Dynamic routing for a Business Service with multiple operations

I have two business services with multiple operations. Business service A (bsA) has operations OpA1 and OpA2. Business service B (bsB) has operations OpB1 and OpB2.
Depending on incoming Proxy message and operation, I have to do one of the following
1. If someValue = A and operation= Op1 then invoke operation opA1 of bsA
2. If someValue = B and operation= Op1 then invoke operation opB1 of bsB
3. If someValue = C and operation= Op1 then invoke operation opA1 of bsA AND* operation opB1 of bsB and return aggregate data of both invocations
1. If someValue = A and operation= Op2 then invoke operation opA2 of bsA
2. If someValue = B and operation= Op2 then invoke operation opB2 of bsB
3. If someValue = C and operation= Op2 then invoke operation opA2 of bsA AND* operation opB2 of bsB and return aggregate data of both invocations
Using a dynamic route node or dynamic routing options, I am able to achieve cases 1, 2, 4, and 5.
But for cases 3 & 6, I can not use a route node. When I use a Service call out instead, then I am forced to create a Operational branch but that does not seem like the best design since for every new operation added to the business services, I have to add a new branch to the Operational branch and redo all the functionality for that branch.
Basically, I am looking to achieve the functionality of the Route node ( no need to specify the operation ).
Any thoughts/ideas on what the best design would be?
thanks

For cases 3 & 6, why don't you route to another proxy service where you can simple do two service callouts, merge output data somehow and return them to the first proxy?
If you look for "special route feature", that could possibly call two services for a single message, I'm afraid you won't succeed.

  • Business Service with multiple HTTP Request Methods

    hi all -
I'm new to OSB and trying to prototype a solution. I have a service provider that exposes a number of HTTP operations (GET/PUT/POST/DELETE). It's a JAX-RS implementation.
I was looking to create 1 proxy service and 1 business service for that service provider. But, within my business service, I must chose a 'HTTP Request Method' and it allows only 1 type (either GET, PUT, POST, DELETE). So, I have something working, but only for a single type (POST in my prototype). I figure I could create more proxy and business services for the other HTTP Request Methods, but I'm not sure if this is the correct approach (design/architecture).
My other thought was to create a proxy service to front the service provider, but looking at the documentation, it looks like there should be a business service for each proxy service. If it's possible to use a proxy service without a business service to mediate the service provider, where would I add my URLs for the service provider in the proxy service.
My apologies on the 2 part architecture/design question. I thought the group would help with getting me started.
    thanks jim

  • Biztalk schema exposing as WCF service with multiple operations

    Hi,
I am working on a design pattern to expose the BizTalk schema as a WCF service and thought of taking expert’s advice. I have a single schema with 30 different nodes and each one is a different message type. For this 30 message types we need to expose WCF
endpoints to customer for consuming from their application.
When I exposed this schema as WCF service, a single receive location got created in BizTalk application and in IIS there is one .svc file. I defined 30 operations for this while exposing the endpoint with wizard.
Currently I came up with the below 2 approaches but I did not like them as there is more redundancy
Create 30 different orchestrations and each orchestration subscribes to Message Box direct binding with message type as filter.
Create a single orchestration that binds to single receive location( this location got created by wizard..) and access the operation/message type in the expression shape. Based on this value create 30 IF conditions for each message type. For this the
single orchestration receive shape should have a message type of xml document and then access the type. Is it possible?
I don’t like the above approaches as it is very difficult to maintain and also difficult to add for any new message type.
Does anyone has good ideas for doing this?
    Thanks
    JB

"Canonical Schemas" are used where multiple source messages need to be addressed by a SINGLE Operation !!!
Every operation anyway translates to a separate process. Forget that we're dealing with BizTalk for a minute, when you're writing plain we services, you introduce new service contracts (operations) when you deal with different data contracts. To come back,
in BizTalk your data contracts are your schemas. So when you have multiple schemas, each requiring different processing then you need different orchestrations.
Let us for a minute assume you've defined a single service schema (very possible with a service header and a service details where the service data contract could differ). Now you use this schema to expose ONE service endpoint (good till now). In that service
you're suggesting to ADD decisions (something like a switch statement where you'll do 'x' set of activities is the message is of 'x' type and so on... How is this sustainable? Every time you introduce an new operation, you'll have to tear down and redeploy
the new orchestration which will affect all other operations. During the introduction of ONE op you may touch other parts of the orchestration (multiple branches in a parallel shape anyways make the orchestration very unwieldy from a code management/support
standpoint) and introduce errors in existing ops.

  • Setting an endpoint dynamically for a business service

I need to set an endpoint for a business service dynamically in the message flow of a proxy service. I'm basically doing what it says in this article(page 9 under heading - Registry per Individual Domain):
    http://e-docs.bea.com/alsb/docs26/pdf/deploybestprac.pdf
I've gone to the link to the User guide that it gives in there for "Using Dynamic Routing". And I've pieced together most of what I need to do. I have a dummy business service with a dummy URL. I'm making a service callout and getting and endpoint back and saving that endpoint address to a variable. (that's all in a stage in a pipeline node.) Then I dynamically route it to dummy business service. The part I don't know how/where to do is reassign the dummy business service's endpoint to the endpoint I got back from my service callout.
Can anyone help me with this?
    Thanks,
    Brittany

Try with a 'Dynamic publish to service' action with:
    <ctx:route isProxy="false">
    <ctx:service>{ $yourBusinessService }</ctx:service>
    </ctx:route>
where $yourBusinessService is the variable hosting the uri of your business service.

  • Services with multiple account assignment.

    Hi all,
How can I find out the POs which are having the multiple account assignment for the service line items from tables ?
I am looking for services with multiple account assignments
    Regards

    Hi
Go to SE16 , give table name -EKPO
Now if you have purchase order nos with you then copy paste the PO numbers here , or select company code or site to restrict your entries. It will control the performance of the data execution.
Then execute this (remove max no 200 ) . Go to Settings-- Format List -- Choose fields. Deselect all and select fields as per your requirement. If field names are coming in technical names you can change this via settings--User parameter and select -Field Label.
You can extract this report to excel as well. Same PO number with all account assignment category.
Please note if you have high volume of data then extract all the POs under service orders first from EKKO table and copy all the service PO numbers availbvale and paste in table EKPO, it will increase performance as well.
    Cheers

  • Web service with multiple out parameters

    Hi Developers,
I have been playing around with som web services in the developer studio.
I can create a webservice from a normal ejb.
But i can only get one out parameter, which is the return parameter of the ejb.
I tried to make an object to use as return parameter, but then i couldn't use the method for the web service.
Can anyone tell me how to make a web service with multiple out parameters?
    Br Rasmus

    Hi Developers,
I have the same question, is it possible to have multiple outgoing parameters?
When not, does SAP Netweaver knows a IN-OUT parameter? Because I found on the internet that it is possible to have a IN-OUT parameter. But that was with the BEA Weblogic 8.x.
When not, is then the only solution to return a object? With in this object all the parameters you want.
Or otherwise is there a other workaround?
    Thanks in advance,

  • Sending Idocs to R/3 Error when Business Service with a party is configured

    Hi All,
I'm facing some issue when posting idocs (FINSTA) back to R/3 when Business Service with a party is configured in my Integration Directory. However, I do not have this problem, if the
Business System without Party is configured. It seems that 'adapter specific' setting doesn't
seem to work when you have a party.
I have read the same problem faced by other SDN members as well, some suggested to have the latest patch to solve the problem. FYI, I'm using latest patch SP 15, but the problem still exist. The error that I have in the sxmb_moni is "Unable to convert sender XI party http://sap.com/xi/XI / XIParty / GABXI100 to an IDoc partner".
    Please assist. Thanks.

    Hi Arun,
    Thanks for reply.
What do you mean by XI Party must map to a party in the R3 in the partner profile?
For example, If my Party Name in Integration Directory is ABC01, I should create a partner profile of ABC01 in my R3? How if I have business service under the Party ABC001, what should I configure in my R3?
Currently My Partner Profile in R3 is type 'B' - Bank.
    Thanks for helps.

  • Dynamic Routing Protocol Support in Cisco ASA Multiple Context Mode

                       Dear Experts,
Wold like to know whether dynamic Routing Protocol Support in Cisco ASA Firewall Multiple Context Mode. If yes then please provide OS version and Hardware Model of Cisco ASA Firewall. Appreciate the quick response.  Thanks.

    Hi,
Check out this document for the information
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/roadmap/asa_new_features.html#wp93116
Its lists the following for software level 9.0(1)
    Multiple   Context Mode Features
    Dynamic routing in Security   Contexts
EIGRP and OSPFv2 dynamic   routing protocols are now supported in multiple context mode. OSPFv3, RIP, and multicast routing   are not supported.
Seems to me you would need some 9.x version to support the above mentioned Dynamic Routing Protocols.
I don't think its related to the hardware model of the ASA other than that it requires a model that supports Multiple Context Mode. To my understanding the only model that doesnt support that is ASA5505 of the whole ASA5500 and ASA5500-X series.
    Hope this helps

  • SOAP proxy for RESTful business service

    Hi,
I have a requirement to consume a 3rd-party RESTful web service from within WebLogic Integration 9.2.3.
My organisation also has an OSB 10.3 installation which is lucky since WLI 9.2.3 does not readily support RESTful service consumption.
My plan is therefore to proxy the RESTful service via the OSB with a SOAP proxy service and consume the proxy from WLI.
Can anyone provide guidance on how I might go about this?
    Cheers,
    Rob

I want to give it a try :)
    1. Create a business service with the 3rd-party RESTful web service WSDL and point it to the URL where it is currently deployed/hosted.
    2. Create a Proxy Service to invoke the 3rd-party RESTful web service via the business service. (I think you will need to define a simple WSDL to be able to use this service from WLI)
    3. Then import the ProxyService WSDL in WLI and invoke the same via the WebServiceControl.
I hope this works out well for you.
    Thanks,
    Patrick.

  • Router for small business Internet connection

One of our clients recently switched ISPs to Speakeasy who installed a Hatteras HN 407 bridge. We have had Internet connectivity problems using their SonicWall 3060 firewall, and we experienced similar problems when attempting to use a newer Sonicwall TZ180. We temporarily installed a Linksys W54GT router, which has been working perfectly; however, we would like to have a more robust router for their 25 user network - additional security options, performance, VPN, two WAN connections, etc. Can you recommend a small business router with 2 WAN connections? This customer has a business ethernet 3Mbps (up and down) Internet connection, uses an online medical scheduling program, normally has 10 - 20 uses using the Internet connection and will be installing a backup DSL line that we would like to use for load balancing.

Our recommendation for Dual WAN would be RV082 This would be the prefect VPN router for small  Business and if you are looking for more ports on  the Ethernet, then we would recommend the RV016

  • Dynamic csf-key to Business service of OSB?

We have created single Business Service which is getting called from one proxy service to execute different Web Service end points.
For different end point execution I want to pass different authentication parameters.
Currently we have configured User Id and Password through single csf-key through policy.
Since csf-key is secured option to pass authentication parameters to end point,  is it possible to configure dynamic csf-key to Business service of OSB?

Create a business service using file transport and type "Text".
Obtain the file name and assign to $body in ur proxy service stage and publish to the business service u just created.

  • Windows 2012 routing and remote access service with same subnet

I have internal server IP range -192.168.1.0/24
Windows routing and remote access service  with vpn client IP -192.168.11../22
client side IP subnet is -192.168.1.0/24
So we wan routing \ NATING between  192.168.1.0/24 to 192.168.11.0/22 so if vpn user try to ping 192.168.11.5 it should internally forward all request to 192.168.1.5

    Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that VPN client and internal network has the same IP range -192.168.1.0/24. And you want to transfer internal network from IP address 192.168.1.0/24 to 192.168.11.0/22.
Agree with Charles David’s point of view. The easiest way to fix routing confusion would be to either change the VPN subnet or the VPN client subnet.
Or, if you configure Windows Server(RRAS) as VPN server, you may enable NAT to transfer internal IP address:
    1. Open RRAS, add NAT.
    2. New interface to NAT and configure it as public interface.
    3. Open Address Pool tab, add IP address range 192.168.11.0/22.
    4. Click Reservations, add reserved IP(192.168.11.0/22) and corresponding internal IP(192.168.1.0/24) one by one.
This would be a lot of workload. Besides, you may use 3rd party devices to transfer subnet IP addresses.

  • Developing Business Services with ADF BC

    Hello all,
I was following the tutorial at http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/obe1013jdev/10131/bslayer/bslayer.htm#t2s5, which is Developing Business Services with ADF Business Components
AND i was wondering if i could add a custom validation that would: prevent the user from entering a Gender IF the credit limit is greater than 400? Is this possible? If so, could some point me in the right direction
    Cheers

    Hi,
    you have two options:
    1. add the validation on the ADF BC model using a method validator. This would compare the two attributes and throw an exception if the business rule is violated
    2. Use a ValueChange Listener on the credit limit field (in association with a autosubmit=true setting on the field) to enable the gender field through a Partial Page Refresh. To programmatically refresh a field using PPR, you create a binding of the component to refresh o a managed bean using its binding property. Then you call
    AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(<component reference here>)

  • 10.1.3.1 : Developing Business Services with ADF BC tuto issues

    Hi,
I was doing a learning session at my office based on the 'Developing Business Services with ADF Business Components' tutorial : http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/obe1013jdev/10131/bslayer/bslayer.htm. The topic Creating ADF Business Components > 9 shows how to create EOs, VOs, AM and the corresponding UML diagram.
    When using JDev 10.1.3.1 :
    * the diagram is not generated as expected,
    * the java domains are not created from DB domains.
    Under JDev 10.1.3.2 :
    * the java domains are created from DB domains,
    * the diagram has been generated on 1 out of 3 computers.
Any clues on what's going on or any known bugs ?
    Thanks,
    Seb.

    Hi,
Today in 10.1.3.1 the diagram generation just works. It seems the keepResident extension was causing troubles as the exception stack trace mentioned its name... I just removed it.
But still, the domains are not generated as expected. I've made several tests even in a fresh installation of JDeveloper 10.1.3.1.

    Hi,
I have created a simple web service in Workshop to simulate an asynchronous communication.
When I test it within workshop everything is fine but how do I generate the necessary
