E-Recruiting EP4: Blacklist and KIV Applicants

Hi Experts,
I wanted to keep a list of blacklisted candidates as well as a list of candidates which have been KIV. I am considering whether to use Application Group or Talent Group.
Appreciate if you can share with me what is the difference in terms of pros and cons.

E-Recruit New Password for Unregistered Applicant

We are running E-Recruit 3.0 and MySAP ERP 5.0
Can someone tell me how SAP knows where to send the email for a new password generation (and how this functionality works in general)?
It is not working for us - for registered nor un-registered applicants. There is an email address on the business partner, but it's in the Address-Independent Communication section, not the standard communication section, and not on the SU01 user record. (speaking of which, how does the SU01 get populated and can I select those fields in configuration as well?).
I found a workflow: HRRCF_SEND_PASSWORD, but I don't know if it is configured properly or what is missing: Task Group: 51900004 there are no agents assigned.
Can someone help me configure this workflow and tell me how to make this work?

Please check the following things :
1. The candidate assignment for the user WF-BATCH might be missing as there might be an
exception while executing the class method CL_HRRCF_CANDIDATE-GET.
2. A printer (Output device - If that's what you meant) of type LP01 is
assigned to the user WF-BATCH ( I have checked it using transaction SU01)
By using the T code so01 we can actually try and send mails.Using the T code SCOT and also SOST we can get the status of the messages.
You may check with these things...For sure there is some configuration missing which is not allowing the mails to be triggered from the portal end.

You can use 'File Attachment' option in the form which will allow the user to attach documents to the application.

No. apple will not facilitate your ability to use a stolen phone.
If it is locked with YOUR Apple ID and you can't remember the ID or password, start at https://iforgot.apple.com. If you can't reset it there, call AppleCare and speak to someone in Account Security. Be prepared to prove your identity.
If it's locked with someone else's ID, they must release the lock.

MSS Requisitions is not moving to Recruiter's POWL and system is throwing the errors.

Hope all are doing in good spirit.
I have an issue in regards with Requisition Creation and its related process.
I am working in Standalone architecture where Recruiting server is in another instance apart from HR system.
We are using WS45600028 standard workflow.
When Manager submits the Requisition to higher level manager to approve, its done successfully and the notification is going to the Manager. But after approval, Requisition is not going to Requiter's POWL queries.
I have maintained Support Group, Lead Recruiter in it and assigned this to Requisition.
I have checked HRP5131 table. But there is no SOBID which sould be flaged as Lead Recruiter.
When Higher level Manager approves the Requisition, It is successful bu there is an error in slg1.
Error: Error when ending the Work item 0000007704 in HR system.
The system returned the call of interface SAP_WAPI_WRITE_CONTAINER in this context
System Response:
Call ended with an error. The function was not executed.
Procedure: Remove call.
At the same system is throwing the error for the User (This user is used for RFC creation using with transaction SM59): No candidate for this User.
Details of error: The error occurred in program CL_HRRCF_CANDIDATE_ADMIN_BL===CM00B line 77
Procedure for system administration:
Check the context in which the error occurs.
Since it it probably program error and not an input error, you should contact SAP.
Can you please look into the above issue and address me if you have any solution for the same.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have done the data transfer from HR system to E-Rec system through ALE iDoc using PFAL.
All the is transferred and corresponding NA, CP, BP generated in E-Rec for P.
All the users(Recruiter, Managers and Recruiting Admin) data have transferred to E-Rec System.
But when Manager is creating the Requisition Request, it going to his higher level manager for approval and its been approved successfully. Later it is not updating the Recruiter's POWL.
In DB table HRP5125 Requisition data is created but with only few details like Start and End date, Object ID. in E-Rec system.
In HRP5131, NB related data is there but there is no SOBID for lead Recruiter.
Immediately i am getting errors in both HR and E-Rec systems as follows after the Requisition got approved.
In HR system, Error when ending the Work item 0000007704. Workflow completed successfully but still here is an error.
In E-Rec systemThe error occurred in program CL_HRRCF_CANDIDATE_ADMIN_BL===CM00B line 77.
And system says, Since it it probably program error and not an input error, you should contact SAP.
I heard that there might be an inconsistency in NA, BP, CP when we do PFAL transaction for data transfers. Can you suggest me to raise SAP ticket in this context?
Or Did i miss any configuration in this connection?
What can be done now to fix this? I am working EHP 5 and SP level is 11.
Can you please let me know. Kindly help me out of it as i am struck with this since very long time.

You can turn it into the police. You can sell it as a parts phone if you are going to be ethical be sure to list it as a blacklisted phone.
Have you enquired as to whether the blacklist is for non-payment or the device is stolen?

You most certainly can, however it won't be too easy.
I believe that recruiting and HR are still reasonably integrated in HRMS 8.8 - the Hire process, with associated messages between recruiting and admin workforce, came into being in 8.9. This means that there isn't a lot of 'out of the box' functionality that you can just turn on.
Additionally, there is most likely the difference in messaging, with 9.1 using services and 8.8 using Bus. Interlinks.
These considerations aside, you would be able to build something, and I believe that most of the work would be on the 8.8 side.

Once the applicant no is generated, a mail needs to be sent to the applicant.
Please suggest how to get the communication details for a particular applicant.
Is there a standard function module for this ??

In the SWDD, you find the work flow container, in that enter BUS7026,
then import and Export it.
Then create the activity, in that select applicant created.
Then configure for the mail.
Then you will get mail, when the applicant no. generated.
Reward if prob. solved.

Recruitment - Employee Number lin to Applicant ID

Dear Experts,
Integration between Recruitment & PA is working fine. Feature PRELI, PRELR are maintained.
After transferring data from recruitment to PA data flows correctly.
But the problem is that for many perners client did not maintain the Infotype 0139 when im trying to create manually it is not giving Applicant ID by default the applicant maintianed for that particular employee.
For all the old employees I want system to give coorespoding applicant ID automtically in IT 0139 but it does not automatically gives the corresponding Applicant ID. All features and v_t77s0 tables are maintained properly. Can anybody suggest what can be done

Hi,
I would like to generate sutomated custom employee number that is generated based on the user person type. Say I have two user person type of type EMP - User person type A and user person type B.
Employees of User Person Type A will have an employee number starts with 1xxxxxx
and employee of user person type B will have an employee number that starts with 8xxxxxx
these two user person types are within the same business group.
There have been a mention of creating a custom db package and calling it from custom.pll...
Would anyone kindly provide more details on this to achieve the requirement?

E-Recruiting EP4: How do you define a Hiring Manager?

Hi Everyone
I am test on how to create a requisition in EP4. There is field called Hiring Manager and a dropdown that has a search help Find Hiring manager or Find Employee. How do I define a Hiring manager so the search help will find it? Same question for the Recruiter field. How do I define a Recruiter so that the search help Find Recruiter will find that employee.

Hi,
this question is open for some days although the answer is quite easy. The search help in EhP 4 has this dropdown. If you choose "Find Employee" it will search for all employees (internal candidates) matching the entered name pattern in the system. If you choose "Find Hiring Manager" the system simply searches over every internal candidate already assigned to another requisition as hiring manager. (There might be some additional status logic on the requisitions taken in account) So as you go on maintaining requisitions the result list will be populated. Assumption here is that only a small amount of employees actually are hiring managers so the amount of entries searched can be reduced.
I personally prefere the option to use the personal list of favorites in this search help :o)

E-Recruiting workflow WS51900008 and WS51900005

in E-recruiting Workflow like WS51900008 and WS51900005 sends emails from smartforms. it is working fine... and in our client's mail server the standard footer which is Notice for copy right get appended to all outgoing E-mails.So when this E-rec mail is going in outlook it shows 2 different overlapping screens. one is our smartfoms(i.e Mail Body) and other shows this copy right Notice.
I want to know do i require PDF printer to solve this.. so that smartforms goes at attachment with that e-mail. cause i saw in debugging it fetches PDF1 devicetype and assign it as the printer..So any idea of getting this solved...

You can probably try a HTML view of the correspondence.
Please check the Format maintained under channel "E-mail" in the below node;
SAP E-Recruiting--> Recruitment > Applicant tracking> Activities > Correspondence> Create letter templates > Output channels> Assign document formats to output channels.
Try changing the format from SSF_PDF to SSF_ASC or SSF_HTM
Iam not sure if this would work but should be worth giving it a try.

This is a list of the infotypes used for e-recruiting. You could just put HRP before each and that is the table where the information is stored.

E-Recruiting profile transfers and uploads

I wonder if anyone can help me with the following two questions?
1) Would it be possible to build a transaction or program(s) that would allow us to transfer data on an external candidate's profile to a new internal candidate profile? A lot of our new employees find it frustrating that they have to re input the data into their internal profiles once they become internal Bruce Power employees.
2) There is a third party recruiting software system called Executive Centre. One of the modules in the Executive Centre is called Career Portal (which is very similar to eRecruiting). Would it be possible to create an upload of data from Career Portal to the internal candidate profiles in eRecruiting?

Hi Sandy,
well I have a few questions. Do you want to transfer this data to the PA profiles in HR or to internal candidates in E-Recruiting?
In the first case I cannot help you, PA infotypes and E-Recruiting is not compatible at all.
But in the last case you can activate the direct movement of the external candidate to an internal ones.
Therefore you need an RFC connection from HR to E-Recruiting. Also the T77S0 switch on HR RECFA DTCBA needs to be set on the RFC-connection.
This shall work if you are on ERP2004 or ERP2005 (HR version).
In this case the hired candidate you hired via PA48 will reset to an internal ones. The external user will be replaced by an internal ones after next ALE transfer.

Sorry, our websites support ticket button doesn't work at the moment, so I am looking for a mod/support guy to help out. Apologies for posting on forums.
I have been trying to get our emails of 5 different blacklists, I have gone through the lists manual delisting processes for four but cannot get it off the Sorbs Spam.
We are also constantly getting spam email every day.
I was wondering if you could please facilitate getting our server off this blacklist, (our website is stepglobal.com) and if there are any measures you can do to stop the amount of spam received and/or getting listed on these lists?
Also if a support person could look at our support feature and fix the 'continue' button.
