E 72 - hard reset and memory card

Hi,
I am having some problems with the E 72 which seem like a virus, and i wanted to know what the options for reformatting are. Should i do a return to factory setting, or a hard reset?
Second, how do i make sure that the memory card is virus free as well? If i format it, how would i recover any pre-installed software that came with the phone?

If you are worried only about the preinstalled SW that came with the phone, then they will remain after the hard reset. You will loose your data, configuration and all installed apps.

Is it possible to play music from Zen and memory card together? Sometimes when I put music on my memory card ZEN had some problems of reset :S

I am a dork, a few mins messing with it i realized in the main menu of the zen with the card inserted hit removable disk and hook up via usb, now my computer sees the sd4zen dri've and i can dump more fun stuff for zen on there...
Sorry to take up space maybe someone will read this and help them with the same issue i was having or mods if you choose just delete.

Hard Drive and memory upgrade on macbook pro (13" mid 2009)

I want to upgrade my current hard drive and memory (currently 250gb and 4 gb) but i'm having trouble to find out which one is going to fit.

OWC is a reputable supplier of hard drives and RAM upgrades to the Mac community.
Go to their site, lookup your model MacBook Pro and see what upgrades are available.
The 1tb WD Scorpio Blue is a 5400rpm drive and slower than the crop of 7200rpm drives.

So I'm looking to upgrade my hard drive and memory for my 13" MacBook Pro. I'm still wondering just how easy it will be to recover my data, and put it back onto my new drive. I currently have everything backed up to an External drive using Time Machine. If I back it up, and then do the replacement, is it really as simple as it sounds to start it up, put in the Mac OS disk and then restore from a Time Machine backup? I have 150 Gb worth of data and would be ticked off if I can't get it back to my MacBook Pro. Any expertise out there? The actual installation looks easy, but it's the loading the new drive that has me concerned. When I install the new drive, is there anything else I need to do to prep it? And how do I do it if there is? Looking at a 500 gb or even 1 Tb Western Digital drive.

I would say get yourself an external enclosure. Put the hard drive that comes out of your MacBook pro into the enclosure. Put in the new hard drive. Boot up from the external hard drive, use disk utility to format the new drive. Use Carbon Copy Cloner to move everything as it is from old hard drive to new internal one. Re-boot to internal drive, you are done.
Carbon Copy Cloner is a freeware get it from download.com

iTunes: Restoring iOS software
You will probably need to restore using Recovery Mode.
iPad: Unable to update or restore
Recovery Mode Instructions
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.
Use iTunes to restore iPad.

Forgotten password tried hard reset and restore and nothing works

My daughter reset the password and then forgot it. I tried to restore, itunes said I need update ipad software, downloaded it and then got an error 3259 network message. Then tried a hard reset, and then another restore...nothing...still can;t get in.

Hard reset and error message sys(0505) (0.841)

My Lifedrive freezes continuously so I guess I need to do a hard reset and start adding programs one by one. I have just done a hard reset but find when I sync that all my old files (and problems) return. My Lifedrive will not let me delete old programs so can anyone help me to delete them on my computer so they are completely gone. Many thanks for any help.

Hi, and welcome to the Palm Community Forums.
The error message is raised here frequently. Search on 0505 and you'll find them. It is typically caused by installing MyPalm or MyTreo or MyHand (a handango mobile app) onto a PDA where it does not belong...they are for SmartPhones only. If you delete the offending application, the error should go away.
If you cannot delete apps from your LifeDrive, you'll need to rename the Backup folder on your desktop to Backupold. Then Hard Reset, and sync. Your Backup folder is located on this path:
c > program files > palm (or palmone) > [your device folder, usually an abbreviation of your Palm's name, or perhaps a combination of your initials, etc.] > backup

Well I have an update. I decided to stay as I was so far down the road. They gave me an engineer appointment of 14 of August which was totally disgusting.
I rang up to complain and was promised a call back as they tried to expediate my request. Never happened.
Whilst on these calls I also questioned the validity of sending another engineer unless they first checked that my local cabinet hard an available fibre port. I was promised and promised that they would put the notes on the call and it would not be a wasted engineer visit.
Engineer came today. Wasted visit - no ports on the cabinet.
He was not even sure why he was sent there knowing there were no ports. Talk about the blind leading the blind.
The incompetency of this corporation is absolutely astounding even when their customers are telling them they are going to fail they lie to your face just to appease you on the phone and move you on.
So I ordered my switch from sky to BT on June 6th.. and so far all I have is a phone line.
On top of this I noticed that they have charged me a late payment fee by DD and full line rental for first month. BT were so slow at installing it all that my up front line rental apparently did not cover their initialy switch over. Despite telling me I would not be charged I have been charged.
Now as a web designer I am now tempted to create basic website and use my SEO skills to push it to top of google rankings sharing with everyone of my experience of BT.

I usually sleep with my phone on charge through the night and I haven't had any problem since, I left my iphone 5 charging last night and in the morning it stated 100% charged so I decided to turn the power off normally (Hold the hold button till it says slide to turn power off) I turned it off and suddenly my iphone went straight to low battery. Although I have been having weird battery percentage changes for example it would stay on 1 % for an hour or so or drain really quickly.
I have restored it as i thought was the thing to do all it's doing it restoring and still stating low battery and I have charged it for hours +. I can't hard reset it nor restore it NEED HELP PLEASE.

USB ports and memory card slots not working

My Pavilion a6120n desktop has worked brilliantly ever since I purchased it. As of last week the 2 usb ports in the front and the 2 unused usb ports in the back have stopped working. My printer is plugged into one rear port and my wireless mouse is plugged into a second rear port and these work fine. I generally use a memory stick for data swapping or the card reader slots (which have also stopped working). I no longer see the memory card icons in the "Computer" window. When installing something new the "New Hardware Found" statement pops up but the driver install always fails. I think it is a software issue but there are no usb drivers to download on the HP/support site that I can find. . . so . . . Below is what I have tried so far.Run antivirus software. Full scan & memory scan - no issuesRun malewarebytes full scan - no issues I have tried restarting several times with no success. Restore to several previous restore points = failedRestarting computer in repair mode = failedRun the repair disk that I had made = failedChecked the power management for each usb port to see if the power was routed properly = okRemoved the case cover and carefully inspected the wiring and connectors.finally I tried uninstalling the usb drivers = failed Upon restarting the computer the last time the startup file must have failed and after several hours of attempting a repair I had to reinstall the Window 7 completely. You need to use the credentials for the iCloud account that was used to turn on the Find my iPhone service.
If you can't remember yours, you can recover it here: https://iforgot.apple.com/appleid
If you've been walking around for 2 years with someone else's account set up for Find my iphone, then you'll have to get hold of that individual. If you can't, there is no way to bypass activation lock.

I am having the same exact problem. model number PSCF6U-01T00D AND serial number 7D191268Q. I have the Satellite C55t-A5222. It was working fine except the mouse touch pad has never worked on it. The power accidentally went off during a hard reset and now I am getting no bootable media. I have no discs for it. Any help would be appreciated since my warrenty just ran out in Sept. Very Frusterating!

My ipad reacts slow on touchscreen. I have to really puss an icon to select it, and then tap it several times. Scrolling is impossible. And there is a voice with names all the actions I do / the buttons I touch. I have done a hard reset and itunesrecovery

My ipad 2 does not react well to the touchscreen. I have to push the icons really firm (kind of selecting it) and then tapp them several times before something happens. You have VoiceOver turned on. To turn off:
iPhone: Configuring accessibility features (including VoiceOver and Zoom)
Triple click the Home button should allow you to go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn it off. Scroll with three fingers if necessary.
