E-Recruitment Login

Hi All,
I'm having a problem with the E-Recruitment Login. After I login it goes to APplication wizard rather than the profile of the user. Please let me know why?And how can I fix it.
Regards,
Ramindra

I think it is related to accessibility in the portal which is intended to assist SAP users who have disabilities, and require information about accessibility features in the SAP. It addresses users who utilize assistive technologies, and those who do not, but do require full keyboard access.
The check box is put in the 'Welcome to User Registration' window so that as the user you can use 'Activate Accessibility Features'.
Please see topic Accessibility in the following:

  • Recruiter resources (CVs/Postings) are to be transferred to new Recruiter

    Hi Experts,
I have a strange issue in E-recruitment Module.
A recruiter has posted & published certain Job Openings for internal Candidates (Employees) and subsequently he received resumes as employees applied for those posts.
Now, the present Recruiter has left the orgqanization and the new recruiter (as a replacement of the earlier one) have to have his resources (Postings & Resumes) transferred in his E-rec Rec-Recruiter Login on Portal. The earlier recruiter has already left the organisation and his portal Login Credentials have been removed so the new recruiter can not use his Login to see & act on the resources he has collected till date (Postings & Resumes received as response to those postings).
I am sure there must be some provision to view/transfer such resources from one User ID to other in E-recruitment as this is a very common scenario of "Charge/ Resource Handover at the time of Separation from an Organization" . However, I am not aware about the way to execute this task and therefore seek help of you experts.
May I request the experts to guide on how to complete this task?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Amit Linge

    Hi Amit,
Administrator can very well assign the new support team or add support team.
.      In the services of your work overview, choose Adjust Support Team under User Management.
           2.      In the selection criteria, specify which support teams you would like to change and choose Search. The system displays a list of the requisitions, application groups, or talent groups for which you can adjust the support teams.
           3.      Select one or more entries in the list and then choose Start.
           4.      If you want to change the assignment of an individual, proceed as follows:
                                a.      Select the Individual radio button.
                                b.      Specify the personnel number of the person whose assignment you want to change in the support teams of the selected objects.
                                c.      Assign a role within the support team to the person.
                                d.      Choose Add if you want to add the person in the specified role to the support teams for the selected objects, or choose Delete if you want to delete the assignments.

  • Reg: Hiring Manager role in E-Recuitment EHP4

    Hi all,
i am working with Ehp4 . My business package for  Recruiter is Recruiter1.4.1  . I am trying to create a requisition from the recruiter login . I have a field HIRING MANAGER . Wat is the role tat we should assign for the Hiring Manager.
    Thanks
    Priya

    Hi,
I have the same problem on ERECRUIT604 EHP4 SP4. I cannot retrieve managers using Find Hiring Manager search on the Create Requisition page.
I have though found out that there are 2 cases.
On the one-instance solution with HR and ER on the same server an employee is retrieved as a Manager if there are following relationsships to his CP object:
    B     207     Is identic     BP
    B     208     Is identic     US
    B     209     Has employ     P
    B     650     Has candid     NA
Especially the relationship CP B208 US is critical. The problem is though that this relationship is not created automatically be the system as on the one-instance solution the user is retrieved from IT105 subtype 0001 via P object, so you have to create this relationsship manually. Or am I wrong?
On the two-instance solution with HR on one machine and ER on another the above solution does not work at all. Here the relationship CP B208 US is created via ALE, but it does not help for retrival of Hiring Managers.
I have also added the 'manager' role to the employee, the employee is the manager in the Organizational Structure, and still I cannot retrieve him.
Maybe it's a bug in the system. Anyway I cannot find any hints telling what are the assumptions for using this functionality.
    Waiting for an answer
    Best regards,
    Beata

  • Login problem with E-Recruiting URL, where check host name?

    Hi,
I've set up a standard Recruiter user and assigned him the standard Recruiter security profile. When I run RCF_GENERATE_URLS, I get this URL:
    http://iwdfvm2160.wdf.sap.corp:51080/sap/bc/bsp/sap/hrrcf_start_int?sap-client=200&sap-language=EN&rcfSpId=0003
But I get an "internal error" when I login with my User. Our server's host name is iwdfvm2160.gcsap.com, but the program isn't resolving this. This is probably the cause of the error, but how can I get it to pick up our host name?
We are on E-Recruiting version 6, and it's running on the same box as HCM.
    Thanks, Vlad

    Hello Vlad,
usually the links generated from the report are correct. Only very rare problem might be in the network structure of your company that the internal dns servers can't resolve the server name or the sap servers are in a not reachable network segmant as you never worked with http access to the servers for other applicatiohns.
But if you log on the first time with your user and have not been working with the application yet, the more probable reason for this error is the missing candidate for e-recruiting. Without a candidate you won't be able to work with the application.
Check transaction SLG1. There should be an error "No candidate for User <your username>" or sth. similar.
If so run report RCF_CREATE_USER to get a candidate. Then you should be able to log on.
If you already have a candidate and cannot login check SLG1 and SM21 for error messages. If there are any but you don't feel able to solve the logged problem. Just post the message here. I think someone will be able to help.

  • E-Recruiting - Candidate login

    Hi All,
We need to define a new method of ID creation on this customer.
Normally the ID (trough the BSP) is created by USERID but here we need to define the login as the CPF (similar to the Social Security from US) that will be created using just numbers.
Also, we will have the EHP4, is it possible to deliver the WD application on the Internet without Enterprise Portal? Because I think that is better to adapat the screen to the CPF with the WD.
Have anyone worked with similar situation? Any other point of view?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,
for the last question. As the internet is the external candidates view, it has always to work without enterprise portal as an external candidate has no access to EP. Also the internal candidates views are available w/o EP for intranet as this was not changed with EhP4. The EP is required for manager (MSS) and for recruiter and admin view.
So far I did not encounter the login topic. Setting it to a predictable value might make it easier for the candidate to remember but it is an security issue (i know the user of someone if I get the hands on his CPF) and might additionally bring you in trouble with deletion concepts / deregistration if you are not very carefully. Furthermore the Cadastro da Pessoa Física (wikipedia yaeh) wil have to be entered by the applicant or derived from other inputs (no idea if this works) - so you have to trust the applicant end ensure that he won't mistype.
In general the external candidate only uses his alias to login and this can be changed (there is even a standard function to allow the applicant to do this on his own). If you really want to implement this requirement you would have to adapt the description in the registration scenario and transfere the alias to a customer field in IT 5102.
For unregistered application I'd put the field for CPF on profile screen. Make it mandatory. Then get the IT 5102 change as customer WF event. Link a workflow to this event to change the alias to the value. This workflow should also include sending the login data to the applicant so he knows how to login. I see no real problem in the purly technical part of this solution.

  • Problem to login into mySAP e-recruiting via webbrowser

    Hi,
I did Google the whole web to find a solution for the following problem. I hope anyone of you can help me:
We installed mySAP e-recruiting 300 with the actual service packs in our SAP-System (SAP ERP Central Component 5.0) using the integrated webserver 6.40.
We did all of the necessary customizing.
The problem is: When I like to login as an external candidate via the url I created with the report RCF_GENERATE_URLS the browser shows me the login screen. After I entered the correct login data the screen is showed again... and so on...
It is possible for the user to login into the system via the SAPGUI. He has the role SAP_RCF_EXTERNAL_CANDIDATE.
This problem occurs also when I tried to login as a internal candidate, administrator...
The System works fine when I call the Candidate Registration (HRRCF_CAND_REG) all is working fine and a user is created in the system, which can create a application and can change his stetting. When I close the browser, the user is logged of.
I already checked all OSS. The profile parameters login/accept_sso2_ticket and login/create_sso2_ticket of the Web Application Server are both set to 1. (according the OSS 595109).
Does anyone has a solution for this problem?
Thank you very much for your help.
    Philipp

    Hi everyone-
It doesn't sound like an SP10 problem to me.  I've used SP10 on multiple systems and it works great every time.
I've seen this issue before, but I can't remember what I did to resolve it.  I would suggest starting with the basics.  For example, go back into SICF and make sure all of the appropriate services are active and all of the necessary E-Recruiting services have the reference users assigned with the appropriate roles.
Next, as was already mentioned, make sure the SSO flags are set.
Lastly, feel free to provide an example URL, so that I can check my system and share the service logon details (obviously omitting your server name).
    Good luck
    Jon

  • E-Recruiting External Candidate login

    Hi,
I've got a problem with the external candidate login. System requires a logon prompt instead of taking me directly to the start page.
I've got the RCF_UNREGSER service user set up. I DO NOT have this user assign to the HRRCF_START_EXT service. I do have this service user assigned to some of the other services. Could the problem be that I have the service user assigned to one too many or too few of the other services?
    Thanks, Vlad

It seems that there are somethings mixed up.
A startpage is something, a candidate can log on (HRRCF_START_EXT?rcfSpId=0001). From there he can look for jobs, maintain his profile, fill out personal settings and different other things. In this case he has a user and password.
Using the unregistered scenarios is done via the unregistered services as you mentioned. There is no start page built for that. Those links are supposed to be integrated into the customer's web page directly.
Even the log on to the candidate self service start page shall be integrated into the customer's web page.
The post you made before gave me an indication, but I need to ask: Did you generate the URLs via RCF_GENERATE_URLS?
This might give you an impression between the difference of registered and unregistered services.

  • E-Recruiting and ECC Integration Password and Authorization.

    Hello,
We are running a stand alone E-Recruiting 3.0 with bringing data from our SAP HR system using distribution model.  Everything is working correctly, but the client does not want to have SSO, so internal users are brought in to E-Rec, but their passwords are not, and they have them due to ESS.  Also when they are brought in, for some reason with Authorization as a reference user of External Candidate.  Any help?
    Thanks,
    Alex

Yes we need password for them, because we are not using SSO or the portal they manually have to login to e-Recruiting.  We have ess, so they all have ID's and passwords on the SAP HR system.  I thought maybe we can bring in their passwords from there, because they are syncronized to their network id's.
    Thanks,
    Alex

  • E-Recruiting - active on both central ECC + Standalone box and integrated?

    Hi,
Can someone tell me if the following landscape is possible with E-rec? (we are installing ehp4)
    a) Our central ECC system with the E-Rec component activated. Used for internal recruiting.
      +
    b) A standalone E-Rec box , connected and integrated via ALE to the above central ECC system. Used for external recruiting.
So we now have have E-rec activated on both systems with the standalone one integrated into the ECC6 one where E-rec is also active.
Will we have all the functionality of E-Rec/Talent Mangement availalble in this landscape? Will the manager via the Recruiter business packages and MSS be able to use all functionality seemlesly with all data merged between the systems? Do you think all BI reporting on E-rec will work as it suppose to?
We want to be able to integrate and use the data from both systems as a single unit with standard SAP functionality. We only want to physically seperate where the external and where the internal users log on to.
    Thanks

    Hello,
My suggestion to you would be to have the ECC server upgraded to EHP4, activate E-Recruiting and have it inside the firewall as the back-end server. Recruiters and Managers accessing through portal will access this system. You will have the other server as the front-end server with E-Recruiting. Candidates will update their information in this front-end server, which will in turn update the back-end server through an RFC. This can be achieved through configuration if you check in SPRO.
There is no such thing as external recruiting or internal recruiting to some extend. What you have is external and internal candidates in the same talent pool. It is when you post to candidates where you can select whether you want internal candidates only to apply or external candidates. The external will not see internal postings and vice-versa when they search for jobs. External candidates will login from the internet while internal candidates will login from the portal. Your candidate's information will be residing in both systems but the backend will be updated through an RFC.
In this case the BI will work as normal. I hope this will help you - but this is my opnion.
    Best Regards,

  • Oracle ADF Security Login page

    hi.
I am using oracle ADF 11.1.2.2.0 (oracle Jdevelopr 11g release 2) in my job environment. There are 3000 users working as client level in our company. They have separated user Id and roles. They can change their passwords. There are expiration period for passwords which is handle by in database level. when the employees are going to terminate or retirement , we can control their login status. that mean we change their Active status as a Inactive status. some times we recruit number of emplooyes for cover our business targets. Their User Id also in database table level.
My main problem is how we can handle number of employees using Oracle ADF security configuration.
second one is how user can change their passwords.
Third is how number of employees going to terminate ,handle their Active/Inactive State.
Fourth one is If we use this Oracle Security system ,project managers or project cordinator or Adminstrator level authenticator must need to deploy time to time war file, because of adding removing users in jazn-data.xml.
hoping help from you.Thanking for all.

So, you can define SQLAuthenticator/SQLReadOnlyAuthenticator on Weblogic which will retrieve users from your db table(instead of jazn-data file) to application server.
Then, in your application you can enable ADF Security and this will generate login page.
    And, this is it :)
If you need some custom processing before users login to your app, then you can create custom login page and do whatever you want in Java code:
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E16162_01/web.1112/e16182/adding_security.htm#BABDEICH
    >
But 11g has Database connection in Application Resource. Using that connection I need to log to the system using user's User iD and Password
    >
This connection is valid only in design time. When you deploy your application to application server, then you can include this connection in .ear file, or you can define Data Source on Weblogic(which is better approach).
To programmatically retreive db connection, you can create utility method in your Application Module.

  • Unable to access E-Recruiting Start Pages Externally

    Hello,
I’m hoping for some assistance with an E-Recruiting issue (standalone system; Version 3.0).  We are currently only able to access the start pages while inside of our network, and receive a “page cannot be displayed” message while outside of our network.  This is with the exception of the candidate registration page.  We can successfully register, and then pass on to the main E-Recruiting start page for an external candidate.
The hrrcf_start_int bsp/service is used to call the start page for registered internal candidates, recruiters, and administrators (different view for each).  The hrrcf_start_ext bsp/service is used to call the start page for registered external candidates.  And, the hrrcf_cand_reg bsp/service is used to access the external candidate registration page.
The URL’s for the start pages were created using program RCF_GENERATE_URLS.   We are requiring all traffic be routed through our WebDispatcher, and all traffic be HTTPS, so the URL’s start out with https://recruiting....  Our E-Recruiting system is actually “careers”, but again, we want all traffic to go through our WebDispatcher, which is “recruiting”.
We have created external aliases in transaction SICF for all three URL’s, and using the alias, I can successfully login to all pages within our network.   When I test the external aliases within SICF, I get an internal error (The user is not assigned a candidate or an employee) for the hrrcf_start_int and hrrcf_start_ext services.  When I test the external alias for hrrcf_cand_reg, it is successful.
When I test the hrrcf_start_int  service within SICF, I get the logon page, but after logging on, I get message “Name of logical port’&&lp_named” is invalid”.  When I test the hrrcf_cand_reg service, it is successful.
When I test the hrrcf_start_int and hrrcf_start_ext BSPs in SE80, I receive an Internet Explorer “cannot display page” message.   The same is true for the hrrcf_cand_reg.  However, it is trying to access http://recruiting instead of https://recruiting.  I can see that URL address in the application.do Controller, but have no idea where to change it, because it is greyed out (any help with this would be appreciated as well.)
We have created internal users using program RCF_CREATE_USER, and when I look at transaction BP, I see that it is creating a business partner for each user.
We have had SAP tell us that it is not a WebDispatcher issue, and we have also confirmed that it is not a firewall issue.
It seems interesting to me that we can only get to the one page that does not first require authentication.  If anyone has any information that would be helpful, I would appreciate your time.
Sorry for such a long message, but I was just trying to be as clear as possible.
    Thank you,
    Leeanna Travis

    Hello Leeanna,
quite a lot of topics and doing remote analysis for netwok issues is difficult.
    Some ideas:
    - starting hrrcf_start_ext / hrrcf_start_int via SICF or SE80 will never be successful as these applications need parameters. The message you got when testing startpage from SICF is classical for invalid startpage Id
    - if you do not reach pages from outside, check network traffic / access rights in firewalls. Usually the sap server name cannot be resolved through a dns for an outside call as you companies dns is not visible for internet users. You will need a relay.
    - check that full qualified server name is set on the server
    - check eeb infrastructure that it allows the access protocoll. If ICF service says http but firewall only allows https you won't get a responde. Sometime switching protocolls within the request produces problems.
    - WebDispacher is known for eating parameters / url parts. Try to get your hands on the traces of the requests which really reach the server.
    - if possible supply some more information on release & support package level. E.g. there is a support package which has an error that if you activate 'do not show https warning' in an icf service it does not only hide the warning but the whole logon screen :o(
Hope that helps, if not just reply - perhaps w/ focus on one special point.
    Best Regards
