  • Edit Contract (E-Commerce/CRM 5.0)

    Hi all,
I have a requirement to allow the user to edit approved contracts.
I figured I'd add a 'Change' button to contractread.jsp and overwrite ContractReadAction, listening for that button click.
In the case where that button is clicked I create a ManagedDocument from the contract and add that to the document handler and set my contract on top. Then I redirect to updatedocumentview and make sure we leave there with 'negotiatedcontract_change' as the forward.
However, it doesn't work. I'm pushed to the welcome screen (forward = nodoc) after bouncing around different actions for a whiles.
I've noticed that the forward 'negotiatedcontract_change' of updatedocumentview directs me to 'updateworkareanav' and to '/b2b/onedocnav.jsp'. In here there's a check to see if the document is 'editable'... which always comes back as no.
I debug in 'WorkAreaNavAction' and force editable to be true... but still no joy... infinite loop of bouncing around actions ensues.
    So here's the question(s).
Can contracts be edited in CRM/E-Commerce 5.0 at all? Is there something stopping this from happening, doesn't CRM allow contracts to be changed?
Is there some other way to go about this?
    Thanks for your time,
    Patrick.

Actually just got this working... well, it appears to work.
Pretty much the solution I'd posted originally but with some fixes...
First, of course, I make a NegotiatedContract from the techkey of the contract in question.
Rather than making a ManagedDocument and adding it on top of the document handler I now make a ManagedDocumentNegContract, give it my NegotiatedContract, set the state to TargetDocument and specifically setChangeMode(true). I give the ManDoc the type "ncontract", of course, and the forward "negotiatedcontract_change"... then I leave my Z_ContractReadAction with a forward to 'updatedocumentview'.
I come to the neg contract update page, the header data is there and editable, the items are there in the table and editable... I can make my changes and 'Send' the document. The new contract neg still has to be approved in CRM, any new items have to be released in CRM... but it works.
One bit that I'm not 100% happy with is deleting items.
ncontract_change.jsp asks each item if it is deletable, they all say, "No", except of course any new ones that I might be adding... as such the delete checkbox isn't shown. I didn't expect it to work but I figured I'd test how the system reacted to me simply commenting out that check... it appears to work... I can mark an item for deletion and send the document... the item is removed from the doc in CRM... like I say, it appears to work.
I'm not a CRM/E-Commerce guy really, I'm an Enterprise Portal programmer that happens to be doing this just now... so whether or not this will break something in the business process I've no idea... but that's why we have business analysts and QA, eh?
Thanks again for your input though,
    Patrick.

  • NWDI Track defination for E-Commerce (crm)

    Hi ,
we need to set up newtrack for our e-commerce system in NWDI .In the document it says ..
    1)
"Copy original Software Component from SAP-SHRAPP to CUSTCRMPRJ
    • Change Context Root
    • Exclude SAP-SHRAPP from deployment "
    Q:What does it mean?
    2) during the track defination we have added follwoing components :
    CUSTCRMPRJ 5.0 sourceand archive
SAP-SHRAPP 5.0 source selected flag for excluded from deployment
    SAP-SHRWEB 5.0 sorce& archive
Q:Should we set exclude from deployement falg for SAP-SHRWEB 5.0 also?
If I follow according to the document , its overwriting this component on development runtime system..
Could anybody explain me what is issue ?am i missing some configuration steps ?
or should we set flag exclude from deployment for all standard sap components ? is that recomended by sap ?
    Thanks
    Tagore

    1)
"Copy original Software Component from SAP-SHRAPP to CUSTCRMPRJ
    • Change Context Root
    • Exclude SAP-SHRAPP from deployment "
      -  This is to create your DCs based on the CUSTCRMPRJ instead of the SAP-SHRAPP.
        Following describes the reason for it;
In order to be able to compare the SAP standard web applications with the extended applications, it makes
sense to have two deployments. The first one is the one delivered by SAP, the second one contains project
specific extensions. This chapter describes how to set up such an application.
) during the track defination we have added follwoing components :
    CUSTCRMPRJ 5.0 sourceand archive
SAP-SHRAPP 5.0 source selected flag for excluded from deployment
    SAP-SHRWEB 5.0 sorce& archive
Q:Should we set exclude from deployement falg for SAP-SHRWEB 5.0 also?
A: No, this is where you would modify JSPs and other java components so it needs to be deployed after the enhancements, refer to pg. 141 ~ 142.

  • Data flow from E-commerce to SAP CRM 7.0 , ECC and third party system

    Hi,
I have a requirement like the customers are created in E-commerce website of the company. When a customer is created the data should be synch to CRM , ECC and thrid party system ( price data from CRM  for the customer ).
How do we transfer the data from E-commerce to CRM.?.andn ECC. Is it transferred first to CRM and then to ECC. Can  we acheive all the systems synched at a time.
Can anyone explain with some design.
    Thank you,
    Regards,
    Prashanth.

    Hi
SAP CRM E-Commerce (called as WEB CHANNEL) works as per the below options (in CRM 7.0 and ECC 6.0)
    1. SAP CRM Web channel with CRM back end where CRM will be a leading system for order creation. From E-Commerce channel, the order is saved in the back end CRM system and then replicated to ECC (through middleware settings).
In this scenario PRODUCT CATALOG will be created in CRM system. The use of TREX server will be used for product catalog replication. Also, the image server will be required for the display of product images in the PRODUCT CATALOG.
    2. SAP CRM Web channel with ECC back end where ECC will be a leading system for ORDER CREATION. This is a new offering in CRM 7.0 where from E-Commerce web shop the order is directly created in ECC system. Hence no middleware settings are required for order replication.
In this scenario also PRODUCT CATALOG will be created in CRM system. The use of TREX server will be used for product catalog replication. Also, the image server will be required for the display of product images in the PRODUCT CATALOG.
    3. For customer replication from E-Commerce > CRM > ECC, you need to maintain the middleware settings between CRM and ECC for business partner replication.
    Hope this will clarify.

  • Product catalog from mdm to crm isa

    HI MDM GURUS,
COULD ANYONE PLEASE TELL ME THE STEPS TO REPLICATE PRODUCT CATALOGS DIRECTLY FROM MDM TO ISA (INTERNET SALES APPLICATION)
    PRIYA

    Hello,
I wish the answer was simple and I get all the 10 points. But, I have lot more to add than just giving a report program name.
Usually the CRM E-Commerce accesses the MDM product catalog as an external catalog. It is not customary to export the Catalog content from SRM-MDM to CRM-ISA. Instead the MDM catalog is Web Enabled for use as an external catalog by CRM-ISA. In the SRM system, the report program
    /CCM/PE_START_REG_PUBLICATION
can be used to publish the catalog. Usually, this is scheduled as a background job to run periodically to publish the catalog.
The E-Commerce (CRM-ISA) has Open Catalog Interface (OCI) hooks available to do this. But this needs to be configured in the XCM to access such external catalogs.
Please read the contents in this link for a overview idea of [External Catalog Integration (via OCI)|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm50/helpdata/en/2f/86653fac7ab21ae10000000a114084/content.htm]
Also, start from [Service Market Place - SRM|http://service.sap.com/srm] and goto SRM-MDM Catalog to know more about the catalog and see the Export process for other possibilities.

  • E-commerce for ERP

Where can I find the documentation for installation of E-Commerece for ERP?  We just upgraded to ECC 6.0 and was looking for a solution to move away from the old "Online Store" & ITS.  We currently use this old way for B2B & B2C transactions.
I heard that it should be packed w/ ECC 6.0.
I have a couple other questions: is there a specific stack that it is located in?  The current stack we have installed is the ABAP stack and not the Java stack because we ran into issues getting it installed.
Is there any new coding that would need to be done to port what we've done with the online store over into E-commerce for ERP?
What resources are needed to install, migrate and setup the new E-commerce for ERP?
Does it have a restriction on Browser it supports?  I know w/ the integrated ITS it only supports IE & Firefox.

Hello The specified item was not found.
Where can I find the documentation for installation of E-Commerece for ERP? We just upgraded to ECC 6.0 and was looking for a solution to move away from the old "Online Store" & ITS. We currently use this old way for B2B & B2C transactions.
Better late than never Good news is, you can leverage all of the new features and easily maintainable application. Bad news is, there is no upgrade path. It will be a totally new implementation as far as the E-Commerce side is concerned.
I heard that it should be packed w/ ECC 6.0.
    Can you be more clear.
I have a couple other questions: is there a specific stack that it is located in? The current stack we have installed is the ABAP stack and not the Java stack because we ran into issues getting it installed.
Java stack is mandatory for E-Commerce for ERP and you should be installing the component XECO  See if this note gives some tips on the Java installation. For more details, please open a separate thread. I can provide help if you are more specific.
[Note 1131482 - Add. info. on upgrading to SAP ERP 6.0 SR3 Java Components |https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1131482]
Is there any new coding that would need to be done to port what we've done with the online store over into E-commerce for ERP?
SAP E-Commerce for ERP is a Java Web application and runs in a J2EE compliant Java application server (read as Java stack). The Online store was totally ITS and any changes you have made in them can not be reused in the E-Commerce application.
What resources are needed to install, migrate and setup the new E-commerce for ERP?
    [Consulting team |http://www.parxlns.com/index.php~page=Services&sub=ProjectEngagement.html]consisting of
SD functional with SAP E-Commerce skills,
E-Commerce technical (one who has Java development skills),
    E-Commerce technical (ABAP skills)
It will be great if the incumbent technical consultants know about Online Store and ITS (Flow logic etc). to understand the custom enhancements to the store.# Business Analyst - to migrate / redesign the catalog and the strore front.
Does it have a restriction on Browser it supports? I know w/ the integrated ITS it only supports IE & Firefox.
    Check this SAP Note
[ Note 881967 - Browsersupport for E-Commerce CRM 5.0|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/881967] - The note lists all the browsers supported by CRM E-Commerce 5.0, but it is applicable to ECC version as well. The note has refrences to other interesting notes too.

  • E-commerce on mobile

    hi all expert,
how does e-commerce eg b2c webshop can be integrated for mobile?
if yes, how does it fit into all platform (iphone/andriod application and typical web mobile browser) , eg alignment, font size, etc of each mobile screen.
    thanks,
    Shanti

how does e-commerce eg b2c webshop can be integrated for mobile?
Is this question specific to SAP Web Channel E-Commerce B2C? What exactly you mean by "integrated to mobile".
If you are thinking of the  above in smart phones with full-blown browsers, then you have to take care of the variations. Safari browser in Apple platforms, Opera picking up in Android platforms, then you have Blackberry and last but not the least,Palm. Does SAP support these browsers out-of-the-box? Answer is not exactly.
See the SAP Note [Note 881967 - Browser support for E-Commerce CRM 5.0|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/881967]  for the supported browsers.
In my opinion, browser support is not be the only issue. Identify the target platforms and test thoroughly for "mobile" environment, including the UI experience. Even if the app works as is in the mobile smart phone browser, no sane company will release this app in mobile and expect users to use it.
The current SAP Web channel apps are NOT designed for mobile UI experience. Need different mindset and need to redesign the entire app...

  • JDeveloper 10 G Preview Feedback / Review

To date, I'm three days into my evaluation of Oracle solution. In specific, a drill down comparison of JDeveloper/DS 10G, OC4J, Standard One versus lifecycle solutions provided by both IBM Rational and Borland. I have a rather large commerce CRM/ERM project on the board and I'm considering switching from opensource to Oracle tools and servers, and would like gather objective commentary from the Oracle forum/developers along these lines. I've starting off by reviewing DS, and I've noting a few point about the IDE and development system in general:
Keeping in mind it is a preview (or broke beta?), overall I like the direction this integrated system could take my projects. But here are the quirks:
    - The resource abstraction is kind of irritating. I remember the days of Pre-JBuilder-5x where you could not delete things and file/resouce management was akward. That's what we have here. Example: there's no way to delete files in a web application after you've created them. There's also no durect way to make or delete folders either.
    - A GUI for editing WEB.XML files and other configs would be nice. Throw in a comprehensive JVM and library configuration browser too for show.
    - Project within a project? node on node?
    - More diverse compiler support (jikes) and obfuscation?
    - More robust code editor. Method and region colapsing. And some refactoring tools.
    - The Window behavior is quite 'error-atic'. There's no way to reset the workspace either. The Swing toolkit of the UI could use some optization.
    - Data diagrams only work with Oracle. It would rock if they supported diverse data sources.
    - No use case, state, and interaction diagrams makes me a sad panda. An all around RT-UML IDE other than RRXDE would be nice. With better doc support.
    - Visual tiles support? More app. general Web Modeling.
    - Working with custom JSP tag libraries is akward. It would be nice if I could import a DTD or SCHEMA and have syntax editing and insight update automagically.
    - Content added from origens outside JDeveloper don't get updated and can't be viewed in Application view. JD also ignores custom application filesystem settings.
    - Being able to mount filesystems across SSH or FTP and have local cache check in/out would be a plus.
    - XHTML ( and I mean real XHTML support ) and other systax like Perl would rock.
In closing, I think JDeveloper could become the best IDE on the market. Quite frankly, I setting for JBuilder/Together cause I can't see paying the price of WebSphere/Rational XDE (great product too). For the price, JDeveloper will be an outstanding value. I'd like to see it replace all of my J2EE Development tools.
    -Cheers

This is bug # 3100586. We plan to fix this for production release.
Unfortunately the workaround is very manual. (i.e delete the files from file system)
In the navigator select the EJB you want to delete.
Remove from model using File | Remove from model menu
    This would update ejb-jar.xml.
    Rest is manual.
    thanks for the feedback

  • CRM 5.0, e-Commerce 5.0, e-Selling (Internet Sales)

    Dear all,
we are currently facing problems getting the e-Selling (Internet Sales) application to work. Unfortunately none of my colleagues and I have worked with these applications.
    We are using:
    - NetWeaver EP 7.0 Portal Level 12
    - SAP CRM 5.0 with BBPCRM 5 Level 10
    We have deployed:
    - Business Package for SAP CRM 5.0
    - Business Package for High Tech Channel Management 5.0
Shouldn't the e-Selling (former Internet Sales) application already be there as default within the e-Commerce 5.0?
And isn´t the e-Commerce 5.0 included in the SAP CRM 5.0 as default?
Is there any special package that must be deployed to the SAP CRM 5.0 or EP 7.0 Portal? Except "SAP e-Commerce for SAP R/3" and the "Internet Sales" packages because they must be obsolete for our systems i guess.
    Lots of questions....
Thank you very much for your help & Best regards

Q   Shouldn't the e-Selling (former Internet Sales) application already be there as default  within the e-Commerce 5.0?
Answer:  NO.  there is no e-Selling default application.
    Please do the following:
1)You have to download the right application from the service.sap.com and then deploy the default application to the WAS ( you can maybe use the same Portal WAS).
2)further you need to configure the ISA application( B2B or B2C) using the XCM
3)setup a shop. install and configure TREX. Create a Product catalog and replicate it to TREX.
    4) Make design decision on UME/Single Sign-on etc etc
    5) ALL the above steps assumes that a Transaction type which you need to use in ISA scenario is already in place
    6) Further IPC relevant stuff needs to be done depending on what kind of prices you want to display.
these are the most basic things which you NEED to do.
