Dynamic tag's folder

Hi,
I'm writing here to find how to add the dynamic folder "all the tags" in the Dock.
I had already tried but it's only possible to had every tag folder (one folder per tag) in the Dock.
What i would like is a folder which contains the existing tags in a "t" moment (the french expression is "a un instant "t" and i don't know if this is an english equivalent).

No, only the default colors, but you can have more than one tag on a file.

We work with Microsoft Outlook, but I'm sure this could work with any email system.
This error only came from external emails - what we did in the end is to get the third party to email a particular email (email1) in our company. This is set up as a regular email account. On this email put a forward rule to email2 for a particular sender/subject. email2 is set up as POP3 so that XD1 can poll it - we also block any emails except from email1.
Doing this accomplishes a couple of things:
1) We get around the error because XI polls email2 (which has adapter settings of IMAP4 so we can see MAIL adapter attributes ie. sender, subject etc...When we originally had as POP3 we were not able to see these - but setting as IMAP4 causes the error for external emailers)
2) We have a SPAM filter - the XI email is clean from SPAM and the adapter will not have errors, as it only receives valid emails to process
3) We have a central email (email1) which is used to archive all XI emails - we use this for all email scenarios (as we also save to folder and forward in the rule)

How to create a dynamic tag in MII

I want to repeat this item tag for different segments and for each segment the <SEGNAM> will be changing and <SDATA> i am fetching from DB. Is there any way to make this item tag a dynamic tag. so that i will use the same item tag for different segments.

Sounds as if you are using link type Assign XML. Please check the [link type|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_mii121/helpdata/en/43/e80b59ad40719ae10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm]. To append a node, you can either use Append XML or Append After XML.

Openbox with dynamic tags for windows (wmii/dwm style)

Well I tried wmii and a series of other tiling WMs and 1 concept I liked a lot, and that's the dynamic tag idea used in wmii and dwm.
In short, a single window can appear in an arbitrary number of desktops you choose, thus clever grouping of windows task-wise is possible, something like the "show on all desktops/sticky" flag, except only on some of the desktops.
The whole tiling part didn't appeal that much to me, but this concept I really liked, so now I am wondering if there are some non-tiling WMs or perhaps it is possible to emulate this in Openbox, does anyone have any ideas on this?

Can't find tagged songs folder

Have a 5th gen. ipod (classic?) newest verion of itunes and updated ipod, supposedly there should be a "tagged songs" folder unter the "store" header in itunes beneath "itunes store" and "purchased". Mine is not there at any time, i've synced the ipod, restored the ipod, re-installed itunes. Is it not compatable with tagging? Can't seem to find any mention of tagged songs in the owner's manual.

Beneath the iTunes Store and Purchased is Playlists. Do you mean Playlists? (Or even Shared?)
However, if the Playlists is missing...
move your mouse to the point as shown, and click on Show.
If this is not what you are referring to, you need to enlighten us, because I too, have no idea what else you could mean.

Inspector Property: Dynamic tags

Hi,
I am working on an extension for Dreamweaver, currently on an
Inspector. So what I understand is, that if you use the following
tag:

It will recognize any tags that look like <mytag>, and
the js function will be called. But what if I have dynamic tags,
e.g. take this: <%email_a%> <%email_b%>
So the word before the underline "email" tells me, what kind
of Property I have, and a or b are defining an array of values,
that are going to be saved in an xml file.
What I am looking for is some sort of function that will
allow me to use regular expression to decide which Property
inspector should be called.
(everthing with %email_ in the beginning should call the
email inspector, everthing with %address_ the address inspector
etc.)

Albums and tags in folder view PSE9

I have just converted from v6 to v9. In v9. I have a pictures folder with dated subfolders. In v9, using albums to search or tags, I cannot search the whole pictures folder ie all the subfolders. It will only search within the folder I am viewing. The means I have effectively lost the ability to search. It worked in v6 ok. I can search using albums/tags only when I am in thumbnail view. I have checked all the varioous options and views and cannot work out if something is wrong or a different functionality. In v6 when in folder view I click on "My pictures" all the photes can be viewed and I can scroll through all the sub folders using the slider down the rightr side. In v9 when I do this nothing is displayed and I have to click on a specific folder to view photos but only those in the subfolder. Any ideas how to solve this issue?

I agree. This upgrade has lost important features and is extremely slow. If I had only known, I defintely would not have upgraded.
Hopefully, the folks from Adobe are following this and will issue a patch to make the organizer usable. I'm about to just switch to Picasa for the organizer features.

Dynamic creation of folder in KM content

Hi All,
I've created a webdynpro application which creates a folder in KM Content->Discussion groups dynamically once the application loads.
I've created a iview of this application and users can access this application through the url of the iview
But the issue is that the users are not able to execute this application.I've following queries:
1) Is there any particular role that should be assigned to the user to execute this application
2) If yes, for the above question can we assign the role to the user only when the application is getting executed and then remove it.
I'll be grateful if anybody can help me out in this.

Thanks for the quick response.
I set the permission for discussiongroups as "read only".
I observed that the users having 'Content Admin' role are able to execute the application and the folder is getting created in KM content.
But the users not having content admin role are not able to execute the application and they get error as "500-Internal Server Error. Failed to process request.Please contact your system administrator"
Can you please clarify on this.Is it anything to do with the role

Dynamic Tag Query with dynamic tag name.

In our implementation we have 10+ users. Each one want to monitor only one production line ( eg. one tag value ) in the dashboard by default when they login.
I was able to design this requirement CONCEPTUALLY but facing some trouble technically.
Here is my issue.
Tagname will be coming from one of the BLS Transaction input parameters (Transaction.Tagname). I am able to build tag query using xMII Tag Query block, able to configure repeater. Here is the spot where I was struck. While assigning tag value to XML Row
i.e IlluminatorRow_0.Tagvalue = Repeater_0.Output{/Row/AssetUtil1}.
In the above assignment link it requires a hardcoded tagname. In my case it will be dynamic. I tried different ways like
1. IlluminatorRow_0.Tagvalue = Repeater_0.Output{/Row/@Transaction.Tagname}.
2.IlluminatorRow_0.Tagvalue = Repeater_0.Output{/@Transaction.Tagname}.
But no luck.
Can someone help in how to do this dynamic tagname assignment.

Hi Srinivas,
another option is to use "Dynamic Links" which from your sample code is what you were trying to do. For this, the proper syntax is:
Repeater_0.Output{/Row/#Transaction.Tagname#}
Make sure that the tag name you pass to the historian is the same as the tag name returned by the historian as part of the data set, and make adjustments for that. For example, some historians escape non-alphanumeric characters when they process your request (e.g. passing "abc.def 12-rt" as the tag name can be returned from the historian as "ABC.DEF_12_RT", etc.).

Well its actually a call transformation from an event within table maintenance.
The table is generic such that the tag names and values are specified by fields in the table. Ie. 3 fields.
1) Block
2) Tag
3) Value
I want to generate XML that looks like.
<Block>
<Tag>Value</Tag>
</Block>

Apply retention tag to folder automatically

We are planning to migrate some mailboxes from Exchange 2007, which uses MRM 1.0, to Exchange 2010, which uses MRM 2.0 (Retention Tags and Policies).
Currently, with Exchange 2007/MRM 1.0 (Managed Folders), there is a "Retained Messages" folder that contains messages users want to keep.
Messages in this folder will *not* be deleted after 18 months (expiration date for messages *elsewhere* in the mailbox).
Good news is that even if we uncheck the Managed Folder Mailbox policy (in the mailbox properties), the "Retained Messages" folder remains (apparently as long as there are messages inside) and this "Retained Messages" folder
does migrate with the rest of the mailbox in test migrations to Exchange 2010.
The next part is the tricky part...
We intend to apply a Retention Policy to the migrated mailbox that currently has only one tag "Never Delete" (this is one of the built-in tags).
Before applying a default retention tag to the migrated mailboxes, we want to ensure that the "Never Delete" tag is applied to the migrated "Retained Messages" folder.
Of course, we could ask users to apply this tag and once it is applied, we could add a default tag to the policy that would delete messages after they attain a certain age (180 days, 18 months, whatever).
Is there a way we could apply this tag automatically, and avoid deletion of old messages, in case users forget to apply the "Never Delete" tag?

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to make sure “Never Delete” tag is applied to all “Retained Message” folder in all mailbox. Then when the mailbox is applied with other Default Policy tag, this “Retained Message” folder would
not be effected. Is it right?
Please confirm if the “Never Delete” tag is a personal tag created in Exchange 2010. Based on my knowledge, if it is a personal tag, the user can apply it in Outlook or OWA client instead of server side.
Additionally, there is a blog indicates that we can using Exchange Web Services to Apply a Personal Tag to a Custom Folder. I am not sure whether it works. Just hope it would be helpful for you:

When I first add a song to a library, the entire song title doesn't always get in, normally because it's too long, is there a way to remove the limit in getting a song title from a new song? For example, if it is a remix it might go "Song title (rmx" even though stuff goes after rmx.
For a few albums, I'll edit the tag information but after playing it, the tags reset to their original. For example, the album name would originally start as "Album name Disc 1", I would delete the Disc 1 part but then if I played it it would go back to including Disc 1.
Add Folder to Library:
How far in a series of subfolders/nested folders does it go though when I add a main folder? Also how many folders within the main folder does it check? I know it doesn't check through too many. It is a pain to add album folders manually and I'm not just going to take all my music and put them in one folder instead of having them nicely organized.
Cover Flow:
ITunes crashes if I use this view, mainly because I don't think it likes to do OpenGL or 3D (some games it can handle, some it can't but always needs low settings) even if it should. Yes I've got the most recent driver. Its an Nvidia FX5600. I don't care too much about this because its only a problem I can fix.

Okay well the answer to Add Folder not adding all folders is dragging the folder into the library on Itunes after deleting all the entries. I've had to add my library back a few times, especially when I have to rename file names or move folders into more appropriate locations.

Can't assign tags to folder on shared drive

I'm having issues with assigning tags to a shared AFP folder.
On my shared drive I have a master folder, and within that I have 700+ other folders.
I can assign tags to certain folders within the master folder, but not others.
Any thoughts on how to fix that?

Disk Utility > File menu > New Blank Disk Image...
Create one on the desktop. You have the option of read/write format (which remains a fixed size as you add/remove files to it) or sparse format (size grows along with the size of the contents.) Specify 128-bit encryption. You will be prompted to choose a password for the image. Don't forget the password or the contents of the disk image will be lost.
Move the image to the external HD when you are done. You can then mount the image and add/remove files just as if the image were its own physical disk.

Dynamic tag issue

Hi,
Am rendering a jsp with a set of fields, whose tagIds have been given dynamically.
That is,
tagId="strRemarks_${container.item.strFollowupCode}"
where,
${container.item.strFollowupCode} -> is a dynamic value that will get populated when the jsp is rendered.
(NOTE: The values are getting populated properly and getting rendered well on the screen)
But, when this is done, am getting couple of javascript issues in the browser as given below:
