E-Recruiting: ALE Status 51 Posting Error - "Password is not long enough"

Hi experts!
We are having problems occationally posting idocs in our nightly ALE transfer from SAP to E-Recruiting.  The error for the segment with a status 51 is "Password is not long enough (minimum length: 6 characters)".  The system is trying to post IT0105 Sty 1.
This only seems to happen when either a new user is created in our SAP system.  We are running SAP ECC 6.0 and E-Recruiting 6.0 sp10.  In both systems you are required to have a password length of at least six characters.
Users in our SAP system are needed in E-Recruiting for the purpose of identifying internal candidates.
If both systems currently require that you have a password length of at least six characters, why would we recieve this error message when attempting to post idocs?
The concern here, obviously, is that if one segment fails to post in the idoc, the entire idoc fails to post.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Ryan

Hello,
We are still having a problem with failing iDocs everytime we pass over IT0105 Sty 1 records from our SAP system to E-Recruiting.
Would anyone happen to know where I should start looking to troubleshoot this error message?
"Password is not long enough (minimum length: 6 characters)"
Currently both systems require that your password be at least 6 characters long, which makes this message even more perplexing.
Having a better understanding of how RBDAPP01 processes inbound IDOCS in status 64 would help.  We are using message type HRMD_ABA.  Our data filter looks like....
Infotype: 1000
Object Type: C, O, S
Infotype: 1001
Object Type: C, O, S
Subtypes: A002, A007, A008, A012, B002, B007, B008, B012
Infotype: 1001
Object Type: O, S
Subtypes: A003, B003
Infotypes: 0000, 0001, 0002
Object Type: P
Infotype: 0006
Object Type: P
Subtype: 1
Infotype: 0105
Object Type: P
Subtypes: 0001, 0010
So the question is how is IT0105 Sty 1 being processed when RBDAPP01 runs?
Thank you for your help!
Ryan

    To fix Home folder permissions
Open the Terminal application in the Utilities folder.  At the command line prompt enter or paste the following command line:
    sudo chown -R `id -un`:`id -gn` ~
Press RETURN.  You will be prompted to enter your admin password which will not be echoed.

  • While trying to copy files using home sharing, get the error you do not have enough access privileges

I'm trying to use "Home Sharing" feature in iTunes to import files from another user on the same iMac.  We have 5 users and one user is unable to import files from other users.  We get the error "You do not have enough access privileges to perform this operation."  All users are logged in using the same Apple ID and everyone else can import files.  What gives?

Had the same thing happen to me a few weeks back when I switched computers and migrated.  Here's what worked on my iMac, so maybe it'll work on your iPad, too.  Go to User(your home folder)/Music.  Select/highlight your "Music" folder.  Then do Command-I ("Get Info" from the File menu), click on the padlock icon in the lower right of the new window.  Enter your user password.  Click on your username just above the now-open padlock.  Select "Read & Write" if it's on "Read Only," "Write Only," or "No Access."  Now having your user account with "Read & Write" privileges (it may have been this way already; still do this next step), click on the gear on the bottom-center of that window.  Click on "Apply to all enclosed items."  When the pop-up says "Are you sure?" (or the equivalent), say "yes."  This will grant access privileges to your user account for all the music files inside your music folder--all your iTunes stuff included).  Then you should be good to go.

What does the message ERROR: You do not have enough privileges to add this item specifically indicate when the user is

    Hi,
I've checked your site users and it show each having full administrative permissions.
Unfortunately I'm not sure why this error would prompt otherwise.  Please reach our direct chat support to help investigate this further if the error continues.
    Kind regards,

    I got it out!
    Here is how.
None of the Apple-suggested ways worked. However, before totally giving up I started Roxio Popcorn and pressed the big eject button on it. It came out effortlessly!
    So, I thought "Weird..."
I put the CD back in and reproduced my original problem. I got it out just as easily using Roxio Popcorn Eject feature.
So, I then thought "Maybe it is the disk?" There is nothing wrong with the disk as far as I can tell. It is perfectly round, has a smooth label-side surface. It is not even a label, it is a standard software install disk you buy in stores.
I inserted a different disk. The mini mounted it, I browsed it, and then ejected it by dragging it to trash. Worked fine.
I tried a few other disks.
The drive seems to work fine.
Maybe that CD is cursed, I dunno. I tried that disk in my PowerBook and it works fine there.
    Who knows ?
I am still backing up my hard drive as I type this message in case I need to take it to the store.

  • ERROR You do not have enough access privileges / Music Folder Permissions

OS...W XP iTunes 7.6.2.9 HP. Classic 60 GB HP iPod. I have this error when I try to import some CD's. Am trying to import a brand new cd I just bought and error reads...
*"Error occured while converting the file "Large Time" ( or whatever the 1st songs name may be). You do not have enough ACCESS PRIVILEGES for this operation.*
iTunes could not save your music folder because you do not have write access. Check permissions on your Music folder and folders in your Music Folder, then try converting this file again".
Well I've tried every way I can think to check the permissions and am clueless. I do know that after going through my pc settings for folders, that after some time, I was able to save the last playlist and sync it. I've no idea why, but I do know I have this problem frequently. And it's BAaaaack.
If you find or have the answer please post...ty. MP3 players seem more user friendly, using WMP, but this iPod was more for the money.

  • On demand error - box does not have enough credit

For the duration of the day I cannot watch free on demand programs. For example, when I attempt to play an NBC show it states that that my box does not have enough credit and to call customer service. I am calling the The number given and entering the code 8362 as given in the error message. The line rings and then disconnects. I tried calling the customer svc nbr specified in the customer svc screen from the menu option. It rings and then just disconnects. Very disappointed that a company like Verizon does not have the methods or technology to accept inbound calls to their customer service centers. I am posting here in hopes of obtaining some support from verizon since I cannot obtain support by calling.

This seemed to have done the trick. What do you know.....I am watching the movie that shut down when this all started. Good Luck!"
worked for me hope it works for you

  • Sync Error "You do not have enough access privleges for this operation"

    After up dating to iTunes 7.4.1.2, I get the following error message when syncing my iPhone;
"The iPhone (Phone Name) cannot be synced. You do not have enough access privleges for this operation."
I tried re-authorizing the computer as other users suggested but the error message persists. Restarting, rebooting have not helped.
    Any ideas?

  • WebLogic Error VM Could not reserve enough space

    Hi There,
I have installed Weblogic 8.1 Deployment Server on Windows XP. The installation was successful, but when I am starting the weblogic it is not starting and throwing an error:
*"Error occurred during initialization of VM Could not reserve enough space for object heap"*
Can somebody help me to resolve the issue.....
    Many Thanks in advance....
    Regards...

Sounds like maybe you have misconfigured -Xmx or -Xms when you invoke the JVM and are asking for more memory than your machine can physically allocate. Would need to see your weblogic startup configuration and how much RAM is installed on your target machine to help debug further.

  • Error msg:  "do not have enough access priviliges for this operation"

    Windows 7
    iTunes 9.0.2.25
When I open itunes, I get this error msg :
I get a "Can not save a library file - I do not have enough access priviliges for this operation."
    Any suggestions?

I went ahead and add my Program files(86)/iTunes as an Exclusion in the Eset Advanced Set up any ways- just in case.
As well as that, you'd need to set an exclusion on the iTunes library and media files (as per their instructions for 2000/XP/Vista when using Smart Security 3.x).
The default location for the relevant folder on Windows 7 is:
    C:\Users\username\My Music\iTunes\

  • HT1238 ipor shuffle will not reset. error message: do not have enough access for this operation. Tried ipod shuffle reset utility, error message: intended for 32 bit windows version. This 4th gen ipod shuffle is junk.

    why cant this reset?

That old "Reset Utility" is ONLY for the 1st and 2nd gen iPod shuffle, which had some issues that prevented using the standard Restore in iTunes, so Apple release that utility.  It was released when Windows XP was the latest version of Window; it does not work with Windows 7.   But it would not help you if your shuffle is 4th gen.
When you say "reset," are you trying to do a Restore on the shuffle in iTunes, from the shuffle's Summary tab?  When does that error message appear, exactly?

  • ERROR: You do not have enough access privileges for this operation

All of a sudden (she's had it for a year) my wife is getting the above message when she connects her Classic iPod and it tries to synch.
I have repaired permissions, rebooted the computer, tried again, same message.
We log in as different users and my iPod works and synchs fine.
Log in as her, and her synch is aborted.
    Has anyone else experienced this?
Using Get Info I've confirmed that she has Read/Write permission everywhere I think she should.
    We're both Admins.
    Any ideas, anyone?

  • Time Machine Error - Time Capsule not big enough?

I have a 500GB Time Capsule which I use solely to back up my Macbook. Time Machine is giving me an error message as below:
This backup is too large for the backup disk. The backup requires 176.38 GB but only 121.14 GB are available.
Looking on the Time Capsule, the current Sparsebundle is about 376GB - so I'm not sure why Time Machine is suddenly failing to just increment onto that?
    Am I missing something?

Do the math: 500 GB less 376 GB gives 124 GB, around the size that Time Machine says is available. It seems that Time Machine is trying to create an entirely new, complete backup of your computer. Did anything change with your computer recently, such as the disk drive or main logic board? Either of these can make Time Machine want to start over.
