Dynamic Recovery Solutions and odd DOFD

So I have a new collection on EQ Dynamic Recovery Solutions, and the OC is Checksmart. It was reported 7/2015 with a DOFD of 10/2014.   Roughly 7 to 10 years ago, I was stuck in the payday advance loop and routinely got advances from Checksmart. So I was a customer at one point. I got my last advance probably over 7 years ago, and can't recall if I ever paid it back or not. There's a good chance that I didn't, since at the time I was going thru a foreclosure and moved across the country.   My question is .. how can they have a DOFD of 10/2014 when I would have defaulted no later than 2008? I started a dispute on EQ's website immediately after learning of this .. should I do anything else?

    If you didn't back it up, your data is gone. There is no "solution" after the fact.

  • Dynamic region bugs and bad documentation

    I cannot get the second taskflow to behave correctly in a dynamic region.
    Here's my scenario:
    In the pursuit of resusablilty, I have two taskflows that are coming from ADF Library Jars into a master application.
    Both taskflows have their own associated application modules, which appear as data controls in the master project.
    Following the instructions in the Fusion Developers guide, I create a dynamic region and dynamic links.
    After swapping to the second task flow, when I click on a different table, I get an error that a target is unreachable:
    Target Unreachable, 'RoleId' returned null

    I posted the problem originally under this thread: [dynamic region errors
    and got a response that I didn't understand -- both taskflows have data-control-scope = shared.
    In contrast to the problem using a dynamic region, if I build a different page in the master application and use each taskflow as *separate* regions (via a tabbed panel), they work fine.
    So it doesn't seem there is anything wrong with the taskflows per se, but rather something in the dynamic region switching mechanism that is broken.
    I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has had similar problems or anyone who knows of a solution.

    Sorry for the earlier rant. I figured out the reason for the odd behavior and it has to do with the code generated by the wizard. This code isn't so much wrong as it is short-sighted. Here's the code generated for the managed bean by the wizards for creating a dynamic region and dynamic link that is put into *backingBeanScope*:

    The user is taken to the second task flow by clicking the link that executes the secondTaskflowtaskflow() handler, however, any subsequent requests take the user back to the first taskflow, i.e., the one assigned to the private instance variable, since that's how the wizard wrote the code. This explains why the table on the second taskflow displayed "Fetching Data . . .". The table's content delivery was set to lazy, so when the browser issued the AJAX request to get the data for the table, the task flow switched back to the first one and thus making the data unavailable. Changing the the content delivery attribute value to immediate, brings up the data initially, but any subsequent work on that taskflow routed the user right back to the first taskflow.
    I ended up fixing the problem by adding the TaskFlowId (data type) to the pageFlowScope map, so it would be remembered across requests until the user deliberately requests a different taskflow.

    Hi,
    chances are you are hitting a bug. But this is hard to say from here. If you want, we can further track the issue down. I suggest you exclude the use of ADF libraries and verify that the scenario works if the two taskflows work in the mentioned scenario of they are both defined in the project itself. If this works then it seems like a bug that should be filed. Can you verify this ?

    I need some detail solutions and suggests about below these problems:
    Problem 1: SAP Management Console cannot start successfully
    •     Problem 1.1: Click on SAP Management Console, but yellow light continues for a long period of time.
    •     Problem 1.2: In DOS, startsap command cannot start SAP R/3.
    •     Problem 1.3: Oracle 9i database automatically shutdown by itself.
    •     Problem 1.4: There is very low disk storage left (say less than 50MB) in the hard disk where Oracle 9i database is installed in the server.
    Problem 2: Problems in User Maintenance and Security of the SAP R/3 System
    •     Problem 2.1: Super user account password was lost (e.g. SAP* password was lost)
    •     Problem 2.2: Super users DDIC and SAP* were dropped in table usr02 in Oracle.

  • Can't get iPhone 4s out of recovery mode and always get error 40 during restore

    I tried updating to ios 6.1.2 and I left it for a while since I had to do some stuff. When I came back, my iPhone is in recovery mode and I can't get it to restore using itunes. I always get error 40. I tried restoring on a different pc but it's still a no go. Is it possible that this has something to do with the hardware? I've already looked up possible solutions but my iphone's still in recovery mode. I never had this phone opened nor did I attempt to jailbreak it or anything. I tried asking my carrier for assistance but they're charging me for repairs. The fee's pretty expensive.

  • Can i delete my recovery drive and create a new one? (HP Envy m6 ko25dx)

    Hi, I have an HP envy m6 ko25dx that I had some issues upgrading from Windows 8 to 8.1. I was getting stuck at a black screen on start up. I had to contact HP support by phone and they ended up sending me a flash drive with factory recovery data. When I went through the process of getting my computer working again, one of the steps affected the recovery partition on drive D: to store the data from the flash drive in order to proceed. I finished the process and got my computer back to Windows 8. After completing that, I now have a problem. When clicking on file explorer, the D: drive shows as almost full but when I click on it to view files, it says "this folder is empty" . When I go to computer management-storage-disk management, I have 2 recovery drive D:'s. One shows NTFS for file system, while the other has a blank and they are both 11% free (89% full). Also, there are 3 other un-named volumes; 2 have a status of "healthy (recovery partitions)" and 1 has a status of "healthy (EFI system recovery)". Those un-named volumes are a total of 1,100 mb's (1.1 gb) and they are each 100% free. The only thing that shows when i right click all of those volumes, D and un-named, is help and when I click that, it is in fact, not helpful. When I right click the C: drive, it shows: open, explore, mark partition as active, etcetera... Is there a way for me to access and move the un-named volumes back to C:? And is there a way for me to delete the D: drive data and re-create the recovery data from this point?  A week ago I dared to try upgrading from 8 to 8.1. During the process it was recommended that I create a recovery set but was unable to so due to the full D: drive and the fact that i didn't have an external storage large enough. I decided to update the drivers and proceed without creating the recovery set or creating a volume large enough from the space I have on C:. When the computer was done with installing and updating everything it could, it got stuck on a black screen again, this time with the cursor and the ability to access the task manager with Ctrl+Alt+Del. I had to use that to manually download the Windows 8.1 drivers since it wasn't possible to do it from 8. 8.1 is now working. I keep getting warnings about D: being so full and I understand having a nearly full drive affects computer performance. If more information is needed, please let me know.     All the "drives" you see are part of Windows 8 and HP's factory installation. The recovery partition is designed to return the computer to a factory like state and nothing more. You cannot delete the D: drive "HP Recovery" partition and recreate an updated recovery image. The following image shows the factory installed partitions on my HP 13 Split x2;

  • IPod Touch 4g stuck in recovery mode and lock button broken

    A few days ago my lock button stopped functioning, and seeing as I'm not brave enough to try and fix it myself and I haven't been able to take it to get fixed anywhere yet, I just enabled the internal lock button feature and, frankly, hoped for the best. This afternoon I connected it to iTunes because after updating to iOS 6 too many things have been going wrong. There was an error message (I can't remember which one :S) but stupidly I decided to restore it (mainly in the hope that iOS 6 would sort itself out I guess). Once it had finished extracting files, there was another error message, which again I can't remember, but it was something along the lines of iPod cannot be restored basically. Then it went into recovery mode, and I've been unplugging, plugging in, shutting down my computer and all sorts of things all evening. As far as I can tell, the only way out of recovery mode is to hold the lock button and the home button down for thirty seconds ish until the apple logo comes up. Except my lock button doesn't work. I guess I'll just try and get it fixed this weekend but if there are any other solutions that would be awesome! Thanks!

    - Let the battery fully drain and try again to restore after charging for at least an hour.
    - Try on another computer

    I don't think I back uped anything. I assume it was already going to do that like most times..
    I downloaded and updated the phone with the iOS6, but then an error occurred saying that the phone can't be updated. It then turned into recovery mode and suggests that the only way to use the phone is if I restore it.. which I really can't do! I still have lots of photos..
    Please, I regret not having backing up just in case, but is there any way to somehow 'undo' the recovery mode and bring it back to normal (regardless of which iOS it has)? Please, I really would appreciate a solution, any solution.

    What's wrong with you guys.. you must ALWAYS back it up before anything major like this.
    If it's not too late, and i do not know if this will work or not.. but download something like TinyUmbrella or any program that will allow you to kick it out of Recovery Mode and back to regular. May or may not work but worth a shot.

    My son let one of his friends use his ipad. The next time he tired to use it he could not get it unlocked, I tired to unlock it but it kept telling me that I had the wrong pass code. With out me knowing my son continued to tire until it completely disabled it self.

    ‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
    Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
    I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
    Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
    1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
    2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
    3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
    4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
    5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
    6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
    7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
    8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
    If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

    This way I don't have dynamic collumns issue, and from business side, this ''string'' format works for them.

    hi i have a hp pavillion g6-2106nr i made recovery disks for it , but every time i try to use the to gain my recovery partiton back it keeps asking for drivers which i thought was saved on the recovery disks that i made for there is a total of 10 dvd recovery disks for my computer but they are proving worthless how do i recreate the recovery partiton to where when need be all i have to do is hit f11 to restore my computer with out needing a winodws7 disk and having to install the drivers one by one do i need to purchase the recovery disks from hp  to get this accomplished my computer is currently underwarrenty and i am a computer tech but i never actually intalled a recovery partition on a computer but im sure im missing something or my disks are crap please tell me what im doing wrong so i can fix it and make it back to factory original programing as when it came out of the box

  • Windows 8 Deleted Recovery Partition and Saved but No Boot

    I ve Hp Pavilion G6 - 2336el , i bought it 5 months before and 2 days before i installed Ubuntu but by mistake ubuntu deleted all partitions (included recovery partition)  and created one for itself.
    by using DiskTest tool on ubuntu i recovered some files and full of recovery partition.
    after that, for re-install windows 8 from recovered partition , i did set partition bootable by using another tool which was running on ubuntu.
    now, windows 8 repair screen appears but im getting -a required device isn't connected or cannot be accessed- error.
    i googled about this problem but the solution didnt work for me. (boot change from bios)
    by the way , for precaution , i made an IMG file of recovery partition also (which is 14gb). 
    i tried burn a bootable disk with that image but didnt work because some files in img is too big for fat32.
    after that i tried boot from EFI file but bios cant reach to Ntsf part. i tried to explorer IFE file in fat32 but i couldnt because IFE file which i ve is more than 13gb (same problem for fat32 file system)
    so summary :
    i ve recovery part with files (install.wim , *.ife files...) but getting error.
    i ve an .img of partition but couldnt make bootable disk
    Maybe there s a tool for reach ntsf then i can boot from ife...i dont know i need ur help.
    what can i do?
    im really so sad , already  i lost many important data, files , pics.. im living in italy and im a student (not italian) and i really cannot order another cd from Hp for recovery.

    and i installed without problem..
    but before install the system with ubuntu live cd i booted pc and i found my product key which  is embedded in bios.
    then installed win8 Enterprise 64bit..
    now my problem is activation, when i digit the key , before active it, it says under the box it s correct but when i click to active it then im taking the product key you entered will not work with this edition of windows 8 error..
    what should i do

  • Problem with recovery mode and restore for disabled ipad2

    Hello, I hope you can help me.
    My ipad2 is disabled.  My only option is to enter recovery mode and then restore. 
    I followed the instructions to connect to my ipad to my computer.  I saw the appropriate restore graphic on my ipad.  Yet iTunes on my computer does not recognize my ipad in recovery mode.  Instead iTunes said it could not access my device because it was disabled.  I have the lastest version of iTunes on my computer.   I believe I have iOS 7 on my ipad.
    I am unable to restore my ipad.
    Any suggestions?

    Saw this solution on another post about an iPad in a school environment. Might work on your iPad so you won't lose everything.

    ‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
    Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
    I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
    Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
    1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
    2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
    3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
    4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
    5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
    6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
    7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
    8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
    If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.
