Hi Priya,
You need to configure E-Recruitment in SPRO under E-Recruitment node.
Path : SPRO > SAP E-Recruiting . Starts from 1st node...and check which one is required based on your client requirement and then configure.
In additiona to above you need to configure some integration in SPRO. Find below.
1. Define Context:- SAP Customizing Implementation Guide (IMG) ->Cross-Application Components->Internet/Intranet Services -> Internal Service Request (ISR) -> Definition of Scenarios with Specific Customizing -> Request for Master Data Change -> Define Own Scenarios for Request to Change Master Data
2. Define Vacancy Requisition Form-SAP Customizing Implementation Guide (IMG) -> Integration with Other mySAP.com Components -> Business Packages / Functional Packages -> Manager Self-Service (mySAP ERP) -> Recruitment -> Group Form Types
3. RFC Connection settings-SAP Customizing Implementation Guide (IMG) -> SAP E-Recruiting -> Recruitment -> Applicant TrackingActivities -> Set Up Data Transfer for New Employees

First of all you have decide based on clients requirement implementation
1) is it single system i.e ECC + E-Rec in same system
2) OR ECC and E-Rec separate systems
Configuration process varies based landscape design.

The "e-recruiting" configuration document which is appearing in 1000 threads in this forum is probably some sort of copy of the HR316 course of sap whichs distibution would violate copy rights and license agreements.
Anyways, such documents usually tell you "To configure activities go to IMG node XYZ". This does not enable you to roll out any module. Without solid knowledge of business processes and the ability of transforming them into the component you will fail.
E-Recruiting is a highly process driven topic and is only in very few parts regulated by general rules or rights (e.g. compared to payroll where you have at least a frame of regulations). So business and process know how of real life recruiting is highly recommended. You can see his in the default customizing delivered by SAP, designed by developers it's unusable. First I do after setting up systems is deleting all this crap.

SAP Recruitment configuration problem

Hi all,
I am working on an SAP recruitment project version 4.6C.
I need to get some custom texts into applicant correspondance. For this, I got to see some documentation in the configuration explaining to create a new module pool program and so.
now the problem is I couldnot figure out where to replace this custom program.
I would be glad if anyone can take a look and let me know. At the location where i found this documentation there is no execute button for entries.

What are the BP and BF need for E- Recruitment configuration?

Dear All,
We are going to implement E-Recruitment.
System is ECC6, EHP6 and portal 7.3
Client is Indian
We are going to deploy below Business Packages in portal.
BP Recruiter
BP Recruiter Administrator
We are going to activate below Business Functions in ECC.
HCM_ERC_CI_1
HCM_ERC_CI_2
HCM_ERC_CI_3
HCM_ERC_CI_4
Are there any other to deploy BP and activate BF?
Please guide me on this.

Hi Anoku,
Please check the prerequisites for the business functions. You can find the documentation regarding the business functions in transaction SFW5.
For example: Starting from HCM_ERC_CI_2, you will need to activate HCM_ERC_SES_1 as a prereq.
Keep in mind: You only need to activate the business functions which bring you the functionality you need.

Getting data from E-recruiting

Hi All Gurus.
Is there any FM/BAPI or class by which we can get all data from the e-recruiting system into the HR system (another instance)? Basically we need to get the Personnel data, address, educ, work exp etc.
Or, can you tell me any way by which based on e-recruiting data, the employee is created? I can then study the codes therein and understand how data is fetched from there and mapped to PA infotypes.

Hello Aishi,
employees are created via a standard data transfer from the e-recruiting to the hr core system followed by an action processed in transaction pa48.
To use the scenario you have to configure the rfc destination to the hr core system in the e-recruiting configuration. This can be found in the integration part of e-recruiting IMG.
Next you need an activity of the data transfer catagory. customize one or if you are still in testing there should be one in the sap example customizing delivery.
When you create and process such activity in the bsp application the e-recruiting system calls an rcf function module filling the table T725F on the hr core system with candidate information. The you can start transaction PA48 on the hr system. You will find the candidate there ready for a hiring / organizational change action. When processing the action the fields will be preset with the information from table T725F.
If you want to have a look on the coding check the controller for data transfer activities of bsp hrrcf_act_proc. Start with the do_handle_event method and dig from there into the coding.

i mean is there any additional IT or Transaction code we need to use for US client?

Difference can be with some info types in case of PA
OM will remain same for India and US
E Recruitment configurations would be more or less same you may difference in the business process in turn requires few more additional info types to cover those things
Time management in USA they record attendances and absences both this is used very less in Indian scenario
Benefits is there which is not relevant to Indian scenario

Assignments for requisition screen

I am doing e-recruitment configuration. I have following doubts. Can you help me. I read the SAP help but it is not clear.
-- Questionnaire Ranking -- How do you configure this
-- In the Assignments Requisition screen, there is a column called Match. How is this configured. The reason is, if the candidate does not complete a questionnaire (red traffic light), the column show Five stars. I do not understand.

Only a couple employees were affected. I agree about the search profile, but I know that my search profile fields are fine. What I found was that some employees who had never logged into the system (so who had never accepted the data privacy statement) were added to a requisition by a recruiter. There were a number of candidates in this scenario. In some cases, once added, their name would not appear on the 'Assignments for Requisition' screen. A blank line would appear in its place though. And if you clicked on the affected line and clicked the 'Activities' button, the subsequent window did contain their name. So something was preventing their name from being displayed only on the 'Assignments for Requisition' screen.
I have a feeling it could be authorizations-related, based on the user that triggered the creation of the candidate object, but I am not certain about this yet.
If anyone has ever seen this, your feedback is much appreciated.

Custom Application Configuration not pulling the data in E-Recruiting

My requirement is to make some fields 'required', hide some buttons, change button texts & hide some columns in standard wd component (ERC_A_REQ_MGMT) delivered by SAP. So I created an application configuration and component configuration and did the layout customization. Now in the application I am passing this new configuration name with the parameter (sap-wd-configId)(......sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/erc_a_req_mgmt?sap-wd-configId=ZZERC_A_REQ_MGMT)
As this is a portal environment, in LPD_CUST, In the application parameters, I've used this parameter (sap-wd-configId=ZZERC_A_REQ_MGMT). The custom application is displayed, however, the data is not being passed to this custom configuration, so when I open a exisiting requisition from dashboard, this is shown as empty screen (like a new requisition), but when I take off this parameter from the lpd_cust, the standard app is working fine. Can you please help me understand why the data is not being passed to the custom application configuration?

We faced the same issue in SAP E-recruiting EHP4 solution. The reason is, the configuration which is assigned statically in FPM editor is loaded after the OVERRIDE_EVENT_OIF and thus discards all context nodes which have been already initialized. Afterwards, the context node of has no value anymore and the field on UI doesnu2019t display anything.
Remove the static component configuration in the FPM editor and use the following code in the wddoinit method of the view V_GEN_JOB_INFO. This assignment happens at the runtime.

WebDynpro configuration steps for E-Recruiting

I'm implementing SAP E-Recruiting 6.04. My systems include ECC600, Portal 701, and I already setup TREX 700 and connected to SAP sucessfully.
What are steps I should follow to configure WebDynpro ABAP for my E-Recruiting?
Also, how would I configure on Portal for E-Recruiting?
