Hi
Call Functionality (Account Call/ Contact Call) uses Activity object.We have dynamic layouts for Appointment and task ? Can we create dynamic layouts for Call ( For new Call / Auto Call)

Dynamic layouts are supported for Tasks and Appointments.

Hi Raja,
Basically, there should be a provision to create/modify a transaction and questions based on the response provided. So if a question is asked in a survey and the response is "Yes", the next question should be different to the one for a "No" answer. Similarly there should be a provision to create actions based on responses.

Dynamic MOH for call

We are using ucce 8.0.2, cvp 8.0.1 and cucm 8.0.3. Client is asking different MOH for multiskilled agents say for example; An agent is a member of skill group A,B,C and D. Now if the agent recieve a call for his/her B skill group and put the caller on hold it should play the hold music set for B skill group and If its is C then the hold music should be for the C skill group. Moreover client is using IP Communicator.
Is there any way to configure this either from CUCM or UCCE scripts.

Hi Loh,
The solution which David provided was conceptually correct. But instead of doing the CTIOS customization we used CUBE (the solution of using CUBE is costly comapare to CTIOS/Finesse cutomization). Currently the site is on production for last two years.
The attached High-Level diagram shows where we used L3 switch to help separate VLANs to contain multicast traffic to its own subnet. Layer-3 port on L3 switch toward CVP/UCCE networks would have multicast disabled (no PIM configuration).
Here ISR2901 is running as CUBE (flow-through mode) and converts multicast from 239.1.1.100 to unicast for calls coming from ISR3945. ISR2901-1 is on VLAN A1 and ISR2901 is on VLAN A2.
ISR3945 is running as Voice Gateways and VXML Gateways. In our test case, we only leveraged them as our VXML gateways.
ISR28xx has been used to simulate as calls are coming from PSTN.
MoH server running in virtualized environment. Each of its VM would be on different VLAN and use VLAN tagging on its Ethernet port to separate VLAN A1 and VLAN A2. VM1 will be on VLAN A1 and VM2 will be on VLAN A2.
Call Flow:
1. Calls are coming from one of the analog phones through ISR28xx and Based on DNIS, calls would be routed out of its dial-peer voip to specific ISR2901. In this sample, if call is coming for DNIS XXXXXXXXX, then call would be routed to ISR2901-1. If call is coming for DNIS YYYYYYYYY, then call would be routed to ISR2901-2.
2. ISR2901 has bootstrap configuration to send SIP invite to CVP for further instruction.
3. CVP will get label back from ICM to send call back to VXML Gateway (ISR3945) to start playing welcome prompt.
4. Once caller is done in IVR and ready to talk to agent, CVP will instruct ISR2901 to transfer call to agent.
5. When agent put caller on hold, they will hear music from ISR2901.

N8: no horizontal layout for calls?

I have a horizontal mounting for my N8 in the car. I like OVI maps much more in horizontal layout. But incoming calls seems to be displayed always in vertikal layout !?
Same for the dialing field if you click on "Make call" on the main window. There seems to be no horizonzal version.

Yes it is very hard to turn it around if it is mounted in a car kit in landscape view to be able to use OVI maps in landscape, which is great and much more better in landscape.
And it is a big lack that it is not possible to see the caller number and picture in a correct way.
And it is quite impossible to dial a number because the digit buttons are arranged in portrait mode.
(Nokia N8 is used with bluetooth car kit)

Dynamic layout elements determination logic for output of Pro-Forma Invoice

This is my requirement below. Please give the suggestion
Business requires output to be generated in name of the client, with client logo and scenario specific data elements. To do this in Standard SAP will require to define hundreds and hundreds of layouts. By making most of the client/scenario elements on the layout we can greatly reduce the number of required layouts and reduce implementatuion effort and lead-time.
     The goal is to define a generic table that will hold most of the dynamic layout elements for different document types and countries, including logo, sender address etc.
      For this we will create Z-versions of the output types BA00 ( Order Confirmation, ZPRI (Pro-Forma Invoice) and RD00 (ZD00 Invoice).The layout text blocks will be permanently fixed.The print Program user-exit should call the Z-table that holds the dynamic layout elements and retrieve these elements and merge them with the matching layout text block.

   Even I have faced the similar situation.but what we have done is instead of calling the dynamic text elements..Why don't we call the text elements based on the required condition ,Then u dont have to maintain all the text elements required in the table.In the table we can only have the doumnent type,client name,logo name and address.
In the print program if u r using script layout then call the required text elements (write_text) based on the client name and document type that is fetched from the Z-table,Otherwise if u r going for smartforms then with in the layout give the condition under the conditions node of the window or the text.

User exit for dynamic layout determination

Hello,
I would to know user exit name for dynamic layout determination for output type of Invoice and Order confirmation.
My user exit should get fired when user press the print preview button in VF03/VA03.

I dont' think you need a user exit, but you should manage that directly in print program.
Infact you can choose which output type has to be or not to be loaded in a document by an user exit.
But only in print program you can know if the user has choosen print or print preview.
So check in TNAPR which print program are used for orders or invoice and change them or, if they are std program, you can copy them before changing them.
After calling the sapscript (fm OPEN_FORM) or smartform you can know if user press printpreview by reading the structure of export (like ITCPP for example).

U can use one script in diffrent programs.
Yea u can do it in NACE transaction.
procedure would b as foloows:-
1.NACE
2.Select the apllication
3.Output types (press tab).
4.again selet the output type which u require
5.then press "procedure routines"
here u can give the program name and fom name.

I have already used default layout and need another one for outbound calls.

Use the default layout for outbound calls, and create a separate custom layout for all other types of calls.

Javascript event for Dynamic Layout change

I'm using javascript to create a customization for a client and I ran into the following problem:
- My code runs by replacing the window.load event, it always run when a page is loaded but it doesn't run when the dynamic layout changes.
Does anyone know which event I can customize so that it runs always??
The dynamic layout change is driven by the following internal code, but I can't make my code run after it:

Webdynpro Dynamic layout manipulation: error attaching elements to Group

Hi Experts,
I am trying to create dynamic layout during run time. Itu2019s working partially, but as soon as I add new u201CGroup elementu201D or new u201CTransparent elementu201D I am getting a null error. If I just use buttons, input field or text dynamically layout create it works fine. I want to group this fields in a groups or transparent container so that I can manipulate layout place containers where I need. As soon as I add other element (inputfield/button/text) to transparent element it errors. I have attached code below for more detail. Does anyone have similar issue? Lot of demo and example code show how to create elements (inputfield/button/text) none show how attach those element back to u201DGroupu201D or u201CTransparentu201D element.
I am creating dynamic elements in u201CViewu201D method u201CWDDOMODIFYVIEWu201D. Any idea or clue much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I suggest you create a transparent container at design time and then use the below code in wddomodify to get a reference to the transparent container.

How do you dynamically add layout to a group/transparent container. Set it to something like Gridlayout with col values etc.

U can create UI elements dynamically.For designing layout dynamically use the dynamic layout manipulation correctly, you must understand the structure of a view:
In a view, a number of UI elements is laid out in relation to one another. This is done in so-called containers. To describe it, a layout is selected for every container: FlowLayout, MatrixLayout, or RowLayout exist (see reference documentation, chapter Layout).
Every UI element has layout data, in accordance with the embedding container. This layout data contains the description, at which position in the layout of the container an embedded UI element has its place.

Dynamic Configuration for two file adapters communication channels

Hello Experts!!!!!!
     In one of the interface in my landscape, I am using two file adapters for creating two files with different names and at two different destination on F.T.P.
However the receiver service for both the communication channel are same.
In message mapping I am using multi mapping to create two files out a single message.
Now i have a requirement of changing file path and file name using dynamic configuration for both the comm channel.
When i doing dynamic coniguration for both the comm. channel. My interface is creating two files but with same name and on same destination which is set for second communication channel through dynamic configuration.
Here, I guess the second dynamic configuration is over writing the first dynamic configuration and hence creating two files with same name and at same destination.
Please suggest, if separate dynamic configuration for separate communication channel of same receiver service can be done?

    Is there any way, By which in dynamic configuration I can find out the communication channel name and then change its parameter.
I mean if iam using say comm. channel A and B.
Then in dynamic configuration for A, I will first take communication channel A by calling it and then change its path/file name.
and then do samething for comm. channel B in its dynamic conf.

Acrobat X Pro Missing Grid with File Preview Layout for Portfolios

In Acrobat 9 Pro, there was a Portfolio layout called Grid with File Preview. We use it as our primary layout for PDF portfolios because it allows users to rapidly view PDFs within a portfolio. This was our primary reason for using Portfolios. Unfortunately, this important feature was removed in Acrobat X Pro resulting in clunky and very slow PDF viewing.
Adobe needs to immediately reinstate Grid with File Preview into Acrobat X Pro. Until this happens, I will continue to use Acrobat 9 Pro.
I encourage everyone to use the Feature Request/Bug Report Form to submit this as a Bug. Unless everyone complains, nothing will happen.
