Dynamic Table not working.

I have an issue with Dynamic Table.
I am working on Offline Interactive Form.
From transaction SFP I designed my form with dynamic row functionality.
In preview screen I am able to add or remove rows but when  I generate the pdf file using the function fm_name the pdf is getting generated  and I am able to save the pdf to my local drive.
  CALL FUNCTION fm_name
    EXPORTING
      /1bcdwb/docparams  = fp_docparams
      z_purchaserequisition = IT_PR
    IMPORTING
      /1bcdwb/FORMOUTPUT = fp_formoutput
    EXCEPTIONS
      cancel             = 1
      usage_error        = 2
      system_error       = 3
      internal_error     = 4.
When I open the file from the local drive and try to add a new row, it is not adding (I think the new row is overwriting the older row).
The hirearchy is as follows:
-Data
--SUBFORMS                             - Position Content
---Table1                              - Flow Content / Table
-HeaderRow                          - Flow Content / Header
   (will have all table heading)
-Row1                               - Flow Content / Table row
   (holds text box for table row)
Do I miss any thing. Also I read in one of the posting that the dynamic pdf property needs to be enabled. I have selected the Dynamic form option from Edif->form property->default. Is that enough or do I need to add some code for that while generating the pdf.
thanks,
Vijai

Subform:
Flowed Content, Flow direction--> From top to bottom
Uncheck Repeat Subform option
Table: Repeat table for each data item, Min Count :1
Header Row: No need of any modifcations
Row1: Check the check box --Repeat Row for each data item, Min Count1

  • Dynamic tables not working

    I have set up a recordset to use with the MySQL database on
    my hosting company. The recordset connects and correctly returns
    the data when I hit test, however, when I try to insert a dynamic
    table into my editable region it says I need to set up the testing
    server and define a recordset (which I have done and redone).
    Potential problems, I am trying to display the recordset in a
    template?
    Any help or to display the repeating data in a different
    manner would be helpful. I am fairly new to the database scene but
    have html experience.
    thanks in advance!

  • Why Does Dynamic Link Not Work

    I purchased the CS5 Adobe Production Premium.  I have been working in Premiere and I have been learning about how to use Dynamic Link. I want to be able to alter clips in After Effects and bring them back and forth into Premiere.  When I go to File/ Adobe Dynamic Link/New After Effect Composition, I get this message:
    Adobe Dynamic Link Requires Adobe Production Premium.
    Since I own production premium, I do not know why I am getting this message.  I have reinstalled the CS5 Production Premium Software twice and it still gives me the same message.  What can I do to get Dynamic Link Working.

    Thank you for the tip.  Could you possibly tell me how to deactivate and
    then reactivate the suite.  I am using a Macbook Pro laptop running OS
    10.6.4.  I do not even know where to start.

    Deactivate the software (not uninstall), and then reactivate the suite.
    This often fixes this. You can opt to leave the serial number on the
    system; no need to clear it and re-enter it.

  • Dynamic Add table not working

    Hi,
    I have to  2 subforms,name table_subform[0] and table_subform[1] .
    To add a new table , i use script :
    var sSubformSOM = "xfa.form.form1.page1.table_subform";
    var oSubform = xfa.resolveNode(sSubformSOM);
    var sParentSOM = oSubform.parent.somExpression;
    var sManagerSOM = sParentSOM + "._" + oSubform.name+ "["+ 1 +"]"; ;  // Control the the new table location
    var oManager = xfa.resolveNode(sManagerSOM);
    oManager.addInstance(1);
    PROBLEM : , the this add table function "ADD THE NEW TABLE IN BETWEEN table_subform[0] and table_subform[1].
    REQUIREMENT : The new table should added next to the last table.
    SOLUTION 1 : var sManagerSOM = sParentSOM + "._" + oSubform.name + "["+ 1 +"]"; // index 1 to add the new table next to the second table
    var sSubformSOM = "xfa.form.form1.page1.table_subform";
    var oSubform = xfa.resolveNode(sSubformSOM);
    var sParentSOM = oSubform.parent.somExpression;
    var sManagerSOM = sParentSOM + "._" + oSubform.name+ "["+ 2 +"]"; ;  // Control the the new table location
    var oManager = xfa.resolveNode(sManagerSOM);
    oManager.addInstance(1);
    PROBLEM : NOW all my "new table" are added by reference to oSubform.name + "["+ 1 +"]";  OR oSubform.name[1]
                       Now the add table are working fine.
                        But this create an issue when deleting the table from the same subform.
                         If i click the "Delete table at "table_subform[1] - which index is used to create the rest of the tables" , it delete      table_subform[2],table_subform[3] in sequence.
    Anyone have any solution for this ????

    The removeInstance method requires an index so that it knows which subform to remove. If the button that you are pressing is part of the subform that you are removiing you can use the this.parent.index to return the index that you are on and as such the appropriate subform can be removed. Depending on your structure you may need to use the parent keyword to get back the level that you need. In many cases it gets confusing to know which subform is repeating so you can add this javascript command to the enter event of a field in the subform.
    app.alert(this.somExpression)
    This command will show you the complete somExpression of the field and as such you will know the somExpression for the rest of the subform. You may need to click on the field in a couple of different rows to understand the pattern that is emerging. This command is only for debugging ...you woudl remove it after you figure out your issue.
    Hope that helps

  • Form in Dynamic page not working when checkbox is used.

    I have created a form using dynamic page. The form most have display fields and a checkbox field. When I check a box, it assigns 'Y' value and when unclick, it assign 'N' to the database field.
    When I submit the form, the procedure which is supposed to save the form data never gets executed. Well, at least it says, page not found HTTP 404 error.
    Interestingly if I make this field a text box and manually enter 'Y' or 'N', and then submit the form, the procedure is executed. Data gets saved.
    Is the checkbox not supposed to be used for a database field because checkbox value can be assigned only using javascript and the procedure never get that value ?
    Can you please tell me how to use a checkbox for a database field using dynamic page ?
    thanks,
    Mainak

    Sharmila,
    When I said, the form does not get submitted, I meant that the procedure does not work. The form gets submitted but the procedure does not work. It gives HTTP 404 error. That is what perplexes me. I am unable to understand why the procedure does not work when I click a checkbox.
    May be you can make this work. I am hopeless about this.
    Here is the code for the procedure sumbit_form:

  • Dynamic query not working

    hi
    im using a dynamic query to put in an internal table but its not working
    Can you see whats wrong in that?
    gv_query = ' au~uname AS OTCTUSERNM,'.
    CONCATENATE gv_query  'a1object' '.' 'a1field'  ' AS  0TCTAUTH'  INTO gv_query.
    CONCATENATE gv_query  'au~to_dat AS OTCTADTO, OTCTOBJNM, ' INTO gv_query.
    SELECT DISTINCT (gv_query)
      INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE gi_ds1
      FROM agr_users AS au INNER JOIN
      agr_1251 AS a1
      ON auagr_name = a1agr_name.

    Hello,
    Following are the observations:
    1. gv_query = ' au~uname AS OTCTUSERNM,'.
    >> In above string i think you want to use uname column as OTCTUSERNM and it is correct
    2. CONCATENATE gv_query 'a1object' '.' 'a1field' ' AS 0TCTAUTH' INTO
        gv_query.
    >> In statement 2 above I am not able to understand whey 'a1object' '.' 'a1field'  this is incorrect.
         Also '.' (dot) in not required in query it will be either '~' or 'AS' as valid chars.
    3. CONCATENATE gv_query 'au~to_dat AS OTCTADTO, OTCTOBJNM, ' INTO gv_query.
    >> In statement 3 above whey OTCTOBJNM is used there is no such column exit in AGR_USERS.
    4. SELECT DISTINCT (gv_query)
        INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE gi_ds1
        FROM agr_users AS au INNER JOIN
        agr_1251 AS a1
        ON auagr_name = a1agr_name.
    >> In above statement a1 is used as alias for AGR_USERS then why it it not there in statement 3 where instead au is used.
    Normarlly query is like this
    '<alias1><col_name1> as <col_desc1>, <alias2><col_name2> as <col_desc2>......up to n cols
    In this case it is possible that alias1 and alias2 are used for different table in case of joins and for same table in case of self joins.
    Finally, You can only define colums in dynamic query those are available in the table from which we have to select the data.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Augustin.

  • Dynamic Table not displaying data

    First off, i have searched high and low, and havent been able to find much help.
    That said, i have been trying to create a simple search/results page in dream weaver, i am using ASP and sql express.  Ive been following the adobe tutorial, and everything works as it says it should, except that when you actually do a search, and hit submit, the results page only shows the dynamic table headings, but no data.
    On the results page, when i create the record set, if i test it, the data shows up correctly.  However on the page itself, nothing shows up.

  • Dynamic configuration not working in Java mapping

    Hi All,
    I have a scenario where i  am using java mapping. In this i am doing following
    1)Read file name from input message header
    2)set file name in output message Header
    3) set Directory name in output message Header
    i  have used following code .. but iit is not working... when i test end  to end...  in reciver communication channel it is failing stating " message failed as "Directory is not set in Header. Also i checked in SXMB_MONI  "dynamic configuration".It is not showing Directory.
    this is code.
    public void transform(TransformationInput transformationInput,TransformationOutput transformationOutput)
                   throws StreamTransformationException {
                   private Map para;
                   String Directory ;
                   String  inputFileName;
                   String var1 = "ABC";
                   para = transformationInput.getInputHeader().getAll();
                   DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) para
                             .get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
                   DynamicConfigurationKey keyFileName1 = DynamicConfigurationKey
                   .create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File", "FileName");
                         inputFileName = conf.get(keyFileName1);
                   DynamicConfigurationKey keyFilename = DynamicConfigurationKey

                   DynamicConfigurationKey keyDirecory = DynamicConfigurationKey

                   Directory = "tmp/"+var1;
                   conf.put(keyFilename,inputFileName);
                   conf.put(keyDirecory, Directory);
    I am in PI 7.1 ,   and in eclipse its showing warning that Para is not used.
    Can anyone show some lights.
    Also is there any way to debug this?? like is there any function by which i can write the trace for each step to see those in MONI.

    Method name:   public void createDirectory(Resultlist result, Container container)throws StreamTransformationException
    //Use Simple UDF and do the following lines
    String Directory ;
    String  inputFileName;
    String var1 = "ABC";
    DynamicConfiguration conf = container
        .getTransformationParameters()
        .get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
      DynamicConfigurationKey keyFileName1 = DynamicConfigurationKey
                   .create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File", "FileName");
      inputFileName = conf.get(keyFileName1);
    DynamicConfigurationKey keyFilename = DynamicConfigurationKey
                   .create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File", "FileName");
    DynamicConfigurationKey keyDirecory = DynamicConfigurationKey
                   .create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File", "Directory");
    Directory = "tmp/"+var1;
    conf.put(keyFilename,inputFileName);
    conf.put(keyDirecory, Directory);
    and remove these 3 lines
    //private Map para;
    //para = transformationInput.getInputHeader().getAll();
    //DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) para.get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION
    >>I am in PI 7.1 , and in eclipse its showing warning that Para is not used.Can anyone show some lights.
    You can simply remove declaring Map Para line... The eclipse gives warning because you dont assign values for it and you are trying to use...
    For using the same input file name in output side, you dont need coding ... you need only for the directory...
    Enable ASMA attributes in the channel.

  • Dynamic Stamps Not Working in Adobe Acrobat Pro

    Hi everyone, the dynamic stamps on Adobe Simultaneous Review are no longer working for us. I have Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 (it works for me) but it's not working for many other people (they have Adobe Acrobat Pro X). Does anyone know how we can fix this. I think the problem started occurring a few months ago.
    Many Thanks!
    Joy

    You can shutting down Acrobat and then try moving (DO NOT DELETE - you may want put them back afterward if this doesn't work) the Collab and Sync folder out of the User's Acrobat folder and then rejoin the Shared Review to see if the Dynamic Stamps reappear.

  • Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 Dynamic Link not working as part of Production Premium CS5

    I ran into a situation whereby I recently reinstalled my Production Premium CS 5 onto a new computer and when trying to run the Dynamic Link out of Premiere PRO CS 5 to create a new After Effects composition, After Effects tried to start up but then crashed with the error that Production Premium was needed.
    Yet, I had Production Premium CS5.
    (Note:  The crash didn't occur when I simply tried to use Dynamic Link without anything selected in my project or timeline - but the moment I had a clip in my timeline selected to work on it, the dynamic link would not work as covered above.)
    In checking around the forums I found various answers to this problem such as rebooting the computer, reformatting hard drives and/or whatever.  This all may be correct.
    However, as I just went through that nightmare, I was not anxious to do that again.  So, I called Adobe and the following solution solved the matter in 5 minutes:
    1. Close all your other Adobe applications such as After Effects.
    2. Open up Premiere Pro CS5 and then deactivate it by going to HELP>DEACTIVATE and then Permanently Deactivate.
    3.Close the application and restart Premiere Pro CS5.
    4.Then do the same to Activate it.
    5. Have your serial number handy and plug it in when prompted.
    Solved it right away and worked beautifully.
    Not to say there couldn't be more complicated situations, but the above worked and the simpler the better is good for me. And I thought I would post this in case anyone else ran into this problem.

    Thanks for posting your solution.

  • Dynamic Configuration not working with Integrated Configuration

    Hi All,

    string1 = conf.get(Variant);
    Note : Using Integrated Config(AAE Processing) - Response header does not have DynamicConfiguration header node , but Classical Configuration has that.

    For us this is what we had:
    This didn't work (getInputParameters is the newer stuff that doesn't work):
    DynamicConfiguration dc = (DynamicConfiguration)container.getInputParameters().getValue(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    DynamicConfigurationKey dck = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/SOAP","TServerLocation");
    dc.put(dck,"https://xyz.api-salesforce.com/services/Soap/c/26.0/0DFa00000008jis");
    return "";
    This works for us(we had to remove getInputParameters):
    DynamicConfiguration dc =  (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    DynamicConfigurationKey dck = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/SOAP","TServerLocation");
    dc.put(dck,"https://xyz.api-salesforce.com/services/Soap/c/26.0/00D3000000001X0");
    return "";

  • TRUNCATE TABLE NOT WORKING AFTER DROPPING CONSTRAINTS

    Hi,
    I have a table with a foreign key constraint. I know you can't truncate tables when there are foreign key constraints. So I drop the constraints before running the TRUNCATE TABLE command. But SQL Server is still stating there are foreign key constraints
    even after they have just been dropped.
    When I use SQL Server Management Studio to generate a drop & create script on this table or any other table with an FK consttaint, the generated script fails stating that there are still foreign key constraints??
    I have the same problem for every table that has FK constraints, for those without FK, TRUNCATE table works without issues.
    The end goal is to reset the identity value of the primary key. Since DBCC does not work on Azure, TRUNCATE TABLE is the only way left, especially if you can't even drop and recreate tables with FK constraints.
    What am I missing here?
    Peter

    Hi,
    Thanks for posting here.
    TRUNCATE TABLE is similar to the DELETE statement with no WHERE clause; however, TRUNCATE TABLE is faster and uses fewer system and transaction log resources.
    TRUNCATE TABLE removes all rows from a table, but the table structure and its columns, constraints, indexes, and so on remain. To remove the table definition in addition to its data, use the DROP TABLE statement.
    If the table contains an identity column, the counter for that column is reset to the seed value defined for the column. If no seed was defined, the default value 1 is used. To retain the identity counter, use DELETE instead.
    Restrictions
    You cannot use TRUNCATE TABLE on tables that:
    •Are referenced by a FOREIGN KEY constraint. (You can truncate a table that has a foreign key that references itself.)
    •Participate in an indexed view.
    •Are published by using transactional replication or merge replication.
    For tables with one or more of these characteristics, use the DELETE statement instead.
    TRUNCATE TABLE cannot activate a trigger because the operation does not log individual row deletions. For more information, see CREATE TRIGGER (Transact-SQL).
    Truncating Large Tables
    Microsoft SQL Server has the ability to drop or truncate tables that have more than 128 extents without holding simultaneous locks on all the extents required for the drop.
    Permissions--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     The minimum permission required is ALTER on table_name. TRUNCATE TABLE permissions default to the table owner, members of the sysadmin fixed server role, and the db_owner and db_ddladmin fixed database roles, and are not transferable. However, you
    can incorporate the TRUNCATE TABLE statement within a module, such as a stored procedure, and grant appropriate permissions to the module using the EXECUTE AS clause.
    You cannot truncate a table which has an FK constraint on it.
    Typically my process for this is:
    Drop the constraints
    Trunc the table
    Recreate the constraints.
    Hope this helps you.

  • DB Adapter wizard – WHERE clause on parent and child tables not working.

    I have two tables, SECURITY and SECURITY_POSITIONS, where SECURITY has a 1:M relationship with SECURITY_POSITIONS. I used the DB-adapter wizard to create the relationship and the following WHERE clause expression which is looking at both the parent and the child tables;
    The expression builder looks like this:
    AND
    |--- 1. partitionKey EQUAL p_SearchKey
    |--- 2. securityType EQUAL “DBT”
    |--- 3. securityPositionsCollection.dealReference EQUAL “NA”
    The primary key on SECURITY = PARTITION_KEY and SECURITY_REFERENCE
    The foreign key from SECURITY_POSITIONS to SECURITY = PARTITION_KEY and SECURITY_REFERENCE
    securityType is on SECURITY table (master)
    securityPositionsCollection.dealReference is on SECURITY_POSITIONS table (child)
    The invoke on the database adapter is selecting a row in securityPositionsCollection for each child row, rather than just those with dealReference = “NA”!
    I turned on DEBUG logging in the BPEL console and I can see that there are 2 SELECT queries run (guess this is how Toplink does it!), where the 1st query appears to select the parent rows and the 2nd query selects the child rows.
    However the 2nd query is not working because it is failing to select only those child rows where dealReference = “NA”. Also, don’t know why the 2nd SELECT query needs to specify the child SECURITY_POSITIONS table twice in the FROM clause, because that seems to be causing the problem.
    1st query executed is as follows;
    SELECT DISTINCT t0.PARTITION_KEY, t0.SECURITY_REFERENCE, t0.SECURITY_TYPE
    FROM CENTRAL.SECURITY t0, CENTRAL.SECURITY_POSITIONS t1
    WHERE ((((t0.PARTITION_KEY = ?) AND (t0.SECURITY_TYPE = ?)) AND (t1.DEAL_REFERENCE = ?)) AND ((t1.SECURITY_REFERENCE = t0.SECURITY_REFERENCE) AND (t1.PARTIT
    ION_KEY = t0.PARTITION_KEY)))
    bind => [200706200000, DBT, NA]
    2nd query executed is as follows, where child table appears twice! ;
    SELECT DISTINCT t0.DEAL_REFERENCE, t0.PARTITION_KEY, t0.SECURITY_REFERENCE
    FROM CENTRAL.SECURITY_POSITIONS t0,
    CENTRAL.SECURITY_POSITIONS t2,
    CENTRAL.SECURITY t1
    WHERE ((((t0.SECURITY_REFERENCE = t1.SECURITY_REFERENCE) AND (t0.PARTITION_KEY = t1.PARTITION_KEY)) AND
    (((t1.PARTITION_KEY = ?) AND (t1.SECURITY_TYPE = ?)) AND
    (t2.DEAL_REFERENCE = ?))) AND
    ((t2.SECURITY_REFERENCE = t1.SECURITY_REFERENCE) AND
    (t2.PARTITION_KEY = t1.PARTITION_KEY)))
    bind => [200706200000, DBT, NA]
    Anyone experienced the same problem e.g. why is toplink making the query more complicated that it needs to be, because the query only needs to reference the SECURITY_POSITIONS table once, as follows;
    SELECT DISTINCT t0.DEAL_REFERENCE, t0.PARTITION_KEY, t0.SECURITY_REFERENCE
    FROM CENTRAL.SECURITY_POSITIONS t0,
    CENTRAL.SECURITY t1
    WHERE ((((t0.SECURITY_REFERENCE = t1.SECURITY_REFERENCE) AND (t0.PARTITION_KEY = t1.PARTITION_KEY)) AND
    (((t1.PARTITION_KEY = '200706200000') AND (t1.SECURITY_TYPE = 'DBT')) AND
    (t0.DEAL_REFERENCE = 'NA'))) AND
    ((t0.SECURITY_REFERENCE = t1.SECURITY_REFERENCE) AND
    (t0.PARTITION_KEY = t1.PARTITION_KEY)))

    Hello,
    It looks like you have configured your 1:M relationship to use batch reading. This causes the query to bring in the Security_Position table's objects to use the same selection criteria as was used on the initial query, with a join statement. This is more efficient in most cases as it ensures only the Security_positions needed for the Security objects to be fully built are read, in a single query.
    The selection criteria added is only used to filter out the Security objects. All referenced Security_Positions must be read in for the returned Security objects so that the data matches what is in the database. If you do not want the Security_Positions, you might try using indirection on the mapping which will delay the second query until you need the Security_Positions. Or, if you want only the Security_Positions with dealReference EQUAL “NA", you could do a query specifically to filter on them.
    Best Regards,
    Chris

  • Dynamic Link Not Working

    To anyone that can help..
    I am having several issues with adobe at the moment and really need some advice. i have tried adobe themselves, they struggled to help too, but that was mainly down to language issues.
    I have a Canon XHA1S camera with an external shotgun mic Rodeo NGP-2. All of which at some point worked through premiere pro CS5 and encore. i was living the dream.
    Then one day, it all started having issues.
    Problem #1 - Dynamic Link stopped working
    Once my project is done, i would send it to Encore via dynamic link and produce my DVD in either regular or blu ray. Now it doesn't. A box 'import premiere pro sequence' comes up but encore crashes before it can complete the import. sometimes a message telling me "the software thats used to decode the media is not available on this system. installing the correct decodes for the file your working with may help correct the problem" comes up too
    Its strange that i've produced about 20 disks with no issues but now a problem. was told by adobe it could relate to the file/pixel size? but again have no idea why this is now a problem now and not before, in fact i would just be happy to know how to change it so it can work? Can anyone help?
    Problem #2 - Audio
    The only way i am able to make a disk at the moment is to produce it on DVD maker - it's the only way until i get my issues resolved. however my external mic is not coming through, this has something to do with the sound quality to the mic being 44.1 and the DVD maker requiring 48mhz. i can't seem to convert this to work in anything but AVI (would like MPEG-2) but then the picture quality drops to something similar to a tribul rubbing.
    If anyone knows of something or can point me in the right direction i would be very greateful
    Thanks

    Especially for Bluray or DVD that is HD to SD, DL must sometimes be avoided.
    But the type of problem you are having may indicate other problems. If regular projects are not working, see these:

    Regarding the audio, can't you just export as 48K?

  • DB Adapter Re Import Table Not working (JDev 11.1.1.6.0)

    I am trying to refresh the DB adapter tables after a few columns were added. Here is what I did.
    Adapter configuration wizard --> Import Tables --> Query table --> Move the same table from Available section to Selected Section --> Click OK.
    A message pops up to confirm 'Re-Import Table'. Click Yes.
    At this point it is suppose to refresh the table and add the new columns. But when I click next, it says there are new columns available in the table. The new columns are not added to the DB adapter query.
    Has any one faced this issue? Please suggest any ideas or work around to add the columns.
    Thanks
    Ismail M.

    Re-Import table did not work for me even after lot of struggle. I tried tampering with jca, wsdl etc, re-installed the JDeveloper, tried on multiple machines but nothing worked. I finally gave up and recreated the DB adapter with 'pure sql query' option instead of tables. Re did the mappings etc. It was hard but I seem to have no other options. I will never use the table option again.
