Thanks Mike, I am still septical about going for ABAP Classes - I know it is the direction that SAP wants to go, but with so little information about how to do it properly, I am afraid of doing more harm than good.
You suggested that I should use a BO as an attribute of a class. So, are you suggesting that a should create a class called ZCL_EMPLOYEET, assign the BO EMPLOYEET as an attribute type SIBFLPORB and add any extra bits and pieces that I need in class ZCL_EMPLOYEET?
Have you worked with classes CL_HRPA_INFOTYPE_*. I am assuming they represent the several Infotypes delivered in HR. Any hints about how to 'test' these classes - I didn't quite grasped yet how to 'test' these classes - I would like to see what they do, but I am not getting it.

I think you have an issue to call custom BSP.
- Ignore the warning message (in the table T77RCF_LOG_APPL) as it is just a warning message. I did not touch start page link at all.
- Additionally you need to make (I had to made) an entry in table u2018V77RCF_SMG_NAVIu2019.

How to call bsp application in workflow and process it...

The requirement is ...
HR as (admin) -- in standard workflow selects apprasiee for 360 degree apprasial process(bsp application developed by me)..
aprasiee selects 10 employees and sends to HR
HR checks the employees list and their relationships
                        if
                  HR satisfies and clicks ok .. email will go to all 10 employees selected by apprasiee with a link
              of 360 degree application developed in bsp..
                  else
           HR says to reselect the employees to apprasiee.
when apprasier completes the form and submits both HR and appraisee gets a note that particular
employee as filled your application..
for this process ... there r standard ones and i have to creare new ones ..
tell me which standard workflows i can use for this and which one to and also how to create a new one...
i hope i can use HR and apprasiee selected by HR can be used as standard ones, which i want to copy and create a new one.

If you want to use a BSP in your workflow, this can fairly easy be done by incorporating your BSP as a webactivity in your own flow or into an existing one. Things to consider when creating webactivitysteps in your workflow are:
- Making settings in WF_HANDCUST.
- Make settings in SICF: here you have to activate the WSHANDLER (pad /default_host/sap/bc/webflow/wshandler) and your own BSP which is somewhere under pad /default_host/sap/bc/bsp/&name_of_your_bsp&
- Make settings in WF_EXTSRV: here you can make settings between the import and export parameters of your BSP and the (future) parameters in your workflowtask. When all these settings are made correctly, you can generate a WF-task with the corresponding button in this transaction (a wizzard will be started). The connection between the task and your BSP will be stored in table SWLWPTSSID.
Try if you can figure it out with these transactions. Good luck!

if we select 10 employess such that the application as to go all 10 employess selected in their ms-outlook.

i am new to workflow
i want to add bsp application in workflow..
this is a another task in apprasial process.. there is workflow for standard apprasial process..
but i have created a new bsp application..
apprasiee selects minimum 10 apprasiers . to all the 10 people selected bsp application should go to them to thier outlook..
once thy complete the filling of application and submit it, email should trigger in apprasiee outlook that this apprasier has completed your application filling..
please help in this as i am new to this .. i would be thankful if u explain me in detail..

To add the fields in the field group, follow the below mentioned sequence. However, this method is used to add predefined SAP fields into Field Group. We are not talking about adding Z-Fields into the Field Group.
a) Goto Transaction CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C.
b) Click on Application Elements - You will see hierarchy of PCUI Objects viz. Applications, Views, Field Groups, Tab Page Groups, Toolbar Groups, Events.
c) Open Field Groups. Go to the desired Field Group. The desired field group can be found by expanding the Applications Hierarchy.
d) For the Given View within the Field Group - You can Right Click and add the desired pre-defined SAP Field.

Red Astreik is only acheived through BSP application. It is not possible by standard customization. Sp you need to do
custom modification here to acheive this.

Extractor class to fetch the data from PA0105

Hi All,
Can anyone suggest me the extractor class used to fetch the data from the table PA0105.
Any information regarding this will be highly helpful.

If you give PA0105 all data will be extracted.
Or if you need any specific data you need to know the filed names first. check the table from SE16 for identifying the field names. and do it accordingly.

E-Recruitment BSP pages/SmartForms interface

I've activated a Customer Include field for hrp5121. (Job Postings). The BSP page methods have been modified to display this new field.
I've copied SmartForm HRRCF_DATA_SUMMARY_POSTING and in my Z version, my new field is available in table POST_INFO_WT and has been added to the body of the form. I've also updated table T77RCF_UI_PARAM to use my Z version form.
From the BSP page "Job Posting for Requisition" (HRRCF_POST_MNT), I can click the posting link to view the SmartForm, but my new field has no value.
What method(s) needs to be modified to get my field value from hrp5121 into the SmartForm interface?

when reading your question i asked the following question: what do you expect to achieve by integrating fuctionality which is meant to be called by an external candidate (someone sitting 1000 miles away from your company at home) into your corporate portal? The external candidate has no access to the portal, so why add them? He has to call the applications directly via links sended to him or through links on you career web side.
Technically you might face the problem that all applications for external candidates use the web user for authorization that means they use the ALIAS not the user for logging in, that's why you should always set your user name as ALIAS in SU01 for testing purposes on your development system, This makes life much easier during rollout.

I am not quite sure what you mean by 'driver program', but maybe the following explanation will help solving your problem:
The system generates a function module for each smartform. You can find the function module names easily using backend transaction 'smartforms'. Type in the form name (e.g. HRRCF_DATA_SUMMARY_REQUISITION) in the corresponding input field and press F8.
The function modules are called (e.g. via the recruiters' frontend scenario) from BSP applications. The BSP applications are responsible to gather all relevant data and to supply the function module interfaces. The BSP applications are listed in the IMG documentation (IMG path 'E-Recruiting -> Technical Settings -> User Interfaces -> Assign Parameters to Parameter Types', Section 'Parameter Types SF* (Smart Forms)'). There you can find e.g. the BSP application 'HRRCF_REQ_DOVR', which is used for displaying of smartform 'HRRCF_DATA_SUMMARY_REQUISITION'.

E-recruitment 600 URL/BSP Initial set up - Standalone Test system(ECC 6.0)

At the very cusp of setting e-recruitment up. I have followed SAP note 890357 min configuration.....
The BSP for e-recruit upon test via Transaction SICF do not work, apart from the odd one EG. hrrcf_emp_page
URL's error when created via SE38 RCF_GENERATE_URL. I have set roles, users etc. I know some services require the assignment of a 'service user' eg registration (does anyone know all of them??).
Technical settings>user interfaces>settings for user interfaces with BSP>Start pages - there is no configuration here is this why the start pages are not firing up??
Can anyone let me know what config I have missed and is incomplete?? Where to check in the IMG??

SAP E- Recruitment and Manager BSP

Hi,
When i try loging to Manager BSP encountring an error message "you dont have required authorization to use this start page". btw we are on E- Recruitment Enhancement pack 1.
I have maintained the required settings. ie. reference user and a dialog user. Have also maintained Business partner for this role.
Rest of my other roles like internal candidate / ext candidate, recruiter , restricited recruiter, administrator are working fine.
Manager BSP is an issue. Would appreciate if you could share in your inputs on same.

Which authorization roles did you assign to your user?
Try out the SAP_RCF* roles.
In productive use, build your customer based roles.
If you customized customer specific start pages, you need customer roles. There is an authorization check on the start page id.

BSP link to Workflow task after transport - trans BDLSS

I was able to call a BSP from SAPGUI inbox (trans SBWP) by doing the necessary config in transactions WF_HANDCUST and WF_EXTSRV - generate my task from WF_EXTSRV, etc. The task was generated as a local object but I converted this to a transportable object.
This worked in our development system.
I need to get this into a test system and all the config/workflows was transported correctly. However the link between the bsp and task is not on table SWLWPTSSID as in dev 010.
Iu2019m trying to run transaction BDLSS or report RBDLSMAP to convert the table but that does not appear to be working. What table should I convert in trans BDLSS? Does anyone have any idea what Iu2019m doing wrong?

Resolved this. Here is the solution -
It came down to bad/missing entries in table SWLWPTSSID. This is the table that links the web service maintained in WF_EXTSRV with the workflow task. As it is a client-dependent setting, when you transport the task and webservice you also need to adjust this table using transaction SM30.

Access BSP Service or Workflows on Android or iOS Phones

Hi,
I have a requirement where we need to access the BSP service on Android and iOS phones. Currently we are using the same by maintaining the IP address in host file setting on individual PCs. As the host file setting option is not available for Andriod and iOS plateform (though we have some App available for Host File setting but I am not sure that they works perfectly).
The BSP service is used with PR Release workflow (Customized workflow).
Please suggest some solution that can be used to access the BSP service on Android and iOS phones or how can we use Workflows on mobile phones. Our SAP Version is ECC 6.0.
What is FQDN in BSP service and how to get the same?

Go to SMICM and Goto-Services
There for http go to change.
And increase the time for keep alive and processing time to 1000 sec in the beginning . Later after all applications are opened atleast once you can reduce it.
Also if the server is restarted it becomes default.

In E-recruiting Current system ECC6.0 there is a BSP title name u2018Enter External Applicationu2019 would this application remain there after installing EHP3.
Or it will no longer exist.
Can anyone please let me know. Also the technical name of the BSP view for u2018Enter External Applicationu2019 .

There is no changes to BSP applications like 'Enter External applications' in Recruiter role.The only major change
EHP3 is the Search that too you can activate if you want.
