Dynamic Selection for FBL1N and FBL5N reports

Dear Alberto,
Please refer to the SAP note 310886. In the note you should be able
to see how to add fields in to the dynamic selection , and the fields,
which are available for this.

Dynamic Selections for the F.42 report

Hii Experts,
I want to add a field called Business Place(BUPLA) in dynamic Selection in tcode F.42.
So, in F.42 KDF Logical Database is used, so i make a Custom Selection view for KDF database.
Business place is successfully added in Dynamic Selection, but it doesn`t reflect when i execute F.42.
When i test from SE36, it reflects.

Note 50370 explains in full detail how the system works for selecting the documents with dynamic selection.
Balance report reads the transaction figures which are stored with the help of several different fields, so the selection according to further fields cannot be proceed. This is standard design.
The dynamic selection for Document Data does not work for reports which use customer / vendor transaction tables (KNC1 LFC1),i.e., document data like doc.number and Doc.date is not stored in transaction tables.
Dynamic selections can only be used with customer / vendor, company code
or fiscal year fields. The following reports are affected by this
program design.
S_ALR_87012186 - Customer sales
S_ALR_87012082 - Vendor Balances in Local Currency
S_ALR_87012093 - Vendor Business
S_ALR_87012079 - Transaction Figures: Account Balance
S_ALR_87012080 - Transaction Figures: Special Sales
S_ALR_87012081 - Transaction Figures: Sales
S_ALR_87012105 - List of Down Payments open at Key Date - Vendors
S_ALR_87012172 - Customer balances in local currency

Hey experts,
when I add this to my code
selection-screen dynamic selections for zbr_t_autori
and I want activate it, it writes out an error
The addition "DYNAMIC_SELECTIONS" is only allowed in INCLUDE DB__SSEL.
and I don't know how to solve it, what is that include db__ssel?
Can anybody help me.

Thanks for your quick response, here for the report FBL5N the logical database is DDF and the field which should be add in dynamic selection is (KTGRD) account assignment group is available in KNVV table but this table is not available in DDF logival database.
Please suggest us how we can pickup this field into the report FBL5N for dynamic selections.

The dynamic selection for profit center in FBL1N isn't working

Dear all,
I have one one issue regarding FBL1N.
The dynamic selection for profit center in FBL1N isn't working.
If we enter profit center, we don't get any value.
As per developer after debugging, table BSIK is not getting updated, hence values are not updating in the report.
Please let me know, any configuration is missing.

Try BSEG and see if its there for the particular doc. If its not there its a functional issue, you have to capture profit center at the time of entry. You can either make the profit center field mandatory or substitute it at the time of document generation. Consult your FI consultant. If u have activated New GL features the profit center may me in table FAGLFLEXA. but i don't think u can get the profit center from this table for your purpose, you may need to develop a zreport.
And its not BISK its BSIK

Adding Field in output of T-Code FBL1n and FBL5n.

Hi all,
can someone please tell me how to add field FDGRV(Planning group) in the output of TCODES "FBL1n and FBL5n".
I have already added this field in the standard selection screen and its getting fetched by table LFB1.
please suggest which field catalog to be populated and which internal table,so that i get the required output.

Thanks for your reply. I tried adding the field from SPRO FI - AR n AP - Customer Accounts - Line items - Display line items - Define additional fields for item display
but it didn't worked out its gving an message that "TABLE KNB1 is not allowed"....
Kindly suggest some other solution.

HR - dynamic selections field name and field value in the program

HI all,
I am using dynamic selections for a HR report.
I have created a view with 20 fields and added it to HR report category ___00003(All fields suppressed).
I need to check these fields in the program. But i am not able to get the field name and value in the program for dynamic selections fields.
Please let me know how to get the field names and values in the program for dynamic selections .

You have to read the itab pnpdynse in your Program to obtain the Dynamic Selection values. This itab has a deep structure.. you can set a break point in one of the events before get pernr & in the debug mode, you will able to display the itab pnpdynse.. you can then identify how to get the values into your code..

I have "House bank" field in the company code fields, but I want this field in the document fields.

Yes this is possible. You need to extend the selection view for the logical database KDF using transaction SE36, to have more selection fields available in the dynamic selections of the line item display.
Call up Transaction SE36 and enter the logical database KDF.
Choose "Extras --> Selection views".
Select the origin of view.
Choose "Display" or "Change".
Vendors: logical database: KDF
Permitted tables:
LFA1, LFB1: All fields are permitted that are contained in the VF_KRED
view. If necessary, you have to include additional fields in
the view fields category using Transaction SE11.
BSIK: all fields
Change the source code in program SAPDBKDF, Form INIT as explained in the SAP note 310886.

because I have other restriction, so I create two restricted key figure..
RK1 with restriction : Total Number of Note,
RK2 with restriction : Total Opening Days ,
then I Created a calculated key figure, average opening days in a period
CK1 = RK2 / RK1..
in this case, I am not sure if it will work or not..
for example, during RK2 calclation, it might be this   2+3 = 5, the line with 0 will be ignored..
during RK1 calcualtion, it might be 1 + 1 + 1 = 3. ---> Not sure in this case, the line with opening days 0 will be calculated or not..
could you please confirm..

Hi,
If you want to add extra field in your report you can do the setting in Layout selection. If it is not available kinldy check any SAP notes available or not. Otherwise do Zreport with your ABAPer.

you can use the Dynamic Selects for FOR ALL ENTRIES, but i think you may need to use the correct Internal table to match the tabel structure

Actualy i'm not interested in having an input screen for filling the variable value, i just want to get the value from an ODS
any suggestions?

Informix Database for CVP and IPCC reporting, other suggested product

Hi All;
Currently we have in the site Informix Database to be used for CVP and IPCC reporting, but is there other recommended product than it to be more rich in the features and able to use it to generate reports for CVP and IPCC?
From the other side: Any one suggest a front end tool (web based tool) that can be used to generate reports from the Informix DB?
