Hi,
Can anyone please give me the hint how External recruitment  agencies get acess to E-recruitment to post
they candidates for the job?

In addition to note 874725
Follow the steps below:
1. Enter external agencies from Administrator page.When Agencies are created Business partners are assigned to agencies respectively.
2. Assign user to business partner using SUGR. Assign corresponding E-Recruitment authorizations to User.
3. Provide the BSP application  External application entry to agencies in your companies website.

    Then Web Dynpro -> Web Dynpro Components
    For example, take HRRCF_C_REGISTER_UI  - Registration of Candidate
    Go Web Dynpro Applications - > hrrcf_a_candidate_registration
    Now you can see the link and you can test the Web Dynpro application.

    Incase if you are using BSP's, on running the program RCF_GENERATE_URLS you can find the url for BSP "HRRCF_APP_E_EXT". This link can be provided to the external agencies to upload candidate profiles against specific job postings.
    As far as registration of external recruitment agencies is concerned, the E-Rec administrator can create support agencies using the link "Maintain agencies". Further the user so created will have to be created as a E-Rec user using the program RCF_CREATE_USER where the user is usually linked to a dummy pernr.

    Hello Experts,
    I'm working in a client who has several requirements for an E-Recruiting Project, since I'm not an expert in this module, I would like to share these requirements willing to get inputs from you for I begin my job on the right track:
    1 - How can I feed automatically position postings to targeted job boards (CareerBuilder, Monster, etc.) and popular social media sites such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook?
    2 - Is there a mobile friendly application which allows position searches and applications?
    3 - Can we have an option for Agency Access through the Career Site, which means Approved Recruitment Agencies are able to submit candidates online?
    4 - How can we capture mobility (willingness to relocate / travel) at the time of position application?
    5 - I do not know if it is a SAP question, but is it possible we have a method for search engine optimization for our open positions in order to have them rank well in external search engines, such as Google.
    I think the answers of these questions will be useful for all.

    Hi,
    the candidates are in the e-recruiting system, have the good role, but the name and email is only visible in the list after having changed the BP data in the backend system. It's rare. The result list gives fe. 5 records, but you cannot see the name of the candidate in the result screen. When you open the record, and you ask for the data preview, all data is shown. It's only in the result list that the data is not shown. But, after you have changed somethin in the bp-data in the backend, then the data is shown in the result list. Therefor, I'm looking for a report which 'reloads' the data to be shown in the result list.

    e-recruiting has no time schedule functionality to list all your interviews or offer the posibility to plan ressource e.g. the number of candidates already invited to a accessment center which has a max capacy of 20.
    The only current possibility is the application "my planned activities" where you can display all activities of type "Interview". If I remember correctly you can also choose the invitation date for this activity category.

  • EREC : Job search for external agencies still displays expired job posting

    For external job agencies when they go to view publications. It still displays the job postings which have expired.
    For example it displays job postings whose end date is 15.06.2011, no extension has been done for this postings.
    It allows applications be created for these postings as well. Any idea on how this can be prevented.

    You mean by the reference code search? Yes, there you see by default all codes.
    If you want to see only valid ones you have to activate the checkbox 'published'.

    Just to add on information.
    Internal organizations are such as departments, divisions, and sections
    External organizations are such as benefits carriers, tax authorities, and recruiting agencies.Organization classification Payee Organization when defining an external organization that is the recipient of a third party payment from an employee, for example a court-ordered payment. You can then select this organization on the Personal Payment Method window when entering a third party payment method.
    Generally we do not tag employees(Organization classification HR Organization) to external organizations.

    Using a web dynpro application, I am trying to integrate to a external payment agency. From my Java code, I try to connect to the external payement agencies server. The connection does not go through well. My SAP WAS JAVA is based on HP UNIX platform. Please let me know if some settings need to be done on the server machine such that external IP becomes reacheable from my Java code.

    Hi,
    Did you try to telnet the external payment agency server from your Portal server and verified if that is reachable.
    If that is reachable, check the connection properties (Host name or IP Address of the External Payment Agency Server maintained in your application) once again.
    Also, usually in such cases, you need to get your Portal server added to the External Payment Agency's firewall and hence please ensure if that has been added.
    To be honest, there could be several reasons for not being able to launch the payment gateway page and hence you'll have to work with your network team and the payment gateway vendor team to look out for the communication issues.
    Also, try to read the HTTP Traffic with the help of your network team for troubleshooting.
    The above points are just few potential reasons which you can look up to and the actual reason could be something else as well

  • Issue with script timeouts - trying to send email mail shots - hosting recommendations?

    Background is this - I look after a site for a recruitment agency, which has a backend mySQL database.
    It includes a table of potential candidates, which the site owner can search based on various criteria and then send all the returned candidates an email about potential jobs they might be interested in.
    I'm using an off the shelf script to send the emails, and have jumped through a few hoops to get this to work, but it looks like we need to move hosting unfortunately.
    The script is able to limit emails so that the hosting company doesn't get black flagged as a spammer.
    I've set it up with a progress bar in a new window so the site owner can see progress, but easily get back to the rest of the site.
    But where we have come unstuck is the script timeout on the server - so even though its set to send emails slowly enough, ie under 500 emails an hour, because of that slow pace, it fails if it takes more then five minutes to send them all as the script times out.
    My understanding is that the script includes a line to reset the script timeout value to 0, so enabling the script to keep running until all the emails have been sent. But unfortunately our current hosting company does not allow the script timeout to be reset at the PHP level.
    So my question is this - is anyone doing anything similar, and if so, can you recommend any hosting company that does allow the script timeout to be reset at the PHP level?
    Because at the minute it seems like a frustrating catch-22 - slow it down to get around the spam issue, and it won't run long enough to send all the emails. Speed it up, and it falls foul of the script timeout.
    Any advise on this, or hosting suggestons most welcome!

    Hi,
    I can tell you about my experience in different process.
    I usually have a first interview with the recruiter/agency this first interview is quite general, he usually review your CV, job history,... the recruiter ask you about your interest or motivation for that process, if you are willing to travel, reallocate, etc.. your salary expectations and your knowledge in the different modules. This is the easier interview and if everything is ok, the recruiter will tell you for next steps, probably about the project, the employer, etc...
    In the second interview normally is with the consultancy company, with the manager and an experience consultant that usually asks about technical questions, they ask for example, how to setup a dual accounting process with SLA in GL, which reports you would use to reconcille AP/AR and GL, how many segments do you need to setup in GL for a specific business situation, how to load assest in FA, which are de accounting steps from buy goods until you account the AP invoices,...
    In some cases you have also a final interview with customer just to get the final approval, but the really important one is the second interview.

  • ApEx / HTML DB - are there actually any developers in the Marketplace (UK)

    Following on from this thread " Market opportunities for Apex services ... "
    As a Contract Project Manager in the UK I guess I have a bit of a reverse problem with ApEx (HTML DB). In my last contract we built a good Application on 10g with HTMLDB2, but got Oracle Corp in directly to build the DB and App. Now I am in my next project role I want to use a similar approach for an MIS project, however I would like to take direct contractors from the Marketplace with good HTML DB skills instead. Can I find any..? Nope.
    If I search on jobsite.co.uk for adverts even listing HTML DB I get no results either, so where is the market demand for this skillset?
    Am I the only person looking for HTML DB skills direct, or are people simply not listing it on their CV's as a core skill therefore it's not turning up in recruiting agency matches?
    Thoughts / Opinions / Comment ?

    it makes more sense to have developers on-site with the business users and the rest of the >project/database development team than off site which would only add latency to the overall >project and IMO as a project manager, this is not the most efficient approach.When I said 'offsite', I didn't necessarily mean no onsite visits. I'd certainly consider onsite requirements gathering as a useful exercise where feasible. Also onsite reviews and brainstorming/prototyping etc are a great way to develop applications. What I really meant was that the way ApEx lends itself to remote working means that you no longer need to find and locate a team geographically close to each other.
    I've worked on quite a few projects over the years and I've definitely seen ones where 'having bums on seats' was more important than achieving the end goal (which of course is usually to fulfill a business requirement). It's all about give and take, quite often there a resitance to remote working because some people believe that you don't work as effectively, or that you'll sit and watch TV all day. This is where ApEx can really deliver however.....why? Simple -
    It's such a rapid development environment, the endusers don't have to wait six months (unlike some other technologies) before you've put something together than they can see. I once heard a Java guy quote 3 days to add a field to a webpage due to the number of 'abstraction layers' that were involved. The converse of that is that I recently did (an entirely remote working) project for someone and a lot of the small changes at the end of the project went along the lines of -
    Them: "It would be great if we could have a field to capture XYZ"
    Me: "One moment"...*tap* tap tap
    Me: "Have a look now..."
    Them: "Wow...that was fast"
    I'm not saying that ApEx is invulnerable to project disaster (running a successful project and using the right tool aren't necessarily always linked). However I've found in my experience that when you can show users things quickly and can get feedback from them quickly then you have far more chance of delivering something that is going to be usable to them.
    In todays marketplace, clients are reticent to have people learn on the job and would rather buy in the skills when they need them. (such as I am trying to do)That one always makes me smile....the fact that I know how to do XYZ on a current position is usually because I learnt how to do it in a previous position. I agree that you don't want your entire team learning a new language from scratch for a project (thats a recipe for disaster). However there should always be an element of learning with any tool, I've used ApEx in its various guides for ages now and I can't get through the day without finding something new or a new way of doing something.
