E-63 wi-fi connection & Menu problem

I have recently bought an E-63 phone. I have found few problems with the phone.
1) Whenever I connect the phone to a Wi-fi network and access any website, the progress bar shows about 10% of progress and then the page does not load or it gives the message " No gateway reply".
I have tried using internet with open network setting of the router and then by securing it with a password. But the same problem repeats.
I have tried the same thing on another E-63 phone of my friend but the same problem exists.
However if I connect to the internet using my GPRS then it works fine.
Can any1 help me here with the Wi-fi problem? .
1) there is one more problem. Some times the Home menu button does not function at all. No matter how many times I press the Home menu button, the phone does not respond. Some other functions also does not work.
I have to restart the phone to use it normally.
I am not able to understand the reason for this problem.
Need help on this also.

With regards to the freezing issue, I presume you have your music stored on the memory card. Does the only freeze when running apps which use the memory card? Check this and see if there is a correlation.
As for the wifi problem, the QoS setting is different for every router. You need to go through the menus to see if you can locate it. Let us know how you get on with the other thing.

I tried in Firefox 3 and IE7 and they both seemed fairly slow
for any action to take place. But IE7 did seem pretty slugish.
It seems that you're already determined what the issue is,
you have waaaaaay too many menu items. Seems to me that that number
of items don't belong in a menu. There are even menus that are too
long to appear entirely on the page, so they can't be easily
accessed without accidentally hiding the menus again, which I did
several times. IN particular:
Cartuchos > Technologica
If you cannot change to a different format to show all of the
items, then perhaps you can split up the menu so that you don't
have too many at one time. I checked the code of your page and it
seems that you've got a lot of other scripting going on there
besides Spry, so is the issue with Spry or with everything else
you're trying to do with that menu. If you can try to recreate the
page with only the menu items on it (and not pulled in dynamically
on the fly), and then add back to your page a bit a time, you might
be able to find out what is really causing the delays.

Connectivity menu

Since upgrading to Belle on my N8 I find that during a phone call I often inadvertedly open the connectivity menu and activate mobile data, wi-fi, bluetooth or silent. Next thing I know I am being charged for mobile data. The only way I can avoid opening the menu is by not letting the phone touch my ear.
Anyone else have this problem or is my right ear unique and specially talented??

Might be just the way you hold your phone. The proximity sensor is only a small dot on a big display and everyone holds their differently. Usually the bigger the display the more change of the sensor is in the wrong position missing your ear. I had a similar issue with one of my big androids. It is easy to allow for it and "aim" the sensor once you know where it is. The display should be disabled when the proximity sensor is tripped.

Oracle.DataAccess 2.112.1.0 - Connection Pool Problem

Hi,
Oracle.DataAccess 2.112.1.0 is having connection pool problem. The no. of TCP connections to Oracle database keep increasing untill the server's session run out of limit. My application created connections, use them, close them, and dispose them properly. When using previous Oracle.DataAccess 2.111.6.20, the no. of TCP connections do not increase.
My database connection string has "Min Pool Size = 3 and Max Pool Size = 150".
With 2.111.6.20 version, TCP connection stays at 3.
With 2.112.1.0, TCP connection keep increasing for every 5 minutes. I've tried to disable Self Tuning, but still can't prevent the connections from increasing.
Later today, I downloaded Oracle.DataAccess 2.112.1.2 (it comes with ODAC 11.2.0.1.2) and test again, the problem is resolved... no more connection increases... but.... it is only for 32 bit Windows.
Unfortunately, there is no Oracle.DataAccess 2.112.1.2 for 64 bit Windows Server 2008.
May I know how can i resolve this problem on 64bit Window installed with Oracle 11g R2 client, which comes with Oracle.DataAccess 2.112.1.0, which has serious problems...(according to this 11.2 ODP.NET causing test runner failures )

Hi,
The only thing that jumps out within your problem description is that connections are being increased every 5 minutes. Are you sure its every 5 minutes and not 3 minutes which is the timing interval used by the Connection Pool facility to perform connection pool maintenance. If this occurs even when the application is idle then you could be running into the following known issue filed against 11.2.0.1.0 and fixed in 11.2.0.1.2.
Bug 9711600 - CONNECTIONS INCREASE BEYOND MAX POOL SIZE EVERY 3 MINUTE
This is specific to using the option CommandBehavior.CloseConnection when calling execute reader. Are you using this option and then also closing the connection in code before the datareader object is closed, if so you may be hitting this bug. You can also generate an ODP trace at level 15 of the behavior and if you see negative pool counts, that is also a diagnostic that points to this bug.
This is fixed in 11.2.0.1.0 Patch 3 or later for x64. If you have support, I recommend you open a service request to verify if this is your issue and if a patch set may help you.

I want to get the commandMenuItem tag's information, i use following code in onNodeClicked method try to get it,

Sudden menu problem in CS4: Running OS10 Mavericks. Anyone got a clue?

Cannot keep history and layers windows open simultaneously. Others likewise. By sudden I mean, one day it's fine, the next there's a menu problem. Assistance appreciated.

If you have placed your layout the way you want it, use the Save Workspace, give it a name, and only check Palette location in the Save dialog.
Then switch to another Workspace and back to your saved workspace to see if that fixes the problem.
Last resort is to reset Prefs. Hold down ctrl-alt-shift, start Photoshop and agree to the reset.

Spry menu problem - CS6 Dreamweaver

I wonder if anyone can help me with my spry menu problem which I have with a fixed 960px wide horizonal menu bar that has 8 items in it. The sub-menus don't seem to display properly when you click on them in that some of the submenus only show up at the end of the menu bar itself in Explorer browsers 8/9. Does anyone know of any code I can apply to fix this problem? I am new to spry menu features and so any help would be very much appreciated.

Also validate the rest of the code in your pages to see if you have any critical errors that need fixing. For example, a missing doc type declaration might explain Spry failures.

As an FYI, Adobe abandonded the Spry Framework late last year, after CS6 was released because Spry drop-menus don't hold up well on touch screen devices. If you can't get satisfaction with Spry, try jQuery Superfish. It's a better menu system.

Missing NFC Icon in connectivity menu (Nokia C7-00...

I have just Updated my nokia C7-00 Belle to Latest software Version 111.040.151, after updating I have lost NFC Switch On/off icon in connectivity menu. Nfc also not working while i tap to other NFC device. Any help?

I to am experinecing the same issues. The Nokia C7 - 00 is sim free. I am unable to connect to the 3 network. The phone can see the network when I conduct a manual search. Just not able to connect to the network.
Works fine with an o2 sim. Three mobile will not even assist as the Handset was a replacement from insurers. The Insurers claim the Handset is working fine and passes all there tests. Nokia claim the same!!
I have tried 3x Three mobile sim cards and all the same but all work in another phone.
The phone has worked fine for the last 3 months as a sim free phone. Tried a master reset and the same occurs. Anyone any suggestions.

Using internet connect menu extra in script

Inspired by this post I was wondering if there was a similiar possibility for the internet connect menu extra. Something like:

Remove 802.1X icon from Internet Connect menu?

Is it possible to remove the 802.1X icon from the Internet Connect menu?
When you open Internet Connect, you will have a window with couple icons on the top: Summary, Bluetooth, Airport, VPM, etc. Is it possible to remove the icon 802.1X?
I've tried command drag it, which does make it disappear, but when you quit Internet Connect and opens it again, that icon will re-appear.
Does anyone know the trick to remove this icon?

This icon doesn't show up at all on either of my macs. Further, I don't seem to be able to add or remove any of the icons that appear in Internet Connect.
It sounds like it might be something added by third-party hardware or software. I say that because 802.1x is the same connection protocol used by Airport. The only difference is that Airport is an Apple trademark. Do you use a third-party wireless card? Or have you done so in the past?

You can find the connection settings in Tools > Options > Advanced : Network : Connection
If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet then select "No Proxy"

10.5.2 failed to fix wireless connection dropping problem

10.5.2 did not fix wireless connection dropping problem. I lose wireless connection whenever my MBP restarts or wake up from sleep in the building where I am and have to retype password about 10 times a day. I had not had this problem when I used Tiger. Everyone who has upgraded to Leopard or has it installed on their Mac is experiencing the same problem. Is there any solution or trick to resolve this problem? Thank you.

Troubleshooting wireless issues requires individual attention because of the plethora of issues which can't be tested for. So please start a new topic thread here:

So you can get a wider audience, and won't confuse the original poster with solutions that don't apply to them.
There literally hundreds of different WiFi adapters.
Dozens of different virus and firewall combinations.
Possibilities for damaged WiFi cards and routers, as well as routers whose firmware is not to spec with the latest wireless standard.
To top it off, bad RAM, hard disk being too full, and bad preference, cache or or logfiles can make various aspects of the operating system misbehave, and/or even the directory leading to those files.
Until each person starts their own thread looking for solution individually, chances are they won't find one. Yes, 10.5.2 addresses WiFi for some people. Obviously it doesn't for everyone. The point is, there are some people, like myself who have never had a WiFi issue either with Intel or PowerPC Macs that they couldn't resolve without a little bit of troubleshooting. I'm happy to help you walk through it, but only if you start your own thread asking for help.
