E-Recruiting Workflow WS51800008 ApprovalRequest

Hey Gurus,
I have a problem to receive a workitem of the ApprovalRequest Workflow WS51800008.
If I run the workflow from my BSP everything is working fine. I set the approver within the BSP and I save it.
After that I receive the email in my Business Workplace, but I don't receive the workitem.
I have checked Transaction SWEL I see the Request.
Any ideas what I should do to receive the workitem?

Hello,
Look in the workflow log (e.g. via SWI1) and find out who the current agent(s) of the workitem are.
What mail did you receive?

I want to do workflow for E - Recruitment process . I have gone through SDN for the same , i have checked in sap help also . The standard workflow WS 51800008 is the recruitment workflow which i have found from sdn. But in sap help it has mentioned that there are 5 workflows exists , from which 1 is main and 4 are sub workflows for recruitment process .
Can any body please guide me which one is the right workflow and what is the business object needs to be used .

E-Recruitment Workflow

Hi Experts,
I am new to E-recruitment workflow, which deals with BSP. I copied standard workflow and modified as per my requirement and at the same time am maintaining the webservice's and all.
But the my problem is
Approver is receiving the workitem (in his E-recruitment BSP pages ) and when ever he opens the work item, BSP page is opening with out any data over there. I mean empty page is opening with all field labels only data is missing.
I am not sure how to fix this problem. Binding is also fine as i checked Workflow log.
Any suggestions or ideas to solve this issue. Plz...

E-Recruiting Workflow after Data Entry Error

Greetings,
The E-Recruiting Workflow after Data Entry Error enables you to change and internal or external application that was entered manually. If for example, you enter the application to the incorrect reference code, you can assign a different one. As a result the status of the original application is set to rejected with the status reason of "Replaced by new Application".
My question is why doesn't the candidacy also get set to rejected? Although the application is rejected, the candidacy is still in process and so this candidate will continue to show on the Candidate Shortlist for the requistion. There is nothing that I can tell that will stop a recruiter from continuing to recruit this candidate. I am thinking of changing the workflow to also reject the candidacy, but before I do that, I want to know if there is an error in my thought process here.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

E-Recruiting workflow WS51900008 and WS51900005

hi all,
in E-recruiting Workflow like WS51900008 and WS51900005 sends emails from smartforms. it is working fine... and in our client's mail server the standard footer which is Notice for copy right get appended to all outgoing E-mails.So when this E-rec mail is going in outlook it shows 2 different overlapping screens. one is our smartfoms(i.e Mail Body) and other shows this copy right Notice.
I want to know do i require PDF printer to solve this.. so that smartforms goes at attachment with that e-mail. cause i saw in debugging it fetches PDF1 devicetype and assign it as the printer..So any idea of getting this solved...

You can probably try a HTML view of the correspondence.
Please check the Format maintained under channel "E-mail" in the below node;
SAP E-Recruiting--> Recruitment > Applicant tracking> Activities > Correspondence> Create letter templates > Output channels> Assign document formats to output channels.
Try changing the format from SSF_PDF to SSF_ASC or SSF_HTM
Iam not sure if this would work but should be worth giving it a try.

Recruitment Workflow : How to fetch applicant details.

I am working on recruitment scenario, where the workflow triggers with the creation of applicant no in PB10.
Once the applicant no is generated, a mail needs to be sent to the applicant.
Please suggest how to get the communication details for a particular applicant.
Is there a standard function module for this ??

Hi,
In the SWDD, you find the work flow container, in that enter BUS7026,
then import and Export it.
Then create the activity, in that select applicant created.
Then configure for the mail.
Then you will get mail, when the applicant no. generated.
Reward if prob. solved.

Errors encountered during the recruitment workflow

Hello
Am encountering some problems with the recruitment worklow. The work items for the create interview appointment and create hiredate are appearing in the inbox. When i execute them they remain with the "in process" status.
When i view the workflow log there is an error on the workflow template 00200038 and on viewing the graphical log the process flow stops in 2 areas, the first being on the step wait for rejection where it is saying no agent ready and the second being on the step unless applicant has been hired.
On workflow template 00200073 processing stops at the step determine applicant status.
Could these be the errors that are causing the work items to still be in process instead of being completed? And how do i solve these errors so that processing continues.

Please check if the agent assignment has been done correctly for the step. Also there could be a possibility that the workflwo is waiting for some event to get triggered.
I guess you need to analyse the template and check what exactly is the issue. Workflow log in technical mode can also help.

E-Recruiting - workflow created activity does not attach questionnaire

Hi,
I am wondering if this is "as-designed" behavior or if I have an error somewhere.
I have a custom workflow that runs when the recruiter creates an interview activity. The workflow creates an "Interview Feedback" activity for the hiring manager. This is working fine except the questionnaire is not assigned to the activity. But if the recruiter creates an interview feedback activity manually, then the questionnaire is automatically assigned.
The requisition does have a process template assigned, that assigns the questionnaire for the activity type. In the workflow I am passing the candidacy object as HROBJECT to the tandard "erc_activ.createfromdata" task.
Has anyone else encountered this issue?

&ERC_ACTIV.ACTGUID& is the GUID of the interview activity.
&HROBJECT is the PLVAR, OTYPE, and OBJID for the candidacy. The candidacy is assigned to a requisition which has the process template assigned. The process template assigns a questionnaire to the activity type 9032.
When an activity of type 9032 is created for the same candidacy manually, in HRP5141 the field QA_TPL_OBJID is assigned the value 50004988. However when the workflow creates the 9032 activity as described above, HRP5141-QA_TPL_OBJID is blank, and so when the user accesses the activity they find there is no questionnaire attached.
I am not sure how to use your suggestion to solve this problem. Can you clarify?

Hi All,
We are implementing Recruitment module for our client using ECC 6.0.
I want to know how workflows work in Recruitment. We have a requirement that before releasing an offer to applicant it needs to have an approval from top management like CEO, CFO & COO. So, for an example, when the applicant status is ABC, then this workflow should get triggered and a task should be created in Manageru2019s UWL.
How the distribution list is created for defined set of people.

Thanks for you help.
The task TS21300109 is already marked as General. Then i go to PFAC to simulate the rule. I pass in the notification number and approverRoleID. The first notification i pass in is the workflow i did with sap_all role and it return agent found. Then i pass in the notification which i done the testing without sap_all role and it return no agent found.
This task should be obtaining the employee manager. Both testing i am also using the same employee. Why only the one with sap_all able to obtain the agent?
Any authorisation that is required?

Hello All,
We are facing issue in approval of requisition workflow(WS 51800008).The issue is as follows,
When we forward the requisition to recruiter for approval,the workflow WS51900008,WS51900005 are triggered corresponding to events CREATED,Status Change,but no agent is assigned for both of them.So i suppose the approval Workflow WS51800008 is not triggered
Could someone pls explain me in detail as i m relatively new to e-recruitment.We have done all the necessary settings for the workflow and implemented the note
Note 746709 but with no results.

Both the url are almost same,atleast the return url should contain decision parameter but its not the case here.
What can be the problem,have any one faced similar issue.
And what are the events/workflow steps that occur after clicking approve button.i guess it should trigger
status change workflow WS51900005 to change the status.
In my case if i check in swel it jus says WEBSERVICE completed event been triggered.

Workflow Error in the E-Rec

Dear All,
I am using the workflow WS51800008 for the approval Requisition...
When i am triggering the workflow from the Manager id, it got triggered and it end up with the error in the Task TS51807979 saying "WEBSERVICE method PROCESSDIALOG cannot be executed".
Earlier it didnt got triggered, so i applied the Note 746709 to trigger the workflow.
Can anyone help me to sort this problem.

Hi Yogesh,
So you try to execute the task from the R/3 inbox. This is probably the reason why it gives the error.
You should search this forum and SDN for configuring the UWL, as this task probably can only be executed from the UWL.

MSS Workflow - An error occurred whilst processing the notification

I tried to search a possible cause on SDN / OSS but could not get any solution.

Hi,
There could lot of reasons behind it. Once you encounter this error go to the backend system and run transaction ST22 which will give you the list of short dumps that have occured. Maybe the application goes for a dump.
If there are no dumps then go to transaction SWIA and check for the workflow log if there are any errors within the workflow.

Problem with Restricted Recruiter Requisition Status Change Approval Proces

Hello,
Our company is having a problem with Recruiters recieving any approval notifications for requisitions where the status change is performed by someone logged on as a Restricted Recruiter. The approval notification never appears in the Recruiters approval page. The Restricted Recruiter is able to submit the request without any problems.
I was hoping that someone could help point me in the right direction so that I may begin troubleshooting this.

I have been doing some digging on this matter on E-Recruiting workflow and have discovered transaction SWI2_FREQ (Work Items per Task), very useful. Upon running this utility I found 8 pending approval request tasks. I double clicked on the task to show the workflow status of each task.
I double clicked on one of the request for status change tasks for a requisition which took me to the approval request for status change of Req ########. Here I clicked on the activities tab selected the activities tab, selected the activity Approval request for status change of Requisition ######## then clicked on the execute icon.
Doing this opened up a new web browser and prompted me to login. Using the correct login credentials for this environment I click the login button and promptly recieve the error message...

At this point I am unsure of where to go...
Any help would be appreciated.
