  • Biller Direct / UCES example code or ear

I am implementing UCES (UCES = Biller Direct + ISU functionality). According to Biller Direct Modification documentation (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005vp/helpdata/en/05/8d763ee8f9e946e10000000a114084/frameset.htm) (under Integrating Separate Customer Functions),
"The SAP Biller Direct delivery contains example code for customer-defined enhancements in the .ear file that you can use as template for implementing your own functions. After you have unpacked the application as set out in the implementation guide, you can find folder \docs\customerExtensions. "
The ear file or example should have CustomerExtendAction.java, CustomerExtendRootBean.java, CustomerExtendDataBean.java and etc files.
I don't have these files in \docs\customerExtensions folder.
Please send a copy to me if you have it. My email is [email protected]
    Thank you.

The problem has been solved by SAP. SAP has created a SAP Note 1083420. The Note has the sample codes attached.

  • Settings for order bom

    Dear All,
Can anyone tell me setting for order bom so that the order BOM is exploded in sales order and MRP can be carried out on this BOM
    Regards
    Prashant

    Hi,
Pls. find the details of Maintaining an Order BOM without Variant Configuration as below :
    Create an Order BOM :
    Prerequisites:
You have entered the sales order for which you want to create the order BOM.
    Procedure:
1.Choose Logistics ® Production ® Master data ® Bills of material ® Bill of material ® Order BOM ® Create.
The Create Order BOM: initial screen appears.
2.Enter the sales order number, the order item, the material number and the BOM usage.
If you want to use a material BOM, or an existing order BOM to copy from, go to step 4. If you want to create an order BOM without a reference, click  and go to step 7.
You cannot use a configurable BOM as a reference.
3.Click  Order BOM (copy order BOM) or  Material BOM (copy material BOM).
The Copy material BOM or Copy order BOM dialog box appears.
4.Enter the data required and click .
The item overview appears, for the bill of material you are using as a reference.
5.Select the items you want to copy to the order BOM and click .
The item overview for your new order BOM appears. The items you transferred are displayed in the item overview.
6.Enter new items and alter items if necessary. Entering items in order BOMs is similar to entering items in material BOMs. However, you cannot enter class items in order BOMs. You can find further information in the Bills of Material documentation in  Creating New Items.
    Save your order BOM.
Example: Creating Order BOM Without Variant Configuration :
The material BOM for material A contains components B and C, which are themselves assemblies. The material BOM for material C contains components D and E and the material BOM for material C contains components F and G.
A sales order is created for customer Smith, with the number 821. Material A is inserted under sales order item 10 in this sales order. At the request of customer Smith, for this sales order, the bill of material for assembly C is changed manually. Component H is added to components F and G. This change should not take effect in the material BOM, because assembly C is only expected to be produced once in this form, for customer Smith.
An order BOM is generated from the material BOM for material C. Since nothing was changed in the bills of material for materials A and B, in this sales order the material BOM will continue to be used for these assemblies.
    Hope this helps.
Revert if any doubt and reward if useful.
    Regards,
    Tejas

  • How to tell our licence is valid

    Hi,
    Situation:
We purchased an application that ran on Oracle 9i a year ago. We paid for both through the application developer. The situation has developed that there is now no contact between the developer and our company. We have no evidence (i.e. licence certificate) that we are using legitimately licensed database software.
    My Question:
Is there a way to check with Oracle that licences have been registered to us and that they are still valid?
Thanks in advance for any help.
    John.

John, carefully check over the billing paperwork and documentation that came with the new system and look for anything marked as a CSI number. It is possible that your copy of Oracle is legit but that you do not have a support contract. In which case if you have Oracle related problems your avenues for getting help are pretty much limited to comp.databases.oracle.server and .misc, OTN, and other public forums. But if you have a license Oracle will sell you a support contract if you want one.
If it turns out you have no license you can get an idea of what one would cost by visiting the online Oracle store at www.oracle.com/store
If your company and the developer are in legal proceeding then I suggest you ask the legal team to inquire about the license number as part of the proceedings.
    Good luck.

  • Stupid opera icons

well, now this is getting really weird... and annoying i have to say becasue it looks SOO ugly! :?
what im talkin bout here is the opera icon in the tray where also my gaim-icon sits for example,.. the one from opera looks soo weird ugly and i want to change it.
i already got som icons called "another opera icon", looked at whole contetn from opera package and found only images in "/usr/share/opera/images". so i moved all of these into a created "old"-folder and copied my new icons in there, also linked to them with the exact same names like opera_22x22.png and so on. also this opera.xpm thingy which i guess is the most promising one i want to change.
anyway, all this icon copying and linking hasnt changed anything and i have no damn clue where i could configure/set my opera tray icon, i cant imagine noone else uses opera here, or those who use it are happy with those ugly icons, so plz anyone gimme a hint

Thanks, McQueen. I'm going in the right direction, but I know I'm going to feel stupid any minute now. I created a directory called opera in my home directory and put the tarball there. I un'tared it there (tar -xvvzf). I ran the install.sh script from the console and got:

  • Biller Direct Documentation

Does someone who has installed Biller Direct using EP 6.0 know where to find detailed information about customizing the web application - ie. texts, graphics, etc.
The Modification Guide does not specify document names.
    Thank you for your assistance,
    D. Maupin

I am actually not just a programmer, but here are some points
    1. You don't need the NWDI if you just only want to deploy the standard Biller Direct version, but you need it if you want to modify anything. You can just use the SDM ("Sap Deployment Manager" located in the parent directory of the J2EE Engine installation directory) and deploy directly the SCA files.
    2. Yes, because the NWDI is like mixture of CVS/Subversion, Marven and deployment manager together. You can probably without NWDI, but then you have to spent some time to setup a project structure in your favorit IDE and to locate all the libraries for the dependencies. NWDI is actually not my favorit, but that's what God... ahem SAP gave us!
    3. I use the NWDS (SAP Developer Studio) to bundle and create the required EAR file. I also need the NWDS to checkout and checkin sources into the NWDI using their proprietary version control system, but I actually modify and debug the web-application by using IntelliJ IDEA, which probably the best Java IDE. The NWDS does not really like that someone is going to change code directly on the file-system and therefore you must always ensure the everything is in the "edit" modus, before another tool is going to change something. It sounds like more work, but if you are using my way you are still 2-5 times faster than using NWDS only and the quality of code is extrem better.
If you are going to change Biller Direct, you first task should be to get rid of the Framesets and make it to a single Frame. It's not complicated, but makes your live easier.
If you need support, you do not hesitate to contact me

Since you don’t allow emails any more – I suspect because of the numerous complaints with your service and the way you treat people that you don’t want documented, I am calling and I want this call recorded for future reference.
I have been a long time faithful customer of vzw and although the past year I have been late on payments many times and really couldn’t afford your exorbitant prices for services lots of other companies offer sometimes three times cheaper than what you charge, I have hung in there trying my best to meet my obligations.
This month has been no exception. You don’t know the background; the whole story of people’s lives. I know you could care less because all you care about is the profit-the money that comes in.
I was told when I agreed to pay my bill on the third per the recorded message that I had 14 days to pay…you cut me off anyway. The phones are not the tissue; your suspending my service means I cannot work. I may lose my job…how do you justify that? In any case? The least you could do would be to keep 4986 on and cut the phones off. But no. You refuse to compromise and meet the basic needs of your customer. What does that say about your company? I tried to call back on three separate occasions to tell you I couldn’t pay because of unexpected expenses but couldn’t get out of the automated system…sadly couldn’t get to a real person which also speaks volumes to me.
All this tells me this is a company I don’t wish to be affiliated with any more. As soon as I can, I will discontinue service with you…I know you could care less. I will honor the remaining portion of the contract but that’s it. You don’t deserve my business. I am a good, hardworking person who, at the sacrifice of myself and my needs, always pays her bills…albeit late at times. I realize others tell you stories and lies to justify themselves. That’s not me. If you knew what I had been through the last 7 yrs you would marvel that I am  still on my feet…don’t judge too quickly. You could be wrong…and in my eyes you are by doing this to me.
God will see us through this extremely scary time of that I have no doubt. No thanks to your company and lack of understanding and mercy. I am doing the best I can. Sadly you are not.
See I have choices. MANY choices of providers for services you offer. I don’t have to be treated like this. I don’t have to succumb to your coldness and callousness. I intend to choose better (and cheaper). If your company doesn’t get the “people factor” back you will be sorry.

Problem here is you admit you cannot afford the service.
And you want to blame Verizon for losing a job because you have no cell phone.
If your job depends on that phone I would pay it on time every time if you need a job to pay your bill.
No other service is going to treat you any different. And if you cannot afford Verizon's monthly invoice how are you going to afford new devices, activation fees, possible security deposits on any other cellular carrier? You can't.
Also if you made an arraignment to pay and then decide you cannot do so, why should Verizon extend you service or credit, or why is it you want to use the service and data and not pay for it as agreed.
Get a prepay phone. Its evident the cost is too high for you to afford on post pay.
    Good Luck

  • Billing doc types

    Hi Gurus,
Can I confirm that invoice list is not a billing doc type and
Returns and External transactions are also not billing doc types.
I am not sure if only 'returns' is mentioned, does it mean the Returns order , the Returns delivery or credit memo request of that return or the credit memo for the returns.
    thanks.
    M Russo

Yes it is true that you can consider Invoice List also as one of the billing document type.  I hope you would be aware of the functionality of Invoice List.

  • What is the difference when you enroll in your bank's on line bill payment program?

This is really more of a general question that doesn't specifically have anything to do with Verizon Wireless.  Somebody here mentioned that it's possible to have your bank involved in paying your bills on line?  What exactly does that involve?  Does that mean all of your vendors send their bills to your bank and then the bank automatically takes the money out of your checking account?
Here is what I do and I'm just trying to understand the difference:  Right now, each individual vendor that I do business with routinely notifies me via email each time my bill is ready for viewing on line.  I view the statement on line first to make sure it's correct and then I charge the payment to my checking account with my bank routing number and checking account number listed and verified.  Then about 2-3 days later, the transaction hits my checking account in the form of an "e-check", I guess.  I need to be sure that I am making the payments on my own and that I am documenting all of my transactions accurately in a paper ledger book that I still use.  It still comes in handy for me to keep a manual record and check that against my monthly bank statements so I always know what my balance is.  I still balance my checkbook.  The only difference now is that I'm no longer handwriting a paper check, using up postage, or using the mailbox every time.
The way I'm doing it now is very quick and convenient but with your bank's on line bill payment program, what exactly is the difference?

Thank you.  I think I'm going to leave my existing arrangement alone but that's good information to know.  I don't like any of my routine bills with the same amount per month getting paid automatically besides my gym membership fee.  That's just something I am anal about.  I usually get accused of being "fussy".  lol...But everyone is different and obviously it depends on your needs.
I didn't realize some banks charge a fee for their bill pay system but that's definitely something I would ask about before enrolling in something like that.  I went to my bank's website which I use anyway for viewing my statements and all it provides is an on line form for enrolling in on line billing.  It doesn't give any information.  Oh well.  I'll just call my bank's customer service line or speak to a banker at my local branch in person if I change my mind and decide to look into it later on.
So far the difference from what you described seems negligible in my case and that I really wouldn't gain much.  But then again, I just started with paying my bills on line so it's still a new routine for me.
    Thanks again.
