E-mail alert for sales managers.

Dear all,
We are using SAP CRM 6.0. I was configuring e-mail alert for the managers whenever a transaction is created in crm. The mail is delvering but iam not able to send the object id and transaction category. Please help.

I have the same problem!
I bought this phone specifically for this feature and I can't for the life of me get any alert for my Yahoo mail account.
I've downloaded the Yahoo App from the Nokia store and have checked the "activate e-mail alerts" box and that doesn't work.
I've logged into my Yahoo account and tried to connect it that way but there are no options to do so.
I've followed the link on the Yahoo site where they have sent a link to me via text to sync it that way and no joy.
Aaahhhh, its driving me crazy!!!!!
Please help!!!!!!!

How to set automatic e-mail alert for 90% threshold reach for MAXDBdatabase

Hi,
I want to set automate e-mail alert for 90% threshold reach for MAXDB database i.e. data area. I want to know where i can set the automate e-mail alert for data area in MAXDB database? As i have already have script for oracle tablespace alert if tablespace reaches 90% it sends me an auotmated e-mail.
Please let me know where to do the settings or any script available for MAXDB database data area automate e-mail alert....

Different mail alerts for each email account

Just got the new Verizon iPhone. Used BlackBerry for years. One feature of the BB that I think is missing from the iPhone is the ability to set different mail alerts for each email account. For instance, I would like to turn off alerts for my corporate Exchange account (for which I get 100 emails a day), but receive alerts for my Comcast and Gmail accounts.
Am I correct that there is only one on or off feature for the iPhone for all accounts?

That turns the account off for receiving mail as you provided, which I'm fairly certain the OP is not interested in.
The OP wants to be able to turn the new mail alert sound off for one account while leaving it on for another account while all accounts are still checked for new messages.
For instance, I would like to turn off alerts for my corporate Exchange account (for which I get 100 emails a day), but receive alerts for my Comcast and Gmail accounts.

In my question i am refering to Seeded Alerts(triggered to mails) provided by Oracle for each module.
Run the following query to view Oracle seeded Alerts for projects in Vision Instance:

E-Mail alerts for queues in SMQ2

Hi,
In a asynchronous IDOC->ABAP Proxy scenario, some of the messages are getting stucked in the transaction SMQ2 in PI system.This happens only when we send 100 IDOCs to PI at the same time and only 5-10 messages are getting stucked with status as "Running". The remaining messages are processed and send to the target system.
I would like to know a solution to trigger an E-mail alert to a specific Mail id if any messages gets stuck in the queue for more than 5 minutes.
Do we need to configure CCMS to achieve this? If so, please let me know the steps.

Incoming messages - E-Mail Alerts for Application Errors?

Dear C4C Community,
We are integrating C4C and our SAP ERP. Sometimes the business partner replication is not working due to unmapped entries or due to other reasons. Currently we are checking the web service message monitor manually for incoming message with status "Application Error".
Is there any way to setup an automatic e-mail alert when new incoming message errors appear? I do not like the manual monitoring process.

Can I have only certain e-mails alert me with a tone and let all others remain silent in iOS5? Automated mail function for sales order acknowledgement

Hi Friends,
We have a requirement for automated functionality for sending mail to the sold to customers when the order is first saved.
We already have a customer program to convert into PDF and mail directly.
But this is to automatically send the mail to sold to customer. I think for acknowledgement we have already a existing outputtype.
I understand that we need to maintain the mail address over the customer master of the sold to.
Apart from this, is there that we need to maintain to have this automated functionality of sending mails.
I had tested with existing Z otuput type by changing the transmission medium to 5 and entering my own email id where it prompts to enter mail id. But it wont send any mails.
Just wondering if we have any determined steps that i can follow.

Order acknowlegement output BA00 or your copy of this one is capable of using medium 5 to send SMTP mail to an external address ( even PDFs can be attached is your want). When you trigger the medium 5 output, did the output get process successfully and you get a green light in your output screen? If not, have a look to see if a communication strategy is assigned. If yes, your configuration is OK. What is missing is mostly likely that Basis have not set up SAPCONNECT to send SMTP mail externally for you.

CCMS MAIL ALERT FOR STANDBY DATABASE

I've configured the CCMS alert monitor in my entire landscape & I'm successfully getting alert mails from CCMS alert monitor (T-codes involved are RZ20 & RZ21).
I want to activate the same functionality for my standby database. At least I want to configure the CCMS alert monitor for File System Utilization in my Standby database.
Can any one guide me about the configuration setting for file system utilization in Standby Database through CCMS monitor.

Highlevel steps:
- Install the sapccm4x agent on the standby host
- Register the agent to the CEN
- In the agent home directory create a file like oscolfilter.ini In this file enter the filesystems you would like to monitor
- Add the oscolfilter.ini file into the sapccmsr.ini file This is also located in the agent home directory
- Create a MTE for filesystem monitoring in your CEN. Add the relevant monitor attribute there.
- Assign autoreaction via RZ21

When ever a purchase order is created by clerk & once if it is approved by manager.
It is required to trigger a automatic mail to the senior level that specific PO is approved. Please advice me on this

Actually this should be done from functional side. And you should post this to MM module.
For your information, you can configure a workflow for this purpose.
So email alert will be sent by system for approval.

Animated Mail Alert for Hearing Impared

Entourage has an option for an animated icon or a sound alert when new mail is received. Mac Mail seems to only have a sound alert. I need the dock to be hidden (the more screen space for graphical layouts the better) but I don't know when new mail comes in. Can anyone help?:

There is no way pressing any keyboard shortcut could toggle that setting. That’s what I’m trying to tell you, that this objection to Sherman’s suggestion doesn’t make sense at all. If you don’t find that solution convenient for whatever other reasons, that’s fine, but please don’t make objections that don’t make sense.
If you want Mail bounce in the Dock when new mail arrives, you may set up a rule as follows:
If [any/all] of the following conditions are met:
[Every Message]
Perform the following actions:
[Bounce Icon in Dock]
Such a rule would also have some drawbacks, though.
One is that, once Mail starts bouncing, the only way to stop it is by making Mail the active application. It may seem no big deal... until you realize that it happens even if Mail is already the active application...
Another problem is that, because the junk filter rule is evaluated after all the other rules, Mail will bounce in the Dock for newly arrived junk mail as well. The workaround in that case is to either (1) change the condition of the rule so that Mail only bounces in the Dock for messages you’re really interested in, or (2) go to Preferences > Junk Mail > Advanced, take note of how the junk filter rule is defined (you can make a screen shot of it), set up a custom rule that does exactly the same, and place it above the rule that makes Mail bounce when new mail arrives.
