Dynamically Changing the Name and length of the Selection Screen Fileld

Dear Friends,
I want to incorporate a filtering option in my program,when the user selects the
column of a table control and clicks on filter option it has to open up a
new selection screen in which the selection option would be the selected
column.
for e-g if the user selects material the selection option would have the
characteristics of mara-matnr.
answers will be rewarded.
Thx.

  • Get the name and path of the calling JSP

    Hi all,
    I have a code structure like this
    class MyBaseServlet extends HttpServlet{
    doPost(){processRequest();}
    doGet(){processRequest();}
    processRequest(req, resp){}
    myPrivateMethod(req,resp){
    //I want the name of the JSP which invoked the servlet that extends this(MyBaseServlet) here
    class MySerlvet extends MyBaseServlet{
    processRequest(req, resp){}
    I have a JSP which submits in the <FORM> action calls MyServlet. Since MyServlet extends MyBaseServlet, and this has the doPost() and doGet() methods, the control goes here first, and then since MyServlet has overridden the processRequest() method , the control comes here.
    My query isthat, while in MyBaseServlet (either in doPost() or doGet(), say I call myPrivateMethod(), is there any way here, inside myPrivateMethod() to get the name of the JSP which called MyServlet.
    Note:
    The constraint here is that we are not in a position to include any code into either the JSP or MyServlet. I'm running this in a J2EE environment on Websphere.
    Thanks in advance.

    You can use the methods of the HTTPServletRequest class to get the URI/URL info...for example request.getRequestURI() /URL()/ServletPathInfo()

  • I have my daughters i phone now how do i change the name and owner on the i tunes account

    My daughter has given me her old 3GS I phone. I now have her tunes in with mine in my I tunes record. However I want to buy more tunes but the account is now in my daughters name and has her password which will charge to her bank account. How do I change it back to my account with my bank account details.

    if you have an iTunes account you can go into the settings and choose store
    -after getting to the store settings it should show her apple id
    -tap her apple id and choose to sign out
    -once signed out just tap the same section again to sign in with an existing apple id
    -after you have changed the setting in the iphone you can now go into the store with your own apple id and billing info
    hope this helps:)

  • How do I change the name and author of the book I have downloaded?

    I have bought and downloaded a book which has turned up in my library with the title Dokument1 and the author as Pero - to say the least, not correct.  How can I change the name so I know what it actually is and who actually wrote it?  Gotta say - I'm new to Digital Editions and so far I am completely unwhelmed.  Mobipocket is 5000 times better.  Seriously.

    I also have the same problem, it's very annoying. It seems to me that nothing can be done about it.

  • My bookmarks mysteriously change folder names and positions in the tree

    Sometimes when I go to add a folder, it gets repeated in different places, or overwrites an existing bookmark folder and mysteriously changes its location. It is very frustrating to try and categorize bookmarks when there is some gremlin or evil elf that confuses things. Category folders get renamed yet have totally unrelated links within it. Why can't bookmarks work like with some semblance of dependability like Windows Explorer does? What the hell is going on with bookmarks?!??

    This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

  • What is the name and location of the PSE 11 organizer database?

    Recently I asked about how the PSE 11 Organizer stores photos. The answer I received was that the organizer stores info of the photo in a database. What is the name of this database and where is it stored?

    Hi,
    If you are on a Windows system, load your organizer, go to the Help menu and select System Info - that should give you the path to you catalog folder.
    In that catalog folder, there are various files. The main database file is catalog.pse11db
    All the other files in that folder have their purpose. Be careful what you do with the files.
    Hope that helps

  • I have changed the name and password for my Time Capsule and now the Time Machine will not connect

    Mac Book Pro
    1TB Time Capsule.
    Yesterday I changed the name and password on my time capsule and also the name and password of the wifi network as I was having problems with the speed of the internet when using Safari on any of my devices (1 Macbook pro, 1 macbook air, 27" iMac, iPhone and iPad) all other internet services were working fine (email etc.) This seems to have solved the problem.
    However, since then, my time machine back ups will not reconnect and there is no option for me to reconnect to the existing back up for my macbook pro.
    When I enter the time machine preferences it shows as below that there are no back ups.
    Then, when I go to select a drive to use which should be the MacBook under the Backup disks the only option is for me to Remove Disk...
    So, my question is, how do I reconnect to an existing Time Machine back up for my MacBook pro as I really do not want to erase and start all over again.
    Warning - In my naiveté, I did click on the MacBook in 'Available Disks' but I got the impression that it was about to start a whole new back up and not work with the existing one.
    (And does anybody have an inkling as to why there was a problem with Safari on all my devices? I downloaded Google Chrome and that worked fine).

    Simply reset the Time Machine.
    See A4 here http://pondini.org/TM/Troubleshooting.html
    You can then mount the TC disk in finder after you reboot the computer.
    You should be able to reselect the TC disk and then it will say it is going to start a new backup.
    Ignore this.. when the TM actually loads the TC disk it will discover the existing backup and continue the backup.. but it will give no hint until it actually starts that it won't start a new backup. you just have to believe it won't.. and mostly it works..
    Please also install the widget A1 so you have some idea what TM is doing.

  • Changing the name and path of Targets, Exec, Products, etc

    I want to change the name and path of the Products, Targets, and Executables, but the text box in the 'info' window won't let me edit, and the choose buttom is grayed out.
    Any ideas?

    I just did this yesterday... and it's fairly confusing trying to figure out what all to change.
    You can change the name of your target and executable by selecting them in the "Groups & Files" list and then selecting "File -> Rename" from the menubar.
    It appears as if you can also select your Product and rename it in this way too... but (in my case) doing that didn't seem to actually rename the final app that's produced.
    In order to rename the actual final application I believe you must select your target click the "Info" button... in the Info window select the "Build" tab. Scroll down until you find the "Product" entry. Double-click that and change it's name. Note that you may need to change the product name for each of your build configurations (ie Debug & Release).

  • How to change the name and description of a wim using DISM

    With Imagex we could update the name and description of the wim with on easy command:
    imagex /info img_file [img_number or
    img_name] [new_name] [new_desc]
    e.g.
    imagex /info Win7Combined.WIM 1 "Win7(x86)" "Windows 7 x86"
    Since the ImageX tool is deprecated in Windows 8 and has been replaced with DISM, can someone explain how to update the name and description with one easy command using DISM like we could with Imagex?

    It looks like this person had the same issue. Have you seen this
    link
    It talks about exporting an Index into a new WIM. Which, in a way, would be renaming it. It's really recreating it and you have to give it a name. But it seems to work.

  • How to change of NAME and IP after RAC installation.

    Hi Friends,
    I have a challenge here...Would appreciate if anyone can help me..
    I have to install 10.2.0.3 Oracle RAC on windows 2003 server 64 bit.
    My issue is now the server names and ips are set and I am going to install the RAC.
    But the client need is that after one month, they need to change the names and ips of the servers (a one time change).
    Because according to their server naming standards, current production servers are having the acceptable names and ips.
    The installation was on a 32 bit OS, so they are facing out of process memory errors. Thats why they are going to 64 bit OS on new servers.
    After the new servers are ready, the data will be migrated to new server. After a month, they need to change the names of new servers to that of the old (current production) servers.
    Could anybody help me by giving me information about how to change the NAME and IP after a RAC installation ?
    Any metalink notes or commands as it is........
    Thank you,
    Mahesh.

    Hi,
    You can change the IP later but you can not change the hostname of the system.
    You have to install CRS freah if you want to change the hostname of the system.
    Please let us know which IP you want to change.
    You can see the metalink Note.276434.1 for VIP or VIP hostname change.
    Regards,
    KK
