E-Mails deleted automatically

Hi,
My mail program continues to keep copies of my e-mails on the server, even though I have tried to set it not to.
What is worse, after a short period of time, and when new e-mals arrive, the old ones simply disappear from my inbox. From my testing, I have found that if I go on to the web and delete the e-mails manually, they will also disappear from my inbox. Furthermore, without the possibility of restoring them.
This is obviously creating havoc with my work. Can anyone help?
Many thanks
Kind regards,
gramario

What email provider are you using? It's probably set up as a POP3 account instead of IMAP. Contact your email provider for more information.

  • C5 messages deleted automatically.

I'm very disappointed to see that all the messages in my memory card (Inbox, My Folders, Drafts, Sent Mails) deleted automatically except the Templates. It is not deleted by me or any other person.
Please, inform is there any option to get back all those messages.
One more thing, in Nokia C5 there is no option to mute the sound of the camera. Nokia R&D team please check this and try to resolve in the next version of symbian.

  • When I delete an e-mail, it automatically puts another e-mail in my inbox which says "no sender".  What am I doing wrong and how to get all these off my I-Pad?

When I delete an e-mail, it automatically puts another e-mail in my inbox which reads "No Sender", thus I have numerous e-mails that have not really been deleted.  How can I delete all these e-mails and how to correct the issue of deleting e-mails?

Here is one way of doing it. Left click on picture, list opens click on save as. In next window box apears save as type PNG(*.png). Then go to my pictures and print picture from there. I am not sure what print target is? That is in the list also. That may be how it is directly printed. Never used that short cut. Try it and see. I know for sure saving it to file works.

  • Mail in inbox is deleted automatically all the time

Hi I have a lion Server installed.
Now I have restored a backup for my mail but have a problem with the mail of one of my users.
For the other users mail is working fine.
The problem is that mail recieved in the inbox is deleted automatically.
It is very strange, but when I look in my inbox, and sent a mail from Gmail, I recieve the mail, and see it in my inbox for a few seconds, but then if I refresh it is gone.
I dont have this problem with other directories in mij mail (or roundcube) app.
Other account also dont have this problem.
Does anybody know how to fix this, or how to track why my server is deleting the mail?
    Kind regards,
    Flip

Ok, I did find the problem.
It was because I had set this mailbox as ical mailbox.
    Hello,
I had the same problem and i think u've done the same mistake like me by enabling the 'invite by mail' option in iCal services from the App Server.
By unchecking this; dovecot will not be spammed again via iCal service and you will see your new incoming emails not deleted after that.

  • If i delete mail in G-mail than automatically delete in Thunderbird, How can I prevent from this there is any solution to remain mail in thunderbird?

If i delete mail in G-mail than automatically delete in Thunderbird, How can I prevent from this there is any solution to remain mail in thunderbird?

If you have a gmail IMAP mail account, you need to understand tht you are remotely viewing the server folders, so basically the folders you see in Thunderbird are the same folders you see when you use webmail - (logon to google account via browser).
If you want to delete emails off the server, but keep those specific emails accessible in Thunderbird, then you need to move/copy them from the Thunderbird IMAP gmail mail account and store them in Local Folders account in suitably created folders before you delete them from the IMAP mail account.

    No.

  • RE: Automatic E-mail Deletion

My boss' BB right now has a few settings I need to change, and I couldn't find a clear answer in the pdf I was reading - maybe I was looking in the wrong place.
    The BB needs to:
    - Delete e-mails from the BB every week
    - Not delete e-mails from her Outlook at the same time they're deleted (automatically or manually)
The first one is just an option you access in "Message List > Menu" right? I can't find the information on the second part, though. It has something to do with the sync settings?

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Look at Messages > Options > Email Reconciliaton > and set your deletes to DELETE on Prompt, Handheld ONLY or Mailbox and Handheld.

  • When I delete domething on Mac Mail it automatically deletes it on my Yahoo server.  Why and how can I get it left on the server?

When I delete something on Mac Mail it automatically is deleted on the Yahoo server.  Why and how can I stop this happening and leave it on the server?

I believe that that is how IMAP accounts are designed to work, if you delete an email from a computer or device then it will be deleted from the server. If possible you could try setting up the account as a POP account in the Mail program and you should then get a 'remove copy from server' tickbox (which will need to be unticked) on the account's Advanced tab in Mail > Preferences.
I've asked for this post to be moved to the Mountain Lion forum, this is the iPad forum.

  • Are iPad2 iOS 6 Mail Sent emails deleted automatically???

My wife sent an important email reply to her brother on her iPad2 less than 2 weeks ago; she left it in the Sent mailbox, but now it is gone!  Has it been deleted automatically?  Is it something new with iOS 6?  (We use POP email accounts.)

I have the same issue. I cannot read Texts sent to my e-mail account from my family's iPhone 4s/5 iOS 6 Verizon devices when using my Samsung Galaxy SIII (also Verizon).  I need to access the iOS 6 device originated e-mails on my laptop in order to read the text_0.txt attachments.
    Does anyone have a solution?

  • Mail will only keep about 4 days of Mail then automatically deletes it

My Mac Mail will only keep about 4 days of Mail then automatically deletes it.
Im using iMap from a local ISP. There should be noquota on amount of mail.
I cant seem to find if there is a option for this....
    Any ideas?? Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the Discussions.
There is no option in Mail to account for this, as described. Do you access this IMAP account from more than one computer or device? Do you have any Rules in operation?

  • HT4528 old text messages are being deleted automatically

my old text messages are being deleted automatically but this seems to only happen with one contact. Has anyone experienced/fixed this?

If you had pop and now want to use imap you need to create another (new) email account in Mail.
When you start creating a new account, press the option key when you click the Continue button and you will be given the choice of creating the account for pop or imap.

Email = [e-mail removed for privacy and security]

Sounds very simular to my experience starting yesterday.
    Windows version 7 pro.
    Skype version 7.4.64.102.
After a Windows update and reboot yesterday, I found my contact list is blank. I always keep the setting to show ALL contacts. After some quick investigations I have found:
If I change this setting to show skype contacts, the screen is blank
If I change this setting to show all contacts, the screen is blank
I am still getting notifications someone came online, although I cannot see them in the contact list since it is blank.
I can go to the recent contacts and the screen will populate
I can change the contacts to only show online and the screen will populate.
Signing out and signing back in, doesn't change anything.
Rebooting the computer doesn't change anything.

When i connecting to vpn all newly added contacts deleted automatically.
What must i do to prevent such things ??

so i could have my HOA contacts in a group
NEVER give your HOA your e-mail, or your phone number, (or your street address).
Well, I guess they've already got your street address.

  • Outbound parameters HRMD_A is deleted automatically

    Hi
In we20 transaction, the outbound parameters HRMD_A is deleted automatically.  How to check if any background job or process is deleting this?  I am assuming zero user activity around this.

    Bon courage
