E-mailing my photos from Adobe Photoshop

Please someone explain to me how to attach my photos to an e-mail!

Note that the email system is not designed for large attachments; most email providers limit attachments to 1GB~4GB 1MB~4MB.
Much better upload your files to a file sharing site (SendNow, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc), or use a photo sharing service like Picasa / Picasaweb.

  • Import photos from adobe photoshop elements (win) to Iphoto 08

    Hi,
I just got an imac and I want to import my old photos and adobe photoshop element tags from my windows machine. I want to keep the tags the same. Does any one have any suggestions?
    -D

Yes, use File>Write tags and properties to file and Elements should pick up the metadata keywords this creates. However, if you have raw files or tiffs from an epson scanner, the metadata creation can be unreliable.

  • Migrating photos from Adobe Photoshop Album to Aperture

A while ago I posted to see if anyone had done this but got no replies. I have now managed to migrate my photos and most importantly kept the tags.
The first issue was that Adobe Photoshop Album kept its tags in an inaccesible proprietary database. This was resolved by downloading a 30 day trial version of Photoshop Elements 5 (PC). It appears that Adobe have actually built Photoshop Album in to Photoshop Elements (without telling any of us paid up Album users!). It is all there in PE5. What PE5 adds is an entry in 'File' menu called 'Write Tag and Properties Info to Photos'.
This 'writing' puts the tag information into the keyword IPTC field within the picture file itself.
It was then a simple case of making a backup from the file menu and backing up the whole library on to DVD(s).
In aperture simply Import images from the file menu, select the DVD and all the images are imported - tags and all.
The only one gripe about this process is that PE5 randomly misses out adding tag information to the files. There doesn't appear to be any logic to which files had no keyword information added at all. However, this is a better option than having to re-keyword everything again.
I hope this help some of you.

Just to point out that this will not work for raw files, since Adobe for some reason decided against using XMP sidecar files for the organizer, the way they do for PE/mac, bridge, etc.

  • How do i retrieve photos from Adobe photoshop album starter edition?

Hi, Im am trying to migrate photos from a locked version of Adobe Photoshop Album starter Edition to Adobe Photoshop Elements 11, I have tried Windows Explorer search with no luck, and despite being able to see the file names in the Starter Edition before the register page covers it. Even though I would have followed the default path I can't seem to get past the "Application data" part of the path as this is missing from my selections, any further suggestions? kind regards Penny0208

Thanks Pat, I've tried that to no success (quite a few different ways) even though I can see the file name in the page before the registration page covers it, and the *.jpg brings up over 32000 files, the problem here is that some images I know are also duplicated in the "my digital photos" file but how do I know if they are all there? there are over 4700 photos in the Album starter catalogue. The frustrating thing is I know they are somewhere perhaps safely in the "My digital photos" but what is making me wonder is my new Photoshop Elements 11 keeps reminding me of missing files??

  • Cannot sync photos from Adobe Photoshop Album anymore

    Dear Everybody,
I recently upgraded my computer and had to reinstall it altogether. I ended up with the foloowing configuration:
    WinXP pro SP2
    iTunes 7.2.0.35
    Quicktime 7.1.6
    Adobe Photoshop Album 3.2
As you may have guessed, I use Photoshop Album to organize my digital photos and up to now I was able to sync specific collections with my iPod. Unfortunately this is not the case since I upgraded, after iTunes complained that it could not find my photo software.
I tried reinstalling everything and restoring my iPod without success, now I am desperate for help!
Does anyone have a similar experience or even better, a solution??
    Many thanks in advance,

  • Unable to print a photo from Adobe Photoshop elements 9.

When I press print from the Photoshop print set-up window,  all I get is the HP fax set-up window.
I've unplugged the printer, removed the HP printer program and reinstalled it and all I still get is the fax setup window.  I've also used HP's downloadable Problem solver - to no avail.
The printer is a HP photosmart Premium C410a, All-in-one.
    I use windows 7 64 bit.

    Hi Apachegeorge,
I see that you're having problems when printing from Adobe.  I would make sure that your printer is selected as the default printer to do that follow the steps below.
Open Devices and Printers by clicking the Start button , and then, on the Start menu, clicking Devices and Printers.
Right-click the printer you want to use, and then click Set as default printer. (You'll see a check mark on the printer's icon signifying that it's now your default printer.)

  • Moving photos from Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition it is locked.

I am just wanting to get my photos off of  Adobe photoshop Album Starter Edition.  Just set up my computer and it is asking for a code I do not have.  Anyone have any suggestions.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
Your photos aren't actually in the Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 program, but on your hard drive, most likely in one of the
following locations listed in this document under:
Where are the photos that I imported into Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition?

I have all my family photos for at least the last 6 years on Adobe Album Starter Edition 3.2. I cannot access them because it says a need a code to open them and I don't have that; they are no longer supporting that, so how the heck do I access all my photos?????

  • Syncing Photos with Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0

I have an iphone and a 160GB iPod classic. I have been syncing my photos from Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 to these devices. However, I recently upgraded to version 7 of Elements. I kept version 6 on my computer as well in case I needed to go back to it. So, my photo catalog for v7 is a different name. My question is how I point my iphone and ipod to sync with the new catalog and not the old one. And, does syncing photos between iTune and Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 even work yet?
    Thanks!

My question is how I point my iphone and ipod to sync with the new catalog and not the old one.
This is selected under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences, and the same for your iPod sync preferences.
Syncing with Elements 7 should work.

  • E-Mailing small photos from iPhoto '09

E-Mailing small photos from iPhoto ‘09
    Hi:
We used to have a great way of e-mailing photos from iPhoto: specifically, we just clicked the Entourage e-mail icon at the bottom of the iPhoto window, chose the size of the photos we wished to send (ie, one was given options for how much one wished to reduce the size of the photos), and it was done.
Now that we’ve upgraded to Outlook 2011 we seem to have lost this functionality.
I tried to choose Outlook 2011 as our default e-mail program under iPhoto>Preferences>”Email photos using :” but the only 4 options are AOL,Eudora, Mail, and Entourage. Interestingly, the icon used here is Outlook 2011, not Entourage (yellow, not purple), but it still says “Microsoft Entourage” next to the yellow icon, and the mail icon at the bottom of the main iPhoto window is still the purple Entourage icon (and if one clicks it, it tries to open Entourage).
I then went into Apple’s Mail program under Preferences, and made sure that the “Default email reader” option was set to Microsoft Outlook 14.1.4 (which it was), but iPhoto still uses Entourage.
I searched the web and found a tip saying that one can drag photos from iPhoto over the Outlook icon in the dock to mail photos. I was thrilled to see that this worked, only to realize that it sends full size photos, without the downsizing option discussed above.
I thought about upgrading iPhoto to the ’11 version, but a plethora of the online reviews were less than laudatory about the stability of iPhoto '11, so decided to stay with ’09.
Thus, does anyone have suggestions for easily sending reduced size photos from iPhoto using Outlook 2011? I realize that I can transfer the photos from iPhoto to my desktop, open Adobe Photoshop, manually downsize each photo, close Photoshop, and then send the reduced size photos, but I would love to find a much more intuitive and quick method, similar to what we had with iPhoto and Entourage.
    Thank you very much!!!
    iPhoto ’09 8.1.2 (4124)
    OS 10.6.8
    Outlook: Mac 2011 v 14.1.4

I realize that I can transfer the photos from iPhoto to my desktop, open Adobe Photoshop, manually downsize each photo, close Photoshop, and then send the reduced size photos,
No you don't need to do that. Just use the Export dialogue in iPhoto to reduce the quality - it's exactly the same as the one used when sending to a mail app.
As for the comments about iPhoto 11 - search and you'll find pretty much the same ones about iphoto 09, 08, 6, 5 etc

  • Transfer from Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 on Windows XP to Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 on the Mac.

I want to transfer from Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 on Windows XP to Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 on the Mac. My problem is I have lost my catalog and Windows XP.  I need help.
I have installed the newest Mac version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 (PSE 12 Mac) and it seems to work fine but I have not been able to access my old (XP, PSE6) catalog file.
I am working on a MacBook Air running OSX version 10.9.2.  I have been using Parallels Desktop 9 Switch-to-Mac-Edition™ to run Windows virtual machines.  I had been working for over a year running Photoshop Elements 6 on Windows XP virtual machine.  The XP operating system was updated to 2/28/14.
When I installed Windows 8, the Parallels program initially offered me a choice of virtual machines, Window XP or Windows 8.  I could use the XP version to work with Photoshop Elements 6 as before and thought I could be leisurely about transferring my Photoshop operations to the Mac side.
However, without my knowingly doing anything to dispose of Windows XP, I have “lost” Windows XP.  Perhaps it occurred when I updated to Windows 8.1.  At any rate, now I have access only to Windows 8.1.
To compound the problem the Time Machine backup program for the Mac was not backing up the XP virtual machine files as I had thought.   I have since corrected the settings but I do not have a copy of Windows XP nor of the Adobe Photoshop Elements catalog which I used in the past.
Moreover, I do not have a workable Windows XP disk; the only one I could find is from Dell and it does not load on my MacBook Air.  I see Windows XP disks offered by Amazon for about $30 and have thought about buying a copy to help see if I could  accomplish the transfer of the catalog file to my Mac.  I would use XP only to accomplish this transfer.
I am not completely confident that reinstalling Windows XP would actually enable me to do the transfer and I can foresee potential big problems. Therefore, before taking that step I thought that I would check with you to see if there is a way to find the catalog file and perhaps to modify it so that I could work in the Mac Environment.
I have used Elements to improve and organize over a thousand travel and family photos taken with a pocket size digital camera.  Being a nonprofessional, I have edited mainly by cropping and using Quick Fix but have many hours invested.  Yes,  I still have the originals and probably could have redone much of that work with the time I have invested in trying to find the missing XP and catalog.
I have found two large HDS files (Windows XP.hdd and Windows XP (2).hdd) that were created 7/15/12.  I suspect they may be important but am not sure what they are.   I read that HDS files are commonly Windows media digital rights management files, DRMs.   HDS files may also be used by hierarchical data systems.  Do the names suggest anything about Photoshop?
Can you help me find the catalog and transfer it for use with the Mac Adobe Photoshop Elements 12?

  • Trouble converting a catalog from Adobe Photoshop Album into Elements 9

I have looked all over and found instructions for converting a catalog from Adobe Photoshop Album into Photoshop Elements 9, but it does not see my catalog?  I have tried selecting it by clicking "Find More Catalogs" and I select the folder containing the catalog but it does not show up and the option to "Show Previously Converted Catalogs" is disabled?  I am quite frustrated, as the entire reason for purchasing Adobe Photoshop Elements was to be able to import my old Photoshop Album catalog.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the suggestion, I have tried converting the catalog from the psa file as well as restoring from the psb (backup) file and neither one is working on my new computer.  It partially converts the catalog from Photoshop Album (PSA) 2 but then all the file links are broken in Photoshop Elements (PSE) 9.  I have about 10,000 photos in this catalog, so it is a lot of files.  I still have my old computer so I tried installing PSE 9 on it and then it converted the PSA catalog fine, so I backup up the PSE 9 catalog on my old computer and tried doing a restore from this backup on my new computer and same thing, only some of the files come through.

    Yes, it is.
The easiest way for me is access the custom shape tool,  and within that the Symbols library. You will find the copy right sign. Just drag it out. It will be on its own layer. Enter the rest of the info with the Type tool.
The symbol can also be found in the character map on a Windows system.
If you have multiple photos that you wish to mark, it is very efficient to make a copyright brush and apply  with a  click of the mouse.
