Dynamic Wartermark in AutoVue or where do the bytes come from?

I am working on an AutoVue integration with Oracle UCM and wanting to do dynamic watermarking for PDFs based on a various inputs.
PDFWatermark is being used to statically stamp a few watermarks but will not handle true dynamic (per request) watermarking.
After digging around in the trace logs for UCM I can not find the entry point for AutoVue to get the document.  It seems to be bi-passing all filters and even services.  Can this be possible?
Any insight into how to dynamically watermark within the context of an AutoVue integration would be helpful.
I'm more than happy to provide any additional information that is necessary.
Thank you very much.

Bruce,
When you say that you're working on an AutoVue integration with Oracle UCM, are you creating your own from scratch, or are you using the pre-built Oracle VueLink for UCM? The latter is certainly the recommended approach.
Regarding the watermark, are you interested in a View-mode watermark (one that shows up on top of the drawing when viewing the drawing in AutoVue), or a Print watermark (one that shows up on top of the printed output)?
Thanks,
Graham

  • Where does the data come from which powers the ship date and delivery date

    Hi All,
Please let me know, where does the data come from which powers the ship date and delivery date?.
    Adi.

    Hi,
DELIVERY DATE  will be maintain in the SALES DOCUMENT TYPES in VOV8 in the tab REQUESTED DELIVERY DATE/PRICING DAE/PURCHASE ORDER DATE.
The field is PROPOSE DELIVERY DATE .
If you check the field then the document created date will be the Requested date and will be carried from ORDER TO DELIVERY.
If you want the delivery date other thann the CURRENT date then you have to maintain the LEAD TIME in days in the same tab.
SHIP DATE: is the date on which you do the PGI in the delivery .
Please check them and revert back if u need further details

  • Where do the rights come from ...

Hello, I'm running an MSSQL 2008 server with windows authentification only.
I'm doing some cleaning in my security. I've set up some user groups in active direcory, and give them rights in sql server.
The problem is: some user, with (apprently) no rights can still connect to databases.
First: Do I have to create an explicit rule to forbid access to anyone ?
Second: how do I know where the rights come from ?
    Thanks
    Alain

    Run the below query
    xp_logininfo 'Domain\user', 'all'
This command should give you all the groups via the account has access to SQL.
If the user has a login access then they get the minimum permissions with the public role. Apart from that they only will get access if we give specific permissions. If they are part of a group and if group has access to read/write for example and you dont
want that to happen on specific tables then you can restrict the access.

  • Where does the commission come from in the iTunes affiliates program?

The developer's cut? Or Apple's cut?
I am interested in this affiliates program...but curious as to where the commission stems from.  Logically, I would think Apple.  Most the time when I try to think logically about Apple, I'm wrong.

I am a developer, with several apps on the app store...
My business partner is wondering whether clicks on our own links will cut from our own commission...I don't think so...I would think we would have seen that in iTunes Connect by now, from some other Apple Affiliate selling OUR apps...

  • Where is the data come from when BW extract data from APO's MSP

    Hi,all.
The APO system has many datasource,I have activated all the datasource with TCODE RSA5.
I want to extract APO data to BW(Not APO's),where the APO data come from for BW extract,APO BW or SAP transparent table of APO or APO liveCache?
PLZ help me,thank you very much.

    Hi,
APO to BI Data Flow :
    1. Normally APO  DS  naming convention start with "9".
    2. Normally Planning area will provide the data for the DS.
    3. Using one T-Code ( /N/SAP/ ..... Ask APO Person) DS will be generated .In the specified T-Code you will provide the relavant
Planning area and DS will be generated.
4.As you know RSA3 is for checing the data for DS.If you found there is no data for some fields then you will check the data at the planning area level (In R/3 table level).

  • Extending the Insert Bar: where do the labels come from?

Very much a beginner with Extensions; just a simple question about items on the Insert Bar.
When I look at the content of 'insertbar.xml', the entry for 'Heading 1' is this:
    <button MMString:label="insertbar/textH1" MMString:name="insertbar/textH1" file="Text\H1.htm" id="DW_Text_H1" image="Text\H1.gif" />
So my question is, how does the button on the Insert Bar read 'Heading 1'? That text appears nowhere in the 'insertbar.xml' document, nor is it in 'menus.xml', so it must come from somewhere else.
I haven't found any reference to this in 'Extending Dreamweaver', and a content search of the Configurations folder yields zero as well. Any help is appreciated.

Strings specified using MMString: have been separated out so they can be localized for different languages. They are compiled and stored in: [install-dir]/[lang]/Resources/strings.zbin (where lang is something like "en_US").
If your extension is just for 1 language or is non-localizable text, then change "MMString:label" to "label" and put the text directly in insertbar.xml.
If you want to make your extension for multiple languages, then store the strings in the [install-dir]/[lang]/Configuration/Strings folder and reference them by id. Take a look at the XML files in that fodler as an example.

Where do the "smiles" (or frowns, etc.) come from? I don't see anything about this in formatting text, or any other place for that matter, but I must be overlooking something quite simple, since I see these used sometimes in posts from quite new members. Do they have to be imported from some other site?

  • WakeOnLan Service...where do the requests come from?

I can remotely wakeup a computer from ConsoleOne with the WakeOnLan
    service unloaded from the server.
That being the case, can someone tell me if the requests come directly
from the PC or are they 'bounced' off of the zen server?
    Thank you,
    Troy

    Troy,
yeah the magic packet isn't routable, so you need either a) a WOL
server on each subnet, or b) enable directed subnet broadcasts for port

  • Inventory Management MultiProvider 0IC_MC03 - Where does the WIP Come From

    Hi,
I have installed the primary InfoCube 0IC_C03 for Material Movements and noticed that there is a MultiProvider 0IC_MC03 (Material Range of Coverage WIP )  and I'm curious how this would project WIP?  The Documentation doesn't mention any details about what really makes up this provider other than the primary cube 0IC_C03.
Where does this MultiProvider get Work in Process Values (WIP)?

    Hi,

  • Where'd the stars come from?

It seems as though this started after I downloaded the update for the Nano. When I used to play my music below the song title and artist there would be a bar showing how high the volume was and it would go to the left or right if I lowered or raised the volume. All that I see now below the song titles are stars. Sometimes coloured in sometimes not, depending on the rating. How do I get rid of the stars and get back my volume bar?

press the center button of your ipod.
Well don't I feel embarassed! Thanks!

  • Where the data comes from?

    Hi experts
Suppose we have some tcodes in R/3 eg mb51..
In which we can select say some material & can find some information related to that material..
Where does the data come from? How can we find that from which tables data is getting populated in these transactions??
    Kindly help..
    Regards
    Swati

    Hi Swati.....
I will take ur exemple.........Look in MB51........there are several fields.........Actually it is a standard MM report.......For this some ABAP program is running in the background......Now it doest'nt mean that all the fields are getting populated from the same table.........may be that this program is joining different table on the basis of some common fields and fetching the data........and aone field may exist it more than one table....
You can check that each field belongs to which table.............To do this press F1 on each field.........
Suppose on the Material field u press F1....There is an icon Technical Information.....(It looks like a hammer.....;) ).........click on it.........from there .......if u are very lucky.then u will get the table name directly........like in case og Matarial........in the Transparent tabl field .........the table name MSEG is already given.........sometimes you will find that the table name which is given here is a structure.........and structure does'nt holds any data..........it gets data from some table........So in that case you have to copy the field name >> Go to SE11 >> in the Data type field..........give the field name and click on the Where-Used List on the top..........Select Table fields..and execute.........you will find all the related tables.......which contain this field...........
Now U may be more unlucky.......it may happen someone has created a customized field using the Data Element.......In this case Copy the Data element.....Go to SE11 >> put it in the Data type field and click on the Where-Used List on the top..........Select Table fields..and execute.........you will find all the related tables.......which contain this field which is bulid of this data element................
    Hope this helps....
    Regards,
    Debjani......
Sometimes it may happen that is a Structure field only...........

  • Where does skype signal come from

Okay, I have skype finally. But after reading skype info I still didn't get an idea of how it works. Basically where does the signal come from. Is it like a cellphone or do you have to be near something. Oddly enough, there's no real explanation on these forums. Or at least the ones I've read. It seems that its VOIP, whatever that is. Does it need wireless, or cells... can I call to someone driving in my car or get a call from someone. What are the limitations? Confused.

Skype is a VoIP provider.  VoIP providers use Internet access in order to make phone calls.  If you are home you can use your phone's WiFi to obtain Internet access from your home's wireless router.  If you are not you can use either your phone's  2G/3G/4G data plan or the Internet from any WI-Fi access point you have access to in the area.
