Dynamic input fields

I need to dynamically generate the input fields based on the results returned from the query. How do I name each input fields differently.
Eg:-)
Say I have 5 rows returned from EMP table. I need to generate 5 input fields to change their names??
How does the XSL script looks like??

F4 Help for a dynamic input field( class CL_DD_INPUT_ELEMENT)

Hi all,
I am programming a dynamic document which has several input fields on it. I want to program F4 helps for these fields, does anyone have an idea how I can do that?
I have the idea to program a button(class CL_DD_BUTTON_ELEMENT) next to the input field and manually program an F4 help in the event handler of the button. But I do not know how I can handle pattern entries with '*' etc. in the input field. Is there a function module which could give me an F4 list(F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST could not be used, because it needs a dynpro field as a return field, which we do not have in this case).

Interactive form -Dynamic input fields

Hi,
I am working with an interactive form.
After Userinputs a InputField1 it should populate Inputfield2 dynamically.
Lets Say if I enter a 01/01/2009 in input field1, second input field should be a week after date 01/07/2009.
How do we handle this ?

Select the InputField1 and goto Script Editor and select the Event type: "Change" and Language as "FormCalc" and in editor write the below code:
InputField2.rawValue = Num2Date(IsoDate2Num($.rawValue)+7,"DD/MM/YYYY")
Based on your requirement change the display pattern of both the date fields in the object pallette.
Note: Make both the fields as Date/Time Fields and not TextFields.

Dynamic input fields for Doc Props in Batch Mode; Acrobat Pro 9

I'm using Acrobat Pro 9. I'm looking for a way for Acrobat to automatically fill/replace the Title and Subject fields of the document properties with the file name of the PDF it is processing during batch mode. Currently I have this step set to interactive and must type the name in for each file as it is processed. Is there a script I can use? A macro? Heck! A Hack? It would literally take weeks off of my monotonous work load as the file names are long and there are thousnds of them to be processed.

If you want the file name with the path, you could add the following JavaScript:
title = path;
subject = path;
If you just want the file name:
var filename = path.split("/").pop();
title = filename;

   We can handle your requirement. I will give one example and it is working.
    Address - Node
     Firtst_Name-    Node attribute    and this attribute will have DDIC search help.
   Create Input field 'FIRSTNAME' for this attribute in screen with transparent container 'TC' and bind the above context to the UI element. Now this UI element is Context is 'ADDRESS.FIRSTNAME'.
Now add the below code in MODIFYVIEW hook method.The below code will add search help with read only input field but for display mode again you have to disable the search help for this field. i have not written code for that.

How to get the co-ordinates of a dynamically created input field

i have created a dynamic text view . but this text view is not appearing at proper position . I want palce it infront of a dynamically created input field . how can i do this ?
as i am thinking ...i should first of all get info about the co-ordinates of dynamaclly creatd input field . and with respect to these co-ordinates ...set the position of text View .

Hi,
There is no provision in WD for getting screen coordinates and then placing the UI element.
You to add the UI element to layout editor and based on the layout type it will add the UI element to respective position.
I would advice not to create dynamic UI elements( instead you can create them statically and then play with visibility status through context binding ). This will be more effective way and less error prone. This is also recommended practice.

Editable / Non editable input field CELL (individually) on ALV dynamically

I need more help with an issue.
I have an ALV table with three columns that is necessary put values into input field cell editors, but these cells should be editable or not depending of business logic. I've got make editable or non in entire ROW LEVEL (method set_read_only_fieldname( 'READ_ONLY' )., but ¿how can I set editable or non at individual cells?
Any idea to do that?

I don't know how can I bind enabled property dynamically to individual CELL, I'm setting properties to whole column.

You can define Dynamic entry list for Drop down list and combo box but not for input field.

I was wondering whether one can dynamically enable/disable input fields on a selection screen of a report-program.
Or is this only possible for selection screens in dynpro-programs?

Automatically fill input fields based on selection from dynamic drop down

I tried to search before posting, but i cannot find appropriate thread (maybe wrong keyword).
My scenario:
1. In my offline interactive form, I have:
    a. Material Number --> drop down field with "Allow Custom Text Entry" ticked
    b. 1 execution button to call web service
    c. Material Group - Input Field (Read Only)
2. User will enter material number with wild card character (eg: ABC*).
    User will then click the execution button.
    Web Service in result will return all materials that match the entered material number.
    Dynamic binding will do the magic to generate the drop down list.
3. Beside material number, web service will also return material description and material group.
    Below is the illustration:
     Material        Description       Material Group
     ABC              Material ABC           GRP01
     ABCDE        Material ABCDE          GRP02
--- so far so good ---
My requirement:
Every time user select material from the drop down list, i want to auto-populate field "Material Group" (which value is also returned by web service).
I know i need to put the script on event change of the drop down field.
But i don't know how to read internal table returned by web service.
Hope someone can enlighten me.

Dynamic filling of input fields in a table

Hi,
There are input fields in a two tables these are to be filled parallely at run time. the no of entries depend on the entires in internal table.
If internal table has more entries, then a certain entries is filled up; say 9 times the control should be given to a new tables and the remaining entries should be filled in the input fields of other table .

Actually there is two HTML tables, each table has nine rows. if the no of entries in the internal table exceeds nine then the second table should be filled after the first HTML table has filled with all the nine entries.
Both tables contains same input fields. How to fill both tables dynamically. I think now it makes sense.

Dynamically applying OVS on input field

I have table with drop DropDownByKey UI element in one column. In all the other columns i have input field. Now based on the value of the DropDownByKey i have to apply the OVS on the input fields of the table column.
Now my question is how can i apply the OVS dynamically.
I can not change the properties of attributes, so want to change them dynamically.

Hi,
You can check the value of context attribute binded to dropdown(KEY) and accordingly formulate the Input structure and output table.
It seems that you have to do the data declecration in advance for all the possible values of dropdown.
If you want to avoid the data decleration in advance then i think you have to dynamically create the context node and attribute to acheive the functionality.
If you have limited values in DropDown then i think you can go with data decleration otherwise please try out with Dynamic context programming.
