E mail pictures

I have Photoshop elements 7 - I want to e mail pictures and
do not use Microsoft Outlook. I assume I have to export the
pictures (did this in Picasa-it was so easy) but under the SHARE section
and e mail in Photoshop, I could not figure out how to e mail using my Gmail e mail. Thanks for any help!!

I understand your confusion. In my opinion, Adobe is now making it more difficult that necessary to send photos using a Web based email.
Look at the File > Export as New File
function. And also look up that function in the Help. You can use it to resize and make copies of your photo files smaller for emai: then save its output to a folder of your choice.
When you are using gmail, attach the photo file to your email by pointing within the folder where you saved the output of that Export command.

Nope. Manual sorting in events is not (and has not been) a feature of iPhoto. You do manual sorting in albums (recommended) or photos vies with event titles off

Unable to e-mail pictures with PSE 3.0.1.

I am using PSE 3.0.1. I am unable to e-mail pictures and keep getting an error message that says that some add-in program could not be installed. What is the problem? I have windows Vista.

Hmm, might be an issue with the MAPI. Windows has two versions the normal version and a simple version. Outlook Express requires the simple MAPI to communicate between express and any app that send email attachments.
Can you send from explorer? Find the image in explorer and right click on it then send to email. Lets us know if that works.
We maybe getting into operating system issues, which would be better suited on the microsoft forums. It is still possible someone may know of an issue with elements sending to express though.

I can"t e-mail pictures with elements 11 but could with elements 9.

since I installed elements 11 I can't e-mail pictures I could with elements 9 I get a message that says it can't be sent and the hour glass won't leave so I have to reboot

Can't E-Mail Pictures

We are not able to send pictures via e-mail. Each time we try, through our home gmail account or through our remote work outlook accounts, the message just sits forever with the message "still working."
This is driving my wife crazy. Can anyone help?

That's one of the reasons that it is always a good idea to take advantage of the thirty day free trials Adobe offer. It lets you evaluate both the product and how it will perform on your own equipment.
If you've already purchased it then you may, depending on where you bought it, be able to get a refund with their thirty day 'no reason required' returns policy.

Mailing pictures

I have a new ibook on which I store photos in IPhoto. I am interested in e-mailing pictures from IPhoto using my primary e-mail account, which is Hotmail, without having the pictures be enormous in size. Any suggestions how to attach them to a Hotmail e-mail account to send in an appropriately small size? Thanks.

Are you accessing your Hotmail account with the Mail.app?
If so, Tiger Mail includes an Image Size selection at the bottom right of the message window after photos are attached to a message.
Choices are:
Actual Size (default)
Small
Medium
Large
There is usually not much if any difference between Actual Size and Large but selecting Medium or Small reduces the size of attached photos significantly.
If you are wanting to do so from iPhoto with your Hotmail account via webmail access with a browser, I don't believe this is possible since you can select a default email client only with iPhoto.

Anytime random strange behaviors creep in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
If that does not fix it, then please return to these forums (http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/) and register an account so that we can provide you with direct assistance.

My itouch no longer receives or sends emails but I can mail pictures...???

I installed a square on my touch to use at fairs.
They told me to load ios6 which I did/
Now I can't receive or send emails, but I can mail pictures.
I really need to do emails on the touch.

How many different email account do you have on the iPod? It sounds like the default account works (that is used to send photos)

Aol mail picture

I use both aol and gmail on my first generation iPad. Everything works great. Suddenly, my aol mail picture changed to an unknown person's picture. My gmail pic is fine on my iPad. When I use aol mail on my iPhone5, my picture is fine.
I ran some tests to isolate the problem. When I send an email on my iPad using aol to myself, it has the wrong pic when I view it on my iPad, but the correct pic on my iPhone5. Same thing happens when I email myself from my iPhone. Pic is good on iPhone and wrong on iPad.
Is there a setting on my iPad that I need to fix?

AOL is a problem. Attaching the way that you described will still have problems. Instead...
Choose the photos that you wish to email and "Export" them to the desktop, choosing a size that you believe to be appropriate. Then, for each one, while holding down the "Control" key click and select "Archive." That will "Zip" the file for you. Attach the Zipped file the old fashioned way. When finished, you can delete these files from the desktop.
Actually, I think that you can put multiple photos into a folder and then Zip the entire folder. I never tried it myself.

I hate iPhoto '11 when I need to mail pictures

I always need to send many photos to other people, with iPhoto 10, it is very easy and simple. I can see how many MBs would be before I send them, and I can choose the size of the photo. I love it. It is easy than in windows.
While in iPhoto '11, I can only send 10 pictures a time! why? this is not on iPad, My mac can handling this.
With iPhoto 10, I can edit the mail with pictures, with iPhoto 11 I can't do that. I can only edit the title and with “Insert your message here”, they even limit the characters! Oh! what are you doing?
Well, finally I have send the pictures. then I can see my client online and told me: "hey, I got your photos, with the 3rd and 4th picture............."
OK, let me check it out. but wait, where is the mail I sent just now? not in Mail Sent Box, not in iPhoto, I can't find it. it disappeared. I can't remember which picture is the "3rd and 4th", Should I ask my client to send the email back to me? what a joke!
So, what I am doing is: export the photos to a temp folder (original pictures are too big), copy to Mail, send, delete the temp folder. like what I did in windows.
Is there anyway I can get back to iPhoto '10?

If you don't like the new ways that iPhoto handles emailing then you can access the old way with a small change in how you work:
1. Drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Mail icon in the Dock.
or
2. Use the Photo browser in Mail - or any Media browser in the entire OS

This doesn't sound like a Photoshop issue, but an email problem. However, if you give us a more detailed explanation of what you're experiencing, we might be able to help if it is in fact a Photoshop issue.

E-mailing pictures and videos

Sending photos from my IPhone 4S to different e-mails in my contact list. The pics and videos are always are delivered sideways or upside down. Anyway to prevent that?

The best way to move all your pictures and images on your BB is to move them. Do you have a Media Card on the device?

Problem e-mailing pictures

I use Internet Explorer 8, as supplied by BT Yahoo. Whenever I e-mail a picture in jpeg format as an attachment the software has started reducing the file size to the point that the recipient finds it unsuitable for publication. Anyone out there got a solution, please?

Hi. Welcome to the forums.
It sounds like you've possibly got the "Photo Size" as Reduced. If there a link on the bar above the attachments list towards the right ?
This can be clicked and you should have an option Don't Resize. This will slow down the display somewhat as the file is "uploaded". You should see a blue progress bar increase across the picture as it's uploaded.
