Dynamic display of the Company Name based on Org

Hello All,
I need to dynamically display the Company name based on the Org_id and the ORG is not being populated in the XML data file. How do i achieve this,please let me know.

It's like getting something from nothing (data template)... If you do not want to modify your report, then Vetri's option will be fine(your going to add not modify)...
Or,. define a new Oracle report based on the seeded one then do modify...

Dynamic change in the query name based on user input

Hi Gurus,
In a scenario, country appears as a user input variable.When the user specifies his country, the same query displays <b>Business trends</b>' data pertaining to his own country and rest of the world(international) in two tables.The reports are developed using Web application designer.
Can the name(description) of the query be changed so that the user input value for country gets dynamically reflected in the query name like <b>Business trends:Selected country vs International</b>?

ya this can be done by text variables. create a text variable( replacement path on the country infoobject) by going to the query properties on the description.
if the user enters country value then it will be displaed on the description of the query .
assign points if useful .

Is there a way of having the email name show and not the Company name.

I have a few address listing for Companies that have 7 or 8 names.
I have them listed with the custom names for each person separately.
I really do not need separate e-mail listings for each person.
Is there a way that would list the individuals name on the email header and not the Company name.
IOW's : ABC company and a listing for John Smith shows ABC when I mail it.
I gather also that it would show ABC when John Smith received it.
I am trying to give it a more personal touch without creating dozens of additional address's.

Thanks for replying Dan, you're right, I should provide more context.
I want to be able to duplicate a shape inside a layer a number of times, and with every duplicated shape, I want that shape to evaluate what number it is (based on a name I give it so I could name it '1' and then use something like 'eval(propertyname)' to return a number or perhaps use an index to count the number of shapes in the layer) and multiply that number by some set of rules that I can define and control through a list of expression controls on another layer. This would allow me to duplicate a square 10 times and have each square's position do something like
x = thisShapeNumber + shapeLength * TranslateExpressionControl;
y = 0;
[x,y]
which would form a long line of squares for instance. Does that make sense?

Email PO - Has anyone configured the Company Name in the Subject Email?

Hi experts,
I have configured the following in the subject of the email for all of our PO's being sent via email.
PO &EKKO-EBELN& - &EKKO-BUKRS&
This shows the PO Number and the Company Code in the subject line. My clients do not want the Company Code to go into the subject becuase it is meaningless to our vendors / suppliers. I need to find out how I can add the company name into the subject.
NOTE: We have more than 1/2 dozen company names.

How do u get the company name to come up when someone calls you?

I've recently got the iPhone and have many of my work contacts in with first name only and then company name. All that displays when a call comes in is their first name and not the company name which is really frustrating... Does anyone know an app or setting to display company name when a call comes in? Cheers

Third-party apps can't affect things like that, so you'd need to send a feature request to Apple:

on the Mac, in Address Book, there is a "Company" box I can check, and so I do have some company names showing up as the key info in contacts and on the call screen. But mostly I don't also have personal names for those numbers, so I don't know if even that works as you want--I suspect it would not show the personal name in such a case. And I can't find any equivalent of that box in the iPhone Contacts.

Data being Displayed while the Account Name not getting Displayed in FR

We are facing a strange issue when is user is trying to run a Hyperion Financial report. The data and Entity Name is being displayed whereas the Account name is not being displayed for a particular entity. The user has access to the Entity and accounts. Any Clues ??

The first thing that pops to my mind is does the format of the cell have Replace checkbox checked with a blank description. thus any results coming back will display as blank.
Also the customized header is check and it is showing blank.
A quick test if you have Smart View is can the user access the same data? if yes then the report has a filter of some sort, if the user cannot access the data in smart view, there is a security problem perhaps with the data

How can I sync only the company name with a sony cellphone

I've a problem to sync my adressbook with a sony cellphone.
In the adressbook there is sometimes only the company name and the phonenumber.
when I'm syncing with the sony cellphone the name looks like that " -, apple"
that's not what I want. Is there a way to repair this bug, or do I have to copy the company name into the surname field?

It's not a bug - it's a limitation of Sony Ericsson phones.
When programming the operating system of the phones, Sony Ericsson obviously took the decision to store contacts first and last names in one field not two.
So, unless you can persuade Sony Ericsson to change this operating system feature, and release upgraded firmware for all affected phones, you'll have to live with it.

Rename the Company Name in test company

I did the backup then restore database from SQL Server. I noticed the test company has same Company Name only the Database Name is different from Original Database Name.
Can I rename the Company Name to distinguish with the Original Database now? I get confused when I did some testing not even to users.

Problem on the company name field at ACH file

Dear Experts,
We have a problem at our ACH file.
There is no company name information (third column) at batch header record (Record type code = 5).
Do you know where this company information comes from?
FYI, we are using SAPFPAYM program.

Go Payment program Config FBZP, Then open payment method in Company Code. Open the relevant payment method for ACh in a company codes. Here you can expand the "Form Data" section, then then under the box "Drawer on the form" write the company name in the first row

Problem while displaying all the table names from a MS Access Data Source.

I started preparing a small Database application. I want to display all the Table Names which are in the 'MS Access' Data Source.
I started to executing by "Select * from Tab" as if in SQL.
But i got an error saying that "Not able to resolve Symbol 'Tab' in the query".

How do edit the company name in E-Sourcing

In our E-Sourcing system previously, we have created the data under the company name BOB but now we wanted change it to the different name. In the system setup I have edited the company name to different one but still when I create the RFX it shows only the hardcoded old company Name BOB.
Other than just editing the company name in the Setup do I need to anything else

always has the company name and signature prints at the
bottom of last page. If I use footer to handle this, then each
page will leave some space at the bottom. I cannot control the
company name and signature print at the bottom of last page,
it always print right after last order item printed out. Can
somebody teach me how do.

Try using a boiler texts out of the page margin, this will help
you, try the area where it prints the page number normally
