E_ADEPT_USER_UNKNOWN error operatorClient.jar
I get E_ADEPT_USER_UNKNOWN error upon login with my user and passwd in the operatorClient.jar console. Out of the 2 steps it failed at the license signing time -
1. Authentication URL (http://adeactivate.adobe.com/adept) - This went through successfuly
2. License Signing URL (https://nasigningservice.adobe.com/licenseadmin) - This is throwing error E_ADEPT_USER_UNKNOWN
I guess one user suffice. Do I need to register seperately for License Sign server?
I tried contacting customer_support but none of them know about it. I've filed 2 web-cases, talked to 5 customer-reps, wrote to [email protected] but no answers yet and of little help.
Is there a direct support for content-server from where we can get speedy resolution.
Also, apart from purchasing the product for 7K USD (along with separate per transaction cost), do we need to sign any contract (customer-support confused me with this)?
Also, do we have serial numbers for such server side products (customer-service was asking me for these which I couldn't find in the zip download except for few wars and pdfs)?

OperatorClient.jar throws an error while trying to sign in
Hello,
I get this error while trying to sing in in operatorClient.jar:
Signing in: java.security.NoSuchAlgorithmException: RSA/ECB/PKCS1Padding: RSA
OS: CentOS 5.3
Java: 1.6.0.16
Tomcat: 6.0.20This means the Java that you have installed does not have support for RSA/ECB/PKCS1Padding. What is the full output of "java -version", since I'm wondering if you have the Sun distro installed or something else?

I'm using WLS 5.1 SP8 on NT 4.0 and trying to setup a cluster. The cluster
starts fine except when I try to deploy a session bean that is marked as
clustered. I get an error about reading a jar file
(D:/weblogic/mycluster/server196/tmp_deployments/ejbjar1559.jar) that WLS
created when the server started. Every server is getting this error and I
tried setting up the same paths (D:\weblogic) but it doesn't matter. Any
ideas?

did a bug of this magnitude
get past QA. :(

Hi,
I need some help.

Problem Description=
I am doing cluster of weblogic server, I have no problem to set up the
cluster and to run servlet and EJB examples.
However, on my command line for startcluster I got a lot of message as

The message freshed about every 20 seconds.
Another question, I used a iplanet web server as a proxy server with a
cluster of two weblogic servers pluged in, although I set
weblogic.properties to round-robin, however, when I run a fibonacci servlet,
it does not do the round-robin. It always go to one machine for a lot of
times. Any idea?
Thank you for your help.
Tom
May i presume that your cluster is configured on a shared file system?.
I have seen this problem only if you cluster is configured on different machines
and if the directory structure is not identical.
let us know..

I received Multicast socket receive error when I tried to restart the weblogic cluster in our pre-prod box.
The error message I received lkie this:
Multicast socket receive error: java.lang.RuntimeException: I/O error opening JAR file from file:/vol01/sites/vinlkup/site/versionc/local_classes/VIN/DeliveryTypeLookupEJB.jar
Yuping,
What release of WLS w/ service pack are you using? Make sure, if you are using a non-shared file system, to have the same absolute paths to your application on your file systems.

Java.lang.RuntimeException : I/O error opening JAR file
Hi,
Cluster configuration : 2 NT boxes WLS5.1(SP6). On one m/c weblogic
is installed on drive C:\ and on another m/c weblogic is installed on drive D:\.
i.e. all jars are at two place m/c 1 : c:\weblogic\myserver\*.jar
m/c 2 : d:\weblogic \myserver\*.jar
When servers startup successfully, error is coming :
on the console of m/c 1 :
java.lang.RuntimeException : I/O error opening JAR file from
file:/d:/weblogic/myserver/eb_arn.jar
on the console of m/c 2 :
java.lang.RuntimeException : I/O error opening JAR file from
file:/c:/weblogic/myserver/eb_arn.jar
When both the weblgoic servers are installed on two machines and
on same drive(c:\), this error is not coming.
i.e. all jars are at two place m/c 1 : c:\weblogic\myserver\*.jar
m/c 2 : c:\weblogic \myserver\*.jar
Regards,
Jitendra Kumar.
Jitendra,
This looks like a bug. Please approach support.

Keystore error signing jar file
I am having trouble signing a jar file. I have deleted and recreated the keystore file. Has anyone encountered this error before:
[signjar] jarsigner error: java.lang.RuntimeException keystore load: Not logged inSee my update in this thread:

Rolling your own transactional report to replace operatorClient.jar
I've recently been told by our ACS vendor that since we have now switched to their certificates (and not using Adobe's certs), we can no longer use the operatorClient.jar to generate transaction reports.
Therefore, I have to roll my own transaction reports from the adept database. I'm looking for an overview of the adept database.
Specifically, when a book is fulfilled, what tables get entries?
When a book is re-downloaded, what data is updated?
BTW, I have the adept schema in my Mysql Workbench EER diagram viewer.
Thanks in advance,
Mark Gaither
LibreDigital Inc.Fulfillment is the transaction table I was thinking of. I don't know the columns name, but if my memory isn't completely shot, the transaction id, operator id, and timestamp should be in the table. I don't remember however if there is a fulfillment row created for every download, or just the first. If it is every time, then you will need to start/join with the license table which should have one entry per purchase, instead of download.
(if you want to take this out of the forums, pm me, and I'll give you my email address)
Also, given what you said, I'm assuming you have already done talked to them to try to get the transaction reports, you may also want to consider reaching out to Bluefire again - with the question the way you phrased it here:
'Since I can't get to the transaction report, what's the best way to get the information I need from my ACS4 database.'
Sometimes asking the question differently will get better results, and I've long been a fan at the people at Bluefire, so I'd be surprised if they didn't try to help you.
Good Luck. -

I am able to execute the JAR successfully from command line.
ThanksHi,
I am not able to load a simple java source/class(either one, not both) file into the DB.
$ dropjava -user user/pass -v A.java
dropping: source A
$ loadjava -user user/[email protected] -v -resolve A.java
arguments: '-user' 'user/[email protected]' '-v' '-resolve' 'A.java'
creating : source A
loading : source A
creating : A
resolving: source A
$
SQL> select dbms_java.longname(object_name),status
2 from user_objects
3 where object_type like 'JAVA %'
4 /
DBMS_JAVA.LONGNAME(OBJECT_NAME)

how i can resolve this problem?type in shell:
jar -tf fileNametor.jar
what do you see?
I recommend for a project 'pro':
x.y.pro.src
x.y.pro.classes
x.y.pro.docs
compile the .java -files from src with destination ../classes
cd src
java -d ..\classes *.java
then change to pro:
cd ..
from there
jar -cf pro.jar -C ./classes
-C folder will switch to folder folder and include recursively everything, e.g.
it.prova.foo
(it\prova\foo.class).
It took me a long time to find out all those silly problems, but now I stick to the same folderstructure everytime, and use ant for the build.
This took some aditional time, but with the same structure of folders I may reuse the build.xml (95% of it) and only type:
ant jar
ant bin
ant docs
ant backup
wich saves a lot of time and nerves.
Take care on the naming of windows - it prefers Capital names (It\Prova) which makes no difference to windows, but for jar, java, javac.
Please give me some dukedollars :) if it works. -
I create one test.jar file using Jdeveloper then i subclass one ITEM of that class. Then i make entry in configuration file to refer that JAR .When i run that form standalone in formbuilder then at jinitiator throws following error

class name and package name also correct . is it certificate issue coz doesn't create certicate for that JAR.what it is issue??Mangesh,
what does the error message say ? It says
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: java.io.IOException: open HTTP connection failed.
It obviously cannot find the class you are referring to. Since you preferred to not give us an idea of what your configuration file entrty is, all I can do is to ask you to double check your configuration.

Hibernate3 error(antlr.jar) on SJSAS 8.1 EE
I have Hibernate3 app deployed on 8.1EE. After a simple select query I am getting this error in the logs.
charScanner; panic: ClassNotFoundException: org.hibernate.hql.ast.HqlTokenI am using antlr-2.7.2.jar file. I copied it to server_home/lib and also in server_home/lib/endorsed and also added the classpath-prefix in the domain.xml. After all this I still get a ClassNOtFoundException Can anyone please suggest a solution.
Thanks. The class HqlToken is from hibernate3.jar as can be seen below
$ jar -tf hibernate3.jar | grep HqlToken
org/hibernate/hql/antlr/HqlTokenTypes.class
org/hibernate/hql/ast/HqlToken.class
Could you please make sure that this jar file is available in classpath -
Error Running jar file on Linux Server
Hi,
I recently wrote a small program to be run together when apache is being start up on the server. When the bin/startup.sh is executed, my program will be run together
exec java -classpath ./ZipLogs.jar com.btsoft.magic.zip.ZipFile
I included this command in the startup.sh but the following error came up when I run it:
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/btsoft/magic/zip/ZipFile
I placed the jar file in the same directory as the startup.sh.
But when I run it directly on the console:
java -classpath ./ZipLogs.jar com.btsoft.magic.zip.ZipFile
its fine..
Can anyone help me with this problem?
Thankswilliammandrake wrote:
I placed the jar file in the same directory as the startup.sh.That would suggest to me that your directory is wrong. I suggest you start by printing out cwd.
Could also be a permissions problem as well. -

Must I replace the admin.jar file with a more newer version of it? How do I determine the version of the admin.jar and if I update it to a newer version will it still be compatible with the rest of the settings?
Thank youThe admin.jar for the OC4J connection should be the same as the admin.jar in the remote server.
For version, is the zip file size and date the same. -
Im using this command to load a jar file.

My database version is 9.2.0.4.0
ManojFor your information, there are already XML parsers loaded into the database. If you haven't already done so, I suggest running the following query:
select
DBMS_JAVA.LONGNAME(OBJECT_NAME) as Object_Name
,OBJECT_TYPE
,OWNER
,STATUS
from
ALL_OBJECTS
where
upper(DBMS_JAVA.LONGNAME(OBJECT_NAME)) like '%XML%'
and
OBJECT_TYPE like 'JAVA %'Good Luck,
Avi.
