double-check the record in the two datasets and the expression in your environment:

As to the second issue, please try to use the following expression:

Besides, if this issue still exist, in order to trouble shoot this issue more efficiently, could you please post both the .rdl file with all the size properties to us by the following E-mail address? It is benefit for us to do further analysis.

Premiere Pro to Adobe Audition Dynamic link does not work. Cannot edit audio in Audition.

Trying to edit Audio from Premiere Pro within Audition thru the Dynamic link but it does not fire up Audition to edit. Seems like a common problem/bug. But no one has posted a solution. Please Help

You dont understand it was all working fine in the previous Adobe versions. matter of fact you can go on youtube and see a couple of videos that shows the work flow between Premiere Pro and audition by way of Dynamic link. If you edit a video clip in Premier Pro and want to add some music or simply edit the audio that is contained in the video there was a time within Premiere Pro you can just right click "Edit in Adobe Audition" and Audition would open with the audio clip in place. Much in the same way Premiere Pro works with After Effects thru the Dynamic Link. The Dynamic Link is the bridge between applications to work with each other. For some reason Premiere Pro and Audition Dynamic Link is not working properly.

Cascading Dynamic Parameters Do Not Work In Crystal Viewer 2008?

I have generated a report with Crystal Reports 2008 that uses a dynamic cascading parameter. I work in waste management and the report I create in Crystal is used as a "template" with the tonnages collected from all of our customers. Our less technically minded employees can then open this report with Crystal Reports Viewer 2008, use the drop down menus to select only the customer they need a report for and then export this to PDF for delivery.
The report as designed works perfectly in Crystal Reports, but the parameter does not work in Crystal Viewer.
Some of our customers have more than one physical location that we service. The cascading dynamic parameter in my report allows you to select the customer name, and then it only shows the locations linked to that customer, so the end user can select only the relevant location(s) for the report. The cascading parameter is dynamic and allows multiple selections, and is linked to a Saved Data formula. The report is saved with the data.
When the report is opened in Viewer, one of two things happens. If the report is saved in Crystal Reports and a specific customer/location is selected, then ONLY those selected customer/locations are available in the Viewer. If ALL the customers/locations are selected in Crystal Reports and saved, then in the Viewer they are all available, but selecting one customer does NOT narrow down the locations (i.e. it does not "cascade") and instead ALL of the locations are available even if they do not apply to the customer.
If I use a single dynamic parameter and select ALL of the customers (for example), then when this is opened in Crystal Viewer all of the customers are available from the parameters drop down and the report works fine. As soon as this is tried with a cascading parameter however, Crystal Viewer falls down.
Does anyone know of a workaround to this or if there is something I am doing wrong?

I am using the free Crystal Report 2008 Viewer along with designing reports with Crytal Reports ver 12.3. With a test file from SAP called "Interactive Parameters", the parameter feature works to refresh the report. The parameters that are supplied in the sample report work with Viewer. They show up under the parameter list in the parameter side panel in Viewer and are available to make record selections. When I add a parameter to the sample report in Crystal 2008 and then view the report in Viewer, my parameters are unavalable for record selection while the original parameters remain available. Futher, my parameters are displayed under a section called "Current Data Set" in the Parameter side panel, while the selectable parameters are displayed under the "Parameter" section in the parameter side panel. There must be a setting that is treating the parameters I create differently form the parameters created in the original sample report. Any help would be appreciated.

Why is my symbol loaded dynamically from library not working?

The code in "Example1" work fine if the video symbol is located on the stage. But what I'm trying to do is load the video symbol from the library dynamically and that doesn't work as illustrated in "Example2".
My question is why does Example1 work and Example2 not work?

Crystal Reports dynamic parameter does not work in InfoView

We have developed Crystal Reports in CR2008 on top of SAP infoset and we have one of our selection parameter as dynamic parameter. It works fine in the CR Dev tool but when i upload the report in the InfoView, report does not show any value in the "Available Values"

I did found the solution for this, i had to go into Business View Manger (BO Client Tools) and Schedule the LOV (List of Values). This is odd setting! but it works....

Populating Text Field using Dynamic Actions is not working

I've a Select List (P14_ACCOUNT) and Text Field (P14_BILLING_ADDRESS_1) on a form. On selecting a value on the Select List, I've to populate the Text Fields by fetching its values from the database by using the Select List value as the primary key. To do this, I created a Dynamic Actions (Advanced) on the Select List, with event onchange and Set Value as SQL. However this is not working.
Below are the sqls of Select List and Dynamic Action respectively:

The session state for items, when SQL is used, is set using the Page Items to Submit parameter as has been set in your application.

does it show in the demos ? It's unusual that something doesn't show without an error message. Its hard to guess what the prolem is, but since you don't get Java errors in the Jinitiator panel, the Jar file seems to be there or the Bean conatiner doesn't reference it in his implementation property. However, even if you have a misspelled reference of the Java class in teh implementation class property, the Jinitiator console would show a file not found error. Java Beans are initiated when the canvas that they are placed on shows. This means that setting Bean properties before initialization does not have an effect (as far as I know even this raises an error).
Which Jintiator version do you have? I am having 1.3.1.13 and experience some problem with the bean demos. It used to work with 1.3.1.9, which is the recommended version. Maybe your problem is similar.

Adobe Dynamic Link will not work - Premiere Pro CS4 to After Effects CS4

I am edited a video with a deadline, I'm importing a sequence from Premiere Pro CS4 to After Effects and making edits in After Effects. I'm able to import the Premiere Pro sequence into After Effects using Dynamic Link, but I go back to Premiere Pro and nothing has changed. Then I have to export the 21 minute long video in After Effects and that takes about 12 hours, that I can't afford. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, before I imported the timeline into AE, while I was in Premiere Pro I right clicked it and selected -Edit original. It took me to the .mov that I imported- since it's a redo. I learned how to use Dynamic Link from this tutorial-

At first when Dynamic link didn't work I thought it was because I was cutting the imported Sequence from Premiere Pro in After Effects becasue I was motion tracking. When you import a Premier Pro sequence can you cut it into individual layers in After Effects?

That doesn't create the type of Link you want here. In this case, changes made to PP would show up in AE. You want the reverse. (And you can only go one way, not both.)

Dynamic image does not work in the template builder plug-in (Apex-BI Intgr)

Hi all, I posted this problem in the BI Publisher topic but nobody responded maybe this is because mods thought this is an Apex-BI integration issue.
If I'm in the wrong place, please do warn me.
The documentation says:

I use Apex' report query tool and My query is like
select 'http://www.google.com.tr/images/firefox/mobiledownload.png' IMAGE_LOCATION from ... (a single result set for my template)
the xml data is generated with an IMAGE_LOCATION tag. I load it to word template plug-in. The Url successfully displays in the report if I make it a plain-simple field.
But when it's in the image format->web->alt text as url:{IMAGE_LOCATION} no image displayed.
I need to keep this design procedure simple so a simple word user could design a report via using just template builder plug-in. I don't wish to explore the xsl-fo area...yet.
Could you tell me why I can't get this url:{IMAGE_LOCATION} to work?

when you see the URL corrently as long as you have it as a plain text field, the XML tag and the
referencing seem to be OK.
Here are two thought - the issue might be one of these ...
How did you insert the dummy image into the word document - did you do it via "insert" or
via "link to file". "Link to File" does not work - you must choose the simple "insert".
Another one: Does your BI Server have a connection to the internet - is the proxy server correctly set ..?

Dynamic IP Address not working on MBP

Hello:
I am experiencing a problem with my MacBook Pro not being able to assign an IPv4 IP Address when "Using DHCP" is selected for either a wifi or ethernet connection. In order to be able to connect either device, I have to manually add an address (i.e., 192.168.0.36) & use "Using DHCP with manual address" instead.
It is interesting to note that all other devices on my home network work perfectly and all use DHCP and have addresses assigned to them. These devices include iPad's, iPhone's, AppleTV, etc... The only device that does not work is my MacBook Pro. Thinking it was a network issue, I reset my DSL router as well as my Airport Extreme to default settings and re-configured my network. This proved to be of no use.
Has anyone else expierienced this issue and know a possible solution?

If you have the public on the WAN of the router, you do not need it on the server. The server wants to be a static on the same range as the LAN of the router. If you have the router LAN set as 192.168.1.1 (which is the default of most out there)
you want the IP of the server to be something like 192.168.1.10, with the same subnet mask of the LAN of the router (Usually 255.255.255.0) and the Default Gateway of the server to be the LAN IP of the router (in this example: 192.168.1.1). For DNS,
you probably want to set the LAN IP of the router, as the router should send any requests to the public DNS set by the ISP.
This should get the server back online.

VPN Client and Dynamic isakmp keys not working

I'm trying to enable DMVPN endpoints from dynamic IP addresses, e.g. adding in:
crypto isakmp key XXXXXXX address 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 no-xauth
The problem is when I add this line, it breaks our remote VPN Client. Removing the line makes everything work fine again, except I can't add a DMVPN endpoint that has a dynamic IP.
Presently all DMVPN spokes have static IP addresses configured and individual keys for each (I'm trying to simply/cut down our config and use a single key for all of them plus enable staff from home on dynamic IP's).
I can't tell if this is an IOS bug, or if I need to configure something differently.
Our VPN client is configured as a dynamic map, e.g.:
crypto isakmp client configuration group vpnclient
key RAH RAH RAH
etc.
crypto isakmp profile vpnclient
   match identity group vpnclient
   client authentication list vpnuser
   isakmp authorization list vpngroup
   client configuration address respond

What IOS Version are you using ? I don't see any reason that this command would break Remote VPN Connectivity.
Maybe you can try
crypto isakmp key XXXXXXX address 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 (remove the no-xauth, as it's not needed).
Otherwise, you may share output of debug crypto isakmp to see exactly what is failing when the remote users are connecting.

}The JSP does this: set the mgr variable, which is passes to the tag, the tag then creates an instance of IrCollection using that mgr variable. (Yes, putting that populateCollection() method call in the setMgrid() method is probably Bad Practice, but it works, usually). The IrCollection objects builds an ArrayList of InquireCollection objects from an Access database. It then sets it's size property based on how many InquireCollection instances it put into the ArrayList. Once that's all done, the tag spits out 2 things: The size property and the mgrid property.
When I view the JSP, it gives me 0 for the size and Chris Novish for the mgrid.
I think this could be one of the following:
*Not finding any matching records of the database
*Not actually executing the populateCollection() method
*some how forgetting the information it put into that ArrayList?
I"m sure there's another possibility, but I don't know.
Here's what gets me. Here's a test class I made called TestCollection:

You have defined a session scope for that bean. You have to make sure that the bean is instantiated by this jsp and not earlier. If the bean is located in the session because it was set earlier, then the body tags within useBean are not evaluated.

An easy way to test it would be to change the scope of the bean to request.

Payload Swap bean not working

Hi All,
We are working on PI 7.11. We are trying to retrieve the attachments from the mails and convert them into files. We have enabled Keep Attachments in sender mail adapter. For swapping the payload we used payload swap bean. We referred the below blog

We are just trying with XML attachments.
The problem now is the payloads are not swapping. The file contains only the body of the mail not the attachment. I dont know what I'm missing. Please advice
