E-mail of apple hard to find......
Does anyone know what the E-mail of Apple is for posting a malfunctioning of the Powermac?
Very weird that on all those Apple-sites I could find not one E-mail adress ...................

Apple makes nice computer and OS, but the way they produce and their sevice is lousy.
Their hardware is sometimes "over the top" produced, not develloped enough, not tested enough.They rather devellope a new computer then develloping the existing computers for which they have after less then 1,5 year no feedback-possibillity.................In that time they produced two others!!!And leave their buyers in the cold.
Someone at the resellers here told me he thinks Apple just want people to buy new computer as quick as possible.
And....it certainly looks like that!!!

New to Apple and it is so hard to find anything etc Nothing as easy as XP
Hi everyone I have just got the laptop thought I would go for the best. All the hype is just not living up to it everything you do is twice as long as on XP. Finding folders, finding where your downloads have gone when you do find it and install it you cannot find where it has gone. Putting Icons on your folders is just a nightmare so long winded. I can see why people are not buying apple it is just so difficult to find things. I dare say I will get used to it but the help is pretty awful as well. I am seriously thinking of selling it as it is unfriendly so I cannot understand the hype.
I downloaded an icon set when eventually I found them on the apple site again they are ridiculously hard to find on the site. I downloaded a screen saver the anemone but cannot find where it goes to. I found it in the download folder and installed it assuming it goes to the screensavers but no. So where has it gone? Hunting for system folders again cannot find them. I see apple is so different to XP cannot find any folders so I assume they do not exist. I am very disappointed with apple I think one needs to come straight in to apple computers and not touch windows as it just does not help when one changes to apple.
But if anyone can help me to find where the anemone screensaver would of gone too please do? End of rant and I am trying to persevere but I am so unimpressed so far. I need converting.A couple of points..
1) downloads - go to your home folder, look in "Downloads"
2) System Folders - don't worry about them. As a newcomer to mac, there's almost nothing in there you can tinker with. Even the most die-hard mac users rarely have need to delve around in there.
3) Finding things?
"Spotlight" at top right is an immensely powerful search system. The magnifying glass.
Try the sidebar "Search for" options too.
4) How things work... just try dragging and dropping them. Unlike Windows, try to get away from the mindset of "I need to use this program to do this to that file" - think more like "what would be neat is if I simply clicked this and it worked..." think in terms of tasks, not programs.
5) Icons - highlight the icon you want to copy. Get-Info (apple-I) click on the icon itself, Copy (apple-C) Highlight the file/folder you want to change the icon on. Get-info, Click on the icon, Paste (apple-V) (much more work to write down than to actually do!)
For example your screen saver.
Download it.
Double click on it.
It should (assuming its a mac screensaver open your screen saver utility (in System preferences) and allow you to configure it. No installing, no system folder...
Cant find it? Use Spotlight to search for "anemone" - or perhaps 'anemona'
Or in Safari, in Windows->Downloads (the download manager) theres a little mag glass that means "show in Finder" click on that.
If you have a local apple store, stop by one day, and chat with one of their staff. Smart folks who are always ready to help. -
How do I remove Apple Mail from my hard drive? Over 10,000 downloaded into my mail and continues to freeze up--- I just want to use my gmail account directly
I go to Gmail to do my email yes, in my browser, but ya know how sometimes you click on a website to email someone and it pulls up apple mail, and then tons of email dump into apple mail and it frequently causes my computer to lock up and have to shut down w/escape. I thought it would be better to take it off if I could

Just being able to view billing history on my iPhone is hard to find. Is this apple making it hard for their customers ?
At the moment you can only view your purchase history on a computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you stores on iOS devices don't have all the features/functions as you find on a computer's iTunes

fI have Aperture cd from Apple Store.Due to some reason I have toformat my hard disk.Unfortunately I have lost Aperture cover and bill from Apple.How to find serial no. of Aperture ?
Is it installed on an other system? If so you can see the serial number in the About Aperture window.
If not ant you wiped your disk and Aperture is no longer installed there is no way to find the serial number apart from the hard copy you had when you bought it.
See Pro Application Replacement Serial Numbers and give Apple a call. They are pretty good at working with you to try and recover the serial number. -

No app on the iOS device is required.
- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod/iPhone/iPad on the iOS device in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected or cellular data is on and connected for, on a computer browser go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up or continue to show off-line.
- You can also wipe/erase the iOS device and have the device play a sound via iCloud.

- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the device and report to police and carrier if iPhone or cellular iPad
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the erase (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 or later on the device. With iOS 7 or later, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.

E-mails from Apple Support Communities
My mailbox gets completely stuffed with e-mails from Apple Support Communities. Therefore, I want to be removed from the mailing list, but I don not find anywhere the way to realize that. Anyone familiar with the solution of this problem?
Were you ever able to stop that flood Brouwerkj? If so please tell me how because my mailbox is flooded by hundreds of messages per hour even if I cancelled all notification on my profile.

Cannot receive verification e-mail for apple ID

I just purchased an iphone. While trying to install new apps, i figured out that i need an apple ID. So I made one through itunes as suggested by the manuals. All seemed to be working fine, up to the point of receiving the verification email. I put the email address I click to send me the email but no mail is delivered. I changed the email address and the same. No mail delivered. I checked the spam, no mail delivered. And I cannot verify my account and I cannot install apps and this is sad for a purchase like this. I also tried to find emails for support but nothing. Can anyone help me? Can anyone tell me what to do or provide me with a mail from apple support to ask them? If someone from the tech support is reading this please assist me. Thank youI am having the same problem. I used the online chat option with Apple Support, and they rectified the issue from their side.

I had trouble with my pop server as they had changed settings. I could not send mail using mail 6.2. When I deleted old pop account in mail preferences and set up new pop account I lost all old mail incoming, sent and trash....I know its in library/mail/v2 but I cannot work out how to tell mail 6.2 where to find it. Help please?

Hello all, I bouhgt a TV serial using my apple tv2 and my Apple ID information: all good. But then I got an e-mail from Apple saying that an "unknown" user downloaded content using my apple ID. Nobody stoled anything. How do I get my particular apple TV2 to recognize my apple ID account so it knows it is me who is buying. Thank you so much.

Thank you so, so much for this answer. I did go into my Apple ID account through iTunes store and associated my devices to my Apple ID account. I did this by working on my computers (a mac mini and a mac air) and my two devices (iPhone and iPad). Thus there is a statemente saying "4 devices are associated with this apple ID and can download your purchases from iTunes in the iCloud". So whenever I use them to purchase anything, iCloud knows it is me through my devices so I do not get no e-mail warming me my account might be being used by a stranger.
So, how do I associate my apple Tv2 to my apple ID account? I went to its settings and could not find any way of doing it. Can you continue helpling me? Please.

Why are support phone #'s so DANG HARD TO FIND!!
Just spent $400 on ipod and haven't heard a thing. Wasted HOURS of time trying to get songs onto ipod and trying to find support phone number! WHY DOES APPLIE MAKE THE PHONE NUMBER SO HARD TO FIND! I'M READY TO PACK IT UP, SEND IT BACK AND DEMAND A REFUND!

How come it's so hard to find my lost iPhone on my android phone
Im having such a hard time finding my iPhone on my android device it's showing me the lication but uts a wrong location and my iphobe is completely dead any suggestions.
Are you trying to locate it on icloud.com? If so, try from a computer. Of course, if your phone has no battery power it will be listed as offline, and the location shown (if any) could be as much as 24 hours old.
