Dynamic Product Proposals (Delete items?)

Hi
We have dynamic product proposals configured which works ok, though does anyone know if it's possible to 'delete' an item from a product proposal?

Hi Thanks for your suggestion, though VA52 doesn't allow you to delete an 'ITEM' for 'dynamically' created product proposals.  We don't want to actually delete the proposal, just an item.  Any suggestions?

    In item proposal when u enter the details in the sales document you have to click on propose items to get the list
    the customer regularly purchases.
    While in dynamic product proposal once you specify the sold to party and press enter , system automaticall gives you
    the list of the materials the customer regularly purchases, it a faster way of entry than item proposal.

  • Why can't I delete items from  my iPod (and not from my library)- I tried creating a playlist as manual suggested but this no longer works,  any ideas?

    Previous to latest changes in iTunes I have been able to delete items on my iPod by simply clicking on and deleting when prompted for action by right click.  This has become impossible and even the instructions to creat a playlist by clicking on "add to" no longer work.  I seem to be unable to delete anything unless I delete it from my iTunes library.  Anyone out there know the solution or working on the problem?  Seems to me that if the product wasn't broke Apple should not fix it.....they should stop tinkering with it, please.

  • Can't delete item once added...

    Just reporting this...(finding lots of buggy issues the past two days...is Muse a Preview Product?)
    Environment: WIndows 7
    Steps:
    1. Added Horizontal Menu to Site
    2. Select "Manual"
    3. Link to anchor
    4. Try to delete menu (Using Edit > Cut and Edit>Clear. Can't delete menu.
    5. Went to layers to trash Menu. Highlight selected menu > Can't delete item.
    I was finally able to delete after dragging the menu to the bottom of the site and hitting DELETE on my keyboard several times.

                   Or you can go to the music on your ipod go to the song put your fingure on it an slide it to the left u should get a red delete button.

  • How does the EDB handle deleted items and why am I only able to recover some and not all previously deleted emails?

    Hello,
    I have been unable to locate information regarding how the EDB handles deleted files.  I am able to recover deleted emails from the EDB; however, there are numerous emails that I know have been deleted, that were not recovered during the recovery process.
     Is this because the EDB dumps deleted emails once it reaches a certain amount of entries?  Or is it more likely the deleted items are corrupted and thus not recoverable?  Thank you for your time and I look forward to your responses.  The
    product in question is Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.

    Great information from the other posters and one other possible explanation is if the users did a HARD DELETE.  More information on this below
    Pre-Exchange 2010 Dumpster 1.0 worked as follows;
    1. When a user does a normal delete of an item via Outlook or OWA it gets sent to your deleted items folder
    2. If the user then empties deleted items folder those items are then marked with the ptagDeletedOnFlag attribute which in essence hides them from the view of the user
    3. At this point the user can use the Recover Deleted Items function in Outlook to recover those items as long as the items were NOT purged using the Recover Deleted Items option OR the items have not passed still the deleted item retention period.
    NOTE: Every day there is a nightly maintenance process that in short looks through  the DB and examines items that have been deleted. Items that have met or exceeded the deleted item retention period are purged from the system and are
    completely non-recoverable.  More about this at the end of my post.
    4. However if the end user were to  delete an item from the Inbox or another folder in Outlook by using Shift + Delete aka a Hard Deletion the item is left in its orignal location and gets marked with the ptagDeletedOnFlag attribute which again just
    hides it from view.
    5. By default you can only use the Recover Deleted Items option on the Delted Items folder.  Howeve you can make it so that you can recover hard Deleted items from other folders.  More on that here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/246153
    5. The problem with this method though IMO is that you have to know where to look and that can be rather time consuming.
    6. If you want a more elegant method to resolve this and are open to using 3rd party utilities check out Lucid8's DigiScope. 
    http://www.lucid8.com/product/digiscope.asp which will allow you to open any offline copy of the DB from a forensic point of view and to solve your specific issue you can either turn on a filter to ONLY
    show hard deleted items OR you can search the entire store and all mailboxes for just deleted items and can then view or export them to PST or MSG format.  You can download the product and obtain a 30 day demo license which will allow you to find any
    hard deleted items, however to view them or export your would need to purchase a license.
    NOTE: When a database is backed up or copied it is an "Offline" database and then its offline the data retention period is not an issue because the nightly online maintenance process can only act on a database that is mounted on an
    Exchange server.  So for this reason if you want to recover the most data possible use offline copies/backups of the DB with a 3rd party utility like DigiScope
    NOTE 2: Exchange 2010 and 2013 use Dumpster 2.0 which is an entirely different beast and I will not go into that in this post since its nearly 1AM  however DigiScope can expose that information as well

  • SCSM 2012 UR3 - "The Full adapter threw an exception" error when viewing "Deleted Items" view

    Has anyone expereinced the "The Full adapter threw an exception" eror in the SCSM 2012 console? 
    We get the error in both our dev and production environments when trying to view the "Deleted Items" view in the console (even after using powershell to remove all deleted iterms).  As just noted, interestingly enough we can view, delete, and restore
    deleted items using the corresponding Powershell commands.  It should be noted that neither of our two SCSM 2012 environments has a registered data warehouse server.  Below is a screen shot of the error as well as the associated error text and event
    log errors.
    Any help would be greatly apprecaited!

    I've been trying to create a portlet that displays items (titles + edit- and delete-links) and I got so far as to be able to create the edit-link and that seems to work. The edit link is as follows (p_news is an wwsbr_all_items%rowtype)

    The API calls are normally executed within scripts but you could obviously call them from a PL/SQL item as well.
    The API call works fine in 10.1.4.2. Did a simple test :

    Calling the API directly through your browser is tricky. I tried it and got the following error first :

    portal.wwsbr_api.delete_item: PROCEDURE DOESN'T EXIST
    This is normal as the procedure is executed by PORTAL_PUBIC. Granting execute privileges on wwsbr_api to public did not help. The error message changed to :

    In this case, you probably need to wrap the wwsbr_api.delete_item() procedure into your own procedure and call this from your portlet.

    Currently we are implementing CRM 4.0 we want to display product proposals in webshop and in web client in the same manner as we dispaly the Item proposals in R/3.
    Can anyone plz let me know the all configuration steps need to be perform in CRM to achieve the product proposals in detail? or if you have any documentation can you plz share with me?

    1     Optional Configuration
    1.1     Product Proposals
    Product proposals can be defined for certain target groups and marketing profiles, so that the appropriate product proposals are only applied if the business partners that select these products belong to a certain target group or if they correspond to the marketing profile defined in the rule.
    Based on a method schema that you have created in Customizing, you can define the product lists and product association rules that determine when the product proposal is displayed.
    More details about settings for product proposals can be found in the CRM Master Data Configuration Guide.
    1.1.1     Global Product Recommendations (Top N Lists)
    This function allows you to offer the best seller to all customers who enter your Web shop, irrespective of the target group that they belong to.
    Using a global target group as reference, certain products are proposed and presented in the form of a top-n product list. All Web Shop customers and visitors belong to the global target group.
    Prerequisites
    Make the settings of section Marketing Master Data and Product Proposal in the CRM Master Data Configuration Guide:
    Create a (dummy) target group (BP Global Product Recommendation).
    Create a Top N List and assign the target group.
    1.1.1.1     Assigning Target Group to Web Shop
    Use
    If you want to offer your customers the opportunity to maintain a customer profile in the Web Shop, you have to assign an attribute set to your Web Shop.
    Procedure
    1.     Access the activity using the following navigation options:
    Webbrowser     Maintaining Web Shops
    URL     http://<host>:<port>/shopadmin/shopadmin/init.do?scenario.xcm=<yourscenario>
    Caution: The parameter <yourscenario> is case-sensitive!

  • Need to save mails in Deleted Items on E72

    It is though Ovi mail has gone beserk, sending me messages I have already deleted. So I need to empty my intray online and on the two E72s I am using.
    But before I delete all, I have found some delted messages I want to keep, but can't find a way to move them - only option seems to be to empty the Deleted Items tray.
    Any ideas?

    I am working on ECC 6.0.
    When I am working with the Dynamic product proposal in the sales order for a customer who is asssigned
    active,the order quantity is not getting copied from the second sales order.However it is only copying the nelwy added materials
    and not the order quantity.
    It is only copying the order quantity of the materials which are existing in the first sales order.
    I am using the FM SD_DPP_HISTORY.
    Note : To copy the items entered in the previous sales order then I configured dynamic product proposal (DPP) in the IMG->SD->Basic Functions->Dynamic product proposal
    you can configure for online sales order creation or background sales order creation
    maintained the functional module SD_DPP_HISTORY in the access sequence of the product proposal procedure
    and maintained the PP cust. proc. (customer product proposal) in the sales area data ...

    Thx, but I’ve already assigned the value there and it does not work. All the settings in customizing under ‘Dynamic Product proposal’ are made. But when I enter a customer in VA01 nothing happens. And as I understand it based on customer and document type, automatically a proposal can be made. Instead of adding the proposal by hand, by selecting an item proposal.
    I read somewhere that you can activate product proposal but in the sales order screen (Edit – Display range – Product proposal active – inactive) , can not be used (light grey). There is something that I’am missing, but what…..?

  • Help please? Outlook 2011 stuck on 'updating message list' after deleting 1000's of emails from my 'deleted items' folder

    Hello.
    I've been searching online for an answer and can't find one - hopefully someone can help...
    I recently updated to Yosemite and decided on a general clear-out, so went through 1000's of documents, photos, emails, etc. I ended up deleting the all of the emails in my 'deleted items' folder. Since then, when I go into Outlook and hit the 'send/receive' tab it logs on as normal, but then gets stuck on 'updating message list' - it shows me that there are emails and how many, but will not download them.
    Does anyone have any experience of this?

    Hi,
    I would like to know if I can delete many items permanently from pages with pl/sql.
    The fastest way I can think is to expire all the products I want to remove with pl/sql pdk modify_item function and then purge the expired products of the page group from the web interface.
    Is there any other way to delete many items permanently with pl/sql ? Is it possible to purge the expired items of a page group with pl/sql ?
