E-mail address on closed MobileMe account on new iCloud account.

So I had tried MobileMe a few years ago and created an e-mail address. I never kept the account and now want to use that same e-mail address on iCloud. It tells me that its in use and when I go to me.com and try to sign in it says I can't renew.
Is is possible to cancel all that out and use that e-mail address on my current iCloud account?

I had a problem like that. After a system upgrade, I started over with an icloud account. Then yesterday I was asked to manually enter my appleid. Because I was new to icloud, I was able to talk to a tech at Apple. After the call was over, I realized that my old MobileMe account had resurfaced and my new icloud account was lost.

Not after forgetting the answers. You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Syncing read/unread e-mail for a non-mobileme account

While mobileme accounts sync fine. My work account doesn't. So if I use Mail on my iPhone, I have to go through my e-mail twice. Every e-mail on the server is marked as unread so I have hundreds of e-mail waiting to be downloaded to my iPhone.
Is there a way to sync read/unread e-mail for a non-mobileme account?

The reason this is available with your MobileMe account is because your MM account is an IMAP account. An IMAP account is designed for this very thing - accessing an email account with more than one email client on different computers and/or devices keeping all server stored mailboxes for the account synchronized with the server automatically with each email client used to access the account.
The same is available with any IMAP account, and this is supported with an Exchange account accessed via ActiveSync with the iPhone's mail client.
Your work account must be a POP account, which isn't supported with a POP account. Although it is possible to access a POP account with more than one email client, a POP
account is designed to be accessed with a single email client only.

go to id.apple.com, manage ur apple id, sign in, change primary email to the new one. this will change ur apple id to the new email address and ull get to keep ur purchases

Hi,
You just need to register the email address you want for your PayPal account to the form, so that the current PayPal email used by the form will be replaced. To do that, simply open the form, go to Options -> Collect Payments. In the PayPal Setup tab, enter the new email address and click Register.

I do not know the password for that account, nor are the security questions correct (e.g. it asked my birth date, but, when I listed it, I was told it was not correct). I have no way to get into the program, to correct an information. How do I delete this account and start anew?

If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. You can now go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your correct iCloud ID and password.
If you don't have access to your old email address, you will have to contact Apple to have them reset the password so you can disable Find My iPhone and sign into your iCloud account. in CRM Marketing you have the possibility to segment on the attribute "E-mail address maintained". This attribute is part of the standard infoset CRM_MKTTG_BP_ADDR. This attribute checks if field FLAGCOMM6 in table ADRC is flagged. This field is marked when an e-mail adress is maintained for corporate accounts. Anyway, this flag ist not set, if the e-mail address for private accounts is maintained.
Why is this flag only set for corprate accounts and what do I have to do if I also want to have an attribute in segmentation to check if an e-mail address is maintained for a private account.

if you want to check the email address (private acccount), you can't use the standard infoset CRM_MKTTG_BP_ADDR, because this infoset include the tables but000, but020 and adrc.
You need the table but051 there is a attribute SMTP_ADDRESS. After you created a infoset with this table you can create a filter with this attribute SMTP_ADDRESS, which check if the field is empty.

For about the last 10 years I’ve had my own domain name [www.morrisacevedo.com] It’s been hosted by various companies. The latest one was Network Solutions. However, I just moved my website over to my Mobile Me account. The reason is that I was able to make a much better looking and functioning website on my own with iWeb than I was able to with DreamWeaver given my limited skills.
My website is currently on the Mobile Me account and not on Network Solutions and is working perfectly. The Network Solutions account ends at the end of November but I wanted to move the website before it expired.
Here is my question:
I have also had my e-mail address for the website as [email protected] My e-mail is working but I think that it’s still going through Network Solutions. How do I transfer [email protected] over to Mobile Me so that it still works after my Network Solutions account ends in a couple of weeks?
I just have feeling that pointing [email protected] over to the Mobile Me hosting may not have taken care of my e-mail account as well. Does that make sense?

I don't believe you can transfer/forward the email to MMe. When your contract ends with your current host so should the email address. If your site is up and running on MMe today, put a notice on your first page that you email address has changed and give it. But don't put it in text. Type in it iWeb and then take a screenshot of it and post the screenshot image file. You don't want spam crawlers harvesting your email address.
You could encode your email address by one of the methods in this demo page: Embedding Forms & Encoding Email Addresses.
You do know that you can create alias email addresses with your MMe account. You can have one for personal, one for business and one for online shopping (if you start getting span at that shopping email address you can delete it from the aliases and create a new alias).
Also, until your contract is up in November forward your old email to your new MMe email so your replies will be from your new email address.

Need to change E-mail address on my Spotify Account

I need to change my e-mail address that I used to set up my Spotify account as the e-mail address is no longer active. When I try to change it within the Spotify account I can't as my password isn't recognized under my new e-mail address, which of course hasn't been set up yet. Well that is certainly inconvenient. I'm not sure the reason that you are unable to change your email address. It might help to contact Spotify by filling out the contact form here: https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/?contact . They should be able to change your email address for you since you are unable to do so. Be sure to give them both the old and the new address, as well as any other info they might need to locate your account. Hopefully they can get your account fixed up for you quickly!

Why can I not access ICloud mail on Mac Mail anymore. When I reopen a new ICloud account, the "incoming server" box is gray and I cannot enter anything. This happened the 3-4 times I attempted to start a new icloud account?

Was getting ICloud mail then it stopped. Icons next to ICloud on my mac mail say it's a netweork error. I tried deleting the iCloud account several times and reentering it but it always leaves out the info that goes into the "incoming server" box and there is no way to manually enter it as the box is grayed out.

Sign out of iCloud (system preference>iCloud) reboot and sign back in.
