E-Recruiting- To send Questionnaire to a candidate

Hi
I want to send a questionnaire to the candidate along with a letter. I have created a questionnaire activity and assigned questionnaire to the activity. I have also created another activity by name request questionnaire and assigned a letter. The earlier Questionnaire activity is appeared as reference activity on this page. I have sent the document through e-mail option. My question is how a candidate will see this questionnaire and complete it.

Hi Robin,
when you send a letter to a candidate, that letter contains a link, Through that link, when candidate accesses, questionaire will open. and complete the questionnaire.

Got your point.....
you want a domain of the questionnaire separate to that what is being used to access the system....
In such a case i suggest that modify the smartforms which sends the url to the external candidate.....
create a custom table where you store the domain..... pick it up in the smartforms which send quesionnaire to external candidate...... and concatenate in smartform and send it.......

SURVEY - How to Activate Send Questionnaire Button To Get Survey Returned

Hello,
We have created surveys/questionnaires within SRM using SURVEY cockpit. We have success now getting Surveys to go to the email address BUT when we hit the SEND Questionnaire button, nothing happens when trying to reply.
I have located a few posts on this forum but none of them have been the answer to our problem.
Is this an ABAP object oriented class - ABAP-OO - that needs to be assigned via UBDS/UBDC?
If so, we are not sure the technical name for it . Would CL_MPA_HANDLE_ALERT_REPLY happen to be one that might work?
Any help would be immensely appreciated and points assigned.

If we want to retrieve the survey answers from a URL rather than email, where do we have to address the configuration? TCODES?
Also, we want to use the web application library to populate a drop list of vendors. Is that something you have had experience with?

when the vendor received the link "http://hostname.com:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/uws_form_service/page1.htm?uws_application=ROS_QUESTIONNAIRES&uws_mode=MAINTAIN&uws_refguid=DED3E7C0E226F8F1A9180024E851B45E&sap-client=300&sap-language=EN" ,and clilck "send questionnaire" .he got a web "Thankyou for participating. Your questionnaire has been saved. " The ST_purchaser nerver find the questionnaire in Suppliers from Self-Registration .
PS : I have Assigned the anonymous user to the self-registration application (ROS_SELF_REG and uws_form_service) .

I have implemented the supplier self registration,I have a problem when the supplier send questionnaire.This questionnaire doesn't appear in the prescreen,even if it seem sended.

do you see a registered supplier at all in transaction prescreen?
Just after the supplier submits a questionnaire, a new BP in created
in SRM with BUPA role Prospect. In order to receive questionnaires
back in SRM, an entry for the receiver in S050 for CL_UWS_FORM_RUNTIME_MAIL
is needed.

Send Questionnaire (supplier registration)

Dear Experts,
When I try to send questionnaire through the Pre-Select Suppliers screen (in thesupplier registration system), I get an e-mail with the message: "Status for Recipient ***** : No delivery to ***** , as recipient unknown"
Someone can please advice me how to dill with this message?

E-Recruiting- Scale for Questionnaires not apprearing

Hi
I have created a scale for Questionnaire in V_T77SK. On (E-Recruiting BSP screen) maintain the Question screen this particular screen is not appeared in drop down menu (against range). However, rest of the scales already configured are displayed.
Am i missing any link .

Hi Robin,
have you refreshed the catagories after creating your new scale? This is necessary to make the new scale available in the bsp.
The function is found in IMG under:
SAP E-Recruiting -> Recruitment -> Applicant Tracking -> Questionnaire -> Update Categories

Edit label "send questionnaire"

Hi everyone!
does anybody know how to edit the label of the "button submit" (the label is "send questionnaire") in Supplier Registration Questionnaire?
I've glanced even at the UWS_FORM_SERVICE (I guess it's the BSP that manages the process) but I didn't find anything usefull and plus I cant find it among the otr texts.
The problem is that this button is a standard button and it doesnt belong to my form customizations, therefore it's not editable from the survey cockpit transaction (ROS_QSTN_SURVEY).

hi,
can you please run the transaction 'SOTR_EDIT' and then look for entries corresponding to ROS*.
you should be able to find all the entries used in ROS.
You should be able to make the changes according to your requirements , the changes would be language specific.
if you make changes in ENGLISH , changes will be reflected only for that langauge.

EREC - Recruiter profile no change on external candidates

Hi,
Our recruiter shall not be able to change data on external candidates, but a recruiter shall be able to create internal and external candidates via his recruiter profile. When we changedthe recruiters profile in backend, he lost the ability to create internal and external candidates.
Does anyone have experience in what settings must be made and where?

there's more than one way to skin a cat . . .
- using fpm to configure the service . . .
or
- login as content admin ( enterprise portal )
- click on portal content
- sap content > specialist>recruiter-->iViews --> select the iview "external candidate management" or any other iview . .
- right click "preview"
- right click within the service --> change config
select the element you want to change / disable . . . an put everything into a transport
or
using the se80
or . . . .

E Recruiting : Race/Gender (EEO Questionnaire) link to candidate profile

Hi All,
When a candidate (external/internal) fills out the EEO questionnaire (Race/Gender) for the first time it should get stored/linked to his profile so that it should not ask him again when he is filling out another job application
Currently there is no such linkage. When the existing candidate comes back to fill another job application the EEO questionnaire comes up blank again for him to fill.
This should not happen, it should show him the existing selections he made earlier and he should be able to change them if required.
Any clue as to how this could be achieved. Appreciate any kind of input.

the only feasible is a workflow or periodical service which sends out the e-mail.
Adding to the profile is not that easy. The questionnaire step in the application wizard is connected to the process template or questionnaire step in the requisition. So there is some place where you can define the questionnaire for the wizard.
For the profile there is nothing like a process template. So what you would have to do is programming a custom roadmap step which reads the specific EEO questionnaire from a customizing table or a simple application where you define the "profile specific EEO questionnaire".
So that's some kind of requirement which is not just an easy to do out of the box option. It is possible, but a little bit of effort!
The customizing table or application for assigning the EEO template for profile maintenance is needed as well, if you just do the workflow

Hello Bharat,
candidacy ranking by questionaire is a function available in all currently maintained e-recruiting releases (300, 600, 603, 604). The only exception is 604 (e-recruiting 600 Enhancement Package 4) support package 3 or lower. Reason for that is easy. SAP just forgot to migrate the function when moving the recruiter interface from BSP to WebDynpro and now has to downport the implementation from EhP5 to EhP4 which is done with SP4. So far for the technical requirements.
For the pure doing in the system: When creating a questionaire there is a screen where you can a s s i g n points to certain answers of a question. In addition you can mark answers as required (not to mix up with question is required to be filled). Now you need the questionaires filled for some of the candidacies. This can either be done as questionaire in the application wizard, as questionaire request send to the applicant or simply by filling as recruiter / manager. If the questionaires are filled you can choose ranking by questionaires in the candidate selection or in the WebDynpro equivalent.
If chosen, you will see the counted points for the answers of each questionaire and a suitable / not suitable flag. The points are just summed up according to the answers. The candidacy is marked suitable if for all questions the required answer is given. Here you see one restriction of the concept, you can technically mark more than one answer of a question as required but if the candidate can only choose one answer none of the questionaires can be suitable. E.g. if you ask for a language only interesting for a special position so not part of the qualification catalog, you cannot mark "mother tounge" and "fluent" as required if both were ok. In this case you would use ranking by search query and search for the question in the questionaire with both answers.

E-recruiting (correspondence) - BSP Questionnaire - logon (OSS)

Does anyone have experience with setting up correspondence in the E-recruiting module?
We are using the SAP Portal with single sign on to ECC. In ECC the endusers have an ECC SAPuserID with inactive password. When sending a questionnaire to an (internal) user (employee), this user receives and email with a link to the questionnaire. Because the questionnaire is opened through the link, a back end user and password is asked for. However, the users do not have a back end user/password because they use single sign on via the portal password.
Example of link:
http://<hostname>:8000/sap(xxxxxxxxxx)/bc/bsp/sap/hrrcf_qa_imail/application.do?PARAM=xxxxxxxx
The problem thus lies in the fact a BSP application is referenced over port 8000 in the link. This triggers the logon screen for the back-end system while the users don't have an active Abap password.
Is there any way to use the portal single sign on to open the link? Or is it possible to open the link in the email without having to fill out a back-end password?
Please contact me if you can provide any information or walk me through the settings!

Specifically, since I have not so much knowledge of Smartforms, where can we find the mentioned "global code of the activity generate new password smartform"? Does this code need editing?
Also, do we need to write new logical/code to accomplish the method below?
"If the user id had a p00* user id for those people i generated the password and sent the questionnaire on their email id with the password."
Finally, is updating the table usr02 for the users accomplished by standard SAP code or did you have to write a custom method for this? Any indication how much time the whole customizing took for the whole process?

E-Recruitment 6.0 - SP8 Maintenance of Candidate Profile

Hi Experts,
I am currently implementing SAP E-Recruiting 6.0 SP 11 and understand that as of E-Recruiting 6.0 SP8, webdynpro is available for internal and external scenarios. From my testing, these scenarios refers to the case where an individual logs into the internet/intranet to apply for a job. But does this apply to the Adminstrator function where it creates/maintains the external and internal candidate profile?

Hello William,
the information above is not correct. The Web Dynpro frontend is currently only available for candidates. When the candidate / applicant applies or logs in to update its data this can be done using Web Dynpro applications.
All functionality for recruiters and admins to maintain or access candidate information e.g. the minimum data entry where a recruiter can type in a hardcopy application or the application to check the applicant profile are only available in BSP. The report mentioned above only generates links to BSP appliction.
As a result if you want to enhance the profile with additional fields you will have to do this for Web Dynpro and BSP.
According to the last information available, SAP will deliver the first version of Web Dynpro frontend for recruiters with EhP4 which is scheduled to the end of this year. But as EhP3 was released in December 2007 and is still in Ramp Up I assume it will not be generally available before Q2 2009.

Please let us know if you have worked on the following:
1) How can we identify in e-recruiting that an external candidate was a previous employee of the company at some point in time? OR how to identify that the candidate had a record in SAP PA in the company?
2) what exactly is the difference between the "deleting external candidate" and " delete external candidate registration" ? is it only that the "delete external cand registration" first closes all the open applications/assignments to requisition and then deletes the details? or some more differerences are there?
Also can you provide more information on "Store Legal Periods"? Can we define these periods based on some other criteria apart from Country/city criteria? if so how?

You can identify in R/3 in INFOTYPE 0001 go to over view you will find all information of employee history

Error when trying to send questionnaire (SURVEY)

I have designed and built a questionnaire using the SURVEY transation in BIW. I am now testing the send to function but I am unable to send this to users as the following error occurs;

    Internal Error: CL_SMTP_RESPONSE error code ESMTP unknown 554 554 <[email protected]>: Sender address rejected.
I have think the SCOT transaction where SMTP email con be configured may help but after trying I can't see how.

HI ,Thanks for your response. That was an error in the code I posted, but wasn't the error I was trying to solve. Once correcting that error you pointed out I am getting the problems not when I send a plain text email like:
