Dynamic rows created not seen in form manager

I have a form in which I create an instance of a subform for every click of a button. When I tried the form in PDF Preview tab, it works fine. However, when I loaded the form into form manager and I opened the form, I saw that it does not create any rows. Is this an acceptable problem?

ok, I solved the problem.
In the livecycle administration, I got the
Home > Services > Adobe LiveCycle Form Manager > Configuration Settings
and I changed the
Specify the delivery of the PDF content:
Render at :
as
Client
It was given "Auto" as default.

i am trying to create a simple workflow, and created a form in acrobat 8 designer.
i saved it as .xdp.
i created a category and added my form into this category through the admin ui.
after log in into form manager i see the category, but my form is not there. the list of available forms is emtpy.
i am using livecycle form manager 7.2
any idea?

Hi Mona
The Standard Queries provided by SAP which comes under System Queries, the SQL Statement area is appeared as collapsed, but if you want you can change/edit those queries also.
But the User defined queries always with expanded mode, there is not functionality to open the query result window with the collapsed SQL Statement.
If you don't want to allow user to change/edit the SQL Statement, then you can use my solution which is provided earlier. But there are no authorization to restrict the view of SQL Statement unless you completely restrict the particular query to the user(s).

Accounting document created- not seen doc flow..

Hi,
i have an issue with respect to accounting document. After saving the billing, accounting document is generated. When i see the document flow, Invoice is still open, accounting document is not seen in the flow.
When i double check with customer open item, FBL5N, i am not getting the amount reflected there.
When i try to release the blilling document, i am getting the below error.
FI/CO interface: Balance in transaction currency
Message no. RW022
Diagnosis
The balances in transaction currency must be zero for each logical transaction when transferring to the FI/CO interface. A balance of " 0.02" "INR" was determined for the logical transaction "".
System Response
The FI/CO interface does not process any transactions which have a balance in transaction currency other than zero.
Procedure
This is a system error of the calling application.
Kindly guide me.

Dynamic row counter column in Adobe Forms

Hi Guys,
My table in Adobe Forms is dynamically created with Conditional Breaks. I want to display 1st column as Sr.No. displaying row counter for tables on each page.
Anyone have idea how to achieve the same.

Some Hostname is not seen in DNS Manager ( Windows Server 2008 )

DC Server OS - Windows Server 2008 R2 ( Active Directory Integrated DNS Zone ) Client OS - Windows 7
I am unable to understand, why some hostname are not dynamically registered in DNS Manager. For example -My windows7 which is added to corp.abc.com domain. Don't show in DNS manager.
I don't want to create this hostname statically on DNS manager.
I have tried couple of resolution i.e ipconfig /registerdns, restarted DNS Client / DHCP Client server, restarted computer still unable to see hostname name entry in DNS manager. 2 days has passed, still it has not come-up in DNS manager. I have also check
Advanced TCP/IP settings. Please see print-screen of nslookup & Advanced TCP/IP Settings.
Kindly suggest, what should i do, to resolve this problem.

I would first recommend checking that Dynamic DNS updates are configured (I would recommend having it set to Secure only).

Please also check that your primary DNS suffix using ipconfig /all. It should be matching the computer domain name. If this do not help, you can try to temporary disable your security software installed on your computer, check the network filtering and use Wireshark to see what happens when you run

Why Dynamic Parameter is not working, when i create report XI using stored procedure ?
Only i shaw those parameters which i used in my stored procedure, the parameter which i create dynamic using stored procedure
is not shown to me when i referesh the report for viewing the results.
I have used the same procedure which i mention below but can not seen the last screen which is shown in this .

Dynamic Parameters in Action
My question is that whether dynamic parameter is working with storedprocedure or not.
When i added one table and try to fetch records using dyanmic prameters. after that i am not be able to find the dynamic parameter option when i referesh my report.
One more thing when i try the static parameter for my report, the option i see when i referesh the screen.

I have tested the issue step by step by following you description, while the first issue works well in my local environment. Based on my research, this can be caused by the lookup expression or it indeed return Male value based on the logic. If you use the
expression below, it will indeed only return the Male record. So please try to double-check the record in the two datasets and the expression in your environment:
=lookup(first(Fields!ProgramID.Value,"DataSet1"),Fields!ProgramID.Value,Fields!Gender.Value,"DataSet2")
As to the second issue, please try to use the following expression:
=Count(Lookup(fields!ProgramID.value,fields!ProgramID.value,fields!Gender.value,"DataSet2"))
Besides, if this issue still exist, in order to trouble shoot this issue more efficiently, could you please post both the .rdl file with all the size properties to us by the following E-mail address? It is benefit for us to do further analysis.

Creating a Folder Within Form or Document Library & Display the name not in the name column.

I have created a form library that will used to create folders within that. The folder creation is done using an InfoPath Form that has been uploaded to the Form Library. When the new folder was created the name will be displayed at the Name column within
the Form Library. I want to change that to another column like documents or suchlike.
Can it be done using InfoPath 2010 VSTA C# or not? If their are other options available please could you try to inform me!

If you want to show the name of folder in another column, a workaround is that you can create an extra column, then create a SharePoint Designer workflow to set the value of
this column with the name of folder.

Dynamic properties working in "normal KM" but not in XML forms

I've implemented a Metadata Extension that returns a list of properties. The list is dynamically generated based on the folder the document is located in. I've tested the Metada Extension on both existing documents and new documents and it works fine in "normal" KM scenarios ( Word documents, file uploads, etc.).
The problem arises when I want to use these Dynamic properties in XML forms. I've added my property to a combox in the XML Forms project. When accessing the Metadata Extension from XML forms the resource path is always null. Since all my business logic is based on knowing where in the KM structure the document is, I have a small problem...
If I go to Details->Properties on the xml forms document and accesses my property there, the path is correct..
To get the resource path I use these two methods:
folder = metaContext.getResourcePath();
(for newly created documents)
folder = metaContext.getResource().getParentCollection().getRID().getPath();
(for existing documents)
these are null when calling my Metadata Extension from a XML Form.
Any ideas?

Deliverable Created in contract not visible in project management

We are using the deliverable tracking system of oracle project contract for creation of requisition of project related items.But those deliverable can not be seen in Project management screen. Is there any way to see these deliverables in project management?

By Oracle design there is no link between OKE Deliverables and the Project Management Deliverables.
Those are managed on separate tables.
You may consider customizing the system using API to create a PJT deliverable from an OKE deliverable, maintaining a DFF attribute to see the link between the two entities. My idea is to have something similar to Oracle's solution that creates an event in Projects Billing from a billing event that user creates in OKE.

Dynamic row selection based on Page member selection in Planning web-form

I have requirement where, user dont want 10 webforms to enter 2 accounts line for various sparse members. Below is the dimension detail and web-form current design
Account - Dense
Period - Dense
Year - Sparse
Scenario - Sparse
Version - Sparse
Entity - Sparse
Product - Sparse (600 level 0 members)
Product dim has family1 as parent and 40 level 0 mem like that there are 10 family level 1 members, now to enter account member (only 2 member) for 6 years projection ( it means 12 periods and 6 years in column ) , i can build 10 web-forms with one web-form has one family level-0 mem in rows,
however my question, is how can i achieve this in one web-form, instead of 10 web-forms for 400 products ?
your help is greatly appreciated.

Im not sure there is any simple way to get dynamic row selection based on what is selected in the page.
If I were designing the form based on what you have stated, I would probably stick both Account and Year in the page, and the 400 products in rows. This would require the user to select the different combinations of Year / Account, but would mean only 12 columns (instead of 72).
Alternatively you could stick Account in rows too - meaning 800 rows, but less combinations to select in Page....all depends what is deemed acceptable to the user.
Probably other approaches that may be better than above (put Product in the Page for fun!!)

Acrobat Standard (9.4.6) - Issue: "Acrobat could not create a new PDF form"

I have Adobe Acrobat Standard (version 9.4.6). I am trying to create a form but when I start the form wizard, locate the document to convert and click next, I get an error message "Acrobat could not create a new PDF form." What's wrong? (I've used this feature before in Adobe Pro so I am familiar with the process but I am using Standard now). It's not letting me upload my document (an MS Word 2003 document). Please, someone, anyone, help! I think I got a bad batch of software here. Any suggestions? If it's hopeless, who do I call for a replacement if that's the case? Is this software under warranty?

Thank you for your email. The file I am trying to convert to PDF and create a form with is a MS Office Word 2003 file. It isn't any specific file; the issue happens every time. I type my text in the Word doc and then proceed to open Adobe Acrobat Standard and use the wizard to create a form from an existing file. I tried to repairing the software but it does not help. Any other suggestions? Is this version of software defective? I really need this feature. I look forward to your reply. Thanks.

Service monitoring is not showing all the services when i create a service monitor under Management pack templates.

I am using SCOM 2007 R2 CU4 in my environment. I want to do a service monitoring on specific agents. When i try creating this service monitor which comes under the Management pack template when i select the service which i want to monitor it does not
show all the services in the drop down.
For example - I have Windows audio service which is present on the machine, But it is not showing in the service list.
So from the services stating from "W" i see only 5 in SCOM and in services.msc in the Agent i see more than 5.
Below is the screen shot.

Dynamic pdf created in adobe 8 not working in Adobe reader 9

Hi ,
I designed dynamic pdf using Adobe 8 livecylce.
I am able to generate the dynamic pdf with values filled in from the database in Adobe 8 reader,standard and professional versions.
I recently installed Adobe 9 reader and when I try to generate the dynamic pdf , the pdf if generated but the values of the fields comes as null.
Is dynamic pdfs created in 8 not compatable with adobe 9 reader? Do I need to redesign the documents in 9 again ?
Please let me know, I designed a lot of pdf documents using 8 livecycle under the assumption that it is going to work in future versions.

Hi,
I figured our there was a setting to enable/disable Javascript which caused this issue.
I was using javascript in the LC 8 for manipulations in the dynamic pdfs.
I enabled the javascript and now it is working fine.

IP/TV "Could not create RTSP connection with Program manager"

Hello,
When we try to view IP/TV content with the IP/TV viewer we are able to but when we try to view it through a webpage I recieve the error:
"Could not create RTSP connection with Program manager"
I have no idea what the problem is. Anyone have any input?

The client, program manager and ip tvserver are all on the same local area network
