E-Recruiting : Impact on BSP application after Installing EHP3.

Hi,
In E-recruiting Current system ECC6.0 there is a BSP title name u2018Enter External Applicationu2019 would this application remain there after installing EHP3.
Or it will no longer exist.
Can anyone please let me know. Also the technical name of the BSP view for u2018Enter External Applicationu2019 .

There is no changes to BSP applications like 'Enter External applications' in Recruiter role.The only major change
EHP3 is the Search that too you can activate if you want.

Go to SMICM and Goto-Services
There for http go to change.
And increase the time for keep alive and processing time to 1000 sec in the beginning . Later after all applications are opened atleast once you can reduce it.
Also if the server is restarted it becomes default.

How do I remove duplicate applications after installing Tiger 10.7.2?

After installing Lion 10.7.2 I have ten duplicate applications, all are applications that are generally included in MAC software (ie DVD playe, iChat, iTunes, Mail, etc.). How do I remove the duplicates? I tried deleting one from the folder where I generally kept it, then replaced it with the newer version that loaded with 10.7.2. However, that created a duplicate again.

I can (somewhat) speak for iChat.
iChat should always be kept in the Applications folder - so much so that it should not be put in any sub folder (I have heard of people putting it in an IM apps folder or lumping all Apple Apps in one folder).
This unfortunately causes problems in Updating (iChat gets updated from time to time in OS Updates) and in Upgrades (Such as moving to Lion) as the Apps are not "in the right place".

Bus error on some applications after installing 2013-002 update

Hi,
After installing 2013-002 Security Update on Mac Os 10.6.8 I get Bus Error when starting chrome (last version), trying to select a disc image in VirtualBox 4.2.12 and possibly in other applications.
Any known bug that I'm not aware of? Reseting PRAM didn't work.

User NOT able to login again to BSP application after logging off

Hi Experts,
What the user is doing?
Step 1: User logged into BSP Application. Result: Successful login
Step 2: User logged off from BSP Application. Result: Successful log off
Step 3. User again tries to log into BSP Application with correct login credentials. Result : LOGIN FAILURE
What is being displayed onto the screen after step 3?
1. Login screen does not changes.
2. It does not show any error/warning messages.
3. Next screen, after login screen is NOT being displayed.
What the user does next?
User is deleting all the cookies & cache, and again trying to log into BSP application. Result : Successful login
Question:
Everytime, the user logs off from the BSP application, and again tries to login, he/she is NOT able to login without clearing the cookies and cache.
First, the user has to clear cookies and cache, then ONLY he/she is able login.
Can you please advice on this?
Response will be highly appreciated.

Problem with another application after install Adobe Illustrator CC 2014

Hello, I write you because we don't know how to fix this problem.
We've encountered a problem after install that software in our corporative computers, for some reason the default font of Lotus Notes changes after install Adobe Illustrator.
It changes Calibri font by The Times New Roman font. Those problems have been detected in the 100% percent of tests made. (Uninstalling Adobe and/or Lotus, installing the software in many PCs and suffer the same issue).
There is a compatibility problem between those programs ?

I am afraid Illy is reluctant to recognize Calibri as a (proper high quality) font and therefore replaces it whenever she comes across it.
Have you had the same issue with the original CC or even earlier?

HELP, NO MAC APPLICATION AFTER INSTALLING BOOT CAMP

I recently decided to install Windows XP on my MAC. After doing so I no longer have acces to anything other than Windows. Its like the MAC side vanished. ??????
can anyone advise me how to fix this problem? Has anyone experianced the same problem?

Put in your Leopard disk, or the 1st disk that came with your computer. Hold Option while your computer is turning on and select the Leopard disk. Click next so that you can see the menu along the top of your screen. I don't recommend going farther then the Welcome screen as it is how you start a reinstall. On the menu screen that comes up go to utilities/start up disk and select your mac drive. Then quit and restart it should boot to mac.
Also before you restart goto utilities/Disk Utility and make sure you have a Macintosh HD on the left
IF you do not you might have reformatted your computer to just have the windows partition and then we will have to talk different options.

"Not data found' for an application after installing Yosemite

Since I installed Yosemite on my MacBook Pro, when I try to open an application (Y), i am asked to refresh its content and then, a window pops up and says : Your data cannot be found at : users/me/library/Y... the software will now try to start using the default data file location.
And I cannot open the application..
Can you tell me what to do ?
I have tried to disentail/delete/erase the app and then to reinstall it but it always the same.

Do a backup.
Quit the application.
Go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J. When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Select Library. Then go to Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist. Move the .plist to your desktop.
Restart, open the application and test. If it works okay, delete the plist from the desktop.
If the application is the same, return the .plist to where you got it from, overwriting the newer one.

Do I need to re-install 10.4 applications after installing 10.4 Server?

I have 2 new hard drives I want to put in my G4 MDD. I no longer have my original 10.4 installation disc. I have a Mac OS 10.4 Server installation discs. If I install the SERVER on the fresh blank drive will this also install the entire 10.4 applications??? Or must I get another regular OS 10.4 install disc? BTW the 2 new discs are sata and I have a new PC card and cables for the conversion to sata.

Apart from some under the hood differences, the only difference when using the Interface is the addition of a Server folder in the Applications folder. This folder will contain the applications specific to OSX Server:- WorkGroup Manager, Server Admin, System Image Utility etc. None of which you have to use if you don't want to.
Within the Applications folder (Server or Client) - assuming a standard OS Install with no additional iLife - will be all the usual applications - Safari, Mail, iTunes, TextEdit, Stickies, Time Machine and the rest. You'll also see the Utilities folder which will IIRC be the standard one you'd normally see with a client OS.
There's nothing stopping you from installing any other application you would normally install on the client OS and use it exactly as you would on the client OS.

Install applications after install of Yosemite 10.10.2

I erased my HD with disk utility and then did a fresh install of Yosemite. Now when I try to install the programs I had previously, legal/licensed programs or even just a basic install like Firefox downloaded from the Internet, the install fails. The installer eventually goes to not responding in Activity Monitor. I never get prompted to agree to AUPs or anything. I was able to install iPhoto from the App Store, but all other install attempts for things like Adobe Reader, Java etc.. all fail.
I was able to install Firefox and Photomatix Pro by "dragging to the Application" folder.
I did notice in System settings - Security and Privacy that Apps downloaded from is set to App Store and Identified Developers, this should be good. But I also clicked the lock icon and it just says Authenticating. I should be prompted to put in the administrators password.
What is stopping me from installing basic applications like Adobe Reader?

I cant uninstall CC applications after install CC2014

My OS is 10.9.3
I installed some applications CC2014 and now I ca't uninstall the old versions (and new). Although I had already successfully uninstalled some applications in previous days.
From not being able to uninstall, I've also seen applications that I installed do not appear as installed in the CC box.
The error asks me quit applications, startup items, virus software and firewall.
I've done everything, but the problem persists.
Some one can help me?

Unable to launch oracle applications after installing 10g Express

I installed 10g express to be able to access the database using a client (TOAD). Now I am unable to launch the oracle applications. I am able to login but once I select a responsibilty and function java never launches. Any suggestions?

could you please let us know more about where you installed express database and why your applicatin is not working?
But lets say if you have installed express database on your laptop and on your application is not launching, then problem could be with your application and browser. There is no connection between client and oracle application client.

Ipod touch mail application after installing 2.0

Hi,
Since new iTunes 7.7 & 2.0 firmware installation, it's impossible to run mail on Ipod touch.
Application quit immediatly and it's also impossible to delete mail acount on ipod touch.
After many restorations the problem is still alive.
I guess i'm not the only one...

HI, I think i found the solution
1- Restore ipod with 2.0 firmware. You loose all settings
2- Delete old ipod restoration on iTunes preference panel
3- Do not use old ipod retauration on Itunes for the first sync
4- When you sync 1st time, set only mail account on itunes and choose fresh ipod (no music, no photos ....it's very faster)
5- See after if mail account is transfered
6- What a beautiful life......
