If you shrink or expand your browser width, the site will not show the phone or tablet layout. You need to use their url, an example is given below
if you want to access about.html, then you should have three version,
www.mysite.com/about.html (For desktop site)
www.mysite.com/phone/about.html (For Phone)
www.mysite.com/tablet/about.html (For Tablet
Use three url to access three version of your site,

Am I right in assuming that if I create my website suitable for desktop, tablet and mobile that I have to amend 3 separate sites each time I update my website? If that's the case I'll stick with Dreamweaver Liquid Layouts and eagerly look forward to Edge Reflow.

You would assume correctly. Having some sort of tablet and mobile support is better than nothing but I do agree that it is very limited. I think they initially added it to give people something to remedy mobile browsers until they add something more functional, like cross platform editing or responsive.
Edge Reflow looks sweet. It would be really nice to have that functionality right inside Muse.

Having trouble transferring from Desktop to Tablet and Mobile

I designed a website in Muse CC desktop version and just need to create the exact same thing table and mobile version. Do anyone know a way to just sort of copy and paste all the work I have done on my Desktop layout to the Table and Mobile layouts. I have tried copying all the site plan information etc when I added the Tablet and Mobile versions but nothing happened.

Menu button works on pc but not on tablet and mobile

Hi! I've made a desktop site and I've published it. Everything works on a pc browser but into tablet and mobile, there is a button on a menu that doesn't work..the link to the rest of the site doesn't start. Maybe because that link goes to a part of the site that is too heavy (the structure under that button goes to 30 different pages)?

If you try to visit the site by tablet or mobile, you cannot enter in the section 'MARCHI' trough the correspective button. The other buttons work correctly.

Right way to copy desktop version for tablet and mobile

Watching this video http://tv.adobe.com/watch/muse-feature-tour/adobe-muse-designing-for-mobile-devices/
would seem that copying from the desktop version to tablet or mobile, you copy all the contents (texts, images,slide shows etc..).
But i doesn't work. May I have to totally rebuild manually tablet and mobile versions or is possible copy the entire site and then, if i need , make changes in each release?

HTML Responsive Layout for tablet and phone is not showing icons correct on a converted help file

I am using the Responsive HTML Layout in RoboHelp 11. On all of my new help files, the layout works great and my icons are showing appropriately. On all of my old help files that were converted, my icons do not fit within bar for the tablet and phone. I am using the Government Theme (Theme2_Government), but modified the file to have our colors and logos. I exported the .slz file and I am using the same slz file in all of the help files. The only help files that are cutting off the icons are the help files that were converted from previous version of RoboHelp. Any idea why this would happen?

I know that they don't actually touch anything on the site. However when you create a tablet version of your site, they "take care" of the redirection to the tablet version. So I am wondering if a search engine views the tablet version as duplicate content when everything is nearly the same... or does muse put something in the code that would let robots know this like a canonical tag?

Using Flash to develop to games and mobile apps

This semester I registered for an online course called Motion Graphics with my college.
The course was supposed to be an introduction to Adobe Flash and Adobe After Effects.
I signed up for the class specifically because I wanted to learn Adobe Flash to create games and mobile apps.
Unfortunately, it turns out that as of this semester my college is phasing out Adobe Flash from all of its courses,
and the course I signed up for is now only teaching After Effects and won't be teaching Flash at all.
I asked the course instructor about this, and she said it was because "flash can no longer work with creating many "apps" and other applications do not except flash." [sic]
Is this even a factual statement?
My college still offers several Java-related courses, but I really would have preferred to learn Flash and ActionScript instead.
I suppose my primary question here is:
Would it be better to learn Flash or to learn Java to create apps and games that can run on all of the most common platforms (e.g. Android, iOS, Windows)?

To be on topic, the course is about "motion graphics", and After Effects is an excellent, highly used tool in that trade. When creating video, Flash is used much less because it's very inferior. Again, in "motion graphics". With a robust expression scripting language in After Effects, Flash lost its footing in this department. Flash was probably only previously part of that course to deploy your video to the web, but it's not necessary or desirable due to (as kglad mentioned) Adobe discontinued Flash Player for mobile. Your target just changed to outputting MP4.
What you want to do, make apps, is a completely different world. Adobe AIR SDK is a great, frequently updated runtime that I've made dozens of apps with. Java is used with the Android SDK to make native Android apps. Objective-C with Xcode and the iOS SDK is used to make native iOS apps. Visual Studio and Azure (or HTML5/JS/CSS) are used to make Windows apps. The big difference here is the AIR SDK can get a good return on investment from re-using most of the code base of your app (depending on its type) by its scripting language porting to Android, iOS (and I think still Blackberry tabs), not Windows however.
If you want to make apps, you took the wrong class.
There are numerous frameworks out there similar to AIR that can deploy to multiple targets that are worth consideration on their own. From specific frameworks (like game-oriented) such as Unity to extremely abstract (used for anything) like Phonegap and standard HTML5 web development.
I haven't used Flash to make anything like a website in almost a decade. It's strictly been device apps, desktop apps, kiosks and product demonstrations. It's an extremely capable IDE for just about everything, except modern motion graphics.

MFA Server - User portal and mobile app web server should be installed where?

Hi. We are in the process of testing the Multi-Factor Auth server and are currently using it for two-factor authentication to RDS for a couple of users. At the moment we are only using the phone call/text options but I'd like to get the mobile app portion
working to test. Also still need to implement the user self-service portal for testing.
Currently I have a vm that was dedicated to MFA where the Multi-Factor Authentication Server software was installed. Now though I'm a bit confused as to if its safe to install the user portal and mobile app web service portion on this same machine
or if they should go on a different server(s)? Currently the box is internal but I'm guessing if it has also act as the web server we would stick it behind the TMG for external inbound access. Is external access to the primary MFA server ok?
What's the best practice for separation of the MFA roles; or is there none and its fine to just put it altogether?

You have a dedicated MFA server and if you install User Portal on the same server as the MFA Server, it uses RPC to communicate with the MultiFactorAuth service locally.
If the User Portal is installed on a different server, it must connect via the Web Service SDK. You can use either a username/password of a service account that is a member of the PhoneFactor
Admins security group, or you can configure client certificates. If using the username/password, you can encrypt the appSettings section of the web.config file if desired.
Under Inetpub\wwwroot\MultiFactorAuth when you edit the web.config file you need to make sure these values are set.

IPod Touch 64GB activated October 2013 - how do I get the free iLife, iPhoto and iMovie apps?

I purchased (from an authorised seller - Dixons Duty Free, Heathrow) and activated an iPod Touch 64GB on 18th October 2013 (prior to the announcement of free iLife, iPhoto and iMovie apps but after the 1st Sepember 2013 date in their conditions). It had iOS6 preinstalled. I've updated to iOS7. How do I get the free iLife, iPhoto and iMovie apps? The App Store is trying to charge me for theese.

Problem solved from information found in another thread....
If your iOS device was activated for the first time after September 1, go to the App Storeon your iPod which should open to Featured. If not, tap on Featured at the lower left of the screen & scroll down to Collections & tap on New to the App Store? then scroll down to Apps Made by Apple & tap. You should now see the iWork & iLife apps as "FREE."
