E-mail notification not in SOST

Hi all.
We have a workflow task that successfully send an e-mail notification to user with SENDTASKDESCRIPTION from object SELFITEM.
My question why this e-mail doesn't exist in SOST?

In Transaction Code SCOT you will be having that option. You can do one thing as soon as a Notification is generated you can check the SOST Tcode. The entry should be there.

Mail notifications not working correctly on iPhone 5

On my new iPhone 5 I have mail notifications set up as on in the notification center, alert style is banners, badge app icon is on and show preview is on, view in lock screen is off. It is set up the same way as when I had an iPhone 4. However, when I get a new email and the phone's screen is not on, the next time I turn it on I will not get the banner alert, all I see is the badge icon. This is kind of annoying as I would like to see the banner to know who the email is from before going into the mail app.
The notifications for mail on my iPad running iOS 6 just like my iPhone 5 are set up the same way and work correctly.
Why would they not be working correctly on my iPhone 5?

I have tried what you are saying and all the above, I don't think you understand what we are saying is happening to us because you probably never used or use it. We understand that you can see the notification by pulling down the notification tab from the top of the screen but in the past for example on my ipad and iphone 4 it would show you a preview banner of your emails you have received for the day had you not unlocked your phone for any given amount of time and given you did receive any emails the next time you unlocked your phone it would bring up top of the screen a preview of each email you had in your inbox automatically one by one in the banners without having to go to the notification pull down. It is a bug because I guarntee if you turned it on you wouldn't see what were talkin about either and you wouldn't if you've never were setup for that intention either.

Mail notifications not working in Notification Centre iOS5

I am using an iPhone 4 and recently updated to iOS5. Most of my notifications in the new Notification Centre work fine, except my Mail. Whenever I send a test email, it never pops up as a banner at the top of the screen, as it would like an ordinary iMessage. I have turned Mail 'On' in the Notification Centre, and after a couple tests I did get the feature to work, although the mail notification only popped up like 5 minutes after I initially sent it. For the most part, however, if I send a test email, I never receive the pop up notification. The only way I can receive mail is by manually going into the Mail app, as we all did before iOS5.
Please can someone offer some assistance here?

I have a 3GS, and am having the same problem! I updated to iOS5 (with a multitude of other issues), and everything with mail was fine..it was only a couple weeks ago that I noticed I wasn't receiving notification of new emails in any email accounts. You're not alone!

Mail Notifications Not Appearing

I have just noticed that my mail notifications are not appearing on the side. I have double checked that all of the settings are right, but still no joy. Anyone got any ideas.

After upgrading my os to 10.8.3 os x, my mail notification bubbles/alerts / right sie notification menu does not work....this is highly frustrating.

Thanks for replying so quickly pal, but I actually seemed to have solved my own problem.
For anyone who has been having the same issue that I did, follow these steps:
1) go to your 'contacts' app and remove your email address from your own 'card'
(not sure if this is necessary) 2) remove apple id from user & preference profile

Disabling E-mail notifications not working after reboot

Hello. It seems that the mail notification and the mail count still persist even if I have it disabled on the settings after rebooting. I've checked the settings after reboot and it is still set as disabled (after following the guide), but the notifications still appear. Is this an bug on the on the app that needs to be fixed? Or am I missing something? Thanks.

I've had a number of problems with the Playbook not recognising the settings I've chosen. In this case, with disabling email notifications, it resets after each reboot.
I've found that if I go into my the Messages app, and then into Message Settings, it shows that alerts are set to be off (display message count, and display new message indicator). The fix for me is to enable alerts, go back to main app screen, then go back into settings and disable alerts once more. At that point the settings seem to stick. So whenever I reboot the playbook, I just have to do that and notifications will remain off until the next reboot.
Let us know if that works for you too. Maybe it will help the engineers figure out what's wrong.

i have updated my nokia E6 with nokia belle ,i am not getting new email notification on the drop down bar or when my screen is locked,is this feature not present in belle? can someone help me with this?

This is amazing. I bought the E6-00 as my beloved E72 was getting a little old and there is no mail notification by design. On a E-series phone this in unbelievable.
I wrote a complaint about this to nokia and have been contacted by several technician since, some of them confirming that on their Symbian 3 device mail notification (i.e. @ in the notification bar/screensaver) is working. But then also another technician told me there was no such feature on the E72. A lie.
Isn't there a way to force them implement this feature in future firmwares? I didn't even check before, I thought that a self-evident feature on a E-series handset.

Facebook & Mail Notifications Not Working

I recently got an iPhone 6 and for some reason both my Facebook & Mail notifications are not appearing on my lock screen. I have everything turned on in my Notification Center but they are still not appearing on the lock screen. Can someone please help me fix this??

Sorry this is not an Apple issue, but with Viber. I suggest you contact Viber directly, or do a forum search as this has been brought up numerous of time. I believe there also someone from the Viber team who posted in these forum, you should be able to find it in the search.
and when you get a hold of Viber, let them know that ****** you off .

E-mail notifications not showing on lock screen

A few days ago my e-mail notifications stopped showing up on my lock screen and the banners disappeared from when using my iphone too. I've already check the settings in the notification centre and they are set ok, just not working. What do I do?

Try doing a reset on your iPhone,
Reset your iPhone by pressing the 'Sleep' and 'Home' button at the same time for about 15 seconds or so. Your iPhone will then go through a reset / reboot procedure and will be ready for use within about a minute.
Don't worry about doing this as you will not lose data or settings.
Good luck and do report back.

Mail notification not showing up in "Notification Center"

I have few emails configured with Mail but when a new mail arrives it does not show up in the notification center.
The notification center settings for "Mail" is set up as Alerts correctly.
Should I make the "Mail" to start automatically after login??

I am having the exact same problem. I've had a bit of issues setting up my Exchange account and get iCal to work properly, so ended up deleting my Exchange account and setting it up again. Before, emails showed in Notifications, now they don't, even when Mail's up and running. I've got my computer set up to show the last 10 items. I would appreciate any help anyone could proivde.

Mail notification not send

Hi,
I am facing following problem.
I want to have a deadline notification for my decision step. If the user is not executing the decision step within 24h, a mail should be send out the the WF_Initiator.
So I created a deadline monitoring in this step (tab requested end). In the business workplace of the user with the decision step the workitem is marked as 'too late'.
The only problem is, the workflow initiator does not get a mail.

It looks like , the scheduled background job for Deadline Condition evaluation is not configured currectly.
Check in SWU3 -> Maintain Runtime Environment, there will be an entry for 'Scheduled Job for Deadline..', if it not active ( meaning in red color), please correct it by executing this item. However some of these SWU3 - Automatic Workflow Customization, has prerequistes - like User doing this customization should belong to SUPER User group. Check these !!

Batch Process mail notifications not being sent

Racking my brain on this. On our prod 9.3.1 server, we reconfigured the mail server/database. I logged in as the application owner to establish the mail in application settings. Under workspace/administer/notifications I am able to successfully send a test email.
The emails are not being sent for any of our workspace reporting batch processes. What log would be associated with this for further review?

FR_GLOBAL_PROPERTIES didn't have the smtp server populated..once populated and then the scheduler service restarted the emails are working..

Mail Notifications not working

Hi, just got a new Ipad Air and i'm having some issues with it.
My Mail App gives no warning that I have recieved a new email, this happens with the Ipad in sleep or Locked mode as well as when it's being used. I simply don't recieve email notificaton.
I dont recieve notifications that there are new emails, expect when I open the Mail App, then it "refreshes" and acknowledges that I have new emails.
The Mail App is "Included" in the Menu of the Notification Center, Alert Styles is selected to Banners, Show on Lock screen is also selected.
In the Mail, Contacts, Calenders Menu, Fetc New data has been selected and the gmail account has been selected to Fetch.
Why am I not receiving email notifications when the ipad is on?

Make sure sound is not muted (tap to enlarge image). Also increase volume in Settings>Sounds
